Six-time Daytime Emmy winner, Anthony Geary (Luke) of General Hospital has been cast in a very exciting new project which is about to begin production.  The series is a dark romantic comedy for the web titled, Alice & the Monster!

The premise of the web series is:  It centers around Alice Hughes, whose life is going great – success in her job, great friends, a new romance – when she’s blindsided by a diagnosis of cancer. She’s faced with a decision: play out the wonderful things happening in her life in what short time she has left, or undergo a dangerous treatment and long rehab, and risk losing everything she’s gained for a slim chance at longer life.  Alice & the Monster mixes drama, romance and humor as Alice struggles to make this monumental decision amid the reactions her cancer elicits from the people around her.

Geary will play George, who is a cancer survivor and Alice’s mentor and father figure. Production will run from February through March 2012, with a tentative release scheduled for later in the year.

This new series, Alice and the Monster, sounds very compelling. I’m looking forward to viewing and watching the story unfold, and I must say the fact that Anthony Geary will be one of the cast members makes this even more of a must see for me!

I am confused… if Venice, The Bay, and now Alice & the Monster, can get a show up and running on the web… what the heck was Prospect Park’s problem in getting One Life To Live up and running???

that is a very good question,Id like to know why, there are several soaps on the web.there would be alot of room for one life to live.I will never understand what p p was going to do,sometimes I think they were there to shut the soap fans up ,because they were working with abc .

will be very interesting seeing “Luke” in another role.

Sounds like Tony is looking for stories of substance, unlike what he gets on GH. I look forward to see him. He is an outstanding actor!

Jessica Tuck Returns This Week To General Hospital

There will be a Cassandra Pierce sighting in Port Charles, which means one of the best actresses we know, Jessica Tuck, will be back on your screens this week on ABC’s General Hospital.

Tuck, who became soap-famous for her role as Megan on One Life to Live from 1988-1992 and then went on to primetime television roles returns to the canvas as the evil Cassandra, a role she debuted on GH back in 2017.  Viewers last saw her pop during Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha’s (Sofia Matteson)vacation.

But this time look for Tuck to mix-it up with GH icon Genie Francis (Laura) in some major showdown scenes, when she holds the mayor and Curtis (Donnell Turner) at gunpoint on the Haunted Star.  Will these two be able to get the on-the-run villainess locked up for good? Don’t necessarily count on it.

Of course, a man who both Cassandra and Laura have an interest in bringing down, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) plays heavy into the story. But will Cassandra do a double-cross of a double-cross? Who else may get a dose of something potentially lethal that she has been concocting?

Jessica told Soap Opera Digest that when she found out she would be working with Genie Francis; “I was like Woo-hoo! Hot diggity!  I mean, like many people, I have been a fan of hers forever and ever and ever.  It was fun to meet the person behind the character I’ve gotten to know.”
