Wonderful interview, Michael! Yours are always so thorough and personable, and this is no exception. I have so much respect for James as an actor and as an individual. I appreciate the opportunity to hear him speak about his craft and the show. I’m excited to see the scenes he’s talking about and even more excited to hear him describe them as the biggest thing that’s happened since the new writers came on board. Anytime he and Alison Sweeney share scenes, I watch with full attention. They have a dynamic that’s mesmerizing. I’ll be glued to my set! This sounds like the start of a really good storyline. I hope that he and Alison share many more scenes!

I enjoy watching how wonderfully James has taken the character of EJ and turned him into a multi – layered character whom you love to hate but also hate to love! I love the fact that they are possibly writing a story line for Ejami but more importantly for James and Alison together, I love watching them interact on screen!

I’m more excited about seeing Days this coming week than I have been for a very long time. James’ upcoming scenes while Johnny is missing are sure to be Emmy-worthy!

I’m also looking forward to his scenes with Alison. EJ & Sami haven’t had a genuine interaction, with just the two of them, for such a long time that this one promises to be full of all the feelings of anger, grief, and passion that have been pent-up for far too long. As a fan of EJ & Sami, I’m fervently hoping that this will lead to something more for them in the future.

P.S. I’ll add my name to the tally of people who watch Days to see James – that number is not as small as he seems to think it is 🙂

Hence, why you do a brilliant job every year getting to it and getting it out of James & Alison (Jamison!!!) and getting it for EJAMI’s EVERYWHERE!!!! It’s like James & Alison come literally ALIVE in their scenes together, where as to with other people, its like they’re doing the best that they can but they’re not as alive and just going through the motions and getting to the next step and moving on. But in scenes and story TOGETHER JAMISON (James & Alison) just explodes and wakes EVERYONE up, including each other and their characters, and the entire Soap World. I mean I saw twitter and facebook messages from other Soap Stars and other soap writers that were messaging about EJAMI together and how they are they’re absolute favorites. And how much they love EJ & SAMI together and how much they couldn’t wait to see EJAMI!!! I mean these are other Soap stars from other big shows like Y & R and such, with their own stories and awards and such…and they’re just as big fans of EJAMI together as were viewers are!

I mean that’s got to be special, great, and huge for James & Alison to know that they’re own co-workers, collegues, and writers in the business right there with them are HUGE fans of their work and their characters EJ & SAMI being together. That writers and other actors and actress from these shows or formerly of DAYS are like…the two of them together are a writer and producers dream! That they are the way to tell a story! That they are the ONLY ones that can get viewers to tune back into DAYS and watch the show. THAT IS SUCH A POWERHOUSE COUPLE & ACTING TEAM RIGHT THERE! That they’ve even got others right there in the soap world with them as HUGE EJAMI fans and are so excited and can’t wait to see them together again!!! AWESOME!!!!

I LOVE EJAMI!!! And I am so, so, so going to be tunning back into DAYS to watch EJAMI together! I can’t wait to see them! I haven’t watched DAYS since they screwed up EJ & Sami’s 2nd wedding back in August that Summer. I completely stopped watching DAYS and completely tuned out altogether. And I’ve been a fan of the show and watched it consistantly for years! I stopped watching consistently and almost slim to none in Summer of 2008, and I came back to watching the show when EJ & SAMI got their daughter back and Sami moved back into the DiMera mansion with EJ. And then that August when they were about to get married again and were having their wedding and then DAYS screwed it up and completely went in the wrong direction for the show, and these two characters…I just COMPLETELY stopped watching and tuned COMPLETELY out altogether! I just COMPLETELY turned DAYS off! I didn’t even return for the so-called reset, new set, or vets back and all that stuff…didn’t care and wasn’t interested, been there done that, and seen it all before! EJAMI together is what I want! EJAMI together is what I want to watch and see! And EJAMI together is the ONLY way to get me and a viewer like me to tune back into the show to see it and them!

And EJAMI together is the ONLY reason that I’ll be tunning back in to the show to see them! JAMISON working together and EJAMI back together is the ONLY reason to return, to tune back in, and watch! And I can’t wait to! Now, DAYS is talkin’! This is what I’m talkin’ about right here! Give us viewers what we want to watch and see (EJAMI!!!) and we’ll flock back to watch the show for EJAMI together!!! EJAMI together gets the whole Soap World excited and ablazed! Gets everyone pumped to watch again and to write or talk! They get viewers excited and they get buzz together that flies immediately around the viewer outlets, publicity outlets and to everyone in the matter of seconds. There’s NEVER a boring or dull moment at all between the two of them!

And I couldn’t be more over joyed and excited to run back to DAYS to watch EJAMI’s upcoming scenes! I’ll definitely be returning to the show to watch EJAMI!!!! Thank you Michael for a fantastic interview with our EJAMI King himself James Scott!! You two always seem so comfortable and just like you’re having a natural conversation together! And that goes to your hard-work and how comfortable and natural you make them feel to talk with you for us viewers! And can I just tell you that I have ALWAYS loved how excited you get, as well Michael, about EJAMI and talking to our EJAMI King James or our EJAMI Queen herself, Alison, about it and them! [Michael if you ever talk to Arianne Zucker and Eric Martsolf again, I love Brady & Nicole and Eric Brady & Nicole! Those two male characters are so much better for her and the character of Nicole! And after all without being brought on as the love of Eric Brady’s life…she would have never been on the show. I love me some Ericole and Bricole! And I know a whole lot of other people and viewers that are sooo wanting Eric Brady back and to have a Eric Brady/Nicole/Brady Black story. So Michael if you ever get the chance to talk to Eric Martsolf and Arianne Zucker again could you please ask them if we’re going to see Brady & Nicole again! And ask her if we’re ever going to see the return of Eric Brady! I know she’s stated in numerous interviews recently and with the cast and crew changes that the one character she’d love to see return back to Salem is ERIC BRADY!!! And she is DEFINITELY not alone in that! Tons of us would love to see that too! Let her know that! And let her know how much if he was to come back, how much we Eric & Nicole fans can’t wait to see them hash out their details and problems of what happened in general and what happened between them with the $5 million dollar check and their relationship, and can’t wait to see them back together again! And that we’re just as excited about Nicole & Brady and to see all three of them in a story together and vying for her affections. Can you please let her know Michael how much we want and love Eric Brady & Nicole and Brady & Nicole and want that story for her and them just as much as she does! Viewers completely agree with her there! What an amazing story and coupling those would be and completely right for her, Eric Martsolf, and whoever is to play Eric Brady since Jensen Ackles is all superly-tied up; it would be fascinating to watch and right where she and all three of them belong and hashing that out and her completely torn between Brady Black & Eric Brady!

And I’m interested to see where they could possibly take Carrie & Rafe together! Now, that’s much better for him!!! I was excited to see Carrie comeback for that much alone…and since her & Austin are having problems and aren’t really connecting and not really “there” between each other anymore…Carrie is just the kind of woman that Rafe has been trying to change Sami into and make her be. Carrie is the exact woman that Rafe has been looking for, dreaming about, and vying for. It could get really interesting between Austin/Carrie/Rafe. And Austin and Rafe already don’t like one another, and Carrie & Rafe are connecting more and more! Could finally get interesting there for the character of Rafe and finally give him gawd…SOMETHING else to do…good lordy, besides constantly being glued to Sami’s butt and hip, and looking like a fool all the time, and constantly butting his nose in people’s business. Could finally give him something to do for real…instead of just making up boring stuff and crap for him. Could finally give him something and some interest for viewers with Rafe in general with him & Carrie and having to deal with Austin and such. Much better outlet and opportunity for him there. And Christie Clark is great and great as Carrie. Could be really interesting and intriguing to see her & Galen together. And to see a Carrie/Austin/Rafe story together. Much better and works much better, and makes way better sense than what both he and Arianne Zucker have been in since they came on the show.

Hi Michael! Thank you for the amazing James Scott interview! I’m Sarah from Canada, married to Ron, and recently had two beautiful red-haired twin boys named Bailey and Hunter. They are three months old and a bit now!!

I have had the pleasure of meeting James several times, and he’s a very nice, intelligent, and talented person and actor. I have very much enjoyed your interview.

I like how James comments on how dedicated he is to his character of EJ DiMera, and how much thought he puts into eloquently protraying the character so the audience can enjoy his marvelous performances. Being a stay at home mom now, I am unable to attend the charity events I have attended in the past, I enjoy catching Days, when I can, and the show is amazing right now! I love the re-boot, and the storylines are amazing.

I am really enjoying the storylines surrounding the mayoral race, the link between Stefano and Alice, Bradison, the rivarly coming up between Kate and Madison, the Jack/Jen/Daniel triangle (although as a newer viewer, I’m partial to Danifer), John’s trial and the return of Jarlena, Carrie and Austin, as well as all storylines pertaining to my favourite actresses on the show Arianne Zucker, Lauren Koslow, and Kate Mansi. I am also a huge fan of Chabby, and I’m not thrilled they might be going with a Chad/Melanie romance, but I will still watch to give support to the show.

Personally, I am not looking forward to an EJ/Sami reunion. Just with their histories of how much they torture each other, I just don’t see this romance is realistic. It’s based on abuse, crimes, and manipulations. I know there is an upcoming spoiler about them, but I think it was in the moment because of perhaps the circumstances of Johnny’s disappearance. Anyways, I will still watch the show every day because I support James, Ali, and all the cast, even if Ejami is on the screen. I don’t prefer them or if there is a Chad/Melanie hook-up, but supporting the show and watching the commercials is what matters.

Lastly, I would like to comment on your question and James response to long line at fan events. I have had the opportunity to have attended many charity events before I had my sons, and I have always been respectful, polite, and courteous to the events. I meet James or other cast members at designated times, whether meet or greet, or cocktail hours or for lunches. I can understand how James gets fustrated with the long lines, but the problem is with these events is that there are certain groups of fans who hog James at every event, even though they do their own event every year, they still hound him. My best friend Cher was unable to meet James twice at events because the same group of fans take up his time at every event, and as a respectful person myself, I think it’s unfair that these people hog James’ time, and he can’t meet new fans. I felt bad for my friend Cher because she really wanted to meet James, and wasn’t able to wish. I wish more fans were so selfish and absorbed in their own time, if they’ve had time with James, especially at their own event, and give them sometime to new fans. I know many fans gets fustrated with all the actors. Not just James Fans!!

Anyways, thank you for the interview. As a mother now, I don’t see myself attending anymore events because I would never leave my babies home alone to jet off for the weekend. That’s just not my parenting style! 🙂 Anyways, thanks again.

Also, I loved your Rachel and Brendan interview from Big Brother and Bold and the Beautiful! I am so excited because they are going to be attending my sons’ 1st birthday party next year!!

Anyways, thank you Michael for providing yet another amazing interview. Also, I loved your interview with Chandler and Gabi. I am so thrilled as a teacher that Days is focusing on a gay story for Will in a very sensitive way, and I hope this will help all the young kids/teenagers who are LGBT to understand it’s okay to be who they are, embrace and love themselves for who they are, and it will maybe have an impact on those cyberbullies that make these young people commit suicide. It’s so sick that bullies are so cruel to children, that they see no way out! Thank goodness for media like Days, popstars like Lady Gaga etc.. who show these young people it’s okay to be who they are. Love who you love I say! Anyways, thanks Michael. You and James are both class acts, and I love your interviews!! I can’t wait to see more of the other cast members.

P.S. As far as EJ’s love story, I think I would love to see him with Nicole on one side because I think they truly love each other and it would be beautiful to see Nicole and EJ have a baby, but on the other hand, I think this situation has played itself out, like Ejami has. Personally, I would like to see Nicole with Quinn. She needs someone to love her unconditionally. I’m not sure who I see EJ with to be honest. I definitely don’t want to see him with Melanie. Excellent interview, and yes if I could get a babysitter I would fly out from Australia just to meet James..He is modest, but it is TRUE most fans still watched Days because of him, he does carry the show currently.. Another thing WHY OH WHY hasnt this man been picked up for MOVIE ROLES..One fabulous actor…
