Jack, Abby, and Nikki prepare for the Abbott Memorial Day pool party and barbeque. Sarge invites Harmony to attend a barbeque with him and she accepts. She declines when she learns it’s at the Abbott home. She opens up to Sarge about the situation with Tucker and Ashley. Paul informs Avery that he is worried that Ricky may have done something to prevent his meeting with Craig Hunt. Meanwhile, Eden approaches Daisy and demands to know how she could sublet her apartment to Ricky. When Eden learns Noah has no place to stay, she invites Noah to move into her apartment. Daisy and Ricky break into Phyllis’ house.

Later, Daniel realizes that Lucy’s pacifier is missing and decides to head over to Phyllis’. Christine and Danny discuss the irony that Phyllis’ son is in the same situation she caused for them years ago. Passion takes over as Danny and Christine make love. After making love, they wistfully wonder why things never worked out for them.

At the Abbott pool party, Noah hesitates to accept Eden’s offer to become her roommate. When Eden updates Noah on Ricky, he agrees to move in for a short while. Meanwhile, Danny is irritated that Phyllis didn’t inform Paul about his strange interview with Ricky. Paul advises everyone that his son may be dangerous. Daisy and Ricky search Phyllis’ apartment when Daniel arrives. They stay hidden while Daniel finds Lucy’s pacifier and exits. Ricky orders Daisy to make another copy of Phyllis’ key on her way back to the party. At the Abbott’s, Daisy panics when she learns that Phyllis has gone home already. Meanwhile, Phyllis is unable to find her apartment key and heads back to the Abbott home. Daisy pretends to find it on the floor. Ricky researches Dr. Tim Reid on the internet. He places a call to Tim and says that he’s working on a book about Phyllis. Tim refuses to speak about Phyllis. Paul desperately asks Christine to help him obtain the autopsy report from Rachel’s death. He’s stunned to learn that a man matching Craig Hunt’s description has died in a car accident. Jack informs Kyle that he’s engaged to Nikki. Kyle is upset that his dad has rushed into marriage with Nikki, but he won’t try to stop the wedding. Michael receives a job offer to be the new District Attorney, which Lauren is against.

Danny shares his fears about Daniel’s marriage to Daisy. Daisy returns and Danny says goodbye to his son and daughter-in-law. Later, Daisy tries to lure Daniel into bed, but he pulls away. She warns him that their marriage needs to include sex if he wants to see his daughter. Paul informs Christine that Craig Hunt died in a car accident. Christine advises him not to jump to conclusions, as there is no proof Ricky was involved. Later, Christine informs Paul that Rachel died the same way that Isabella tried to kill Christine. Christine bumps into Danny at the GCAC and is surprised to hear he’s leaving town today. Ricky tries to convince Tim to discuss Phyllis. Tim is reluctant to talk until Ricky offers him a bottle of expensive wine. When Tim leaves the room, Ricky digs through some boxes and steals Phyllis’ file. Avery encourages Michael to accept the position, which annoys Lauren. Later, Michael calls the mayor to accept the job. However, he insists that Heather Stevens must be re-hired. Avery is stunned when Phyllis asks her to be maid of honor at her wedding. She happily accepts.

Phyllis asks Michael for help legal advice, but he responds that he can’t because he is about to become interim District Attorney. Paul informs Avery that his source for information about Ricky just died in a car accident. Avery points out that the evidence points to a DUI, but Paul is still concerned that Ricky might be involved. At his apartment, Ricky peruses Phyllis’ psychiatric file. Ricky is interrupted when Paul arrives. Ricky offers some insincere conversation and shows him the door. Later, Dr. Reid advises Ricky to look into Phyllis’ activities around Christmas of 1994. Danny stops by the GCAC to say goodbye to Christine. They express their sadness at being apart, and he asks her to go on tour with him. Christine sadly states that they missed their chance to be together, and they share an emotional farewell kiss. Phyllis meets with Avery and asks her for legal help with Daniel, and Avery agrees. Avery also advises Phyllis to stay away from Ricky. Later, Phyllis confesses her history with Danny to Avery. At Gloworm, Billy and Victoria are annoyed when Victor enters with Sharon on his arm. Billy makes a snide comment to Victor, who says that he will never change his negative opinion of Billy. Meanwhile, Sharon approaches Victoria and asks for a truce. After Victoria insults Sharon, Sharon informs her that she slept with Billy. Later, Victoria confronts Billy about sleeping with Sharon. At the ranch, Victor gets a call from Victoria who informs him that Sharon and Billy slept together. Sharon enters from the kitchen and Victor coldly asks her to leave.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Anna Goes Blind … What Is The Cause? Franco Is Kicked To The Curb As “Kevin’s” Patient

Viewers of ABC’s General Hospital were in for a twist on Friday’s episode, when Anna Devane suddenly and inexplicably goes blind!  It is a terrifying moment for Anna and throughout the first part of this new arc, played beautifully by Finola Hughes.

But what is the cause of her sudden blindness? After Anna is brought to ‘General Hospital’ by her son, Peter (Wes Ramsey), and Finn (Michael Easton) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) are there to try to calm her down and to try to figure out what is wrong with her, Griffin runs some tests.

Meanwhile, Griffin and Finn get into a tiff over Griffin’s lack of bedside manner and his losing his faith. Griffin says its all now about the data, as he is still reeling from Kiki’s murder.

Later, Griffin reveals to Finn and Anna that the tests show that she has experienced a vitreous hemorrhage.  However, he doesn’t know what caused this … or if her vision can be restored.

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, GH co-head writer, Shelly Altman previews of this story for Anna, “What has happened to Anna will lead us to uncover a mystery that affects not only Anna, but several surprisingly unrelated people.”

Meanwhile, Peter meets up with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at Kelly’s and tells him what happened to Anna and that she suddenly went blind, but to stay away from his mother.. He also has a warning for Valentin, that whatever Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has on him will come back to bite him sooner than later, and we all know that Valentin hired Sasha to pose as Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) long-lost daughter, and Obrecht knows it!

And, Franco (Roger Howarth) just may trip upon the lock box in Kevin’s office, that holds the clues to everyone Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) has murdered!  How does that come about? After, Franco runs into a gun-toting Ava (Maura West) on the pier, “Kevin” shows up.  He tells Franco he can no longer be his doctor and he will refer him to someone else.  Franco does not want to end his therapy with Dr. Collins, but it’s of no use in changing “Kevin’s” mind.

When Franco makes his exit, Ryan tells Ava that they should leave Port Charles together and never look back.  Then, Franco breaks in to Kevin’s office at GH, and goes looking for his patient file and that is where we see the lock box.  Will Franco figure out what is going down?

So, what do you think is happening to Anna and why?  Is Franco now in dire straits if Ryan finds him rummaging through “Kevin’s” office?  Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Hope and Liam Grieve The Loss Of Baby Beth With Their Families By Their Side

On Wednesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, the Forresters, Spencers, and Logans gathered at Eric’s to support their children, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton), who are trying to cope with the loss of their baby girl, Beth.

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is also grief-stricken for both Liam and Hope, and feeling probably both lucky and guilty that her daughter Kelly is alive, although the little girl has a fever.  Promising to help Hope though this, Steffy cries and they hug.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) watches on as Taylor (Hunter Tylo) also hugs Hope, and who also gives some information for a support group and counseling to Hope, if she should decide to go.

As Bill (Don Diamont), Katie (Heather Tom), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Eric (John McCook), Quinn (Rena Sofer) and others sit with Liam and Hope, in a heart-tugging moment, Liam thanks everyone for coming and being their for Hope … and for him.

When Hope addresses the room, she is sobbing holding the photo of the ultrasound of her daughter; saying she still feels her presence all around her.  Out loud she says, “Liam and I love you so much, baby girl.  We will love and cherish you forever.”

But as viewers are noting; something major is amiss, and on Wednesday’s episode, there was a key scene where Reese (Wayne Brady) flashes back to delivering Hope’s baby on Catalina Island looking very upset.  Later, Taylor gets call from Reese at the family gathering saying he wants to see her!

Now, watch the final moments of yesterday’s The Bold and the Beautiful below.  Let us know what you think of the storyline and the performances … and what does Reese want to see Taylor about?  Hmmm.  Comment below.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Hope’s Baby Dies, But Something Is Not Quite Right With How This Went Down

If you caught Friday’s 8000th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, all signs point to something is clearly amiss about what happened to Hope’s baby.  In story, stranded on Catalina Island when she goes into labor, Hope (Annika Noelle) is giving birth to her baby with none other Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) being the only doctor around to assist her, or does he?  But what viewers see is that as she is pushing to deliver her baby, Hope passes out.  Liam (Scott Clifton) finally arrives via a helicopter to learn that the baby died, and now he must tell Hope.

Liam has to find a way to break the news.  After repeatedly pleading to see her baby girl, named Beth, Liam finally tells her the baby didn’t make it.  Hope cries out as she screams for Dr. Buckingham. When he appears he has a dead baby wrapped in a blanket.  He tells the duo that there was a placental abruption that caused the death, and then leaves the two alone.  Hope is in horrific anguish, as Liam holds on to his wife, gut-punched.

Now, let’s look at a few points that happened that make this the perfect set-up for a baby switch; as the baby could have been sold into the black market since Dr. Buckingham was needing to come up with $200,000 in debt he owed, and in order to keep anything happening to his daughter, Zoe (Kiara Barnes).

In addition, the Dr. told a young woman patient it “wasn’t her fault” and urges her to ‘be careful out there” in the bad weather, before rejoining Hope who is going into heavy labor.  Meanwhile, Buckingham received a photo of Zoe from a guy asking the doctor, if her life is worth $200,000? Reese calls Zoe to make sure she was alright and was relieved that she was.

Reese then calls the thug, or underworld figure, and warns him to leave his daughter alone.  But the guy hangs up on him.  Hope gets Liam’s text that he is on his way to meet her, and she gives Buckingham the update.  It’s at that point she notices the doctor seems distracted, then he urges her to push.   Next, Hope passes out.

So will Taylor (Hunter Tylo) be caught up in all of this?  Is the baby alive?  If so, who will ultimately end up raising Beth?   As previewed by B&B head writer, and executive producer Brad Bell, today’s event would have long-lasting ramifications for the entire canvas.

So, what did you think about Hope losing her baby?  Where do you think the baby is? Comment below.   But first check out the last few minutes from today’s pivotal episode.
