Is James Patrick Stuart About To Bring Villainy To New Heights On General Hospital?

Circle you calendars for Friday July 8th. That is when former All My Children villain, James Patrick Stuart (Ex-Will Cortlandt) returns to daytime soaps in his new role. And that role is turning out to be quite the humdinger!
In this week’s issue of Soap Opera Digest, Stuart revealed that his entrance as mysterious newbie known as “Theo” will be very exciting for soap fans who took to social media in support of the actor when this bit of casting news originally broke. James expressed on his upcoming on-air GH debut: “There were a lot of people who were very generous and I don’t think they are going to be disappointed. I think they are going to realize that I’m not sneaking in to Port Charles – I’m coming in loud and serious.”
Then came the news Friday from Daytime Confidential saying that their sources are hearing that Stuart is actually coming on board GH as Valentin Cassadine, the role that was originally slated to be Matt Borlenghi’s, who also appeared on AMC. In 2009, that storyline was scrapped and never got back up on its feet till now. When reports of the never-before-heard-of Cassadine hit the media 7 years ago, he was being primed as the most evil of the whole clan!
GH has made no official comment or confirmation on Stuart’s role, but all signs indicate that Stuart will turn out to be Valentin.
So, is James Patrick Stuart about to shake-up Port Charles? Will Valentin be pure evil? What is he coming on to the canvas to do? Is their trouble ahead for Nikolas and Laura? Share your theories in the comment section below!
Hmmmm. A mean, ole Cassadine? Nathan’s Daddy?
Possibly…they are 16 years apart in age but it could still work…mutter did warn Nate’s father was someone very evil….
Of course it could work, Jimmy, my friend. It’s GH where Nancy G is 10 years older than William deV, yet Alexis is 4 years younger than Julian…LOL.
I can still remember Liesl saying how much worse Nathan’s father was than Victor Cassadine.
We shall see by Dr. O’s reaction when she comes face to face with Valentin if he is, indeed, Nathan’s father.
Now that would be something worth tuning in to see, CeeCeeGirl! “Frankenjelly’s” recent obsession with pushing their latest pet, Hayden—and her so-called backstory—has been such a turnoff for me, I’ve been abstaining from GH for months now….as if Nina, Val, Jordan, Nurse Amy, the sadly-returned Sabs and all the other insipid newbies weren’t already enough to drive me away for good!!! But seeing Doctor O encountering Nathan’s “daddy” ala Valentin would be worth the price of admission, indeed!
I just think Valentin is too young to be Nathan’s father. Plus, do you really think Valentin and Lisel had sex? I think Valentin is way out of her league!
Cee, will FINALLY get our Valentin! He looks VERY evil. He might make Helena look like a pussy cat!
Tee-hee with delight, my Timmmbo. I hope so! I want a meanie on stage. I wish we could get Faison back as a double treat. He bedevils me in the most hilarious way. Plus, Anders Hove is Nordic—-my people!! LOL.
@Timmm…..Given Dr. O’s terrified reaction to the mention of Nathan’s “real” father, I’ve always surmised that her son was a product of a sexual assault, not a romance. If Valentin was lurking in the shadows of the legitimate Cassadines’ lives, he may have felt a good way to take down Victor was to force himself upon his intended ladylove, Liesl. At least that’s the vibe I’ve sensed from her…this is a woman who doesn’t scare easily, and yet she is obviously totally spooked by the evil truth about Nathan’s paternity.
I’ll have to see the proof of his promise to come in “loud and serious.” Hasn’t happened with Bree Williamson.
And Laura and Kevin? Just a brief peek on Tue.–why start the Nikolas “story,” the Bree “story” (with Nathan), when the potential is there for the very best actor–Genie Francis is languishing–and Genie–with full contract–twisting in the proverbial wind?
Can’t figure TPTB out at all. They let so much slip between their fingers while peppering the screen with so many new characters/actor replacements that we can’t keep up? Bad planning, bad timing–makes for bad “drama” (read “no drama at all”). So very sad–and unnecessary. Can’t they get a clue???? Still??????
Yes! I hope it is true that Stuart will turn out to be Valentin. I have always wanted to see the man who terrified Helena Cassadine. What would even be better would be the revelation that Valentin killed Helena.
well at least he’s connected to a major family on the show so hopefully Laura will have major airtime. V
True it would be nice to see Laura have more air time. But heaven forbid Laura have something non-Cassidine and non-Luke related to do. (Beecher’s Corners, Campus Disco) I wish they would give her a story line that didn’t involve them or her health. Her character shines best in the stories where Laura was allowed to have a job or a project. As a young woman she worked for ELQ. In her 30’s she had a job she loved. Or at least show her with Kevin more and let it eventually branch into another hospital job for her….anything. If they keep wanting her to portray a maternal, angelic character, at least give her a job at the hospital in the pediatric floor or something. I wish they would tap into her bada$$ side and let her work a desk job at PCPD where she could be privy to Mayor Lomax, the D.A., Anna and Jordan. It would also allow for some awkward in-law moments with her working within range of Dante. The writers could let her run Kellly’s Diner. I’d be happy with something more than the scraps they’ve been giving her. Every time I think a story is going somewhere with her, I have to wait what feels like a month before I see another snippet.
And maybe Laura will become a stripper for Sonny! Everything you dont want her to do, THATS what she is known for! She will ALWAYS be connected to Luke! If she wasnt she wouldnt be back on the show! I like her and Kevin’s story but the writers just dont know anything they can do to make it interesting! I love Genie but its over!
Your are echoing my sentiments exactly–GIVE GENIE/LAURA SOMETHING TO DO. All of your suggestions are GREAT!
Let the games begin!
Yes, Tomas. I like that! Let the games begin.
I bet Valentin is hiding out in Greece, at the Cassadine ‘hold’.
Oh my god the man is drop dead gorgeous! Ouch l Lordy I have never seen this man act but God almighty he is drop dead in yourbtracks
So good luck to you bud whoa
WOW!!
Sorry Cee but the man turns my toes up God he spells sexuality he is just a turn on now can he act? Lol
As for Laura that ship sailed their is a issue with her and ABC
He reminds me of my husband not a pretty boy just has that sexual thing going on! I like it
Kay he’s also a good actor. He was really good as Will Cortlandt.
Good choice. What do you know about Genie and ABC? Come on, spill!
Hey, Kay….I get it !!!!! That’s why I’m “wowing” you. More power to you…you go, girl !!!!
forthright is best
LOL
I saw your post and wanted to thank you foremost… that he’s a handsome guy… this thread curled something else
I know… he can act… he was the end result of a big story on AMC… he was a good act on AMC
Yeah, Kay….what Harry said….SPILL.
I seem to remember you saying, way back, that your brother-in-law worked at ABC. Was that you, or another poster? Enlighten us!! C’mon, Kay!! LOL.
@k/kay…..Just so they keep him away from Alexis…..he fits her typical “turns up her toes” template, too!!!!
He is quite the competent actor. He would’ve, also, been an excellent Julian. Imo. He’ll knock it out of the park. I’ve seen his work before. Mostly prime time gigs.
ok-
”’Is James Patrick Stuart About To Bring Villainy To New Heights On General Hospital?”
No.
Jean and Shelly are weak writers and could not a ‘villain’ justice.
If he is indeed a Cassidine that will be a very good thing, I would like that.
But-
He can only be as treacherous as the writers can make him and to create a great dark villain can not be done by all writers.
Great villains are layered and play in many directions, to keep all on gard.
It will be interesting.. (most likely Finns medical dealer or to take over Nikolas as head of the Cassidine family by saving Nicolas and the cassidine fortune )
All very excellent propositions, su. I really want him to be Nathan’s father. I want Valentin to be an unscrupulous devil, who knows not he has a son.
But, when he finds out that Nathan is his son, he will make a complete transformation.
Oh, yeah! Pipe dreams. LOL.
I agree Su, can these writers write a good Cassadine villain?
Well this is just huge. I mean when you think about what will raise GH ratings and bring GH fans back to the show, first thing that comes to mind is a guy who was on AMC and who played Todd Gack on Seinfeld twenty years ago playing Valentin Cassadine, another new character.
I mean it worked so well with Howarth, Stafford, Budig, they have really done wonders for ratings. And of course the recent must return of Michael Easton and that huge fan base of his that just raise GH to another level. Now Todd Gack playing a new character. Sure he’s a Cassadine and one that is known among the GH social media chattering class and that’s all.
Jelly is here nine months and already digging for ideas that Guza left on the scrap heap.
Your points are valid but what would raise ratings? I’m not sure anything would do it at this point. It is what it is….
GH may be too far gone. But what is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result…
Ron is gone a year, ratings are just about the same and Frank continues to bring on new characters and new actors as he tries more and more to make the other failed newbies like Howarth and Budig work. Friz is “huge”, just huge, so much “Buzz” on three soap sites and twitter, the majority of which come from the same handful of posters and accounts and what percentage are accounts associated with GH/ABC, working social media to try and crate that buzz?
The only option for GH is to attract lapsed viewers and the only way to do that is giving them GH characters and actors they know and would like to see again, just like you would do for any soap. If Frank were given the chance to reboot OLTL, would he put Todd, Blair, Tea & McBain on the backburner or force them into supporting roles and pairings with a dozen new characters played by actors who spent years on Y&R, Days, ATWT, AMC and GH? I don’t think so.
FYI: James Patrick Stewart didn’t portray Todd Gack on Seinfeld. He portrayed a character named Brett. The actor who did portray Todd Gack is named John D’Aquino. 😉
Oops! I misspelled James last name……should be Stuart not Stewart. Sorry!!!
Wow, my Seinfeld memory is starting to fade. I knew he played the guy Elaine dated who loved Desperado and thought it was Gack. Gack was the guy who kept making bets he knew he would lose to date women.
All true but AJQ, this character may be a Cassadine and THAT could make a difference!
Yes…Valentin-he will cause trouble for Nik and take over Windmere…and he is obsessed with Laura which will also put Kevin’s life in danger and will also reveal he had a child with Laura while she was in mental ward and unbeknownst to Laura-their son is already in PC-the guy who pretends to be interested in Kristina who is really trying to get info on Sonny for his father who is plotting against Sonny to takeover everything Sonny owns including Corinthos coffee-i smell something brewing there-lol….just kidding-lol
Okay, Jimmy. I’ll buy that! It can’t be weirder than Fluke and all his strange trimmings.
You miss Tony!
Get your butt to L.A.! That is good stuff there Jimmy!
This is said from a professional point of view; regardless of the rumors about him and Genie, that circulate. After all is said and done? I love Genie more. I am so enjoying the bits and pieces of her scenes with Kevin and Spencer….craving for more. LOL.
Talent is talent, and Genie is a powerful talent, as well.
So clever, Jimmy. LOL. I can smell that coffee brewing, myself….with Baileys.
I, also, do smell a rat, though. Christina’s new beau is very iffy to me.
And Cee, try snacking with pretzels while drinking your coffee and Baileys!
Aaron is connected to someone who is trying to get inside info on Sonny’s business. Not a bad job with Kristina being included in his “Inside” job! Feel sorry for her, though!
@Timmm.
Lol. I am sooooo NOT into this guy, Timmmy, that for a sec I didn’t know who you were talking about….forgot his name.
I agree, Aaron struck me as a baddie from the get-go. I am starting to really get into Kristina…..I liked the other one much more. But, this girl is starting to win me over. She is really good. I saw her in an episode of LAW AND ORDER:SVU. i hope I am not confusing the show.
Nevertheless, her acting moved me….stellar.
I feel for her quandary, as well. It is obvious she’s not over Parker. And, I have this nagging suspicion that Aaron knows everything there is to know about her.
You guys can be real weasels!! HaHa.
I think Valentin’s introduction will be an instant success — how could it be anything else coming from the head writing team responsible for such “memorable” plots as Rachel Berlin (daughter of Raymond Berlin, master of the off-camera Ponzi scheme); Claudette, the green-card lovin’ French Canadian; the Weeping Nyad; Valerie walking her beat on third floor pediatrics just in time to arrest Finn; criminal mastermind Julian being stupid enough to believe that his menopausal wife is pregnant; and a two men fighting over Kiki of all people.
Paging Ron Carlivati stat…
I love it lol. Not everything has been bad though. I do prefer Ron’s writing style to the current writers.
Too funny, Alan. Every storyline is flawed with a myriad of inconsistencies.
From what I remember of Greek Mythology, a Nyad or Naiad, is a water nymph….so, it would be fair to say she was always wet….thus, weeping. LOL.
This must be one of the most stupid names ever given to an inanimate object since Naiads are well known to be femmes fatales……perilous, and simply do not cry. I suppose this particular piece was a phenomenon?
Here’s hoping that ridiculous Weeping Nyad doesn’t become GH’s version of Y&R’s Grudgeon Reliquary (anybody remember that mess…?)
@Alan.
Yup…..or that calamitous elephant (DOOL).
Very talented actor and it is great to have the legacy of the Cassadines back..This is probably tie to the Laura storyline which features Kevin, helping find the riddle that Helena left her..Laura and Kevin have great chemistry. Hope they get more screen time!
Most likely the head writers will drop the ball and make this another anti climatic storyline! GH does not “WOW ” anymore like the previous head writer did!
WE are all hoping for more screen time for Laura and Kevin–but what’s this about ABC and Genie Francis? Are they so small-minded that they can’t let bygones be bygones –if Genie was willing to come back after all they–and TG–put her through–blacklisting her, etc.,–why can’t they give their viewers what they obviously want? Genie is just waiting to break loose and let it rip–I saw it again today as she interacted with “Spencer”–her quizzical expressions and her sparkling smile–and that great laugh of hers. But, alas, TPTB seem determined to extinguish any spark of her original character. Can’t believe it! Go, Genie!
Theo was the Balkan’s real name. Thanks, I really wanted to be reminded of that story.
Nathan go meet your new daddy.
Ah, Lou; you think he is Nathan’s Dada, too? I have been saying this for so long now. No one ever pays attention to what I say, though. LOL.
Kidding aside, I don’t feel so ‘alone’ with my views, now.
Don’t worry Celia I got your back. If he isn’t Nathan’s I’ll buy you a lollipop. Lol
You shouldnt say “No One” my little firecracker!
I love watermelon flavor, Lou. Thanks.
@Timmm.
You’re right, my champion. You’re always there when I need you. XXOO
These ladies are really weak writers. We need strong writers for these soaps!
Yes!
I’m volunteering! Any other takers? Harry, come on! 🙂
I am sure the story will be underwhelming
lol! I’m with you.
Some of these comments really crack me up. Every GH comments section for months, years in some cases, was full of people complaining about how they needed to get rid of Ron Carlivati as head writer, cause he had ruined GH, blah, blah, blah, and all the other nonsense. Now we have people complaining about the current writers, and asking for Carlivati back. What’s next, asking for Bob Guza back? Another guy that people were looking to run off the show for years. You can’t make this stuff up, lol.
And then of course if they brought back Carlivati, Guza, or any other writer, invariably those same people would be on here pissing and moaning a few weeks later, talking about how they need to fire this one or that that one, cause some people are never happy with anything and just live to complain.
Myself, I’ve been watching GH for 36 years, and I’m just glad it’s still on the air. I’ll gladly take the ups and downs that every writing team has over the show not being here anymore, like the fans of OLTL, AMC, GL, ATWT, and many other shows had to endure. I’ve seen GH at its best, I’ve seen it at its worst. It’s certainly not at its best currently, but it’s entertaining and riveting enough to keep me coming back, and that’s all that matters. There have been times when that wasn’t the case. My point, take the good with the bad, and be thankful we still have a General Hospital to watch and commiserate about every week.
As far as Valentin Cassadine goes, if that is indeed who James Patrick Stuart will be playing, we’ve been hearing about that character for years, the show needs a new villain instead of rehashing all the ones ones, and if it gets Genie Francis on screen more, it’s all a positive for me. Color me intrigued.
Hello, GH1980. I have only been watching for two years. I, among most, am not complaining ……we/I are critiquing.
You must be so proud to be a long-time viewer and fan; and, yes, you are so correct…..I have said, myself, many a time that I’ll take all soaps with all their flaws than not have any shows at all.
If this forum had been available decades ago, I am sure the same ‘complaining’ as you put it, would have also been going on.
‘Tis human nature to react to what we see. I have been watching soaps with my Gran since I was little; and, believe me, she constantly made remarks. She still does….it does not mean she or I do not love our soaps. I love my family to death, but, sometimes Its members annoy the living daylights out of me. Perfect analogy, I’d say!!
Thank you for your response. I agree with your sentiments. I think it’s legitimate to critique and I think people on this forum have also been good at saying what they like about he show too.
@Melissa.
The thanks should go to you, Melissa.
I speak my mind, and I perceive myself as being quite fair when I discuss anything on these sites.
Needless to say, it is demoralizing
when the few who think to admonish our writing in subtle ways , what they say goes in one ear and out the other. If I am not leaning anything by what they say, they, then there is no point. Obviously, many of us derail but, when it is done with a sense of humor; ‘all is well that ends well’.
I appreciate the fact that you ‘get’ my sentiment, per se. The whole point Mr. Fairman gives an introduction and then asks ( and I use the verb loosely) to opine is very telling. We are here to discuss….it’s an open field. Good or bad…..not everything is flowers and rainbows. As long as there is no name calling and our writing is kept clean, why not say what we feel?
I don’t care who the writers are. I don’t even keep track of their names, Melissa. If I feel that a segment, scene etc. is good/great/fulfilling, I will say do and vice versa.
Later.
I agree GH1980. All critics all the time. Tedious…
When Ron first came to GH he saved it. He brought back veterans we all missed; loosened the grip of the mob and reinstated the Nurses Ball. I think most of us were vocal then about what a great job he was doing. But he did go off the rails eventually, especially with the Fluke storyline. The pacing of stories was really off and he brought back two major characters only to kill them off again. Storylines faded for weeks or were dropped all together. But I always appreciated that he revived GH and brought it back from the brink of cancellation. Jelly has some of the same problems Ron had especially with pacing. There are too many characters and stories. I have to think it’s the EP who is insisting on this. The only thing I can guess is that the more people you have the less screen time for everyone and the fewer contracts you have to write. So at the end of he day you are actually saving money by having so many actors around. I’d have a kinder view of Jelly if they could hit the same highs Ron did. I mean when Ron’s writing was good it was exceptional. Jelly has yet to have one exceptional or compelling story. To be honest I think what this show needs is a new EP who will trim cast and let the writers really focus on telling stories that have a beginning, middle and end.
Count me in also as a 36+ viewer! And, we are on the same page (of course!) re Genie–agree fully: “if it gets Genie onscreen more, it’s all positive for me” also.
We know a great actress when we see one–and we’ve seen plenty of proof over these 36+ years, haven’t we?
Hi Nancy, always good to hear from another longtime viewer! We’ve certainly seen GH through the ups and downs, the good, the bad and the ugly.
I’ve been a huge fan of Genie since the first time I saw her. Such a beautiful, radiant, classy woman, and a great actress on top of it, which she’s shown so many times over the years when given quality material. Sadly, she hasn’t been given much this time around. I’m liking the storyline possibilities of Laura and Kevin together, it’s been wonderful to see Jon Lindstrom back in the fold again, as well. But if they are only on screen once or twice every 2 weeks or so, it’s really hard to get invested in any story.
I’m holding out hope that the debut of a new Cassadine will bring our Genie back on screen a lot more often. To have an actress of her talent and her rich history on the show and not use it more often is a shame.
Thanks Nancy for your comments, as well as Celia, Melissa, and Rebecca1, who all took the time to reply in this thread. I appreciate everyone’s candor. Have a great day! Long live GH!
That was a very sweet reply GH1980. Thank YOU for being such a pleasant person. 🙂
I guess I should be excited. This character could mean more air time for Laura, Nic, Dr. O, and Nathan.
But as I look over the GH canvas of Characters, I’m looking for who the hero in supposed to be in this cast; someone over 35 as the lead.
Aren’t soaps suppose to have a leading man who is the hero? Heck, I’m not even sure who the lead heroine is supposed to be.
And now a definite villain is coming on; yet, another one.
You said it!
Every character on this show is a villain. WTH is so different about him ?
The more we complain about the evil mob, now even Anna a killer albeit one who is now in bed with the mob. We get Another evil Cassidine ?
I for one will NOT be coming back to see this. Even Laura couldn’t get me to do that.
See ya!
bye bye!!!
Proving my point once again–we beg for Laura–STILL don’t get her–though she has a “contract.” Where’s the logic in that? None whatsoever.
Awesome!!!!
It really amazes me how ungrateful SOME soap fans can be! Not all, but SOME. I mean, here we have this handsome actor who can ACT who may be part of the Cassadines and will draw major front burner talent to the forefront and what do we get here, people threatening to quit watching the show, people bashing the writers or saying how Genie BETTER be involved! If I were a waiter in this restaurant I would QUIT! Kudos to GH1980, who said it best, he or she is just happy GH is still on. Amen!
hey Timmm !
I am luvin him 😉
Ditto!
PREACH.
The operative word here is “can.” I say prove it.
The show needs a villain who is a villain while multi layered he still a dastardly villain who is evil. Every character doe not have to have redeeming qualities. It’s been far too long since someone the whole canvas could get together against came to town. Thanks. Bring it on
Valentin Cassadine is the previously unknown son of Mikkos Cassadine and an unknown woman. According to his step-mother, Helena, he is more treacherous than any other Cassadine. He was disowned by Mikkos years ago and hadn’t been heard from since. Helena sought him out thinking she could control him, but she was very wrong.
Helena made a confession to her grandson, Nikolas and Luke that Valentin was a major threat and he wouldn’t stop until he destroyed both the Cassadines and the Spencers.
On July 1, Soap Opera Digest confirmed that he is set to debut on July 8.
So then, su, when Dr. O said Nathan’s father was so much worse than Victor…..the worst, in fact ; do you think she meant Valentin?
Hi Celia..
that is the way it looks..
I really really really hope J&S don’t turn this magnificent Cassidine into a powder puff as they did poor Sonny..(they castrated my Sonny and are carrying his cojones in their purses 🙁 🙁
I hope they can write the dark cassadine evile! put some oomph into the devil himself..LOL
Love this new blood if it gets the vets more screen time. This may not be the most popular choice but I would like to see Valentin v Nicholas w Liz mixed in. I will say the writers need to back off this Webber family history redux. While Franco and Liz may be interesting I want Liz and Sam’s story’s away from each other. Enough is enough and if they have Liz w Franco we will have Jason telling Liz he will take Jake away from her.
I’m waiting for the “ooomph”–been waiting SO very long. 🙂
That’s the Despardo guy from Seinfield…and Guy from Fraser
Why does he keep being referred to by three names…. like criminals? Ha
I figure he is yet another uncle to nicholas. We’ve already seen his fathef a few times… how many times has he “died” now?
The Nicholas temp reminds me more or one of the AJ replacements in the past. Either way, Nik kissing Ava…. blech

Billy Miller Memorial Scholarship Endowment Created at His Alma Mater to Help Others ‘Realize Their Dreams’

Two months since three-time Daytime Emmy-winning actor, Billy Miller passed away, the beloved All My Children (ex-Richie), General Hospital (ex-Jason/Drew) and The Young and the Restless (ex-Billy) star, will now have a permanent scholarship endowment in his honor at the University of Texas at Austin which was Miller’s alma mater.
Through the scholarship, it will be able to help radio/television and film undergraduate students with financial need. Billy’s family and friends have established this permanent scholarship in his memory, naming it the William Jon Miller II “Billy Miller” Memorial Scholarship. They hope the endowment will be a legacy to his life and love of acting.
Before becoming soap-famous, Billy graduated from the the university’s department of Radio-Television-Film (RTF) at the Moody College of Communication. On its official website, they shared the news of this special memorial scholarship and how Miller died at the age of 43 after surrendering his life to bipolar depression, which he struggled with his whole life.

Photo: JPI
Megan Hubbell, Billy’s sister, expressed, “We want something positive to be held in his name in perpetuity through the University he loved. He would be honored to know that even in death, he can help someone else realize their dreams.”
She added how she hoped her immensely talented brother will be remembered: “I hope BJ (as Billy was known by to his friends and family) is remembered for the kind-hearted, silly, funny, goofy, generous, beautiful soul that he was His megawatt smile, deep belly laugh and gorgeous mug were gifts on screen, but his true self was a bright light that will be carried with us forever.”

Photo: JPI
According to Miller’s family, Billy had his picks of schools and UT was his first choice. When he first came to the university, Billy started in the zoology program before switching to radio-television-film, where he felt he belonged. Miller was one of just 20 students at the time accepted into the department’s prestigious production-sequence program.
“BJ was extremely proud to be a Texas Longhorn and always remembered his time there fondly,” Hubbell said. “The time he spent at UT allowed him the space to explore who he wanted to be and what he wanted to accomplish.”

Photo: JPI
In honoring her brother’s work and strength to persevere in the often heartbreaking world of entertainment, Megan related: “I always admired the guts it took to go after a dream in Hollywood that so many people tried to discourage. He heard, ‘You’ll never make it’ more times than I care to count, but he used those comments as fuel and said, ‘Watch me.’”
Miller’s roles went far beyond those on daytime soap operas, as throughout his career he played major parts in primetime’s Suits, Ray Donovan and Castle to name but a few.

Photo: JPI
In his death, Billy’s family is encouraging people to take stock of their own mental health. “BJ would want anyone struggling with intrusive thoughts to seek professional help,” Hubbell said. “Do not suffer in silence or try to muscle through on your own. Mental health is vitally important and shouldn’t be spoken about in silos behind closed doors but rather in open forums with open arms. Shame has no place in the discussion to seek help.”

‘Live with Kelly and Mark’ Scores Touchdown in Ratings with Taylor Swift-Inspired ‘Halloween: The Eras Show’ Delivering Largest Audience In Over A Year

More great numbers for Live with Kelly and Mark. The talk shows Live’s Halloween: The Eras Show scored an impressive 2.9M total viewers on October 31, making it the most-watched Halloween episode in four years, according to the Nielsen ratings.
The episode also delivered some of the highest ratings in seven months for the morning show, particularly among women 18-49 and 25-54. Live’s Halloween: The Eras Show also pulled in a 1.92 household rating, as well as a 0.47 among women in the key 18 to 49 demo and a 0.69 among women 25 to 54. Those are up over the last two years of Halloween episodes and since Consuelos first started in the co-host chair back in April.
According to Deadline, Live’s Halloween: The Eras Show, also pulled in the largest audience numbers for a single episode in more than a year and half.

As is tradition with “Live’s Halloween” episodes, they are always filled with costume and pop culture moments and special guest surprises. Ripa and Consuelos were right in step with the biggest social media love story at the moment; that of Swift and her burgeoning romance with Kansas City Chiefs Tight End, Travis Kelce.
During Halloween week which started on Monday, October 30, Live was up up 11% versus the week prior in total viewers, and averaged 2.6 million viewers throughout the week. Year-over-year, the talk show was up that week by 15% in terms of total viewers. It looks like the former All My Children’s alum on-screen chemistry is just as palpable as it off-screen; as the two marrieds are making quite a successful run together on morning television.

‘All My Children’ Star Peter White Dead at 86
