Next week on The Young and the Restless, it’s the wedding of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and it has The Newman and the Locke clans all converging in Tuscany, Italy for the nuptials.

While the wedding invitation put out on social media says the “I-do’s” are set for the Thursday, October 14th episode, also be on the lookout for fan favorite duo, Skyle to return beginning on Tuesday, October 12th, which welcomes back to the show, Hunter King (Summer) and Michael Mealor (Kyle).

When King and Mealor were written-off the show and off-contract, Summer and Kyle decided to make Milan, Italy their home.

So, will the wedding of Ashland and Victoria actually take place? Billy (Jason Thompson) wants it not to happen, and Victoria seems to be set on going through with it as an important business merger, more than a love-filled marriage.

Watch the “Next Week” on Y&R teaser below, and check out the wedding invitation following it, as well.

Now let us know, are you excited to see Skyle back on your screens? What do you think will happen at the wedding of Victoria and Ashland? Share your theories in the comment section.

I’m glad they’re wrapping this up properly but I’m not happy about Kyle’s horrific buzz cut. Nope, not happy at all.

Yup, Soaphound—-so happy to see these two—-not happy about the buzz-cut, either. I like to see a guy with a full head of hair—
I’m not happy about that poor “doll” baby Dominic either—-the swadling has to go—no wonder it cries so much—let it be free!! I promise the doll will stop crying. LOL.
It hasn’t been that long since I had a baby. When infants cry that much, their arms and legs flail all over the place—cannot keep him/her contained. Let’s add a modicum of reality and sanity into the mix, people!! This little thing is as stiff as a doll. Ha!!
I’m not happy about the Tuscan scenery either—-the furniture, indoors and outdoors is soooo wrong—-too much clutter. Too many flowers in vases—-sheer-draperies over doors—just not done in Italy—-especially in Firenze—-where are the terra cotta vases and containers?—-where is the rustic ambiance of the typical Florentine villa? The Etruscans flair? That’s what Tuscany is all about. I can’t believe I saw wooden posts reminiscent log cabins a’ la Americana.
No evidence of Etruscan legacy and influence. Bah-humbug. LOL.

PS.
I forgot to ask your opinion, Soaphound—-do you think there’s any chance that “Summer” and “Kyle” will re-surface? Just when I was getting comfortable with these two, the PTB decide to terminate them.
Also, do you think Mariah and Tessa will soon be history? I love Mariah—Camryn practically grew up on Y&R. But, I can’t stand Tessa and her constant-sad-demeanor. She’s like the Angel of Doom darkening Mariah’s aura.
Obviously Mariah can’t let go of Bowie—-I said as much before she even gave birth to him. Too much time was spent with only the baby as a lifeline—pardon the accidental pun—to keep her wits and sanity about her.
Lastly, pardon the typos —it’s the middle of the night, and there’s this owl right outside the window, driving me nuts.

Celia, Celia, thank heaven we are in sync. First, BIG mistake writing off Kyle. We’re short on “Abbott time” as it is and I like just looking at Michael M. (preferably with that gorgeous pompadour). Summer I can take or leave, though she’s a good actress. I think they need them both on the canvas, however. Next: Oh that villa! “Villa de Junko” you mean. That’s the most ridiculous collection of bric-a-brac a studio prop team has ever been coerced into assembling. I’d say ‘everything but the kitchen sink’ but I think I spotted one of those, too! Less is definitely more. Then, Tessa. I like Cait — she’s beautiful (though I suspect some unneeded collagen in those lips) and a decent actress. But the character just isn’t her own person; she only reacts to Mariah. BTW, how great is Camryn Grimes? I really feel for her situation but this just isn’t going to end well. I suspect Tessa will cave in on the baby plan; if not, I think Devon will be making another “donation” before New Year’s!

O my gosh, Soaphound—-I doubt these scenery makers have ever been to Italy or Tuscany. There is a word which Italian love to use describing such people–“cafone”.
Florence, which is home to many treasures from the art-world and their artists, has many rustic areas, where tiny, land winding paths, called “vichi” still exist.
I can’t even find the right words to describe the beauty and authenticity of Tuscany. As the phrase goes, “you hadda be there”.
The interior is just as farcical as the storylin—-
by getting rid of Kyle and Summer, TPTB did us a disservice and truly stuck their foot in their collective mouths.

Oh—yes, Soaphound. I forgot—-my sister-in-law, who is an avid Y&R fan, said she read some article about Mariah taking Abby to court for custody of Dominic. I don’t know how true that is—-sometimes what is printed is not necessarily true.
I didn’t see any of it—maybe because I don’t look for such news.
Personally, I think Devon is feeling paternal pangs himself.
Such an idiotic storyline—Chance, the absentee husband is a phantom Daddy. What a nondescript work of embroidery on the canvas!!
I have loved Mariah since she first appeared as Cassie. I was eight or nine, I think—–my grandmother used to record all the soaps for me. So many soaps—-I cried when AW went off the air!!
(Are we allowed to talk about collagen injections?) Shh!!
GH–Sam? Anna?
I appreciate Laura Wright—not one sign of a bee sting on her face. She’s naturally pretty and real.

Celia, As usual you are absolutely correct! I noticed that about Dominic last week. Y&R needs a shot in the arm!!

Thank you, Lew–it’s been a while since we had a good chat.
It’s so unrealistic when they use these “makeshift babies” who never seem to grow. Dominic will most likely be a neonate for months to come.
Take Henry on Days—-that kid is over a year old and still in a pram., crying like a newborn. He’s a toddler and as such he should constantly be on the move with Allie chasing after him.
But, we accept it because we love our soaps.

Actually I didn’t even recognize him at first, he looks very different – not just the hair though.

Are we even going to see the Summer/Kyle wedding?

The Summer/Kyle wedding happened off screen, so we won’t see it. Those of us that are fans of the two got cheated out of seeing them actually marry.

Yes, was let down to not see the wedding, however, recall their last nuptials and thought them lovely; simplicity, her gown, music, setting.
Circumstances were less than lovely, but for some reason it seemed perfection for me.

Michael Mealor got his hair cut shortly after leaving the show not thinking that he’d be back for a big affair such as this.

Thank god Summer and Kyle are back. Theres such a hole in the show with their departure. Its soo obvious now how those two carried the show awhile ago.
Besides the Vic/ Ashland story theres literally nothing else going on
Abby and Mariahs baby story cannot carry the show like Kyle and Summers story did.
How this show fills a whole week surronding only one good real storyline and one crappy one is beyond me.

Even more baffling is why no soap site( this one included) or SOD wont comment on the pathetic state of this show! Put Griffith and Morina on blast. Theres 2 storys, 3 sets, the horrid hotel and its cheap ikea suite and crimson lights. the once beautiful background music s which is trademark y n r s been subbed with garbage.
Its a empty shell of what once was. Sooo sad . I cant believe Griffith and Morina still have jobs

This show is a shell of its former self. It’s bad all around. The media outlets (this site included) usually reserve judgment until the end of the year when they make their pronouncements on which show was the best and which show was the worst. I suspect that Y&R will be in the bottom of the heap at years end, or at least close to it. B&B is also terrible.

All I want for the upcoming xmas is Josh Griffith fired. Toss Morina out too. Maybe im being greedy but Tessa, Abby and Devon can go bye aswell.

I feel very sorry for this show it has lost all guidance

In 2006 I do not remember who was writing for the show then but Lauren had Finn and all you ever saw was a doll like what’s happening now with Abbys child it is distracting I know their are rules and stipulations how long a baby can be on set but yes to viewers it is distracting . I do not recognize this show anymore and yes I am sad not mad just sad . I miss entertainment a time when you could just relax watch a soap yes you knew it was a soap but just enjoy it the younger viewers don’t know what they missed exciting stories etc I am sad

Kay…And it’s not just soap stories of yore the younger viewers have missed. There’s so many other things in entertainment, tv shows, music, and pre-internet/social media we all miss.

What isn’t working on Y&R? Characters without a purpose: 1) Elena & Nate – Give these two a storyline. I thought Imani was going to be in the mix? 2) Sally – Loved her on B&B, but this carbon copy Phyllis isn’t doing it for me. 3) Jack chasing after Phyllis- These two had their time and when they were together, she turned to someone else. 4) Mariah & Tessa – Not interested. Camryn Grimes is a good actress and deserves better material. 5) Kevin, Gloria, Michael, Lauren, Paul & Christine and Jill being back-burnered for new characters who are not interesting. I totally agree rhis show is a shadow of its former self.

Oh! 6) Kyle & Summer not being on the show. Their exit leaves a huge gap and can’t be filled by the crap we are getting now!

Lol….Michael, Lauren , Christine and Paul will never be front and center with Griffith or have been with any of the last regimes because those characters are complex and intelligent in their careers as Lawyers, prosecutors , police chief and business woman and need the storylines to mirror those lifestyles. Griffith i.e can only script stories as he goes along with no creativity, amateur and recycled garbage. We will never see a umbrella story involving all four about a shocking crime or riviting courtroom scene because Griffith is too basic. Pauls m.i.a as is the gc police station, Christine pops in to counsel that valley girl Abby while Nina s the new Esther, Lauren doed coffee shop talk with Gloria who is maybe sometimes back for good and Michaels the go to lawyer for G.C in a half eppy.

Gtiffith can barely even write a standard business story about Newman and Jabot or teen romance via Faith and Moses .

Hey Damien, You are correct, but GH has Alexis and she’s a lawyer and on contract. But, they don’t have Griffith as a head writer and are capable of telling stories that drag you in and have characters that have rooting value!

in spite of Nicki and Billy Boy’s interference, It looks like there will be a wedding. So nice that Kyle and Summer could make it.Too bad Mariah thought that Abby would not be able to get along without her in case that loaf of bread or whatever she’s been carrying around can’t get along with formula.
I record my shows so I can FF when Tessa starts her caterwauling and Ms.Brooks does her piano thing. These things, especially at a wedding bore me to tears, just not cultured enough I guess. Gee maybe Leslie and Nicki can do a little impromptu Chop-Sticks. I saw Sally in a little clip put the wedding gown in the chifferobe or whatever that is. Hope that tells us Victoria will probably adore it but will think it came from Lauren. I for one, hope the wedding goes as planned. I love Richard Burgi and think they make a very lovely couple but my soap conditioned head tells me that Ashland will suffer an attack of sorts, he already said he wasn’t feeling well and by the end of the ceremony or soon after. Victoria will be a very wealthy and desolate widow. I do hope I’m wrong!

Loaf of bread? Violet, you’re too funny…and accurate. A loaf of bread that GETS NO OXYGEN from the way they hold it. Oy! I like Richard Burgi, too, and I was hoping they weren’t going to trash the character as I feel they have. I keep waiting for yet ANOTHER shoe to drop but so far there have been more than a Jimmy Choo warehouse. And I hate the idea of Billy being vindicated and Victor made a fool. But it’s sure keeping me watching. And Sally and that blasted dress! Why not let Chloe offer the dress to Victoria or, better yet, EMAIL HER A PHOTO!!

Soaphound,
I just feel it’s movable or pliable whereas a bag of flour or sugar is just dead weight. I do not see this marriage happening. I think Ash will die either during or right after the wedding , leaving Victoria a very rich widow and owning the combined companies.

I was right – the big return of a Brooks sister that no one watching knows, to play here comes the bride on the piano. Maybe she and Jack will mention her long lost nephew, what’s his name…..

Matt Mathews,
Which nephew? Also, just pairing the names Leslie and Jack scares me. I can not see them as a couple but who knows?

Where are Billy’s and Victoria’s children? Why weren’t they at the wedding?

Renita Henson,
Shocked that we even got to see Harrison. They will probably show the two others later. I could not believe they were not there during the ceremony. Katie should have been a flower girl at least. With all the heavily decorated sets you would think they would have payed more attention to the wedding attendees.

Pity they didn’t ask Reid, Victoria’s son to the wedding. But then she didn’t involve Johnny or Katie either. Y and R didn’t even bother to include the day bit players for an in studio wedding…

Victoria was talking to Reed on the phone saying how sorry that he couldn’t be there.

It has been a bit dull around the Y&R, but admit a bit caught up in the Victoria/Ashland thing. I don’t exactly call it chemistry between the two, but see a connection with lots of possibilities and directions to take.

Thought the writers did a crazy but interesting thing with the wedding dress which provided a sharp turn for Sally. I couldn’t stand her when introduced to the show. Will see how the writing progresses.

Please get over this “Chance” thing!

Oh Tani, how right you are about dullsville. And what’s worse, all this wedding build up was a major letdown for me. I guess I expected some kind of DYNASTY wedding disaster from 1985. I expected Jesse Gaines to end up dead (sleazy guy but a kind-of sexy actor) and Ashland to be arrested or something. And how about that wacky priest! Even Sally couldn’t connect with that eccentric. What was CENTRAL CASTING thinking? And Chance has become practically a punchline. Does it take THAT LONG to find a decent replacement?

General Hospital Fall Preview

General Hospital’s co-head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte have given the ABC daytime drama’s fall preview of what to look for in the months ahead in Port Charles.

According to the scribes, as told to TV Insider,  “Unexpected arrivals, unexpected romance and unexpected connections,” are the order of the season, plus, “secrets are going to be exposed that will upend lives for better and worse — and new secrets will need to be kept.”

In the relationship department, don’t expect everything to go the way you may think! Let’s take a look at some of the highlights that point to some major moments in the near future on GH.

Photo: ABC

ROMEO AND JULIET

“The conflict between Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) will continue to build with potentially fatal consequences,” shared the head writers as Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) and Rocco’s (Finn Carr) relationship gets more solid, the more it will be tried to be pulled apart, especially by Drew. This is what they are calling their “Romeo and Juliet” young love story.

BURYING JACK BRENNAN

Nina (Cynthia Watros) will be in the hot seat, thanks to evidence planted by Drew and Carly (Laura Wright) overhearing her threatening the MIA Jack. According to the GH head writers, “Nina may face a dark future — but perhaps not as dark a future as those who seek her downfall.” Meanwhile Ava (Maura West) and Drew’s unholy alliance will have “repercussions for years to come.” Let’s not forget they buried Jack’s body.

JASON AND BRITT MAY NOT LAST

Those who wanted Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) romance to come to an end, may get their wish! As the head scribes shared, “Decisions Britt made to stay alive while under (Ross) Cullum’s thumb will come back to haunt her and may prove too difficult for this unlikely couple to survive.”

Photo: ABC

ANNA’S BREAKING POINT AND CAN VALENTIN STAY AWAY ?

As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who Jason is trying to save and who has lost her way (thanks to visions of Peter August) and being gaslighted by Cullum and company, it will, “lead to her breaking point and  may lead another person to an early grave.” On that note, Carly and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) relationship is tested after his attempt to buy back Spoon Island. Only problem is someone else got their first, and it may be hard for Valentin to deny his feelings for Anna aren’t greater than he thinks.

Photo: ABC

BROOK LYNN’S LIFE AS SHE KNOWS IT BLOWS UP IN HER FACE

The writers added, “Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) face a turning point. Her secret may finally unravel their marriage; worse, it may leave the family vulnerable when someone comes calling with a claim on Phoebe.” Will Chase now hop between the sheets with his ex Willow? And, will Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) stake his claim to be the father of the little Phoebe? How can Brook Lynn’s life as she knows it survive this?

TRINA’S STALKER … WHO IS IT?

Does Trina (Tabyana Ali) have a stalker … or a true number one genuine fan? Whatever the case, something ominous is going to happen to Kai (Jen Austin Astrup), when the GH writers shared, “Kai is true blue and will step up to defend Trina— but his closeness to Trina may prove detrimental to his health.” In addition, the stalker situation pairs up Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Trina to try get to the bottom of who is behind it, but in doing so, may have put a target on Emma’s back.

Photo: ABC

‘BLOODY’ SITUATION WHERE JOSSLYN IS CONCERNED

Josslyn  Eden McCoy) gets new orders from the WSB after Brennan goes missing, and things may get “bloody” report the writers. They add, “Joss has her sights set on Sonny — but she’s a target, too. JJE is a big prize, and she isn’t the only one entitled to it.” Who else could be?

Photo: ABC

PAST ROMANCE FOR ALEXIS COMES BACK AROUND

Could Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric (Rick Hearst) find themselves in each other’s arms? According to the GH head writers, “A past romance will rear its head in a surprising way,” for Alexis. Who else could it be if not Ric, who may feel jilted by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) if she and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) get any closer? Might it be the return of Jerry Jacks?

MICHAEL AND JORDAN BECOME CLOSE

Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) will develop a “special bond” while working together at Aurora and while Curtis (Donnell Turner) is away in prison. However, “a face from Jordan’s past will complicate her future. We’ll start to learn more about the woman Jordan was before she ever joined the DEA and came to Port Charles.” Is this William Baines (Alimi Ballard) or someone else yet to arrive? Stay tuned.

So, which of the story points listed above pique’s your interest the most? Are you excited about the fall on General Hospital? Let us know your thoughts via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Promo: Women on the Edge

Published

By

General Hospital has released their official video teaser for all-new episodes starting today on September 8 through September 11. In it, several women in Port Charles have reached their breaking point. Who will do or say something they cannot come back from? Let’s take a look!

First, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) in tears and who is wracked with guilt, might be forced to admit her cover-up in driving a car after having a bit to drink to get to her son Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) performance. Brook Lynn believes she was the driver of the other car involved in Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) car accident.

In the Quartermaine living room, Trina confronts her with, “Were you the driver who kept going and left them there to die?” What will BLQ say? And, is the moment that Chase (Josh Swickard) is so fed up with his wife, he hightails it to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)? Stay tuned.

SIX FEET UNDER

Then, with Jack out of the picture (and buried six feet under), Drew (Cameron Mathison) feels vindicated and that he holds all the cards and confronts his now ex-wife for shooting him in the back. Willow blurts out with indignation, “Prove it!” Will this be Willow’s ultimate downfall or Drew’s?

Next, WSB agent Baines (Alimi Ballard) is on the case of Brennan’s disappearance and confronts Carly (Laura Wright) and says, “When was the last time you saw Jack Brennan?”

Will she flip the situation and throw shade at Nina (Cynthia Watros) and tell Baines she heard and saw Nina threatening to kill Jack? We already know Drew is setting Nina to take the fall for Jack’s murder, too!

INTO THE WOODS

Finally, Jason (Steve Burton) has located Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Anna (Finola Hughes) in the woods. He asks Anna to stop, just as it appears she is going to pull the trigger and end the life of Dr. Britt Westbourne.

Shots are fired after Anna says, “This has to end tonight!” Do you think anyone was on the receiving end of a bullet, or did Jason save the day?

Check out the official GH promo for this week entitled “The Fallout Continues” below and our previously reported additional spoilers for the action in Port Charles here.

Now weigh-in: Do you think GH has several ladies on the brink of disaster? Who do you think will end up A-OK, and whose life do you think may be vastly altered by week’s end? Let us know your thoughts and theories via the comment section.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Trina Demands Answers from Brook Lynn, Scout Questions Rocco, and Can Anna Pull the Trigger on Britt?

Published

By

This week on General Hospital, the week kicks-off on Labor Day with a rebroadcast of the special episode dedicated to Anthony Geary (ex-Luke Spencer). The eight-time Daytime Emmy winning star passed away in December of 2025 and come February 2026, GH crafted a tribute in his honor with the story centering on Luke’s daughter, Lulu (Alexa Havins) mourning the loss of her father.

Then, all-new episodes begin on Tuesday, September 8 and in the video teaser for it, Trina (Tabyana Ali) continues confronting Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) at the Quartermaines, demanding to know if BLQ was behind the wheel of the other car that “caused” the accident that injured Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and her father Curtis (Donnell Turner), who is now spending jail time after being found guilty of assaulting Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) believing he was the other driver who caused the accident.

Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarksi) questions Rocco (Finn Carr), if their first kiss together was “OK?” What will be his answer? Meanwhile, Isaiah continues to question Ava (Maura West), wanting to know where she has been in the last 24 hours that she would have had a very dangerous tick stuck in her scalp? What will she say to get out of the fact that along with Drew (Cameron Mathison), she was burying Jack Brennan’s body in the woods.

Photo: ABC

Then, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is seen talking with Sonny (Maurice Benard), where she says, “It’s time to change tactics!” Most likely, she is talking about dealing with Drew’s threats. Meanwhile, Drew is on the warpath and Ava tries to talk him down by saying, “Don’t you think calling the sheriff is a little extreme?” Why does Drew want to call the sheriff?

Finally, in the pick up from last Friday’s cliffhanger where Anna (Finola Hughes) pulled a gun on Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in the middle of nowhere, Anna says, “I’m not going to let you stop me!” Who is she talking to? Is it Jason (Steve Burton) who found out Britt’s location … or Britt herself? Stay tuned.
