B&B Alum Justin Baldoni Sued By Blake Lively for Sexual Harassment & Smear Campaign; GH Alum Amber Tamblyn Voices Support of Her Friend and Former Co-Star
Over the last 72 hours, the biggest story in Hollywood is that of Blake Lively suing It Ends with Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni (Ex-Graham Darros, The Bold and the Beautiful) for sexual harassment and an alleged coordinated smear PR campaign to destroy her reputation.
For months, the show business trades have been full of items how things went awry on the making of the film which features as its epicenter a story of domestic violence. Things at one point got so bad on set, that an all hands on deck meeting was called which included Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.
In the meeting, Lively wanted to address the hostile work environment that allegedly Baldoni created and according to TMZ, made the following demands, “No more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s dead father.”

In addition, there is also a demand that there be, “no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project.” There is also a complaint in the filing where Justin allegedly cried in her dressing room over comments on social media that she looked “old” in the movie.
Lively’s suit is against Baldoni, the film’s lead producer, James Heath, Baldoni’s production company Wayfarer Studios. and its co-founder Steve Sarowitz, plus PR pros, Jed Wallace, Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, each of whom are named in the alleged effort to tarnish Lively’s reputation.
However, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freeman told PEOPLE in a statement on Saturday, December 21st that Lively’s allegations are, “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.” Freedman also alleged that Lively caused issues during the filming of the movie, including, “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release.”
The actress and mom of four includes allegations that Baldoni brought on a team prior to the release of It Ends With Us to launch a retaliatory smear campaign against her. On Monday, Lively issued this statement, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

Meanwhile, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants stars which include: former General Hospital star, Amber Tamblyn (ex-Emily Quartermaine) plus America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel took to Instagram and shared a post in support of their former co-star and friend, Blake Lively.
The message read, “As Blake’s friends and sisters for over 20 years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation. Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice. Most upsetting is the unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding.”

The trio concluded with, “We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment. We are inspired by our sister’s courage to stand up for herself and others. For anyone seeking more information or engaging in this important conversation online, please read the full legal complaint in the investigative reporting by Megan Twohey, Mike McIntire, and Julie Tate for the New York Times.”

Viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful will recall that Baldoni played a rapist named Graham Darros on the CBS soap back in 2010 for a short stint. During his time on the series, his character caused a whole lot of trouble for the young women on the show. In story, Graham was a photographer that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hired at Forrester Creations to work on her new campaign, but things went quickly south. However, Hope Logan (then played by Kim Matula) brought him on to work on a “Hope For The Future” campaign.

Later, Graham invited Hope to his place for a party, but he ended up drugging her drink. When Hope passed out, Graham made his next move to rape her, but was stopped by Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) and Sandy (aka Agnes Jones) Somers (played by Sarah Brown). Things clicked for Sandy. She recognized Graham as the man who had raped her five years earlier at a party.

Nick rescued Hope while Sandy confronted Graham, telling him that after the assault, she was so traumatized she changed her identity. The police eventually arrived. Graham was arrested and sent away to prison for raping Sandy and the attempted rape of Hope Logan. Baldoni went on to to star on Jane the Virgin from 2014-2019 as Rafael Solono playing opposite Gina Rodriguez (ex-Beverly, B&B), and he then continued directing/producing and starring in motion pictures.
Last Friday, Baldoni was dropped by the prestigious talent agency, WME, after Lively filed her suit against him. In addition, earlier this month, Justin was awarded the Voices of Solidarity Award from Vital Voices on Monday that award has been rescinded by the organization. The honor celebrates “remarkable men who have shown courage and compassion in advocating on behalf of women and girls.”
So, do you remember Justin as B&B’s Graham Darros? What do you think about Blake Lively’s lawsuit against him for his actions on and off the set of ‘It Ends With Us’? Comment below.
I’m not questioning Blake Lively’s allegations, but they are that: allegations. We’ve seen it before and will continue to see it: a woman accuses a man, man is guilty by public, man loses his livelihood, man proven not guilty and never regains his livelihood. Meanwhile, man accuses woman and he is still vilified and not believed. An investigation should be done before the public vilify and destroy someone’s twenty-year career.

The decision to depart GH was all Mansi’s decision and as also previously reported, GH executive producer Frank Valentini had left the door open for a return down the line and is currently not planning on recasting the part.
In story, in her final episode, having already said goodbye on Thursday’s show to her parents, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Kristina meets up with her siblings, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Michael (Rory Gibson). The three have a chat at the Metro Court Gardens.

SIBLING ADVICE
Before she leaves Port Charles, Kristina tells her brother and sister, she wants them to be there for each other, while each is managing their personal relationships: Molly with Cody (Josh Kelly) and Michael with Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Kristina thanked them for taking her to the airport and urged them to lean on each other while she was gone.
In her last scene, Kristina tells Molly and Michael right before they head for her flight, “I want each of you to be the person the other can call. OK? To show up for each other, no questions asked. Because that’s what you’ve been for me.”
KATE’S NEXT MOVE
Speaking with TV Insider, Mansi shared what she is up to next which has included accompanying her husband, Matt McInnis to Europe. Kate explained she had made the decision a few months back to exit GH. “I knew my contract was up in April and I wanted to give them the proper notice so that they could plan their future storytelling.” Kate added, “Given that my husband is working in Europe predominantly and I’ll be traveling so much, that’s what this next chapter of my life will be.”
Kate expressed that the news of her exit was hard to share with people, because she would feel sad when talking about it. Ultimately, the first to know were Nancy Lee Grahn, Kristen Vaganos, and Rory Gibson. She chose not to tell Maurice Benard, because she was so close to him in real-life, until they filmed their last episode together which aired yesterday.
There’s more! Kate gave a final tease that she has project in the works sharing, “I’m excited to have booked a short-term project in the fall that works within my schedule.” As to a future return to GH, Mansi doesn’t rule it out, “It’s Port Charles. Anything is possible.”

Jere Burns Joins ‘The Young and the Restless’ in Multiple-Episode Arc with Emmy Winner Susan Walters
Next week, beginning on Monday, June 15, Jere Burns will make his debut in his new role on The Young and the Restless as Dr. Laurence Markham. The veteran actor who has appeared in numerous television and motion pictures will share scenes with Susan Walters (Diane Jenkins).
In an ironic twist, fans of the late 80s-early 90s, NBC sitcom Dear John will recall that Burns and Walters appeared together in the cast. Walters played the role of Mary Beth Sutton, while Burns took on the role of smooth-talking and quirky ladies’ man Kirk Morris.
This marks the first time in Jere’s career that he has appeared on a network television soap opera. His most recent credits include his recurring role on CBS’ FBI, and the Hulu series, Death and Other Details.

Now fast-forward to Y&R, and TV Insider has the inside scoop of what how these two link up. Dr. Markham comes into the story as Diane’s whereabouts remain in question after the falling out with her husband Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
A LITTLE DITTY ABOUT JACK AND DIANE
Jack and Diane’s marriage has fallen on hard time, after Diane caught Jack in bed with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) while drugged; all thanks to the machinations of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Although, Jack has tried to salvage his marriage, Diane moved out of the Abbott mansion and has stayed away from Jack.
The last time anyone heard from Diane in Genoa City was back in the May 14 episode when she left a voicemail for Jack, telling him although she is hurt and confused over what happened with Patty, she wants to try and find a path forward. However, since that time no one has seen her. Does Diane’s disappearance have to do with Patty and now the incoming Dr. Markham?
Currently, Susan Walters is appearing this week on Beyond the Gates as part of the crossover event between the two CBS soaps. As a result of production timelines between the two series, things are not in line with the story of Diane and Jack on both soaps. On Beyond the Gates, the two are attending Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) political fundraiser together and get caught in a tornado that hits Fairmont Crest, even as her disappearance remains unsolved back in Genoa City.
Walters shared on working with Jere Burns again decades later, “He was a fantastic scene partner in this upcoming story arc.”
So, do you think Dr. Markham will harm or help Diane? Is Patty behind Diane’s disappearance? Do you feel a bit discombobulated watching Diane and Jack seemingly OK with each other on Beyond the Gates, while on Y&R she is MIA? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
