On Sunday night when the first envelope of the evening was opened up during the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, former General Hospital cast member, Sean Blakemore (Shawn Butler) was announced as the winner of the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category.  Blakemore was MIA and so Vinessa Antoine (Jordan, GH) went up to the stage to accept on his behalf.

However, on Monday’s The Talk annual Emmy After-Party episode, Blakemore appeared dressed in a tux and was joined by Supporting Actress winner, former Y&R cast member, Jessica Collins (Ex-Avery).   During their segment the ladies of the panel got the lowdown from Blakemore – he happened to have just landed in Los Angeles at the time his category came up and was in the car, when he learned of his victory.   Sean has been shooting Devious Maids in Atlanta.

During The Talk, Blakemore got a few moments to give an acceptance speech.  Here’s what he shared:  “Above all things I thank God first.  I have to thank the Emmys for granting me with this gift, and I really appreciate it.  I have to thank Jill (Farren) Phelps who created this role for me a little over four years ago, and above all next to God for me, my family.  My mom, my brothers and sisters, and my incredibly limitless supportive wife and daughter, thank you.  I love you guys.  Thank you.”   Sean also recalled that he was nominated the first year he was on GH and his last, which made the win extra special for him.

HIs acceptance speech was the only one seen on TV. How ironic.

Love them both but neither of them are on these shows anymore. I think that Sean is on Devious Maids now. I would love to see Jessica on another soap.

GH ‘One Aftershock After Another’ Promo : Fayden’s Daughter, Ava Stalked, Judge Rules On Franco

This week and in October, General Hospital looks to be ramping up some storylines that will have major consequences for the citizens of Port Charles.

In the latest promo for the ABC daytime drama series, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) seems to reveal that the little girl in the hospital bed is Finn’s (Michael Easton) bio-child.  The little girl seen in the promo is young actress, Jophielle Love.

Elsewhere, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) wants Ava (Maura West), what will his next move be even if he is supposedly behind bars? Ava is frightened and says she is being stalked.  She also has been sipping one too many martinis lately to calm her nerves.  Will Halloween horrors come Ava’s way?

Meanwhile, the judge is ready to rule in the competency of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) who has been mind-mapped with Drew’s memories.  How will the decision impact the lives of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Cameron (William Lipton), Kim (Tamara Braun) and more?

Watch the promo below  Then, let us know how you think these three storylines will play out via the comment section below by sharing your theories.

Katelyn MacMullen Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary On GH; Now, What Will Happen When Willow Finds Out The Truth About Wiley?

Since Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) first appeared on the General Hospital canvas as the school teacher who needed to let Charlotte’s (Scarlett Fernandez) parents (Valentin, Nina and Lulu) know of her bullying tactic sat school, the character has become quite intertwined to others in Port Charles.

We eventually learned that Willow shared a dark past with the late Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), and even had his child, but never told him about it.  Later, Willow seem to get the attention of two young gentlemen; Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

As of now, Chase and Willow look to be quite the happy couple.  But, what will happen when Willow learns the devastating truth- that the little boy she gave up -that is being raised by Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) isn’t really hers.  In fact, her son died when Brad took Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) baby to replace the baby that died.

In a post on her Instagram, Katelyn MacMullen shared that it’s hard to believe a year has past since her debut on the ABC soap opera expressing gratitude: “It’s been a year since I’ve joined this incredible cast! I love this show so much, and every single person involved. I’m so grateful 🖤 It’s been a pretty crazy ride for Willow so far, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it 🌚 Thank you @generalhospitalabc !! 🙏 #GH #oneyearanniversary”
