Justin Gaston Cast As Jordan's Brother Ben On Days Of Our Lives!

Look for the handsome and talented Justin Gaston to debut in Salem in the new contract role of Ben on the February 27th episode of Days of our Lives!  As we have learned, Ben is the brother of none other than Jordan played by Chrishell Stause!

As we had previously reported, the casting breakdown for the role of Ben went out this past summer with the character description as early-to-mid 20’s  midwestern or southern (very slight southern accent) country boy. He is utterly charming in his honest sincere approach to life and love. Ben can also sing and/or play the guitar, though it is not necessary.”

As it turns out, Gaston fits the bill perfectly being a country and western singer himself, and having appeared on “Nashville Star” and “If I Can Dream”.   If Justin looks familiar to soap fans, he has been seen on the arm on many red carpet events with The Young and the Restless Melissa Ordway (Abby), his wife in real life!
Looks like the hunk quotient is ever expanding at the NBC soap opera!  What do you think of Justin being cast as Jordan’s brother?  What secret is he harboring from his past?   Let us know your thoughts!

I did say they should introduce Jordans family but i think he wouldve also made a good Chad Dimera as well! Maybe Ben and J.J. will become a musical act performing in Salem? Maybe he’ll hook up with Abigail or Theresa? Maybe he is gay and will come between Will and Sonny? Maybe Jordan and Ben are Peter Blake’s children and Eve(Kassie Depaiva) is their mother? Jordan could be running from an abusive husband and Ben helped her by killing him? And maybe he thought he killed him but the husband is still alive? Maybe Ben isnt her brother…maybe he is really her boyfriend…maybe Jordan marries men and Ben helps her murder them for the insurance money and Rafe is their next target…no,…i think Jordan and Ben ARE siblings…and will have a long stay in Salem…i believe Ben helped Jordan out of a jam that did result in someones death or it might have something to do with missing money or they are on the run in a witness protection program involving the mob? Just too many story possibilities!!! Itll be a little clearer once he is on the show!!!

can’t you just imagine… IF Kassie DePaiva’ Eve… was at one time married to Peter Blake…

and Eve finagles her way in to the DiMeras…

I’d love to see an unwavering friendship for Kristen… or an altogether tour de force allies go at it… i’d rather see Kristen have new friendships… with the Donovan women… Eve and Theresa….

would you not agree… that it was weary and trying… for Kristen… to always be on guard… with all of Salem?

ED’ Kristen is written this way… but… to make her more contentious… it’d be great to see her with genuine feeling – people backing her up… standing up for her

Kristen… gets back with Brady or Shane Donovan!

LOL…. this would be meaty stuff for Eve, Kimerly, and Theresa

go girls

Love the bevy of beauties in Salem… and no cat fights … Women!

I realize that Kassie may be on the scene first… and Kristen comes back to town… at a later date….

what if… when Kristen comes back to town….

Eve and Kristen : are in the know… and loop… and are featured as best friends… wouldn’t this throw all of Salem for a twirl

this would give these two women a stronghold – a bond – a force of nature

If Peter Blake was brought back and with Kassie on the show, i would love it if her real life husband James Depaiva took over the role of Peter…Max and Blair…oops, i mean Peter and Eve would make an awesome couple!!!

DUDE…have a COCKTAIL and a BREATH…..BREATHE…BREATHE…

I tried but it doesnt work for me…lol

I’m open minded about Ben, but Jordan is still a total bore.

I really like… how Chrishell Stause, is playing out Jordan…

whatever the secret IS: with all her identities… I am waiting this out… because I’m smitten, interested, and allured by CS

I find her endearing… as she’s coming to… coming out of her shell… whether she should or not… depending on what her past is….

I like her persona… with Rafe… it’s teasing, simple, attraction, a closeness that works for this newfound couple…. it’s not complicated right now… a budding romance on the horizon… LOL… I even love Lucas with Sheryl… how do you like them apples… AT LAST!

I love JimH ideas above… that Jordan and Ben could be the children of Eve… AND Peter Blake… Man… if Jason Brooks came back…. Through the roof intrigue… for Kassie DePaiva to play out… a chance to get in the DiMera Manse… and spar

I just loved her Chrishell on AMC… and i think she’s doing just fine… for what material she has played out thus far…. I’m intrigued with Jordan…

she leaves you with layers

I must know how this is going to unfold

Chrishell had me bamboozled. I was watching DAYS on and off and was like..who is this actress..I like her… BUT..she’s written a bit annoying… and looked at a blog and said …WTF..AMANDA????? No wonder she hooked and annoyed me…

I’ve waited 6 months for Jordan to get more interesting, and she’s not. She’s more like Rafe’s sports buddy. At this point, I actually don’t care what she’s hiding.

Sheryl and Lucas have more chemistry than Rafe/Jordan.

I was not impressed with him on Nashville Star. Hopefully he can impress me on Days.

It seems fair– Rafe loses his sister and Jordan gains a brother—

He is very handsome and I hope they put him with Abigail to get her away from EJ!

Don’t see it happening — I think they’re grooming this EJ and Abby thing to give Sammy a reason to leave.

Yes, I agree

what about another brother nick fallon’s long lost fraternal twin brother played by david schwimmer who’s coming home to salem

I don’t know who you are but I love you.

What’s Nicks brothers name?

I feel sorry for T. – he’s in Salem and he’s always working in Brady’s Pub. He’s like the only one who works in that town – he needs a storyline. He could do better than Gaby, I wish he could meet a nice girl, Gaby is a dweeb who still wants Nick Fallon and this poor kid, he’s smitten with her and I wish he could find a cute girl of his own.

“Ben” is much needed eye candy. After the disastrous re-casting of Will Horton, Justin Gaston is just what the doctor ordered.

I guess that Doctor must be on Vacation because Justin Gaston has already been replaced before the Ink on his DAYS contract is barely dry.

Love the new character Ben. I watched the wedding today between Sonny and Will. It just doesn’t fit without Chandler playing Will. Let’s face it, the new Will just does’t have the looks, and a great looking guy like Sonny would never give him a second glance in real life. Sorry, he cant’ help it, but he’s just plain ugly.

Well, we don’t know, I understand what you’re saying, they seem slightly mis-matched, but in real life opposites attract – no, he’s not handsome in the traditional sense, but cute in his own way I guess.

I like the original Ben so much better!!!!! he was awesome and the chemistry with him and Abby was out of this world. Bad move Days, bring the old Ben back!!!! Already don’t like the new Ben. I used to look forward to his scenes with Abby, don’t so much any more. Bring back Justin!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!

Personally, I like Chrishell Stause very much. I think she’s beautiful and classy. The problem here is that her acting ability is limited by the series writing. The writers have failed to do her character justice, as the plot and lines written for her are shallow and empty. Why not tell it like it is–Chrishell is a good actress whose potential was seriously sabotaged by lackluster writing.
