Heather Lindell Crushes It As Jan Spears Returns On The DOOL App’s ‘Last Blast Reunion’

Photo: JPI

On Thursday’s release of the 7th installment of the DOOL app’s digital series, Last Blast Reunion, it marked the first full episode featuring Heather Lindell in her return as the villainess and twisted, Jan Spears.

And as viewers of the series will note, Jan was the mean girl back in the day who had a thing for Shawn (Jason Cook, now Brandon Beemer) and back in 2004-2005 she kept the young man locked in a cage as her love slave as she went off the rails.

Well, as Last Blast Reunion fans will note in the 2020 version, Jan has kidnapped Shawn (Beemer) and this time he is shirtless and tied to a bed, as we learn just what Jan’s twisted plot is for the “Last Blast Crew”.

We won’t spoil the rest, but suffice to say, what a fun breath of fresh air it is to see Lindell do her thing, and remind us all why she can play cray-cray with the best of them.  Make sure to download the DOOLapp to see Jan try to take down the “crew”.  And, be on the lookout on Friday on the app for a sit-down interview with Lindell.

So, what do you think of seeing Heather as Jan Spears again? Would you love to see her jump back on the airshows as well sometime down the line, if she does or doesn’t get her comeuppance? Comment below.

That’s why we call him “ReRon”. Same things, over and over.

Though to be fair, this is well within the warped character of Jan Spears to do such a thing.

Of course, I haven’t seen any of this web series yet, and unless it pops up on NBC.com (like the Chad & Abby stuff did) I don’t plan on it. I don’t watch “TV” on a tiny little phone screen with my ancient Devil eyes.

I use Chromecast to cast from my tablet to my TV and I love Last Blast Reunion!

Only Ron would bring back the most useless, pointless character in the show’s history. Who is next…Alex North?? I have been scared to EVEN mention the name Jan anywhere near the name Spears since the summer of 2017 when Ron took over Days. I knew if he caught wind of a random, unconnected psycho from years past, he would gladly bring her back. Dont we think the show is just a little top heavy right now with female psychopaths who cant take a hint?? The Salem Library really needs to invest in a copy of “He’s Just Not That Into You?” Its not entertaining, its degrading to women. Not to mention so boring and dreary and repetitive. A woman, aged 19-73…standing alone in a park, or the town square, declaring to herself (but in a voice loud enough so anyone within a block could hear) “I will have him! He will be mine! No one is going to stop me from making him mine!” It is such lazy, manufactured attempt at “drama”. Ut then again…so is all of what Ron writes. I witnessed him gut GH and sink it to its lowest recorded ratings EVER! Let’s not hope for the same for Days!! Let’s get a writer who can tell ONE story without the use of some sort of doppelganger!!

You realize this is a limited role on a one-off web series that’s almost concluded, and not on the actual show? Of course you do.

Does she still not carry the name that shall not be mentioned???? Channing…your murder mystery was one of the most intricately plotted in daytime history! The writing, the acting, the production…wow!!!!! Any story involving Jan Spears ….. not so much!! So I haven’t been watching this Last Blast…obviously they are all not dead. Is it a dream of Jan’s, or a nightmare of one of the other characters?

Visually it started off looking promising. Then the story started and was pointless. It became quite silly and then not worth it. I guess it worked on paper. It didn’t on film.

You had me at Brandon Beemer tied up shirtless. Lol.

Didn’t Jan tie up Jason Cook to a bed shirtless already? So second verse, same as first, only about 15 years later and this time its Brandon Beemer. Although I’m not complaining about seeing him shirtless.

Make sure to catch Days of our Lives on any platform you can next week! (The President Donald Trump impeachment hearings could alter the regularly scheduled daytime time slot for the series on NBC).  For, it is a pivotal one for fans that have been following along the major storylines of the innovative time jump that started to air last November.

In one emotional week, Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Justin (Wally Kurth) revisit the last day of Adrienne’s life — which happens to be last Mother’s Day.  In addition, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) goes into labor.  While. Brady (Eric Martsolf) causes tension when he brings Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) to his parents’ townhouse for Mother’s Day.  Plus, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) gets an upsetting visit from someone from her past.  How does this all tie-in to what went down that fateful night?

The latest NBC promo for the series promises we will learn what happened to Adrienne, especially since on Friday’s episode, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) told Will(Chandler Massey) he is not responsible for his mother-in-laws death AFTER he signed the divorce papers with Sonny.   Plus major intel on what happened to Brady and Kristen’s baby and how Haley Chen (Thia Megia) died, which had left an anguished JJ (Casey Moss) turning back to drugs.
