Days Of Our Lives
It's The EJami Wedding On DAYS! But Will Sami Expose EJ To Be A Liar and A Cheat?

Courtesy/NBC
There is never anything simple with Days of our Lives EJami! And this week on the NBC soap opera it’s finally EJ (James Scott) and Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) wedding day! But as we now know, Sami has been well aware that EJ and Abigail (Kate Mansi) had an affair and she is laying what she feels is the perfect revenge plot, but will it backfire?
Will Sami expose EJ and Abigail publicly? After all, she even has Abigail as the maid of honor! Alison Sweeney previewed Sami’s wedding conflict in this week’s Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now: “Sami is very focused on the anger and you don’t know if she will go through with her plans. Then while Sami is walking down the aisle, she has a fantasy of EJ and Abby kissing and Sami almost kind of faints, and the emotions start to get the best of her. You start to realize she is on thin ice.”
Watch this week’s promo from Days of our Lives after the jump! Then, let us know how you think things will play out? Will Sami reveal that she knows Abigail and EJ had a fling? Does she want to catch the two of them together? Since it appears that Sami marries EJ, will she realize she can’t go through with her revenge plan and just stay married to the guy? Weigh-in!
Please Ejami stay together at all costs! I want this whole affair to be a trashy dream sequence. Eijami better leave the show together, in love and happy. Oh, these writers really annoy me-are they really inconsiderate enough to make us wait all these years for this happily ever after and then ruin it for us? C’mon Sami- I know I sound hypocritical in telling you to forgive Ej as I could not forgive a cheater, but please-it is Ejami and that is worth fighting for!!!
Its a Days wedding…somethings got to go wrong…lol…me thinks Sami dumps E.J. and runs off with the kids and E.J. goes looking for them(this kind of gives them a continuing story after they leave the show)…no such thing as a happy ending on soaps!!!
I hope Sami dumps EJ on his ass. They do not belong together. I would’ve preferred her with Lucas, which they toyed with before, and I’m sad it didn’t work out!
I agree…i always liked Sami and Lucas better as a couple…the were kind of like the love/hate relationship of Alan and Monica on GH!!!
I’ve never understood what EJ Dimera saw in Sami Brady. EJ is intelligent and sophisticated. Sami is immature and spoiled, acts and lashes out like one of her young children would during a temper tantrum. I just don’t see the appeal. I know there are a lot of Ejami fans out there. I thought EJ’s scenes with Abigail were hot! Not that I think EJ and Abigail would make a great couple; but, I like how Abigail is not so one-dimensional any longer-Jennifer Horton’s good girl. On another note, I am absolutely thrilled that Eileen Davidson won the the Lead Actress Emmy! Eileen is a beautiful and talented actress! I can’t wait to see her back in Salem! I also am loving Eve Donovan. I’m a huge fan of Kassie DePaiva’s. The only downside, having to endure an onslaught of more Jennifer Horton and her hideous hair and wardrobe. I think someone in hair/makeup and wardrobe must have it in for Missy Reeves.
I think sooner or later Jennifer is due for a mental breakdown just like her mother Laura…i want Jennifer to start recieving mysterious eerie phone calls from her late husband Jack that is actually traced to the cemetary where Jack is allegedly buried…who is doing this to poor Jen…Eve?…Theresa?…Ann?…or maybe the real Jack isnt even dead at all and he shows up in Salem just in time for the shows 50th which shocks a confession out of whoever has been terrorizing Jen with those spooky prank calls!!!
Meanwhile, could Eve just happen to be Aiden’s estranged wife?
Jack was cremated and his ashes thrown into the Pacific Ocean, so she would have to get calls via a Beach Shell LOL. But it is possible Jack is still alive because when he died Roman wouldn’t let anyone see the body because it was too gruesome and he was cremated fast and no service in town, but a small out of town to throw his ashes into the water. It might be that Jack was employed by the ISA to bring down some Middle Eastern tyrant since Jack has experience in that part of world. Or maybe working deep undercover along with Bo.
PS– I thought Aiden’s wife deceased—did I miss something? Sometimes Days moves slowly and I tend to nap during part of it, so did I miss a reveal— that she isn’t really dead and he only said she was?
I see Eve making a play for Brady and in fights with Theressa!!!
I want EJ and Sami together, too. And I think they will be in the end. We may have some fireworks and such as we have some time with these characters on the canvas. Always thought of EJ and Abigail as but a plot contrivance to give EJ and Sami some conflict and drama. DAYS really is strong and I am glad it remains a solid daytime drama. Surprised it did not win the Emmy for outstanding series this year.
She can forgive EJ for blackmailing her into having sex with him, for kidnapping their baby daughter and making her think she was dead, for replacing her husband with a look a like, and for the million lies he has told her, but she can’t forgive him for having a brief fling with Abby during a time when she was withholding sex from him? Sounds about right for Sami Brady. Hope she does forgive him in time, but since James Scott left the show before Allison, not sure if we should expect a happy ending for EJami, but one never knows. But lets hope it is exciting, because last week Days was a snooze.
When were they not a snooze?
I had to thank you hear about telling me about Jack being creamated…i honestly dont recall Jack was creamated but back then i only watched days off and on at the time of his ‘death’…around that time i was in a serious accident that resulted in an arm and head injury and many months of physical therapy…i even had to learn to write again which you probably can still tell sometimes in my writing…it also the reason for my occasional memory lapses(do you recall our a little ‘GH Alice’ situation from last year…now you know)…but im doing so much better now…as for Aiden and his wife…i think ‘she is dead to him only’ and that there could be a good chance she is alive but not necessarily does it have to be Eve, especially since Paige hasnt mention having a younger brother and im sure she wouldve recognized Aiden unless she was off to boarding school and never met him and his son is from a different marriage but thats me wanting to connect newbies with the oldies…lol
Ahhh!!–Mary SF; but, are we positive those ashes really belong to Jack? I bet my last penny on everything Jimh says to somehow become a reality. I simply want lil’ Jen and her halo to be put out of their respective misery.
Days is the best soap! Then GH then bold and beautiful then Y&R
I am hoping days will pick up somewhat. Been pretty bored lately. What is this love affair with Jennifer and Daniel. They are involved in all the story lines. The writers ruined Eric and Nicole. I am going to miss EJ but need a break from Sami. She has been front and center for 21 years. Just can’t figure out why writers have so much materiel for some and not others like Lucas, Roman etc. Why did they even bring back John. He has done nothing. ,
I have to agree with Ann here ~ I have been watching DAYS for about seven months, it IS just a little draggy. It seems like storylines are stretched out forever to a point where you almost don’t care anymore. I guess we will FINALLY find out what the heck Jordan and her brother are running away from. Eventually we will find out what Sami has up her sleeve ….but in the meantime, I too wish that things would stop moving at a Turtle’s pace. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the show and I love seeing some of the alumni from both ALL MY CHILDREN and One Life to Live, but speed it up a little.
The siblings are running from their low-life, abusive father. He means his kids harm, and when Rafe discovers that it is Kate who brought him to Salem, all hell will break loose.
I had to laugh the other day
look at Roman getting some with Giselle!
he could get a little sweaty
throw in Eric chiding Marlena about being jealous
Please, Please, Please !
Days : bring back Sheryl… pregnant with Lucas child
magnanimous decisive planning… to elevate DOOL
Considering Sami & Kate are plotting against EJ & Stefano I don’t see her blowing up the wedding by exposing the affair. I think she marries him in order to strengthen her position for DiMera assets. Besides, both AS & JS will be on the show until about October so I think they want to pull as much drama out of this reveal as possible.
Ejami needs to stay together and waltz off into the sunset together. They can deal with things later if either one wants to come back to the show. We waited so long for them to be together.
They definitely get married. Abe performs the ceremony with very touching vows. Yes, Sami wants revenge, but she will marry him. No one can deny that EJAMI are a dysfunctional duo. There is nothing about them that is traditional, so there can’t be a traditional wedding.
With that being said, no two people are more suited for each other. They are both devious and real pros with their on going scheming. That is what makes EJAMI the most entertaining, popular duo on Days with a HUGE fan base.
Yes, of course they will survive this mess and find their way back together as they always have in the past 8 years. James Scott said there was “great EJAMI action this summer with a twist, which will make EJAMI fans very happy”. I am looking forward to this!!!!
DOOL is the best soap on right now. I look forward to watching everyday. That says a lot!
I’m going to miss AS and JS.
correct me if i am wrong, but didnt ej rape sami around the time they first met? how exactly did sami get over that 🙂
Do you really want to open that can of worms again? I suggest you look up in Mr. Fairman’s Archive– October 25 or 26 2012 post about AS renewing her contract on Days, there is quite a lively discussion on that very topic there.

A Brady and a Horton : all the elements of diehard fan influx… ALIVE
I cannot tell you how DISAPPOINTED I was with the Ejami wedding. Ejamis wedding should have been “Soap Wedding Of The Year.” A forbidden love story that after 8 years of fans patiently hoping and diligently waiting… that Ejami fans, should have got their reward, their big pay off. But no Days couldn’t even get this right. Instead of an AUTHENTIC, genuine, sincere, loving, romantic, no secrets wedding we get this trash! A wedding of deception, lies, scheming, revenge and pay back. Badly done Days, badly done!
A word I have heard a lot lately in regards to Ejami is twisted. Well yes we love Ejami because they aren’t perfect and are grey but not because they are twisted. And we fans that love them aren’t twisted either. If the Days crew thought we would like this wedding because it is twisted boy did they get it WRONG! Instead of being happy the majority of fans are left feeling angry and sad. Days just pushed it too far this time…. An Ejami wedding with the bridei daydreaming about Efail making out? Too much, it was just way too much. Over kill.
Everybody is so anti EJ and Ejami on the show at the moment (only their kids are the happy ones), it’s just so biased, hypocritical and pathetic. Samis family can show up for a Bristen wedding, Eric can even marry them (after all of Kristens history with the Bradys/John) but yet they just can’t bring themselves to be there for their daughter or sister, ( Or indeed their grandchildren, nephews/nieces) on Ejamis big day? Come on Sami ain’t no saint! And the one thing they cannot deny is Sami does love EJ. As for Doofus Rafe…. What the? Man I’d love to give him a bunch of fives. He is in a relationship with Jordan yet can’t seem to stay out of his ex’s life and is banging Kate. What a gore he has! Then to top it all off the instigator of the whole affair Abigail is hating on and blaming EJ for everything. In her opinion he is getting what he deserves. Um, we all saw the cabin scenes Abby you came onto EJ not the other way around and then you chased him to the locker room, you cancelled his appointments and checked out Samis schedule before turning up in the conference room to try and seduce EJ yet again and you want to blame him? Come on young lady be honest. You wanted it and still do. You are just jealous because EJ has made it clear he loves Sami and Ejamily. It is nothing but sour grapes here and you wanna play the victim card? I hope YOU get what you deserve 🙂
Sami is peeved (and in one way she has a right to be) but her anger and rage with Kate continually fuelling it may just go too far this time. My fear is instead of Ejami finding their way back to each other Sami will completely sabotage and continue to drive a massive wedge between her and EJ that can never be recovered from. Is this what I want to enjoy and watch as an Ejami fan with their last days looming on Days? I think not! And I know I’m not alone with that one. It could have been so good but instead this is what we are left with. If they continue to write like this they cannot be surprised at their ratings drop. As far as I’m concerned the one good thing out of this all is that AS & JS have left the building. Fingers crossed another more appreciative network/movie/show etc etc will see Ejamis sizzling chemistry/potential and pair them together on another project. Chemistry like that shouldn’t be wasted and they already have a huge fan base who would be ready to follow. Maybe they should try night time TV slot this time 🙂
One hundred percent agree with you! Was in physical pain watching that wedding. So disingenuous and fake. What was all that Abigail watching from the side like a hawk- she has Ben now, can’t she just move on? I am such an Ejami fan and this wedding was a real slap in the face to all Ejami fans. The writers are seriously doing my head in. Ejami better end up together, although right now, I seem to be losing all hope for that
:(((
All of that crazy running around town planning for what, 8 guests and a very short walk down the isle? I laughed so hard at the number of chairs and everyone leaving while the married couple danced!
Really, honestly I agree – it was like, THIS is IT for this super rich super powerful couple – a backyard wedding – with about six guests – it’s not everyone had somewhere else to go and something else to do like they’d rather be at a backgard Barbeque down the street – even the kids wanted to be elsewhere.
Can I ask something off-topic to any DAYS fans, since I am a relatively new viewer – does DAYS ever go on location? Honestly, everyone it seems is either at Brady’s Pub or the indoor park set or at the Square. That’s it. No one ever seems to be anywhere else (maybe at the hospital). They either need some extra sets or they need to go on location here and there – it gets a little monotonous after a while.
Days did have some location shoots once upon a time– like the time Bo and Hope were in New Orleans, they also they had more a variety in their sets– but over the last couple of years they really reigned in their budget on that area, so everything does double duty– ever notice the offices at the hospital are the same set for the police department; Eve/ Paige and Theresa have the same apartment only the paintings and the back splash of the kitchen changed.
Back in the day everyone had their own house set– and stories would be set various locations; there use to be a lot of island sets– Days used to liked to strand people on islands.
But actually, The Horton Square is a set up from the docks where just a few years ago everything was taking place on this dock set, from New Year’s celebration to everyday conversations, to murders.
So the limitations in sets is all about keeping the budget down– but yeah it does become a bit of bore to look at day after day.
Had another thought this morning…..
Sami wants to HUMILIATE EJ. Isn’t that the same thing his father did to him? Stefano made EJ get down on bended knees and beg him to let the love of his life go free. He had to kiss the ring and pledge himself to Stefano as well as hand over everything he owned so that Sami could go free. Now Sami is going to do the same thing to him? Really? The only person he has ever truly loved and trusts in his life now 🙁
Sure Sami has every right to be peeved but doing this “revenge” plot is WRONG! She is no better than Stefano in my books if she continues down this track. And if she brings the kids into the equation again it is going to make me more sympathetic towards EJ than her. I have a feeling we got a plot point during EJs vows… that is EJ will keep up with Sami and give her as good as she gives him. Oh no, not tit for tat again. We’ve been there and done that with Ejami too many times. Ejami had matured way past that so thanks Days for that – NOT!
PS: An observation…..
EJ does wrong = EJ pays
EJ does right = EJ pays
Stefano does wrong = EJ pays
Kristen does wrong = EJ pays
Nicole does wrong = EJ pays
Sami does wrong = EJ pays
EJ has always been paying for his and others crimes since arriving on the show. I want to see him start winning. On his terms, in his way and see him go out in victory not defeat on this show. After all this is EJ Dimera for goodness sake.
I strongly agree with you, can’t EJ ever get a break in this show, it’s getting ridiculous can’t Sami and EJ ever get a happy ending after all they are leaving the show.
