John Stamos, Michael Park, Jane Krakowski, Kristin Chenoweth Cast in Presentation Of Soap Dish The Musical!

Now this sounds like a must-see! This week, it was announced that the late October reading of Soap Dish The Musical has set its cast and it’s amazing!  Former daytime stars, John Stamos (Ex-Blackie, GH), Michael Park (Ex-Jack,ATWT), Jane Krakowski (Ex-TR, SFT), plus GCB’s Kristin Chenoweth and Miriam Shor, along with Cristin Milioti, Anne L. Nathan, and Daniel Torres will take part in the initial presentation of the stage version adapted from Robert Harling’s and Andrew Bergman’s screenplay of the 1991 comedy film, Soap Dish about the behind-the-scenes drama involving the cast and production crew of a fictitious soap opera!

BroadwayWorld.com who broke the news of the cast, but also noted at this time there has been no formal announcement, or set timetable for the show. The reading is being presented by Laurence Mark, Donald De Line and Broadway Across America.  The new musical is going to be directed by Rob Ashford, with book by Harling, and music by George Stiles and lyrics by Andrew Drewe!

Frankly, I’m most excited by the news that Michael Park, who has not yet broken out into mainstream, will be opposite an all-star cast like this. It brings more attention to him, his name and his work, and makes him that much closer to becoming more well-known. He’s certainly earned the big roles IMO.

I couldn’t agree more with this comment! Michael Park is a brilliant actor and an all around great performer who always gives more than 100% to any role he takes on.

I’m most excited that Michael Park will be included. Miss him and he needs to really get noticed for his outstanding work. I dream of him being on Blue Bloods since that is filmed in NYC. To anyone listening, he would bring in a lot of new fans to Blue Bloods. Wish MP the best.

Of course chenoweth has a new acting gig. Like hollywood would let her fade into obscurity. she did slander Christianity w/ her portrayal on GCB. she propagated hollywood’s evil agenda of smearing religious Christians. She’s gotten a new role bec hollywood rewards her for being a good little lackey that bashes Christians.

Three-Time Daytime Emmy Winner, Cady McClain, Reveals She’s ‘Back On Set’ But On Which Show?

After her Instagram post earlier this week, fans of Cady McClain have been attempting to dissect her cryptic tease of a message. McClain, a three-time Daytime Emmy winner, shared the good news with fans that she is ‘back to work’, except she didn’t share which show or project she is working on … just yet!

In her post, McClain teased: “Back on set! Fun to be working again on such a terrific show! Can’t wait to be able to share the news with you all soon! Meantime, hoping you are all taking good care of yourselves. Sending hugs!! ”

Now, it could be Cady is working on a primetime show, not a daytime show, but we shall see.

She has previously appeared on The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives of the four remaining daytime soaps.  On Y&R she played Kelly Andrews, and on DAYS, Jennifer Horton Deveraux.  And, as viewers of the NBC soap saw this week, Jennifer (in a short appearance by Melissa Reeves) returned to Salem with Jack (Matthew Ashford), only to tie-up loose ends over the holidays and exit the show.

Since DAYS still tapes months ahead, could McClain be returning there, or might she pop up on GH and B&B? The character of Kelly was killed-off of Y&R back in 2015.

Previously, Cady became soap-famous for her roles as Dixie Cooney Martin on All My Children and Rosanna Cabot on As the World Turns.

Share your thoughts on which show you hope Cady is working on, whether, primetime, daytime, or a streaming series, in the comment section below.
