The Nurses’ Ball is upon us!  Have you RSVP’d? While we probably think you are more than ready, you can now officially to do!

Right now on General Hospital’s Facebook page, you can add your name to the list of attendees and share thoughts with other long time and new GHers as we head towards what promises to be a three-day television event airing April 5,8,9 featuring: red carpet arrivals, song and dance, heartfelt speeches, emotional moments and high drama, and some very funny moments too! We suspect you will probably need to be armed and ready with several hankies nearby!

Just what will go down at the Ball?  Who will show up, and who won’t?  We will have to wait to find out when the Ball kicks into high gear.

Let us know your predictions as to what you think will happen when the dust has settled from The Nurses’ Ball? And what you hope to see during the performances? And just how many outfit changes the “hostess with the mostess”, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) just might have during the festivities!

Dr. O and Britt pulling a ‘Carrie’ on the newly transformed Sabrina but i doubt that. Maybe Milo literally pees his pants seeing Sabrina in her Cinderella makeover. Patrick about to tell Sabrina he has feelings for her just as Robin shows up but is just a lookalike sent by Dr. O to keep Sab from him, then Robin disapears again b4 truth revealed cause id like to aggravate the fans. Monica gives speach which includes Alan who shows up very much alive and further shocks Tracy and A.J. as the missing ELQ shareholder. Kevin suprises Lucy with a new… Read more »

I enjoyed seeing maksim chmerkovskiy on GH today. Milo is kind of rat turning off Sabrina’s phone messages from Patrick. He’s hardly kind, he’s desperate. Afraid that Robin will return just as jim said up in his post just as Patrick starts to pour his heart out to Sabrina. It will be neat to see all the old people come back. Really was hoping that Jack Wagner would sing for the Nurses Ball. It will be a great three days!

Honoring Robin Scorpio? Maybe in the midst of all the recent Sabrina-worship, the show forgot Robin’s last name has been Scorpio-Drake for several years.

GH’s Kirsten Storms Shares More Details on Her Brain Surgery and Recovery

On Sunday, Kirsten Storms (Maxie, General Hospital) posted a follow-up message on her Instagram account to her friends and followers on how she is doing following her brain surgery, and to answer any questions that may be out on there; so she decided to share further details.

Storms expressed: “First, thank you for all of the well wishes I’ve received over the last few days. 🥰 Little bit of info for those who are wondering.. I spent the last few years having random health issues that I disregarded as side affects to my medications or just something I was experiencing due to age. When I went to get an MRI for some severe neck pain I have been experiencing for the last few months (I assumed this neck pain was also causing my frequent “migraines”) my amazingly thorough orthopedist ordered an MRI of my head just to be on the “safe side” – even though that isn’t his area of expertise.  Truly a great doctor.  That’s when we stumbled upon a rather large, very full of fluid, cyst that was attached to the lower portion of brain. I feel very fortunate that my situation wasn’t more serious and that I had a wonderful neurosurgeon who immediately knew how to fix it. I’m not gonna lie, brain surgery had me nervous, but I’m immensely thankful to my family, friends, and incredible “work family” who have been supportive, kind and loving during a time when I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions. Work is a great place to be everyday and for the 2 months leading up to my surgery I found a lot of comfort being around the people I’ve worked beside for so many years. I’m excited to get back to it after my recovery. (Yes, they shaved a portion of my head, so please no comments if you don’t like my hair. It’s temporary.). Again, thank you to everyone for sending positive vibes my way. It’s not gone unnoticed. ♥️

Fun fact: I now firmly believe the new plates in my brain will give me some sort of special ability. Fingers crossed I can suddenly knit a sweater in 1 day. Ooo maybe 1 hour. 😮”

Please continue to send well-wishes to Kirsten via the comment section below as she is on the mend, and we look forward to her return to GH when she is recovered.

GH’s Kirsten Storms Reveals She Is Recovering From Brain Surgery

On Friday afternoon, General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) took to her Instagram Story accompanied in the car by her best friend, Emme Rylan (Ex-Lulu, GH) that she just underwent brain surgery.  In the video, Storms was in a neck brace.

In her message to her fans and friends, Kirsten shared: “I’ve not really spoken about this much, or at all, actually.  But, less than 48 hours ago, I had brain surgery, hence the neck brace.  It was on the lower portion of my brain. Emme is taking care of me until I get to my at-home nurse. It has been an interesting last couple of days.”

Kirsten went to clarify what kind of surgery it was, revealing: “What they had to drain and remove was not cancer. I want to clarify that right now before the Internet, goes crazy wild with rumors about this. I had a very large cyst that had split into two and the doctor said it was so full, the pressure was very noticeable when they opened up my skull.”

Now that the pressure is relieved from her brain, Storms will be healing and taking time off from work at GH, expressing: “I will be on the mend for the next several weeks. I will be back at work when this is over with.”

Share your well-wishes for a safe and speedy recovery to Kirsten via the comment section below.
