As General Hospital viewers witnessed on Friday’s cliffhanger, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) once again, escaped law enforcement and the super spies and has now kidnapped his baby daughter, Louise and has gone on the run.

This leaves Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) with the heartbreaking task of having to tell Maxie (Kirsten Storms) that her baby is gone from the Q’s, and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) making a solemn promise in the latest promo from ABC for this week’s action on GH.

Dante says, “There’s no way Peter’s getting away with it this time.”  Will this finally be the end of his reign of terror?

Watch the latest GH promo entitled “The Bad Guy” below.

Then weigh-in: Do you think this plot point will lead to Peter’s death or murder … or, will Peter be brought to justice only to live another day? Share your theories via the comment section.

Complete the mission, Dante!! Send Heiny back to Hell!!

Satan
OMG, wouldn’t that be a miracle? Or someone else performing a card trick. It would be great if they could end him that way, and so ironic.

Yeah… I’m in Hell, so there’s gotta be a deck of Tarot cards around here somewhere… let me check….

Well, the card didn’t work with Drew, maybe Liesel will get there in time to use her Bic pen on Dante.

I’d love to see Brooklyn kill Peter or Valentine They have lost and have to give up so much and isn’t Valentine in the car. He could save Charlotte and Louise He loves them both so much

Since nobody else seems up to the job (Sonny is too busy trying to look like the Cheshire Cat from “ALICE’S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND” ) maybe Louise will off Peter Puke. As for Dante and his giggle-inducing threats about Hell… I’ll let Satan field that one.

Perhaps marlena or whatever character possessed by Satan can take Peter to Days!

Nah, Salem’s still mad at me for giving Nick & Charlie a day pass out of Hell last Halloween. I’m not going to subject them to Whiny Heiny!

Hopefully! This story has dragged out way too long. Peter needs to go, for good this time. And while last year I had hoped for a whodunit murder story after Peter killed Franco, at this point I just want everyone on the canvas to team up and kill Peter together. If anyone deserves it, it’s Peter. But considering he’s Faison’s son, GH will probably find a way to make his death not “final” and leave the door open for his return at some point in the future. With Helena and Faison both dead, who will GH’s new recurring villain be?

Take Peter out Dante and bring Louise home to Maxie.

Ok, after today I am done with GH for some time. This BS sympathy for Nina is nauseating. The heifer know where Sonny was and kept her mouth ahut! Didn’t give a damn about his family, just her feelings for a fake man! She also screwed over Jax. Now, she got the roll in hay that she so desperately wanted. But, there is one thing she should have realized, that the end game is always Sonny & Carly. She should ask Brenda, Alexis and so many countries others!

I am team Nina 100%! I just think Sonny isn’t worth it, since he is such a selfish brat and acts like a ten year old petulant child. He’s also dangerous and not in a good way for everybody in his orbit.

Here’s hoping for a permanent end to that awful couple Sonny & Carly! The two most despicable characters on daytime!

I agree with you about Sonny, but Nina has quite a nasty past as well. L

I liked Sonny and Carly as a couple. As far as being team Nina, have you looked at her despicable past? But I guess we all can love our favorite awful characters.

I agree, Lew—we should feel no pity for Nina. What she did is inexcusable and no amount of regrets will ( or should ) ever be enough. It was mean, unforgivable and irresponsible.
Carly is no innocent babe in the woods either–look what she did to AJ.
I know that my reasoning may be somewhat skewed here ( I admit it), but my antipathy for two-faced, criminally-minded Carly is so strong, that Nina’s horrible behavior pales in comparison. I am not saying I am right—but, that’s where my mind is. LOL.
Also, Nina has a smashing body. No heifer here. Carly, on the other hand…..
Actually, I am sick of this entire story and the three of them, as well—and of course, Peter. I won’t even go into bashing Victor—-
You’re right–GH has become unwatchable. I’ve missed so many episodes—I’ve finally watched yesterday and today—-

Celia dear, I felt bad for Nina…until now. WHY is such a smart, accomplished, well-off, beautiful woman choosing this pile of depression AKA Sonny with his new Cheshire Cat grin. Another bad move, Nina. And yes, the show is terrible right now. But you gotta love how consistently dim Dante is. While Maxie was explaining the Bailey/Louise debacle (more great work from Kirsten Storms & Amanda Setton), Dante leers over at Chase with that “you knew about this?” look. Won’t be surprised if he arrests Chase for perpetrating a fraud on Poor Peter Puke! Hey, that new bartender Johnny at Charlie’s is really cute, too. Good hire, Phyllis..and ABC, too.

Hey, there—I missed the new hire—missed many eps.
I do agree with you about everything. I did comment on Sonny, Nina, Carly etc…but, my post did not make it. I suppose precious Sonny needs to be upheld, not abased.
Something else which struck me as so farcical, today, was seeing Sonny in the Chapel. Really? Mafiosi are irreverent!!
I am probably bore you a little more–but, here it goes.

Oops—was interrupted by my son—needed help in Social Studies…
As I was trying to say, perhaps I ring the same bell all the time and bore you, but I really do not understand why Carly and Sonny constantly take center stage.
However, I am truly glad I have been spared scenes with Michael and Willow for a few days!!

Good to hear from you Celia! Your post is spot on! Hoping this storyline ends soon, but I doubt it.

Well, my friend—I will pull all my hair out if the Peter story isn’t over soon. LOL
Sonny? I am so used to seeing this character being exalted everywhichway, with so many storylines, that I just shrug and keep going.
It is a soap, and the majority of viewers propably love the character, flaws and all. Therefore, he must remain relevant. Nevertheless, make him relevant some other way and not a symbol of sexuality—as far as I’m concerned, any woman, young, in-between, or older who pines or salivates for Sonny must be desperate.
I definitely do not intend to insult men—but let’s be real. A woman is viable until she’s on her deathbed—but men?? It’s a natural phenomenon—stuff happens—.that’s nature taking over. C’est la vie.
Yes, it’s fiction. But, even fiction has a modicum of reality—this Sonny-He-Man portrayal is over-the-top and fantastical. Sonny has more stamina and gets more action than a 20-year old. With all the women he’s bedded (and then some), it’a wonder a certain anatomical part of him hasn’t “dropped dead” yet. Oops—So naughty of me—LOL.
Besides, he is no Sean Connery, or John Schneider, whom even in their older years are still hot. ( Connery was RIP).
Thank you for your reply, Lew—and so happy to see you’re doing well—as everyone here. It’s been tough for many of us.
Be safe❤️

Peter needs to get caught and Anna needs to finish him off

Louisa Crosby
I think the pleasure should be given to the person he hurt the most. Then again they might not want Louise growing up to learn that her mother killed her father, no matter how bad he was. I just hope there is no doubt that we all know he’s dead and no possible way he’ll ever return.

Please GH: put us out of our misery and FINALLY get rid of Peter once and for all!!! I will dance a happy dance on his grave! (; It is so beyond time for Peter to leave the show and let’s make it PERMANENT this time!

Between Babies Louise and Liam on GH, Baby Dom on Y&R and all the baby drama on B&B over the last while and now I saw Grandma kissing Santa, I’ve reached the point I don’t care anymore. Don’t like to see kids used in the way these soaps are using them for storylines.

rose, right you are!

rose
About these babies. On GH, I thought Ned and Olivia went overboard with their goodbyes to Louise/Bailey. Never saw them around her hardly ever.
Over in Genoa City, I was very surprised when Devon got the good news of being 100% bone marrow compatible with baby Dom. All the other soap blogs have been saying that he was most likely not the bio dad.

I just hope when they find him to get rid of Peter for I’m already tired of him escaping.

Peter is going to be murdered and then the task to see who did it begins.

I agree. But the task will be to find someone who actually cares that Peter has been dealt with permanently.

I think Laura, as the mayor, will probably care.

She has to know who to give the “key to the city” to. Or whatever trophy they give out in Port Charles for heroic behavior.

Once again, the baby was taken from Jax’s beach house, where BLQ & Chase recently moved in – not the Q mansion. Ned complained about them moving out on Monday’s episode as soon as he heard the baby was kidnapped.

With Ramsey off-contract, hopefully this storyline is about to finally wrap up.

Let bad acting poor bad guy Peter take crazy delusional Nina with him to a planet far far away. But, leave Bailey behind.

Thank you!!!!

SOMEONE better stop Henrik Faison. I’m loving how intense this storyline has become, though. I’m just hopeful Maxie decides to keep the name Bailey. I don’t hate the name Louise but, in comparison, Bailey is a stronger name. Bailey Jones > Louise Jones.

Anytime there is a prison transport and they show it, you know damn well it will NOT go off without an escape, shootings and loved ones ending up at GH! I dont mind Peter. The problem is he is Faison’s son and he couldnt hold a candle to Faison. Anders was pure evil with a tiny heart. Peter is weak and the acting is terrible. Wes can act but he would be better as a good guy. His over the top performances as Peter gives soaps a bad name!

Hello again, “Sir Timmmbo!” It’s been an absolute age….hope you have been well! I totally concur with you regarding Peter’s complete failure as a credible Henrik….there is utterly no way that such a dull dud of a character could be the actual fruit of the freaky Faison’s loins!!! Perhaps it’s because of the gap between the vastly different cultures of the two actors??? I’ve just been telling CeeCee about Anders Hove’s many tantalizingly-twisted turns I have come across in the ScandiNoir genre that is native to his home countries. (I say that in the “plural” due to the fact that he is actually a born Greenlander who later took up residence in Denmark and has also been seen in popularly-known programs emanating from both Sweden and Norway in addition to Danish and American productions…) Most recently, he was featured in the chilling “The Chestnut Man,” albeit in a highly-rare “good man” role…which I admit rather disappointed me! He still had that same uniquely wild mane of hair and beard which is a trademark of Cesar’s maniacal madness, but, in the end, he was quite, quite normal even though I had hoped he was going to be the eponymous killer named in the show’s title! At any rate, the compelling mystery also featured an offbeat character, a strange young loner who was contained in an asylum setting and had some arcane link to the murders in question….what a surprise to realize he was he was played by Anders’ equally-gifted real life son, Elliot Crosset Hove!! Whilst they share very little in outward similarities, it’s apparent that he is most capable in channeling the cunning and crazy just like his dear father….in other words, the apple did not fall far from the Faison tree!!! My first reaction upon discovering this second-generation acting talent was thinking then what a shame he was not earmarked for the role of Henrik!!!! Elliot would have made a most creepy and convincing embodiment of a Faison offspring!!!! (Plus, he would have added a nice international flavor to the Port Charles mix….something for which GH was once very renown!!!!) But you needn’t take my word for it….just search for a photo of Elliot. (There is also another son, Anders Ezra Crosset Hove, although I could not ascertain if he is also involved in the acting business.) I had planned to send this additional info to CeeCee on a previous thread, but decided that your own post lent itself much better to imparting the delightful news regarding Anders’ family tree. Hope you enjoyed this bit of trivia as much as I did! Take care, Timmm! I’ve missed you!

As a fan of Wes Ramsey’s since way back in his Guiding Light days, I feel bad that he gets a lot of criticism for playing Peter. (He’s actually a good actor.) People are forgetting that actors are directed, and Wes’s performance is so specific with the old-timey, over-the-top villainy and the affected voice that someone must have directed him to play it that way. Or if it was Wes’s idea to try it that way, someone in charge clearly liked it or wanted him to continue or they would have told him to stop and tone it down. Personally, I wish he had played Peter with his normal, natural charm. That would have made Peter’s horrible actions even more chilling and shown how delusional the character is when he says that “he’s not a monster.”

I appreciate your comment—however, be that as it may, I think we can all draw a line between actor and character. Nonetheless, there are those instances where the viewer likes neither.
Then what? We like whom we like, regardless of the protagonist’s acting skill or lack thereof!!

Touche’, CeeCeeGirl! I just posted a response on this page to our old friend, Timmm, regarding the contrast between Anders Hove’s fabulously frightening Faison and his extremely underwhelming so-called son, Henrik! In it contains a continuation of our discussions from the “Is Luke Dead?” thread about ScandiNoir. Fingers crossed it makes it online so that you can also partake of the subject matter, since it is quite germane to our previously shared conversation. Incidentally, I did respond to you again there with further info…hope you saw it! Later, mia amica!!!!

Hi Shay…I hadn’t seen your name for a while. I just caught up on some of your recent comments. Hope it’s okay to reply to your Scandi Noir stories. I’m not a student of them like you are, but I loved The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. In reference to the “bleakness” of the landscape it becomes a character as well. Must be a factor of living in the Scani part of the world. The first Swedish movie was pretty good, but I prefer the books.
And I really was intrigued with Anders. I might try to recapture that Cassadin time period on GH, which, along with Helena, was filled with all kinds of good casting, story, and acting. Strangely enough, out of the current cast, I think Esme fits into their family best.
And then anything British has potential. I just watched interviews with Kenneth Branhann (sp?) and Annete Bennington (same?) for their upcoming Death On the Nile , Agatha Christie movie. Again, I really like the old b/w Agatha movies. If I have been intrigued by anything the past couple of years it’s Discovery Of Witches and a docu on Stonehenge. It’s in honor of the Stonehenge exhibit that will be in the British National Museum soon depicting all of the ethnic groups that came into Great Britain since time was to King Arthur, Downtown Abbey and Queen Elizabeth.
If anything good has come out of covid for me it has given me time to explore things like the above that I might have missed before. Keep well.

Hey, Shay–
Oh, I’m so sorry–I just read your post. I have a different email account for the Michael Fairman ‘chats’. I hadn’t checked said emails for days.
Of course, Faison was one of a kind—there are many fiends on soaps who are completely detestable and cringe-worthy—but Faison? Never. He was such an old-school-baddie–The Svengoolie type.LOL.
I wonder if Peter is really his son.
By the by—Brett having been Nikolas’ chattel—pardon the word, but at the time, that’s how I looked at that relationship. Plus, I did not like Tyler Christopher much.
I suppose, if Victor were to be Britt’s bio father, she and Nik would be siblings.
Well, carissima, when has an incestuous liaison ever stopped a storyline?
I just finished watching yesterday’s and today’s eps—-
Finally, Valentin ( whom I have really come to appreciate as both an actor and character) pronounced “petite” the correct way. And, oh yeah—Finally, nuCharlotte says the appellation, “papa” perfectly. It’s not “pahhpah” but rather, papa’—-short and sweet, stressing the second “a”.
I like this little girl/actress so much!! There’s something very sweet about her—enigmatic aura!!
Presently, something is brewing with Elizabeth—another tongue in cheek storyline? Is Franco alive? Does Victor have him? A zombie—that’s it. LOL.
Later, bella.

I messed up, Shay—-Victor would be Britt’s uncle, not father? Confusing—don’t have the familial tree-chart clearly delineated.—-
Valentin is Victor’s son. Exactly eho is Victor? Nikolas’ father’s brother?
Since I started watching GH, I think this is the first time Victor has been an entity to me.
Anyway, Nikolas and Britt would be kissing cousins, if Victor were to be her father?

Victor is the youngest of the original OG Cassadines…. his brothers Mikkos & Tony ended up frozen to death in their own weather machine….

though this is a recast obviously….. another case of GH & Days swapping cast members…. the original Victor is currently in Salem as Tony DiMera, while current Victor used to be known as Shane Donovan….

which is a bit of history in and of itself, since Shane was a bit of a Robert Scorpio ripoff when he first appeared in the early 80s… and then GH returned that favor by giving Robert an old friend in the spy game named Sean Donnely….

Need a score card for all of that??

Thanks, Satan–gotcha!! I know of Shane Donovan on Days—he married Kim Brady and he is Eve’s and Theresa’s father.
My grandmother filled me in. Unfortunatey, GH was not on her list of soaps.
You are very good at synopsizing. Ciao.

Absolutely, CeeCeeGirl…Anders and his craftily-created Cesar Faison are supremely special….simultaneously sinister, yet, oh so amusing, when the script calls for such a contradiction to be interjected into the given scenario. (The similarly sublime Kathleen Gati and her outrageously outre’ Obrecht are another superb example of this talent for seamlessly combining mirth meets malevolence…It’s no wonder then that these two characters made for the most perfect ever “super couple from H€££!!!!”) It is those those very opposing qualities which the blandly-vanilla Henrik lacks…this apple certainly fell far from the fearsome Faison tree, if, in fact, Cesar was indeed the “Johnny Appleseed” to his supposed son’s birth mother! (I’m still not buying it….) One thing appears very clear…we are not the only ones who remain underwhelmed with this so-called fruit of Faison’s loins…When last I regularly followed the happenings of GH, the character I had at the time dubbed “Poodle Perm Pete”—thanks to his newly-curled coif—had still not caught on to the viewer imagination….so whilst his hairstyle may have vastly improved, his level of popularity has not budged very much. Let’s just say that throwing a monkey-wrench into his purported parentage at this point would be a truly “blessed-event” so that perhaps an equally-evil chip off the old Faison is yet to be discovered…perhaps hidden away by a jealous and vengeful Liesl???? (Works for me….) Oddly enough, Peter is not the only aspect of GH which has appeared to have stagnated during my long absence…the still-overwhelming emphasis upon Carly and Sonny seems to be the same subject of great consternation and discontent as before, along with the consistently crazy-for-CocoaPuffs Nina…Hmmmm….the more things change, the more things stay the same! I guess that’s why the show runners have conjured the concept of a dead Luke Spencer via the machinations of the egregiously ersatz Victor…something, anything to spice up the Port Charles landscape with a stab at a sensational storyline which mixes the old with the new…At any rate, I have addressed those Cassadine queries on your more recent post which I have just discovered…hope my recollections help clear up any misconceptions you may have had regarding the criminal clan’s murky past and familial connections! Later, mia amica!

Hey, Shaybelle—-So happy to hear from you, and thank you for the GH “history” lesson.
Yes, Faison was the fiend of all fiends!! And, I loved him.
Liesl has been “redeemed “– Devil or angel? Makes no difference to me–love her!! I never tire watching her or hearing her affected accent.
I also love Theo Penglis in any role—but, Shaughnessy? I can’t stomach him in this role—he does not fit the partt—I only see him as Mista Sheffield, Mista Sheffield—-and Shane Donovan whose name was often thrown around on Days, albeit I don’t remember ever seeing him on stage. —( or the Hurdy Gurdy Man–) LOL.
The Drew mind-control “thing” has become tedious and stupid—If the role were being played by Billy Miller, I know I’d be a bit more tolerant. To make matters worse, he and Sam are foisted upon us—what was she doing wandering alone, in the dark, down in the boondocks? Watching the two of them interact is as scintillating as shaving my legs!!
But, I am enjoying Felicia, Mac and Laura. I hope they stay put–
A piu’ tardi, bella.

People can be cruel. Wes read many of the derogatory comments but he forged ahead as many of these actors do when they’re slammed on social media. People either forget or don’t care that there’s an actual human being with feelings on the receiving end of their hostile comments. As for “Peter?” I liked him at the start, felt bad for him as things progressed, hated him for the monster he turned out to be, and cried for him when he “died.” When all was said and done, he was a victim of his father’s insanity which in turn created who he became. Twisted, lost, soul.

I think Wes actually got better in the role towards the end; stopped with the dramatic flair and toned it down which in turn made his performance way better; the former much more suited to the stage. I wouldn’t mind if Wes returned down the line as a different character.

From what Iam reading, it looks like Liesel may be the one to save Maxi. There are so many things at play and so many involved, I sure hope the final act will be done by someone that deserves to be the hero. We’ve waited so long to see this monster get what he deserves, they better make a big deal out of it.

If Victor brainwashes Drew to do it, this could actually be the best scenario….

Between his Navy Seal training and his residual Jason memories, Drew would probably finish the job and not settle for merely throwing Heiny in the freezer. Also, because he was brainwashed, he wouldn’t be likely to be found guilty of murder.

Victor probably wouldn’t be charged either, as brainwashing is probably hard to prove, in a legal sense.

And my dog Cerberus finally gets his favorite chew toy back. It’s a win for everybody!!

This has nothing to do with Peter. Ok, Willow is not Harmony’s daughter. Are they going back to the old storyline that she is possibly Nina’s daughter? Which will bring more drama between mother & daughter and her marriage to Michael.

That’s what I think, Lew. And we might as well make Willow a stolen twin of sister Nelle. Now that would be fun…for a while, until it becomes all about Carly and Sonny.

But wouldn’t Phyllis have mentioned that there were twins, as she was more than happy to tell Nina exactly where she took baby Nelle?

Willow has zero resemblance to Nina. Neither does Psycho Nelle… but at least she looked a little bit like OLD Nina. I don’t see Willow & Nelle passing for twins… not even fraternal twins.

Ok–what about Sasha, Satan? Grabbing at straws here. Esme is obviously too young, otherwise she would have made the greatest candidate, no?

Sasha & Willow being sisters might be an interesting twist… as long as Nina had nothing to do with it.

I think if Sasha gets a sister now, they would probably just go with her actual sister…. assuming they don’t make her a Lulu recast first.

Good point, Satan….
And, oh, yes, baby—have Lulu come back alive and full of steam just to spin Sam’s “duh” head.
Dante and Lulu will reunite—Sam and Drew will reconnect and we will be bestowed with inane, asinine , back and forth whispered verbal exchanges. Mamma mia!!

Satan, just like you see significance in the writers mentioning Colorado (and you might be right), I see significance in the fact that the writers went out of their way to tell us that Phyllis NEVER saw Nina give birth. She only saw baby Nelle afterward. So if Nina had twins, Phyllis wouldn’t necessarily know. Doesn’t mean Willow will be Nina’s offspring, but the writers were definitely trying to leave the door open for some sort of shenanigans. Could Willow’s parents be Nina and Jeff Webber? Maybe we’ll find out Nina’s middle name is Joan, lol. Are the writers smart enough to throw this many red herrings out there? The scene with Willow and Nina talking about their childhoods felt like baiting those who think they will eventually be revealed as mother-daughter. As they say, tune in tomorrow…

Nina was in a coma when she gave birth to Psycho Nelle. So while you’re correct that it could “technically” leave the door open for her to have twins, it definitely does not leave the door open for her to be at some commune in Colorado.

Yes, that’s a plausible possibility, Holly—-however, if I recall correctly, Nina said something about Silas being her first and only—-moreover, the were married soon after College.
Apparently, Nina fell into a coma within a year, I think?—-but, she and Silas remained married. In the interim, he has his affair with Ava. For the longest time I thought Kiki was Nina’s daughter. Is that possibility still there?
So, If Phyllis never knew the baby, she assumed there was only one—did Madeline give the second baby to Joan? Was Madeline Joan?
LLL—I need to stop before I conjure up all kinds of scenarios.

Lew S.
Everyone that thinks Nina is Willows mother. Have we never seen Harmony and Nina together? Wouldn’t they recognize each other if they were both at this commune Harmony talks about where Willow’s mother left her after giving birth? I guess they could have both been there and never met but she and her husband agreed to take the abandoned baby. It sure is a whole different story than the one Nina tells of her mother taking her baby away after birth.

Hi Violet, i had that theory before Harmony mentioned the situation at the commune. Who knows where they will go with this!

Lew S, Satan
I believe Harmony’s story, so when Satan mentioned Elizabeth, I am really wondering about what’s really going on with her and the stuff she’s been experiencing, the torn dress, etc, and is she even old enough to be Willow’s mom and please don’t anyone say that maybe Terri fathered her when she was a he. I am loving all the aspects and hope the outcome will be exciting and believable.

Considering Elizabeth was about 14 when she arrived in Port Charles, I think the odds of her having a child before then are very slim. Also, I think Harmony might have mentioned it if “Joan” were a 13 year old girl. Terri being the father might be a “first” for daytime, but I don’t think she & Liz ever went farther than a kiss.

As far as what’s going on with Liz & the weird stuff…. since she keeps talking about not getting any sleep, I’m thinking she got herself an Ambien prescription…. and is doing some very weird thing while under the influence of the drug. Days did a story like this with Hope several years ago. She was living an entirely different life at night while she thought she was sleeping… and had no memory of it the next day… and couldn’t figure out why she was so damned tired.

After what Harmony told Alexis yesterday, I think the real story here isn’t who Willow’s bio-mother is, but who her bio-father is…..

So Willow was born to this woman named Joan, at some cult commune in Colorado. Why did they specifically mention Colorado??

Who else in Port Charles lived in Colorado when they were kids?? Well, actually two people in the current cast… Elizabeth Webber & Terri Randolph. Willow looks like she could be related to either of them, but we know nothing else about Terri’s family at the moment so…..

Jeff Webber had yet another fling, and Liz has another sister she didn’t know about. And little Wiley becomes the most legacy kid of all legacy kids, since he’s already a Quartermaine, a Spencer, and a Corinthos, but with Willow as adopted mom now joins the Hardy & Webber family trees as well. Which would not be a good thing for his future dating prospects, assuming GH lasts long enough for him to see that age.

Now this is 666% unholy speculation on my part, of course… but of all the places on Earth where a hippie cult commune might have been, they picked Colorado for a reason.. and since there’s never been a “Joan” on GH anytime that my aging senior Devil memory can recall, it’s gotta be about “who’s the daddy”… and probably another hint that Jeff Webber is going to show up in Port Charles for the first time in 40 years.

Hopefully NOT as a recast.

Oh, WOW, Satan!–thank you for that—-sounds good to me and very palatable.
Yet, I still want Willow to be Nina’s daughter–only because of the drama Lew mentioned. I have always had this nagging feeling from the start that Nelle and Willow were twins. But how?
Can you imagine? Michael &Co despise Nina whom , in turn, is actually Willow’s bio Mom. What to do….what to do….!! Hair pulling—dishes flying—spiteful name-calling galore….
Your “version” makes more sense. I don’t know… I just noticed that Nina was so much more “soft” towards Willow, the other day. Are the writers preparing us for a “reunion”?
I want there to be a gigantic surprise—something unexpected and prodigious which will leave us with mouth agape!!—-that is, if said writers’ imagination expands to the outer limits. I wonder!!

As much as so many of us are bitching and complaining, it’s obvious a lot us are really interested in exterminating Peter the Pxxxx. I know a lot of people think it’s good for Maxi’s mom to go on the hunting trip. I think she will only mess things up, but then I didn’t know her in her Glory Days. So I’ll just say Bye, Felicia!

Now I’m not saying this is going to happen… in fact the odds of a blizzard in Hell on Tuesday are slightly higher, but……

What if Felicia wasn’t really flying blind at all? Sure it looks that way, since she flew into Switzerland on her own, against the advice of the “professionals” who advised her to stay home with Mac.

But a lot of things in Port Charles seem to happen “off screen” lately… and what if Felicia was making some calls behind the scenes, and arranging for somebody to meet her in Switzerland, so they could take down Heiny together, and save their daughter.

Or in other words, what if Felicia is bringing in Frisco in as her backup?? It’s 666% ridiculous that Maxie’s father – the supposed leader of the WSB has had zero presence in this storyline so far. Sure he & Maxie don’t have the ideal father/daughter relationship, but when you have a threat like Heiny to deal with are you NOT going to call in resources like that??

So if a Devil were writing this show, there would definitely be a surprise appearance by Frisco. Even if he turns around and leaves the next day… which he probably would…. since the fools in charge of this show seem to want to leave him (as well as Lucky Spencer) forever labeled as “deadbeat dads”

Satan
BINGO! It sure makes sense to me. Frisco, Frisco who? I’d completely forgotten about him. All I could think of was this little woman lurking around this farm, trying to find a way to get to Maxi, etc,etc I’ve read that she and Maxi may be the ones to put down this mad dog once and for all, so possibly it might be a family affair, huh?

Blizzards in Hell? How about the show being interrupted for some damn thing right at the end as we’ve seen many times? It will cause a scream heard around the world!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).

Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.

Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON

Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”

Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).

Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.

“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?

During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.

Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.

You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.

Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Reconnects with Danny; Tristan Roberts Arrives in Port Charles, Lots of Nods to #16

General Hospital’s 16,000th episode was packed with little reminders through points in today’s script that the ABC daytime drama series has set another milestone and it paved the way for the return of fan favorite and newly nominated Daytime Emmy Lead Actor nominee Steve Burton (Jason Morgan). The 16,000th episode also introduced viewers to the new surgeon in Port Charles Dr. Tristan Roberts played by Dean Geyer.

Here are the key takeaways and what went down on the July 13 episode: Tristan and Jason are seated next to each other on a plane heading to Port Charles. Throughout the flight, a beaten up Jason has flashbacks to being thrown into, and being held captive in a cell and tortured. It appears Jason is suffering from some form of PTSD from what he was put through after being dragged out of Port Charles by the WSB months ago.

As the plane prepares to land, Tristan tells Jason there would be a car waiting for him once they land and to enjoy the rest of his life. Later, Tristan arrives at the nurses and doctors hub at GH and approaches Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). He tells her his name and that he is the new surgeon on staff.

A REUNION PLUS A HEAD NURSE DEFENDS SONNY

Meanwhile, at the end of the episode, Jason is outside the Quartermaine boathouse looking bewildered when he runs into Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who is so thrilled to see his father, and the two hugs each other as tears are shed.

Elsewhere, Elizabeth tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he thinks its a great idea for him to get the 16th seat on the hospital board, but when it comes times to convince Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) of that, things go awry when Tracy, Laura and Sonny try to work things out. After Tracy launches into Sonny about killing Alan and Monica’s son AJ, Sonny walks away dejected.

Next, Sonny runs into Elizabeth, where he informs her what happened with Tracy. So what’s a head nurse to do? Elizabeth marches into the conference room and reminds Tracy of all the different donations and ways Sonny has contributed to the hospital from the Stone Cates AIDS wing, to the Michael Corinthos Center for Pediatric Head Injuries as well as his constant support each year for the GH Nurses’ Ball.

WSB WAR SCARS

Then, in one of the best parts for longtime fans of the series, Elizabeth talks about her legendary grandparents, Audrey and Steve Hardy and she tells Tracy they would have wanted Sonny to have a seat on the board for all the good that he has done for the hospital. After Elizabeth states Sonny’s case, things took a turn and Tracy and Sonny wound up shaking hands as Sonny is board member #16.

In the how great was it to see Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) together scenes department, the pick-up of last Friday’s cliffhanger is played out as the two former lovers fill each other in on what has gone down in their lives in the last several months including Valentin admitting he had been living in Carly’s attic, and Anna realizing she was kidnapped by Cullum, Sidwell and Cassius Faison. During their conversation, Anna sees the hallucination of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right while Valentin is standing there.

Later Anna was on her way to saying goodbye to Valentin, when the two share an emotional hug. After Valentin made his exit, Peter reappeared and warned Anna to not let Valentin distract her because she has important work to do. Anna answers, “I know.”

So, what did you think of General Hospital’s 16,000 episode? What do you think is wrong with Jason? What is the important “work” that Anna has to do? Were you glad to see Sonny get a seat on the hospital board, or not so much. Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out the scenes on Jason and Tristan’s long flight to Port Charles.
