Jamison Jones to Debut on Y&R as Jesse Gaines
Coming up, look for more drama in the Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) drama on CBS’ top-rated soap, The Young and the Restless.
As originally reported by Soap Opera Digest, on September 21st, attorney Jesse Gaines hits Genoa City and he may have damaging information on Locke or something the Newmans could use against him.
Portraying Jesse will be Jamison Jones, who is familiar to daytime fans having spent time on Days of our Lives, twice, General Hospital in three different roles, and a host of primetime gigs.
In story, Victoria is planning to wed Ashland, which nobody is for, and it may be possible that Gaines has some intel to rock the relationship and more.
So, intrigued to see Jamison take on attorney Jesse Gaines? Comment below.
Please, not ANOTHER guy for Victoria! Or maybe he’s for Lily, since he and Billy seem headed for the skids. I’ve recently decided to be more patient with new characters, even when some of my faves (Lauren, Kevin, Gloria, Traci, Ashley, Jill) are on rarely. So we’ll see. But if Tara, Sally, and Amanda’s unconvincing family are a gauge, we’re in boredom land again.
Soaphound,
Hi, I think it’s this person that’s sending Ashland texts about how he’s been hard to track down, etc I don’t like his looks.
The Jesse Gaines guy will be a roll-through..
He’ll be gone quickly/before 2 months……
I like Ashland —
and Victoria is a deceiving conniving botch and I’m waiting for her put-down lol
She deserves something back on her…..
Billy is coming off as a ‘scorned woman’; ahaa!
_______I’d like a face-odd between Ashland and Victor!!
Of course, Victor would win, he never loses,
but still would be fun…
And to mention–
Abby/the baby story is worse than the music box story = beyond awful!
I agree the Abby story is horrible. Either replace Chance or kill him off this storyline has gone on way too long.
Would love for it to be an attorney that can also mix it up with Michael and Christine. Throw lawyers Amanda and Imani in it too.
Y n r needs intelligent , complex stories written by someone with half a brain
The current writers can only write highschool hi jinx featuring Phyliss, Sally and Abby and the babysitters club. Silly really. They cant even write a story for a sweet highschool crush between Moses and Faith. Geez
Is this the person that’s been sending Ashland texts that apparently have him worried enough to have him spill his guts to Victoria?
You were right, Violet, and the guy seems as unappealing as predicted, based on the preview. I was starting to warm to Ashland a bit, mostly because he’s such a good actor. But…I think Victoria is backing another loser.
Soaphound,
Iam wondering if this Jones guy gets killed and we’ll have a another whodunit with Amanda strutting her stuff as defence attorney?
The entire Amanda storyline is going no where, how long do we wait for a trial that will never be seen on air?
Matthew, I think they may be waiting for the people involved to learn how to act. Compared to wonderful Mishael Morgan, they look like dinner theater amateurs.
They might be waiting a long time! That kid who plays Devon STILL cannot act!
Timmm,
That kid is 33 years old and I think he plays as good as he’s given. When did he and Abby become bestsys as she’s always saying? I wonder if Chance doesn’t return, they will throw them together. I don’t like he and Amanda together but I think he and Elena were more compatable as they are in real life.
EVERY actor he is in a scene with or has a relationship with is boring! I’d rather watch Victor trim his mustache!
Timmm,
Yes, most of his co- stars are boring as are their story lines. Not his fault. As I said, he plays as good as he’s given. I am also probably one of the few who doesn’t care for M.Morgan.
They were together at one time but it didn’t last
He’s not a kid! I like Devon!!!
Your call and your right. That’s why ice cream shops carry more than one flavor. Enjoy!
This is another storyline just dragging on and not picking up any interest.
Saw potential for the Victoria storyline. In the beginning it seemed it might be a take-over attempt of Newman and Jabot with Tara and the child involved. Now still see potential with a May/December kind of relationship, but perhaps it will get dark with underworld type connections. A little to much potential rematching with Jack/Phyllis, Sharon/Adam or Nick which seems to be inferred.
One good story can hold me; just not sure where it is now.
Yummy.
This story line seems to be the most exciting we’ve had in a long time, a little like the story of Brad Carlton having taken over someone else’s identity. I can’t wait for the big reveal, whatever it is. I do like Ashland and hope he is not scamming the Newmans, and how does Victor know this Jesse Gaines? Will any of them pay him off before Nick and Phyllis solve this mystery?
I guess I am replying to myself. No where to make comments on
Victoria’s wedding which is the biggest thing on Y&,R these days. I happen to like Ashland and hope the wedding goes off as planned but Billy and his cohort will most likely screw things up. He’s obcessed and so jealous that he can’t see straight. Maybe they can lock him up in a shed or whatever until the wedding is over. I said I liked Ashland and as much as I want he and Vic to get married, I predict he will have an attack of some sort, if not during the ceremony, than right after, making Victoria a very rich widow, before she really had the chance to be a real bride.
You know, Violet, this Jamison Jones playing Jesse Gaines turned out to be a very good actor, whatever we might think of Gaines himself. What a treat, especially since some recurring characters, like Amanda’s mother and grandpa, aren’t very good at all. I’m anxious for the wedding, also. It’s the only thing going right now.
He’s baaaaak. Looks like he rose from the ashes. Wonder how he ever got back to Genoa City?

Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.
In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.
However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS
Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.
Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall. It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.
With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.
So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Rosie O’Donnell Says She Will Return to ‘The View’ During its Season 30

Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she plans to head back to a seat at the table of ABC’s morning talk show The View.
The announcement came during Monday’s episode of The Tangle Podcast where she shared she will participate in “in whatever way they want” her or “just as a guest” for its upcoming 30th season.
The View’s season 30 will kick-off this fall in September. O’Donnell explained, “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think. And, you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics.”

ROSIE ON HER PREVIOUS GO-ROUNDS ON THE VIEW
As fans of The View know, O’Donnell famously had two different one-year stints on the talk show in 2007 and again in 2014- 2015. She often feuded with then co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
However, during her discussion with host, Kyle Ridley on The Tangle Podcast, O’Donnell also noted she often had tense moments with longtime moderator and anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.
O’Donnell also expressed, “Many, many people got the short end of the stick there. It was, you know, it was a factory where people were being churned in and out and their tenuous security, nobody got to be calm. It also was a show at the time that was run by a man. A show created by a woman, for women, about women, and the man was deciding what we should talk about. And that didn’t sit right with me, you know.”
Back in 2023, Brooke Shields had asked Rosie on her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields, about how she felt on her two stints at The View and all the controversy that surrounded it. Rosie at that time, stated, “I know this, it’s not the best use of my talent to get in a show where I have to argue and defend basic principles of humanity and kindness. It was not something I’d ever do again.”
You can check out the clip with Rosie and Kyle Ridley discussing her return to The View in some form for its upcoming 30th season below.
Then weigh-in: Would you be excited to see Rosie, even for a one-day or a week guest stint on the upcoming celebratory season of The View, or not so much? Let us know via the comment section.
