Joe LoCicero on His B&B Demise: “I Do Believe I’m Done Filming But it is a Soap Opera So Anything is Possible”

Photo: JPI

Now that Vinny is a-goner, the lives of many of the Spencers, Forresters, and Logans will be thrown into turmoil on upcoming episodes of CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful.

Actor Joe LoCicero began playing Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) best bud, Vinny, back in 2019 and along the way has done some shady and despicable deeds.

He chatted exclusively with Soap Opera Digest about his character’s demise, sharing that B&B’s head writer and executive producer, Brad Bell, gave him the heads up a few episodes before his untimely end on the daytime drama series, sharing, “It wasn’t a lot of notice because they wanted to keep the story a secret.”

LoCicero who is married to actress Gina Rodriguez, who at one time also appeared on B&B as Beverly, shared that his wife was bummed out by his exit.

Now as to whether viewers have seen the last of Vinny in flashbacks, or if there is twin lurking around, all LoCiero slyly would share was, “I do believe I’m done filming but it is a soap opera so anything is possible.”

So, did you enjoy Joe’s performances? Should he come back as Vinny’s twin? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

How is this a “major” death? Vinny was not a major character, and how is what he did by switching the paternity results WORSE than what Flo did by allowing Hope and Liam to believe their baby was DEAD?! The logic on this show is non-existent, and I really wish the character who died was Flo instead. It’s beyond me that anyone in the Logan family can forgive her for what she did, and how Wyatt could have ended things with Sally for Flo.

I guess Joe LoCicero was right. He was done, mowed down, or not, by someone who felt he got what he deserved. Could he have been dead already and put there to make it look like a hit and run? Today when Bill was trying to soothe Liam, he said he saw him walk in front of the car which is not true, because neither of them saw anything until they felt the thud. This should get very interesting, especially the way they drag out things. Just don’t know how long I can take Liam’s moaning and groaning . I really… Read more »

Cameron Mathison Shares He Will Make Summer Debut On GH and Says: “Incredibly Grateful to Frank Valentini and the Writers at GH for Including Me on Such an Iconic Show”

Longtime All My Children favorite and current co-host of Hallmark’s Home & Family, Cameron Mathison, took to his Instagram account on Friday to share his enthusiasm and excitement for what’s to come this summer when he joins ABC’s General Hospital.

No word yet as to what role Mathison will play – and whether it will indeed be Pine Valley’s Ryan Lavery, a new character, or a recast character from the past such as how Kim Delaney took over the role of Jackie Templeton, who has not been seen on the canvas for decades since Demi Moore made that role soap-famous.

In his post today, Cameron expressed thanks to GH EP Frank Valentini and the writing team,  noting: “Almost 10 years after All My Children went off the air I am so excited to be joining General Hospital this summer! I was a member of the abc family for over 15 years and soon I’ll be back: Incredibly grateful to Frank Valentini and the writers at GH for including me on such an iconic show I feel like a kid on Christmas, as I’ll also continue making Hallmark movies and continue to be part of that family as well😀🙏🏼 So so excited… thank you!!!! (More details to come😉)”

So, who do you think Cameron will play once he hits Port Charles?  Let us know and make sure to take our poll below on how you want Mathison to be integrated into the story as Ryan, a new character or a recast character blast from the past? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
