Later, as Sonny, Jax, and Shawn pursue Jerry, McBain and Dante open the case – and discover a bomb. Jason and Elizabeth consider the possibility that Sam’s baby is still alive. Later, Jason swears he will get to the truth of what happened. Meanwhile Steve apologizes to Sam for Heather, and Sam has an emotional moment when she holds a baby.  Heather spends time with Victor, Jr., and tells Tea she will be Victor’s nanny.

McBain and Dante discover that the antiserum is rigged to explode.  Lulu arrives, unwilling to be apart from her husband.  Jerry hurries to escape with Alexis, unaware Sonny and Jax are close behind.  Desperate Jerry holds a gun on Jax and reveals his ultimate motivation.  Sonny endeavors to rescue Jax; in the ensuing a gunfight, a gas line is torn open and sparked. Later, the boat goes up in flames with Jerry, Jax and Sonny on board – and there is an explosion. Todd tries to kill Johnny secretly but is interrupted. At the hospital, Johnny tries to confess everything to Carly. Tracy wants to give Edward the counteragent — but Edward decides to give his dose to Emma.

While waiting for either the delivery of a cure or for the end to come, Jason tells Monica that the blood records suggest the baby who died wasn’t Sam’s.  Meanwhile, Sam tells Molly about the “what if” scenarios she shared with Jason, but admits those were fantasies.  Molly presses her sister to tell her which man she’d choose if they live, Jason or John.  At the same time, Elizabeth admits to Steve the depth of her feelings for Jason. Kate and Steve find Olivia on the hospital roof and think she’s about to jump from the ledge.  Olivia has another strange hallucination that again proves to be an accurate premonition.

Sonny thinks Jax is dead and so he tries to comfort Carly, only for Jax to arrive in the flesh! Jax tells Carly that Todd and Johnny are lying to her. Meanwhile, Todd makes sure that Johnny continues to keep their agreement. Jason and Spinelli discuss his hunch that Sam’s baby may still be alive. Meanwhile, Sam wonders if she should follow through with divorcing Jason. Learning of Kristina and Trey’s marriage from Michael, Sonny blasts his daughter. Sonny demands to meet Trey’s father. Meanwhile, Joe tells Trey not to annul his marriage yet – just as Starr arrives. Tracy and Joe make love. Later, she discovers Joe’s medal with the initials: JFS. Spinelli checks on Maxie – she hopes this means they are friends again, but he says no. Felicia gives her daughter some much-needed advice.

Elizabeth takes Jason home and surprises him with a birthday celebration and a kiss, admitting she has feelings for him, just as Sam arrives. Sonny and Alexis tackle Kristina over her sudden marriage to Trey. Meanwhile, Kate and Trey encounter one another, and later, she is hit hard when she spies Trey’s medal necklace with initials: JMS.  Starr confronts Joe on his rumored past with Sonny, but he denies it. After he leaves, Starr tells Michael she is suspicious of Trey’s dad.  Tracy wants to know Joe’s real name and identity.  Spinelli makes friends with a new lab assistant, Ellie, as he uncovers more evidence to support Jason’s belief about Sam’s baby.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: What’s Up With Elizabeth?

Friday’s episode of General Hospital, finally moved the story of the haunting of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) along a bit, after it has been a very slow build for the audience. As it turns out, and with the new developments, it appears that Liz has been going in and out of a catatonic state, while sleeping walking.

With a tip from Violet (Jophielle Love), Finn (Michael Easton), who is chatting with Gregory (Gregory Harrison), recalls Liz was having trouble sleeping and was that she given a sleeping aid. He thinks he may be on to something so he decides to go to Liz’s house to talk to her.

Meanwhile, Liz comes to her house and tears Finn and Violet out of the picture that Violet drew, and then gets a scissors and starts cutting pieces off of the drawing, bit by bit.

Cameron (William Lipton) comes home and see his mother.  She does not respond to him and appears in a trance-like state. He is getting more upset by the moment, and then Finn arrives on the scene.

Finn is able to get the scissors from Liz, and also get her to snap out of her trance.  Liz talks with Finn and wonders what is happening? She doesn’t even remember how she got home.  When Cameron fills Liz in on what she was doing … cutting up the drawing and all … Finn tells Liz he believes she is the one who is haunting herself.

In tears, if what Finn is claiming is true, then it is she who is responsible for slashing her dress, setting fire to Franco’s studio, and hitting Chase over the head.  In that moment, a teary-eyed Liz recognizes that something is terribly wrong, saying, “What’s happening to me?”

Finn promises Liz they will get to the bottom of this as Cameron looks on.

So, what is happening to Liz and why? Is this just a case of another sleeping pill storyline on soaps, where someone does not recall their actions or where they are going in the middle of the night a la Nighttime Hope on DAYS? Is someone controlling Liz to make her do these things?  Is something else physically wrong with Liz causing her behavior? Tabyana Ali Makes Her Debut As General Hospital’s New Trina

Friday’s, March 25th episode of General Hospital, brought with it the on-screen debut of Tabyana Ali as Trina Robinson.  As viewers know, Ali replaced popular actress Sydney Mikayla in the role.

Mikayla had decided to leave the ABC daytime drama series to go to college full-time.  With that, GH auditioned her replacement and Tabyana won the part.

In her debut episode, Ali was thrown into the mix with key characters and actors in Trina’s storyline including parents, Portia (Brook Kerr) and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

Additionally, Tabyana appeared opposite, Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer), where Trina gave the guy a giant brush-off, and later had a run-in with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Cameron (William Lipton) over everyone believing Trina is responsible for the video showing Joss and Cam making love going viral and in the their classroom.  Of course, the audience knows Esme (Avery Pohl) is framing Trina for it.

So, what were your first impressions of Tabyana as NuTrina? Let us know in the comment section, but first check out Ali in scenes with Eden McCoy below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: The Ryan and Esme Connection Revealed

Putting the ‘creep’ into some scenes with a big revelation had soap fans chatting on the Twitterverse yesterday and today. On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, viewers learned what some had suspected that it appears that evil Esme (Avery Pohl) is actually evil Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) daughter.

It call came out when Esme, while at Spring Ridge, sneaks into Ryan’s room and sort of admonishes him for speaking out loud where people could hear him, when for months he has been feigning locked-in syndrome, unable to talk, and blew all their months of plotting,

Then, Ryan says, “Actually, I was thinking about you and how you’ve failed me.”  Ryan reveals the plot was about breaking up Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava (Maura West), and she’s been wasting time on Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and the teen scene drama.  Esme drops to her knees and begs ‘daddy’ to believe in her and she adds, “that he likes it when she calls him ‘daddy”.  Ryan responds, “Be careful what you wish for.”

Esme goes on the offensive and threatens to tell Ryan’s twin, Kevin, that he’s been able to talk for months. Next, Ryan grabs Esme arms and reminds her that he is the one in control here and calling the shots … not her.

Ryan insists it’s time for them to go back to the objective, Ava.  He tells Esme she needs to get on the good side of Spencer’s parents, especially Spencer’s dad, Nikolas.

“You know what they say, like father like son,” Ryan gloats.  Esme is at first not sure where this is going, but then seems to smirk.

In the end, Ryan tells Esme she will get everything her heart desires.  Next, Ryan stands up out of his wheelchair and tells her that what’s his is hers … and then adds, “My beautiful, gifted daughter.”  We fade to black.

So, if Esme is Ryan’s bio-daughter who is Esme’s mother … or is Ryan lying to Esme to get her to do more of his dirty work? Share your thoughts on the scenes via the comment section below.
