Hayley Erin Signs Off From GH: “RIP Keeks …. Thank You For This Wonderful, Wild Ride In Daytime”

Photo: ABC

Well, we all knew it was coming but on today’s episode of General Hospital, viewers learned that Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) is no more; no thanks to serial killer, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)

And with that, ends the run of Hayley Erin, who took over the role of Kiki from Kristen Alderson in 2013 and made it her own.  She received a Daytime-Emmy nomination for her performances earlier this year.

In a heartfelt message to her fans and GH co-workers, Hayley posted: “RIP Keeks. Much love to my family, I’ll miss you guys. Thank you for this wonderful, wild ride in daytime. I’ll always be grateful to the fans who embraced Kiki through the years, my life wouldn’t be nearly this beautiful without your constant love and support XO”

Erin’s on-screen mother, Maura West (Ava) tweeted back: “I love you, Hayley. And you are stuck with me…cuz once you’re my fake tv daughter…you’re my family forever and for real. we will continue to watch you sparkle!!”

As viewers know, Hayley is set to appear in the new Pretty Little Liars spin-off, The Perfectionists.

So, share your well-wishes to Hayley as she begins an exciting new chapter of her career via the comment section below.

Beat of luck, Hayley! You’ll be missed

GOOD LUCK, YOU WILL BE SORELY MISSED

I was hoping it wasn’t her because I was hoping she’d be Nina’s real daughter. Hayley did a fantastic job over the past five years. She’ll be missed. Good luck.

I think she left because she heard she might be Nina’s daughter. OMG!

I agree. Totally unexpected and I to thought she was Nina’s daughter.

Does Ava get pregnant by Ryan,,,,and when will Stella admit Curtis is her son???

Good luck, Hayley. You will be missed!!!

Terrible to kill off Kiki, I can’t watch anymore.

Maybe you can come back to GH should your new show not work out but whatever happens I hope you will be happy but as for me I will truly miss you on GH R.I.P. We Love You Kiki

While it is sad that TPTB decided to “kill off” Kiki Jerome, I know that the fallout will have long-standing rippling effects on the canvas for a while, so I look forward to the performances by those involved in the character’s orbit. As for Ms. Erin, I want to say thank you for stepping into a role and making it your complete on. I knew you as Abby on The Young and the Restless, and felt you the right person to take over the role of Kiki. I am wishing you the best on your primetime ventures, and hope to one day see you ghosting it up in Port Charles once again!

Hallelujah! I have been wanting this annoying character gone for years. Thank you GH (and Ryan!) for finishing her off for good. 🙂

Hahaha; I totally agree. She was as smug and self-righteous as Carly. Haley did a great job but I hated Kiki.

Haley did an amazing job and made me forget Kristen! I cannot believe she has been on for FIVE years! Good luck sweetie!

Hayley, you were fabulous at Kiki and you will be missed…I wish you nothing but the best in all your future endeavors.

i’m just Leary @all the desecrate … of character… or lack of

Maura West Ava… yeah, her past is mob oriented; yeah, she can be a bitch… yeah, she’s done , for story sake given us time and again.. her work.

yet this time around… even I am taken aback at just how MEAN.. she’s acting.. just to be ???? she seriously cannot fathom that SHE slept with Morgan… AND Kiki cannot ? COME ON ! this is retread… even Maura West must be stupefied… because Ava would NEVER treat her own daughter this way.

even if it is a little too late… this was one of the BEST single mother and fighting chance daughter Kiki. loved these two to bits . so this is going to be searing to see Ava deal with how hurtful she didn’t have to be.

STAT : ???? it’s just so lame.. how every story has to surface in and around the Corinthos’ dullard. case in point : WE all knew , it would be Josslyn to bring Oscar around. GAVEL

JUST WHY ??? did Billy Miller ‘ Drew .. HAVE TO go to the Corinthos manse to thank Josslyn in person ????? !!!! WACK JOB… Shelly and Chris you two are meaningless. of course this was done to PROP … WAS DONE TO PROP.. the boring Corinthos family.

ALL it had to take… later in the ep… seeing Josslyn heart and eyes light up .. when she saw Oscar name flash on her phone… Yeah, I leapt with. that was endearing…

it’s just lame how all the “points” of story.. are added to give Sonny and Carly “leverage” with NO “Meaning”

My Kiki .. my dear… Godspeed; be well ; take care; and go with… whatever this flight in this “profession”

argh! one more flying

it’s just so dumb idiotic… that it leaves the impression that Billy Miller’ Drew is “now” indebted to the Corinthos’.. because of Josslyn GOOD WILL ? Puke

same case is with Laura… she will be indebted to Carly .. because wah blah blah.. every one is on the case to HELP CARLY. doesn’t matter that Felicia is unaware.. and the better actress… doesn’t matter that Ava is once again hitting bottom… AND is the better actress…

Laura Wright is sitting atop the heap… w/ Maurice Benard.. w Chad Duell… GOD Frank VAlentini.. I am waiting for you to be FIRED

Hayley has grown SO much as an actress!! Starting out under Ron Catlivati’s pen does no favours to any young performer! But after he was mercifully fired…she blossomed!! She became Kiki!! It is a sad and brutal end….but in order for the Ryan story to have merit and gravitas….someone meaningful had to die. Her death is powerful and will give Maura West story to play for years!! I want FRONT ROW TICKETS for the day Ava learns that Ryan killed Kiki! She will demolish him!!!! I also hope Carly and Ava somehow bond over this!!

Hate Carly. I wouldn’t be surprised if down the line she blames Ava for Kiki’s death, too.

Instead, she should be thinking about how she had been torturing AJ for years, how her husband killed him and how she covered it up. Then she should get down on her hands and knees and beg Monica for all the years she tortured HER son. The pity party over Morgan has gone on long enough.

Haley Erin grew so much as an actress during her time on the show. If this happened 2 years ago, I wouldn’t have cared as much as it happened now. Break a leg, HE!

A side note on serial killers in PC. Poor Dillon Quartermaine. His first love and his cousin are murdered by one serial killer. His father is later revealed to be one (dumb writing). And now another love, another victim. Only in a soap opera, could this happen to one person!

You could say the same thing for Dillon’s cousin Michael. Paul (Dillon’s dad) killed his girlfriend Cinderbrina, and Michael was also involved with Kiki for a while. And Michael nearly avoided being a victim of Psycho Nelle himself (her previous boyfriend wasn’t so lucky).

Yet still, he manages to idolize Sonny who is responsible for killing others, including AJ, his own father. No sympathy for Michael..
