The official announcement of the full list of contestants won’t come till this coming Tuesday morning at 7AMEST from ABC, but after last season’s interesting array of competitors, it will be intriguing to see who is added to the mix and if these three Wagner, Shepherd and Gilbert are confirmed.  What do you think of Jack Wagner as a contestant in the ballroom dance competition? I will not anything on ABC except GH. If he is indeed dancing this season then the execs have an ulterior motive.

I agree. I’m boycotting ABC totally except for General Hospital. ABC is very GREEDY and doesn’t care about the hundreds of thousands of soap fans that they’ve disappointed nor do they care about the hundreds and hundreds of people they put out of work. The reality shows take just a few people…. hosts, cameramen, director and a few more. The soaps employed hundreds.

I don’t watch much of abc, however, I could never give up my REVENGE on Wednesday nights.

I believe JW will be on dwts. What else does he have to do besides play golf?
Also he LOVES attention. What better way??

I like DWTS but will have to miss this season. I, along with hundreds of thousands of soap opera fans, am boycotting ABC for the cancellation of All my Children and One Life to Live. I won’t watch (and haven’t for months and months) ABC except for General Hospital. When that goes, so do I. I hope many others boycott ABC too. They didn’t care about their loyal fans at all when they cancelled our beloved and iconic soap operas after 43 years. These were truly great shows but cost more to make than those silly reality shows. ABC is… Read more »

Watch “DWTS” and if you have no favorites, vote for Jack Wagner so he can stay on longer and bring more attention to “GH”, because we can guess that he’s returning.

Would rather see him on B&B, but if not, DWTS is fine. But I thought he was rumored before. Maybe now he’s not on contract on B&B he’ll do it. Maybe then B&B will rethink their letting him go. C’mon! So tired of B&B revolving around Hope and Liam and Steffy. All the characters are involved in that storyline and it’s too much!!!!!

I’ll miss Jack Wagner and his sexiness on Bold and Beautiful as well. Brad Bell is making a huge mistake letting Wagner go, but oh well. B&B’s loss will hopefully be GH’s gain. I won’t be watching DWTS though. I’ll just watch his perfomances on Youtube, since I’m sure somebody will eventually post them there.

Daytime Emmys To Remain Virtual For Upcoming 2021 Ceremony

With an uncertain situation of when live events can get back to normal, or as they have been in the past prior to the coronavirus pandemic, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced today that it plans on keeping next year’s Daytime Emmys award show virtual, to allow for the 2022 awards cycle to stay on track.

In fact, all of NATAS’s award ceremonies including: the News and Documentary Emmys, Technology & Engineering Emmys and the Sports Emmys will also remain virtual next year.

The Daytime Emmys became the first major award show to air a virtual presentation that others followed back in late June of this year and aired on CBS.

In a statement, NATAS chairman and CEO Adam Sharp expressed on the organization’s decision:“The current timetables articulated by manufacturers project mass availability of vaccinations for the entire U.S. population by mid-summer 2021, potentially permitting a return to more traditional in-person ceremonies later in the fall. However, we have determined that delaying our 2021 events to possibly allow for a compressed calendar of in-person Emmy ceremonies late in the year would result in unacceptable delays to our awards cycle for 2022. Instead, we have decided to remain “virtual” in the format of our ceremonies for 2021 while relying on a substantially pre-COVID awards calendar. In so doing, we believe we will be best-positioned to return to a full, on-time, traditional schedule of in-person ceremonies in 2022.

The dates currently under consideration for the 48th annual Daytime Emmys which would be via two or three nights of presentations are: a combination of dates from Friday, June 25, Saturday, July 17 and/or Sunday, July 18.

For those entering the competition, the entry deadline is February, 17, 2021 with  the nominations not to come till May or June.

So, what do you think about the Daytime Emmys going virtual again for 2021? Comment below.
