Now let’s put or thinking caps on and try to decipher what General Hospital’s head writer Ron Carlivati is tweeting about today, that now has fans on the edge of their seats!
The head scribe of the long running ABC soap opera related on his Twitter page this afternoon the following message: “Tomorrow on General Hospital, four, count ’em four, big surprises! Don’t miss it! #GH #GH50”
So who do you think is heading to Port Charles? What do you think could be some of the surprises? Is it a story shocker? Can you figure out all four surprises?

#GH has been great I have not enjoyed general hospital like this in a long time. I can not wait for general hospital to come on every day. I get excited to see what is going to happen. I can not guess what 4 surprises are going to happen next every day is a cliff hanger.
I wouldn’t even begin to try to guess here…This writer is amazing and I am sure that I will be tuning in!!!! Now if they could work their magic and get Michael Easton, Roger Howarth, and Kristen Alderson to return to GH in their current characters I would be thrilled! Furthermore, how about working Beth Chamberlin into the canvas…she needs a new show to showcase her amazing talent that is sorely missed from daytime since the demise of Guiding Light!
I know, I was so sad to see all three wrap up yesterday! I want them back on the show full-time!

I love what he and Frank have done with GH. Bringing back favorites like Lucy, Anna, Duke, Felicia, Laura, Scotty, Frisco and bringing a redeemed AJ back from the dead. Cartini is righting so many mistakes from past regimes. Can’t wait to see what Ron will write next!
If RC doesnt get an emmy for all this…ill know there is some kind of conspiracy behind it…maybe like Brian Frons as a secret voter? ill blame him anyway…lol!

Bobbi, and Leslie? worried over Lulu, and maybe will see Robert on his way back to PC with the rescued Robin. Or Helene holding Lulu captive with the thought dead Rick Webber, Alan returning very much alive and as the missing ELQ shareholder…i could go but i dont care to know what it is…just suprise me and i know ill still be excited no matter what it is. If only the other soaps could clone RC…he’s the man!!!
Bobbie looked terrible on GH last wk. She really messed up her face! Too many things done to her face. She doesn’t look like herself no more. You only recognize
her speaking voice.
Im not going to judge Jackie Zeman…we all make mistakes…maybe not like she has…but we all live and learn from them. Soap opera characters are just like family…if my family did what she has done i would still show my love and support. We just never know if we end up in a similiar situation.
Joan Rivers face is messed up also. Yes we all make mistakes. If that were me I would make them correct the bad job on my face.I wouldn’t accept it.

I have not yet watched today’s episode, but my guess would be Bobbie for sure, as was previously mentioned, Jasper and Jerry Jax, and the fourth not sure, maybe Robert. I absolutely feel that either Jerry Jax or Helena will be back tomorrow for sure though. Like soooo many above, I would love to see Michael Easton/John McBain and Kristen Alderson/Starr return. Very happy to know that Roger Howarth will be back on the GH canvas, and will also be on OLTL for bit, so I truly hope they can work out a deal to get Michael and Kristen back as well. I understand politics in any business is very tricky, but how sad that these wonderful actors are out of work while this is being mulled over, and storylines are either on hold or revamped. No one wins in a situation like this, not even the fans of either/or both shows. Michael Easton has not filmed since early February, it is now almost two months later and still no decision, again, so sad for everyone involved, especially Michael and his family.
Above, I said that either Jerry Jax or Helena (the resident evils) would be back, but now I think it could even be Stefan Cassadine who is returning, since Stephen Nichols is no longer on Y&R.

My tv guide channel reveals Bobbi returning. It also mentions a shocking connection: Could Dr. Brit really be Lisa Niles? (or at least related?) I mentioned it b4 especially after seeing Brit react after Patrick mentioned Lisas name weeks ago. Hope im right because her quick attraction to him would make more sense than just always love at first sight.

Crazier things have happen on this show, and RC is smart,intelligent and creative enough to pull off something like this. But it is just a guess…but it would be great if i was right.
Sabrina is REALLY Patricks SISTER!!! Noah returns, reveals he had an affair with Sabrinas mother and secretly paid for her nurses training! Thats the SHOCKING connectionl At least i hope it is so Robin fans wont worry about Sabrina and Patrick getting together!

I just watched Thursday’s show and I loved the scenes with Maxie and Frisco!!! I want more!!! I would like to hope that since Anna has to hire a replacement for John that she hire Frisco and that GH gives Jack Wagner a contract and we see much more riveting scenes with Maxie and Frisco!!! Well done! Loved the whole show but those were fabulous!!!

I think that Lucky is coming back! I know that he said he couldn’t make it work but you know that Nashville must be done filming for the season because the season finale is very soon. I think that is one of the surprises and maybe Nikolas. Both need to come help look for Lulu. I also hope that Leslie is back!

Um, Jaclyn Zeman looks like a martian and she could pass for Lisa Rinna’s twin sister! Why in hell do these women do this to themselves? I swear Genie Francis is looking at her face and saying WTH? Couldn’t even concentrate on what they were talking about..

Jaclyn Zeman and Leslie Charleson should take a look at Lynn Herring, Gene, Jane, Nancy Lee Grahn and see how a woman looks when they age gracefully.
Those monstrous lips, slick forehead & protruding cheekbones look is horrendous. I really don’t know how their co-stars can look at them and spit out their lines straight. I can’t look at them and I’m watching them on TV.
Wish these women would stop while they are ahead. That goes for Hunter Tylo and Lauren Koslow too! stop the horror.
Just watched Friday’s surprised filled epi… well done! I must say that while filled with surprises… Thursday’s epi with the Maxie and Frisco scenes were truly more exceptional!!! Don’t get me wrong epi’s filled with great surprises are a gift… but truly great acting by faves with emotion packed scenes trumps a cavalcade of great surprises! Overall a stellar week!!! Definitely must see… can’t wait for entertainment! Congratulations GH!!! LOVE GH!!!

and notwithstanding… the scenes with Felica and Anna commiserating over their past lives and men…. no more Felicia and Duke… as these dynamite Ladies, with pictures off…. were turned over.
these “romances” are what’s driving GH right now… or… a big part of it…
these episodes packed a whallop and were emotional.
no more ^Frisco – and – Duke.
GH is back in stride. The quality suffered over past several months in large part, I think, because the show was blindsided by the legal battle over the OLTL characters. I noted a real return on Thursday’s and Friday’s episodes with the vets and great storylines : Mac and Duke, Frisco and Maxie, Anna and Felicia. I loved all three of those pairings. As a veteran viewer, those characters REALLY mean something to me and I cannot thank Ron and Frank enough for respecting the history annd allowing the characters to have those interactions on Thursday. Same with Scotty and Lucy and Lucy And Kevin.
As for the kidnapping of Lulu? Intrigued by Bobbi’s comments that she was watched, and how Laura reacted to that statement. People on line have been complaining that they do not think there is very good writing for Luke-Laura-Scotty. But I disagree. Genie forewarned us that Laura was returning with a secret. The secret is NOT her engagement to Scotty. There is clearly more to it. This is a mother who does not seem totally shocked that her daughter was kidnapped. Given Scotty’s lies, she is still TOO willing to marry him, in a hurry if necessary. Laura seems to know what is going on and is walking an emotional tightrope here. She seems too emotionally muted NOT to be under some sort of surveillance or under some sort of dark conspiracy. It is not poor writing. Something is up with Laura. How that figures in with Scotty’s pure DESPERATION to get her married QUICK, is another story. Notice how much more relaxed Scotty is with Lucy than he is with Laura? His intensity with Laura is not the old Scotty. Either he knows or senses something and that accounts for his desperation.
Re: the Britt/Dr. O connection? I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!! It ties into some of Dr. O’s interactions with Robin, where Robin really hit a nerve when she asked Dr. O if she had a child.
This raises a bunch of really intersting questions:
1). Is Britt Faison’s daughter?
2). Does Britt know that Robin is alive and anything of her mother’s role in Robin’s kidnapping?
3). What is the purpose behind the Britt obsession with Patrick? Is she under mother’s orders to destory Robin’s family? Is that why Britt hates lil’ Emma, because she is Robin’s daughter and Britt knows Robin is still alive?
4). Why the obsession with Sabrina? Is it just because Sabrina ruined Britt’s plans for Patrick? Or is there something more?
5). Sabrina is too insignificant to require so much of Britt’s time. This raises the question of Sabrina’s real identity. Who is she? Does she have actual ties to other PC residents that are yet to be revealed? Does Britt know what they are, and is she being TOLD to destroy this insignificant wallflower? I don’t think Sabrina is being built up just to “replace” Robin in Patrick’s life. So the Sabrina haters need to calm down a bit. The writers and EP begged KMc to remain a character on the show. Therefore they would not purposely risk her place in her daughter’s life. The Sabrina build, I am convinced, may have more to do with who Sabrina really is, and less to do with making her Robin’s replacement with Patrick and Emma.
Just my two cents. I think the current GH regime is less clueless about the GH history and what it means than fans think. I am willing to follow their lead and give this time to spool out, now that the OLTL character-rights issue is not taking up all their time.
So, I’ll follow them anywhwere EXCEPT back into “Goodfellas” land. Like Maurice, but hate the mob. GH’s ratings were sunk by the mob. The lack of the mob and the end of Jason have only helped the show, ratings-wise. Why would they risk everthing by going back to what DIDN’T work? They won’t. Sorry, mob fans. Bringing back the vets worked. It is no coincidence that the ratings peaked with the Duke/Faison/Anna/Robert storyline!!!
And, also, sorry. I like Sabrina. A lot! The character is a breath of fresh air. I DO NOT see her as Robin’s replacement. NO ONE can EVER replace Robin. That is why I don’t hate Sabrina. I don’t think she is being built up to replace one of GH’s all-time most beloved characters. Robin is simply irreplacable!! I think there is more to Sabrina than we know. I look forward to finding out who she really is. Because, as I say, I like her and I care about this character. Not as Robin #2, as I do not for a minute believe that is why she is here.

I agree and like your thoughts. I do believe Brit is Faison’s daughter and that was sent to get involved with Patrick and Emma’s life to know what is happening with it at all times. I think Sabrina is more than we think she is too! I agree with your assessment of Laura too… someone is controlling her and watching her. I think Scotty could be involved or has someone controlling him and watching him too. I lean towards the fact that he is in with the bad guys/gals. I love everything about the past cast coming back to play now and hope as many can stay around for a bit.

I figure she was to keep an eye on Patrick, and that led to an obsession and, she just doesn’t like kids, no matter how cute they are… remember the sick kid that threw up on her at the hospital… that was great! 😀

i think she just couldn’t observe and obsession led to possessiveness… she obviously didn’t have a great upbringing to teach her how to behave in society! Her mother has some issues with wanting the wrong man and doing anything for him.

Sabrina is related to Juan Santiago, her cousin, who used to be a boyfriend of Emily Quartermaine. His character bio says: Juan Santiago – Biological son of Miguel Morez and Lily Rivera Corinthos. Adopted son of Mrs. Santiago and Armando Santiago. Dated Emily Quartermaine. Cousin of Sabrina Santiago. Left for South America in 2001.
It’s a stretch of a tie-in since he’s been gone for so long. But she did tell us that she was related to him. (by adoption at least)
Could Sabrina and Rafe be related? If Juan Santiago had an affair with Alison Barrington, maybe Alison got pregnant by Juan, and he is the boys father and not Caleb? Maybe Alison met Caleb in a mental hospital and convinced her Rafe was his, and she always believed it because he was convincing enough to get her to also believe he was a vampire? Sabrina and Juan may be stepcousins because of adoption but if Rafe turns out to be Juans son this could give them each a connection.
I miss the OLTL characters already… Bring them back… They are the only reason that GH got the momentum to come back and gain the viewers back… I am still thinking .. a year from now.. prospect park will not be as popular as everyone is thinking it is going to be.. I hope I am wrong.. but not sooo sure… .time will tell..
Maybe the OLTL characters will do both! I want to see more John McBain! And Todd!

But I have to say… Great writing GH … and lots of excitement.. I have given up Days of our Lives after 30 years and do not miss it a bit.. this is how a soap opera should be … great job!!!!
I really enjoy watching GH these days better than a couple of years ago when I stopped watching it. The storylines are so much better & exciting!

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

General Hospital Fan Club Weekend brought out many of your favorites to the four day event; with the main cast gathering on Saturday, August 1. Fans near and far attended the weekend held this year at the Burbank Marriott Hotel. Whether it be the main cast event or the smaller more intimate events featuring two or three cast members a great time was had by all.
Some of the cast participating in the main cast event included: Cyrus Hobbi (Yuri), Gary James Fuller (James), Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Viron Weaver (Wiley), Paige Herschell (Jacinda), Chris McKenna (Brennan), Josh Kelly (Cody), Kayden Brenna Tokarsi (Scout), Cassandra James (Terry), Laura Wright (Carly), Dominic Zamprogna (Dante), Carolyn Hennesy (Diane), Rick Hearst (Ric), Adrian Anchondo (ex-Marco), and Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle).

Vincent Pastore of ‘Sopranos’ Fame and ‘General Hospital’s’ Maximus Giambetti Dies at 80
Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.
The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.
PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL
Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)
According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”
Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.
Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.
In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.
Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
