On Thursday’s episode of General Hospital, several stories are about to have a junping off point when they are revealed.

Unfortunately for fans of the ABC daytime drama series, viewers will need to wait till Monday to find out the ramifications since GH is preempted today.  In story, Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) has come to see Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).  He admits he has been following her.  After first being a little unnerved by it, Griffin asks Anna if they can meet publicly so he can tell her something.  But then he is called away to the hospital in the issue of Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) brain biopsy and condition, that he believes is not going to turn out to be Dr. Mayes (Matt Riedy) diagnosis of cancer, but something else.

Meanwhile, Anna calls Andre (Anthony Montgomery) asks him to meet with her.  She questions if he knows anything about Griffin, and why he might be following her.  Andre assures Anna to his best knowledge Griffin is a stand up guy.  Anna feels like she may have met Griffin somehow years ago, but can’t put her finger on it.

After Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) stands up to Dr. Mayes, he tells Griffin he wants him to figure out what is going on with his mother’s condition.  Griffin says he has seen something similar to this in Mexico.  Brad (Parry Shen) later happens by and tells Griffin he will help him gain access to the results of Dr. Mayes biopsy of Tracy.

Meanwhile at Wyndemere, Laura (Genie Francis) and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) are preparing themselves for the reading of Helena’s will! Sam (Kelly Monaco) arrives for the reading as well, and after getting into a bitch fight with Hayden (Rebecca Budig) over her investigated the new Mrs. Cassadine’s background eventually speaks one on one to Laura.

It is in this scene that Laura apologizes to Sam for her part in covering up Jason’s (Billy Miller) identity.  After the women come to terms with that moment in time,  Sam reveals to Laura that Helena put a curse on her with her dying breath, something which Laura reveals she knows about all to well.   Laura reveals to Sam that Helena cursed her as well.   Later, when Sam meets up with Jason, and after he leaves, Sam realizes he left behind the plaque from the Quartermaine crypt with his name on it.  She touches it and Sam cuts her finger on it.  Is the Cassadine curse beginning to play out?

So, what do you think Griffin is about to tell Anna?  And while many have already read the previews that Helena leaves certain “gifts” behind for those attending her will reading, what would you have Helena leave behind for Sam, Laura, Nikolas, and others?   Share your thoughts and suggestions in the comment section below!

Griffin wants to tell Anna that he is her son, or her nephew. He is Leora’s twin, stolen at birth? Or, Alex’s child? Or Lindsey’s?
Baddie Charlotte absconded him and hid him somewhere, or gave him away.
Will David Hayward resurface? I may be way off base, but I know there is a connection between them….a familial connection. That’s why Dr. Munro is so familiar to Anna.

He could be Aiden Devane, having had facial reconstructive surgery. Yes, yes, yes…..rubbing my hands together, at the prospect/possibilities….doing a happy dance!!!!!! If some of the AMC’s beloved characters will return, whether recasts or not, would be my pleasure!

I’m really hoping griffin is related to Anna somehow Anna needs family in town.. Hope it’s not something dopey like duke incarnated or something like that, it’s not going to fly. I’m telling you griffin looks like a young Tristan Rogers. As for the other plots I hope Helena gives Liz some money for kidnapping little jake.

GH has become very transparent, and that means no suspense or mystery, just transparent..
Know what’s going to happen–
The second Anna said he looked familiar, I knew he was of Duke’s DNA..

0ooh when Tracy had her 1st sign of illness I said;
It was a parasitic brain infection, worms in the brain thing..
And, it will be, wait for it .. / too transparent..

You did, su. I remember…and so did I….as told by my husband. Malignant, benign or an infection. But, you were very sure it was an infection. You called it.
Timmm did suggest that Larry put something in Tracy’s drink….could have been some kind of fetid additive.

Hi, su,
I though that today’s episode held some suspense. Don’t you agree? Obviously, Griffin in a towel, sporting a scar on his lower left part of his abdomen was done for a reason. We were meant to see that…mystery and suspense.
I agree it is not the salivating suspense some of us expect, but I got to see Griffin’s exposed bod, again. Maybe next time he’ll be wearing just a loin cloth. ….KIDDING!!
Also, the name Griffin Fitzgerald Munro really seemed to have jarred Anna, albeit she made an Herculean effort to be impassive. That added a little suspense for me. So, Anna knows a Fitzgerald from her past. That interests me.
We were also treated to an innocent but charged interlude between Griffin and Maxie ( love her and those booties). Will something between them develop when Maxie finds out Nathan lied to her? ….waiting for Claudette!

Some reports are that he is Duke’s son, from another mother. If true, that’ll hurt!!!

Very interesting, Tristan….so many possibilities.

You called it, Tristan. You are right.
I must say, though, Anna seems to welcome these news, in a bittersweet way. I guess it hurts in a different way. She regrets neither father or son ever met. Sad.

Like i said under a different posting…he is her son or her sister’s son…

So did I, Jimmy. But, which sister? Anna had/has two. Alex and Lindsey, if I am not mistaken.

They cannot mention Anna’s family from AMC, because of the Prospect Park lawsuit.

ahhhh Anna has sisters.. I did not that..
hmmm then he may not be of Duke DNA ..
but geez how far back are they digging to grab a sister?
The doc. is about 30? so going back 30 years?

Didnt know there was two…thats interesting to know.

@jimh.
Hey, Jimmy.
I double checked with my Gran and she said that Anna had two half sisters; Alex and Lindsey (Aidan Devane Turner’s) mother. The sisters were borne of three different mothers but had the same father.
Charlotte Devane was Alex’s mother, and she was a witch, according to my grandmother. LOL.
Charlotte did so many despicable things; my Gran speculates that Charlotte could have kidnapped Griffin as a baby. So, he could be offspring to one/any of the sisters.

Thank you and your gran for that info about Anna’s sisters…i didnt watch much of AMC when Anna was there and barely remember much of her storyline-so unlike me…but yet i can remember stuff from the 60s and 70s when i was soooooooo young…lol

@Tristan.
Hey, Tristan,
Of course you are right….I forgot all about that, Tristan. It would have been an ok premise, though, no. ……and I would have absorbed every gripping moment if Lindsey were not dead after all.
This PROSPECT PARK thing will forever be looming over the soap to the end. Enervating!!Too bad TPTB cannot hand pick a few characters from Anna’s past on AMC.

@Tristan.
Again, Tristan, I must say how correct you were. I was way off base thinking it had to do with AMC.
I cannot remember who linked Griffin to Duke on these boards, but that person was on right on target. Fitzgerald is an Irish name…..was Duke Irish or Scottish?

Is Helene even dead…she could leave Laura her wardrobe, Sam her brain, Alexis a bra and Nik learns he is bankrupt and has to move in a trailer park with Hayden/Rachel?whoever-whatever she is, Liz learns Jake is a clone and Jason learns he isnt Jason….lol

LOL

especially the trailor Park Nicholas… this will really test the allegiance of Hayden, now wouldn’t it

it seems the griffin munro mystery has taken hold and eclipsed… every one else… that being Jason; Hayden/Rachel; and ???

I must say… i’m intrigued to know… who Claudette is… ??? I think it’s Kiki real name ??? finally… “they are” ? getting to the mystery of Nina possibly being Kiki long lost child?

Hi, Patrick.
At the risk of patting my own back, lol…..as soon as a fuss was made by bringing focus to that glove in Nathan’s tux-side-pocket, I posted the fact that there was a mystery woman behind that glove. Someone else, I think Rose, responded by saying that whoever it was, still held meaning to him for having had it and by putting it back in his pocket without disposing of it. Good call, Rose…it does have meaning for Nathan, which will open a nasty, smelly can of worms.
I took a wild guess and I was right. Yeayyy!! LOL.
Nathan and his mother, talked about Claudette briefly, I believe. From the little I understood, Claudette was not a nice girl snd broke Nathan’s heart. It was left at that.
However, I do believe Claudette will show up in PC trying to ‘revive’ what, I hope, was a torrid, tumultuous , but soooo destructive love affair. As I previously mentioned….there is a love triangle waiting in the wings….

I wanted to post this….

I was soooo taken… with ; Felicia… what a mother tigress

just being so… doggone cute and upfront… without being confrontational…

Felicia brought Nathan…. this black poodle… LOL here’s Claudette

Here’s my daughter Miaxie.. we’re on to you

buck up

LOL

Nathan.. he’s in for the log haul right… those looks just stifle any misgivings at time

loved how Maxie was right on point… LOL waking / shaking him… who is Claudette

I love women for their sixth sense and wherewithal

its about Timely for Nathan and Maxie to flex some muscle and wing

he’s earned his stripe… and Maxie gets to reign… with her man… and at Crimson

love all the other things about GH

outside of Jason and Sam… and Sonny and Carly ; i’ll throw in Julexis

there’s plenty that the GH headwriters need to catapult

Felicia is a DREAM… w/Big MAc

You’re welcome, Jimmy. My grandmother is 75, with a sharp wit and memory….sometimes better than mine. I loved AMC, but I can’t remember details as well as she. I was young and carefree, Lol…..I had never heard of Charlotte or Lindsey until Gran mentioned them.
I thought that the only link GH and AMC had was Anna, Alex, and Aidan. Was Aidan ever on GH? To be honest, I thought he was Alex’s son not Lindsey’s.

I TRULY – want – some thing… any-thing… to MOVE Laura !!!!

why shouldn’t Helena… in all her magnanimous fortitude… salute Laura… and bequeath Laura with POWER !!!!

Genie Francis NEEDS to focus on herself!!!

which is simply put : GH !!!! forever and day.. give Laura a storyline…
besides being the queen of virtue and if she eats one more candy bar…. I’ll shuck GH
again

I want that Helena has stipulated.. that Nicholas and Laura WORK together… and reign as mother and son… and fight for ELQ and fortress WindeMear… and catapult the Cassadine Dynasty

I’m already so over Jason and Sam; and Carly and Sonny

why shouldn’t GH give the Cassadine Dynasty some reign and Power… argh! Laura … if she continues to be mother Theresa… sexless… with no imagination… no pull…

hey Patrick..

The Cassadine Dynasty is a true sop power family and the Casidiones were/are the spark that started all the big fires, some a 5 alarm..

GH needs the Cassadines back, like yesterday..
I was more than disappointed when reading Easton will once again be a doctor when he would/could be an awesome Cassidine!

No, no, no monsieur Patrick! ELQ needs to get back to its rightful owners, the Q’s! That is THEIR company, it has always bern a part if their story and I wouldn’t want to see Laura pulled in yet again to anothet of Nic’s

i’m just impatiently waiting out… story time… for Genie Francis

what’s it going to be ?????

fans were clamoring for her return… and SHE IS GOLD !

that being said… I don’t want her to be just the token voice of reason… and a dutiful grandmother

was hoping Helena would bequeath …and stipulate that perhaps .. the Cassadine fortune is not as ailing as Nicholas stated… and that this gives Nicholas more power and reign at his disposal…

I certainly don’t think Laura would be globetrotting wonder woman espionage.. as long as it’s to Amsterdam to tell AG to forget about showing up to win his 8th emmy

this is Laura Time… just playing the waiting game… did J and S ?? write for Genie Francis when she was Genevieve ??? gosh darned it… I loved Genie Francis playing Genevieve… what verve get go and sure of her appeal

The last thing I want GH to do with Laura, after promising that Genie is going to have a big storyline, is to have Helena’s bequest to Laura to send her off on some “adventure” – meaning we don’t see her onscreen for 3 months. This woman is soap royalty and has been ignored and maligned enough by TPTB and, in my opinion, certain actors who would throw her under the bus rather than allow her to remind them of the glory of LnL. Give Genie her due and do right by her finally.

Yes, “do right” by Genie!

I think you may be right about this ‘adventure’ of Laura’s ….or a wild goose chase, Nancy.
I surely hope this ‘key’ will not take her search of ‘whatever’ too far. Maybe keep her within the confines/perimeters of PC.
But, as I understand it, Laura is no shrinking violet….would she embark for parts unknown in search of that which the key will unlock? Pandora’s box, mayhap?

I cant help but think Griffin may know something about Carlos.

Please just give Laura a story! A great story! Not coming back til this happens.

When I first saw Griffin in scenes with Anna I thought he could be a younger brother. I do not know off all Anna’s family connections. I know FH appeared on All My Children as Anna’s twin Alex. Thus a nephew may not be far off.

Today GH was perfectly decent today! Save for fast forwarding through the Sonny scenes, I actually found myself watching every scene with interest.
My favorite? Why that would be Laura educating Hayden on the dynamics of the Gatsby and Daisy romance.
Thank you, Laura. Because yesterday it was driving me crazy (and well all know that is a short drive for me) when Lizzy and others read Hayden’s inscription on the first edition of The Great Gatsby. Really, what kind of idiot would defile a first edition of an enduring classic such as The Great Gatsby with such a stupid and insipid inscription? Moreover, what kind of moron would write,”To my Gatsby from your Daisy” as if this was a wonderful romance? Either Hayden is a tone deaf idiot or she is engaging in Freudian slippery.
But dear, sweet, and insightful Laura admonished Hayden for her foolery and educated her on the nature of Daisy and Gatsby. Daisy, asserted Laura, is based on a common weed, the daisy, which stinks and dies quickly. The daisy does not contain the more transcendent qualities of other flowers such as the rose and thusforth, is not worthy of Gatsby’s love. Moreover, it is Gatsby’s obsessional love for Daisy (a love which cannot ever be quenched because it’s predicated upon imaginary pinions) which leads to Gatsby’s death.
Laura tells Hayden that she will not allow her to become her son’s “Daisy.”
These lines were beautifully written and reflected an understanding of The Great Gatsby. Finally, these lines were beautifully delivered by Genie Frances who was pitch perfect in her delivery.

The only thing that bothered me about Laura’s description of Daisy’s as being a “weed” is that daisies were always Laura’s favorite flower. There was talk in the 80s and 90s stating that. Fine analogy for Hayden, but Laura wouldn’t equate daisies to that. Oh well, another insignificant detail of rewrites that bothers me.

Harry 1, I, too, loved it that Laura put Hayden’s in her place. Wish she had gone on to quote the line from The Great Gatsby about “careless” people leaving their messes for other people to clean up.”

That line would have been perfect, Nancy. Maybe it’s coming?
I had forgotten that the daisy was Laura’s favorite flower. I never cared for daisies myself.

Well said Harry!

Continued…another of Nic’s wrongdoings. What I WOULD like to see is Jason aligning himself with the Quartermaine’s his real family…and help them to take back what was stolen.

I too want a great story for Laura, nut not at the expense of losing the woman she’s always been…loving, supportive, wise…at the same time action oriented when need be. They can make her dynamic withouy corrupting her.

As for the Cassadines, they alwayd been the evil yet mesmerizing clan. Unfortunately the writers killed them off. Hopefully some old and new sill start spfinging up to up the edge again.

I totally concur with you here, Rebecca and I think this might happen

hi rebecca1

Jason and Dillan will work together to get ELQ back..
It is inevitable that ELQ will be returned to the Q’s..

The cassidine are Aliens or something, they can not die they are immortal. lol
A Cassidine is never dead, as in dead … lol
I really would love a Cassadine invasion !

I totally agree… that ELQ will be back in it’s rightful place… at the “Q”

I just find it too .. ho hum… at every thing Jason does… spins or weaves in to gold… and he is merely toying with Nicholas… which bugs me

which simply put… all the story for Nicholas… will go by the wayside… as it has been

who doesn’t want good story for; Nicholas and mom Laura… I like the angst Hayden brings…

it just smarts that Liz is asking Sam to NOT stop her investigation in to Rachel… which is interesting to a point…

OK… I had wanted my new superman Nicholas to keep manning up… argh! Jason cant have it all

PS: I really was taken aback… when Carly and Jason were in the “Q” crypt right after the sublime Jane Elliott… magnified Tracy forge onward and upward

when Jason ripped out his ??? headstone… and Carly should never have even been in their…. knowing her history with the Q and her alliance with Sonny… it just reeked of tasteless… once again… she’s given the task of being all that and sharing with her bff his past.

altho… fans recall that neither Sonny or Carly have yet to tell Jason.. how AJ was murdered.

wow… lots going on

I have to give both of you…Harry and Su…exrra credit for deciphering my many typos! I’m constantly posting from ny phone and by the time I realize ny delicate lil fingers have hit the wrong key they’ve magically hit send!

And I agree with both of you…who agree with me. 😉

Doesn’t Anna have a twin sister? I thought she was married to Dimitri’s brother on AMC??

Yes, Nicky. Anna has a twin, Alex and another sister, Lindsey, who has died. Aidan Devane is Lindsey’s son.

‘General Hospital’s’ Amanda Setton Talks Her Reaction, Scenes, and Co-Stars After Becoming a Daytime Emmy Nominee for the First Time (Exclusive)

Amanda Setton

When the nominations were announced for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards earlier this week, General Hospital fans were thrilled to see Amanda Setton’s name as one of this year’s Outstanding Supporting Actress nominees.

It marks the first time in her career that she has ever been nominated. Setton has played Brook Lynn Quartermaine since 2019. Soap viewers first saw her in the role of Kimberly Andrews on One Life to Live during her run from 2009-2011.

Amanda received her Daytime Emmy nomination for her emotional turn as Brook Lynn learned she had been lied to by her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) for years, after giving up her baby for adoption as a teen. Little did she know she had a secret son living with her this whole time at the Quartermaine mansion in Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza).

During an exclusive conversation live on Tuesday night, July 14, during the Michael Fairman Channel’s annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Special, she discussed her reaction to the news, her nominated reel and her GH co-stars.

GOING FOR EMMY GOLD

Setton explained how she found out she was a Emmy nominee! “Frank Valentini called me, our boss. It was such a beautiful moving moment. I’ve known Frank for 20 years and to share this with him, I’m indebted to him on a lot of levels. I was in the car with my husband. We were going for a hike. We got away for just a couple days, just the two of us. It was early in the morning and to share that moment with Frank, to share that moment with my husband, it was the best. We cried and I’m just so grateful.”

The Supporting Actress nominee shared what scenes she submitted: “My reel was obviously about the Gio storyline. It started with the scenes with Lulu (Alexa Havins) and shout out to Alexa! She’s the best. It’s when I first find out that she knows and that I had boy. Then, begging her not to tell Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and just to leave it alone, then into the scenes with Rena Sofer, shout out to her! She is the best. I love her. I spoke to her today. She deserved to also be nominated. They are the scenes right after I find out at the Nurses’ Ball, and right after Brooklyn finds out that Gio is her son, not her cousin. Then my reel ended with the scene with Gio in the kitchen when Brook Lynn’s first sees him after the Nurses’ Ball and she says, ‘We can work this out,’ and he’s like, ‘No, we can’t,” and he walks away. It was an amazing story and kudos to the writers.”

Photo: ABC

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SCENES

It is always important in the Emmy game to put together a submission, so that someone who doesn’t watch the show day to day, can grasp the story of what’s happening to your character. Setton explained how she went about assembling the choices for her scenes. “Between Michelle Henry (producer, GH) and Frank, they said, ‘You need to tell the story. Find the scenes that tell the story.” Once I did it was clear to all of us, the story has been told,” shared Amanda.

“Anyone who’s watching this reel can get a feel for the intensity of the story. I think after even the first scene where you’re just like, ‘Wait a minute! This girl had a baby? She didn’t know if it was a boy or girl?’ Now this nemesis of her wants to … ‘What’s happening? What’s going on? And then the mom knew the story? ‘ So by the end, your heart’s just broken for this girl.”

Initially, Amanda like the viewers were trying to figure out how GH would make sense of the story, where suddenly years later we find out Brook Lynn got pregnant at summer camp by Dante! Setton said, “Once they (the writers) started building it out and you saw all the different relationships playing out between her and her mother, her and Dante, her and Lulu, her and Gio, her and her husband Chase (Josh Swickard), even Tracy (Jane Elliot), and then the fallout of all of it, it just touched so many characters on the canvas. I think it was like a huge juicy burger for the fans to just take a big bite.”

AMANDA SETTON TALKS ON HER TV SON GIOVANNI MAZZA

In addition to Amanda, both Giovanni Mazza and Braedyn Bruner (Emma) landed their first ever nominations in the Emerging Talent category. Setton shared how she and Mazza have developed such a close bond.

“Gio and I are super close. Right from the start, we just hit it off.  He is such a delight. He’s so hardworking. He’s such an eager learner. He’s always looking to be better. He always wants to grow. That’s a huge testament to his work ethic,” explains Amanda. “He’s an amazing person, and over the last couple of years, we’ve had many deep conversations about work, about life, perspective, gratitude, values, a lot of different deep things. I could not be more thrilled for Gio and this moment for him. It is well deserved. He has worked so hard for it.  I really hope he wins. Although, I also love Braedyn!”

One of the most unforgettable moments of 2025 in the soaps is when Gio takes to the Nurses’ Ball stage after overhearing Lulu and Lois talk that he is the biological son of Brook Lynn and Dante. Ready to begin to play his violin, he smashes it pieces and storms off. Setton was in the scene and recalls, “That was wild. He did such a great job with that. That is not an easy moment to hit, pun intended. He nailed it.”

Photo: ABC

THE CONNECTION WITH JANE ELLIOT

On General Hospital, Brook Lynn is close with her ‘Granny,” the one and only Tracy Quartermaine, and in real life Amanda is very close with Jane Elliot, with whom she was able to share the news of her nomination. “First of all, this woman has become one of my closest friends.”

Amanda adds, I’m not exaggerating. I am confident to say she would say the same. We’ve become really close friends outside of work. We speak, almost every day.  We just went out to lunch last week. She’s become such a close person in my life over these last few years.  She’s such a leader. Jane’s a really special person in my life after my family. I wanted to share the news of this nomination with her and she was over the moon.”

HARD WORK PAID OFF

Getting a pat on the back from her peers is one of the more touching moments in Amanda’s career, as she explains: “I have to say we’re in the daytime world, so for us it feels so wonderful and so rich. But in the landscape of the entertainment industry, in daytime, we’re in the trenches. We work really hard. We have a ton of pages. We have a ton of really high stakes, dramatic work to try to do in a grounded, authentic way, continuously every day on television. Not that it’s thankless, because thank God we are employed actors on a network TV show, and we are also grateful. But, I’m not going to lie, and say it doesn’t feel good to just get a little ‘thank you’ or like a little, ‘I see your work.’ It feels fulfilling.”

You can check out the full live interview with Amanda Setton at the 2:24:26 mark during the Daytime Emmy Nominations Special Live below, which featured 13 newly-nominated actors sharing their reactions and what they submitted for their reels the landed them a nomination at the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

So, are you happy for Amanda that she finally secured her first ever Daytime Emmy nomination? Do you think she is one of the frontrunners for the gold for Outstanding Supporting Actress based on the emotional tale of Brook Lynn’s journey to learning she had a son and it was Gio Palmieri? GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Tells Danny: ‘The Place They Were Holding Me Was Bad, Really Bad’

Published

on

By

What happened to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) when he was captivity by the WSB? That is the question on many minds of General Hospital viewers, especially following the airing of the Tuesday, July 14 episode of the ABC daytime drama series, which also received a nomination for Outstanding Drama Series for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards yesterday.

In story and in the pick-up of Monday’s episode, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) comes face to face with his father at the Quartermaine boathouse. Jason assures his son that he is home for good. However, Jason is confused why the WSB suddenly released him from Jakarta in the last 48 hours.

Danny goes in on his father for taking the fall for Cullum’s shooting when it was Rocco who shot the now deceased WSB director. Jason tried to explain he had to make a last minute decision and didn’t want Rocco’s life to be ruined by shooting another man.

Courtesy/ABC

JASON WANTS TO TAKE A SHORT TRIP WITH DANNY

Jason promised Danny that from now on, he is his top priority, and that time away has given him a new perspective. When Danny tries to get more intel from his dad on what he went through, all Jason would say is, “The place they were holding me was bad, really bad.”

Danny admits that the person he told that Rocco shot Cullum was Port Charles bureau chief, Jack Brennan, but he told him that WSB would want Danny to drop the whole thing, and just leave it be now that Cullum is dead.

TRACY SEES JASON

Suddenly, Tracy (Jane Elliot) shows up and is happy to see that Jason has resurfaced saying she knew he would be back. As she welcomed him home, Jason has a favor to ask her.

Next, he proposes much to Danny’s happiness, that he and his son are going to away together for a few days to catch up on things. So, that there is no issue, Jason asks if Tracy can please tell Alexis that he has returned to Port Charles and anyone else that would need to know, so they are not concerned for Danny’s welfare and that they know he is with his dad. Tracy agrees, and she and Jason share a hug.

Now the question is, what happened to Jason? We know his face is beaten up. We saw in flashbacks he was held in a cell and we can see he had been experiencing what seems like PTSD from being in captivity.

Previously, GH co-head writer, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten previewed to Soap Opera Digest on Jason’s return, “His imprisonment has had a profound effect on his outlook and how he intends to conduct the rest of his life. His decision will have big implications for Danny, Britt, the Quartermaines, Anna and especially Sonny.”

So, what do you think happened to Jason while being held by the WSB? Did something horrific occur? Will Jason tell Sonny he can no longer work for him so he no longer puts himself or his family in any kind of danger? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
