Kim Matula Leaving The Bold and the Beautiful!

Late breaking news today has that longtime series star, Kim Matula is leaving her role as Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, after five years with the CBS daytime drama.
The Bold Insider Twitter account put out this tweet with this statement: “We wish #KimMatula the best as she moves on to other opportunities. We love Kim & she will always be a part of the #BoldandBeautiful family.”
Matula appeared on The Talk this afternoon with her co-stars, Darin Brooks (Wyatt), Scott Clifton (Liam), and Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy) promoting their upcoming Amsterdam episodes that kick-off on Friday, November 7th as part of the shows November Sweeps storyline.
According to a B&B rep, there are no plans to recast the role of Hope at this time. On-Air On-Soaps will bring you further details as information comes to light on Matula’s departure from the series.

Glory be! Best news I’ve heard regarding B&B in a long time. No offense to the actress, but the bloody character of Hope Logan has played a large part in what I feel has become the destruction of B&B. The non-stop focus on Hope and Brooke (KKL) has just been too much these past few years. They lost me as a viewer because of it.
I am just so tired of the back and forth between Liam and Wyatt it’s getting very very old
This role could so easily be recast. There must be at least 25 million blonde haired 25 year old actresses looking for a job in L.A.

hallelujah!!! I am sure she is a nice lady in person, but she just cant act worth crap. Good luck to her on getting another role. We will probably see her flipping burgers on Sunset in 2 years given her acting ability. I mean no offense to those who are cooks, it is a great career. Just saying she cant act worth dodo.
I agree they need to be together already!! The writers and screenplay writers are taking up too much time with Ariel views, ridiculous! Not replacing Hope is an epic fail! I am not surprised that Hope is moving on, she is a great actor and you can see her an Liam have a repore together, i am not mad a Wyatt but I can’t stand his face expressions it just doesn’t seem to come naturally to him. And Ivy, star stuck, love struck is aweful! I am really close to not watching this show anymore, I am down to taping it now, I used to plan my day around it LOL that is awefiul I know!! LOL. I used to watch Days many years ago, like 15 and have not watched it since, I am really close to that now with this show. I have to add Caroline walking in heels is SO over the top, if she can’t walk/ run in them then give her a lower heel. She is so fake acting except some times with Rick/ The NEW WRITERS ARE ABOUT TO LOSE ME!!!

if KKL & KM leave the show (B&B) that will be the best bday gift for this coming 13 of Nov.14 i put up with KKL face for 26 years on my screen in a daily basis and KM for 5 years as well please, bring KM (karla mosley) with you! Maya is a replacement of Hope as a huge pest in the show!KKL,KM and another KM (karla mosley) is a huge distraction hypocrite Witch whore character in B&B history!! please bring back Steffy,Thomas & Taylor and if possible please bring back from the dead Queen Stefanie even if recast to make B&B alive again…B&B needs a real Forrester family to run FC.

I didn’t mean to dis the actress. She’s a beautiful young woman. I’m just tired of the whole triangle storylines. Now we’re repeating the pregnancy interrupting true love storyline. I guess Liam deserves it though!

I happen to have loved watching Kimberly Matula. I am very sorry to see her leave. She and her story line is one of the reasons I watch the show. I will greatly miss her sweetness.

This will be a big loss. I hope they look for someone else to replace her. No one can quite fill her shoes, but writing her off and losing another baby will be terrible. If the show is going to have women get pregnant don’t keep having them miscarry.

If Hope is leaving the show, her crazy mother in law will probably have something to do with how she exists the show. I’m sad because she is now pregnant and it has not been proven who the father really is. Her and Liam really love each other and it will be just awful if they let her die off or maybe she’ll come up missing. I can’t see her just leaving Wyatt and never return. I don’t know, just guessing at some reasons they may have her leave the show. Anyway, good luck to Kim in her career. She’ll be missed for sure, the show won’t be the same without her in it.
Kim Matula REALLY lives her role. No fake tears or screeching here. I just wish she and Liam FI-NALLY had their happy ending here. Maybe the actress really IS pregnant and she needs to rest. I do hope she returns. I enjoyed her work. Good luck!
ally from biggest loser was hope and I must say I hated the change but this hope was fantastic!! Allie is doing very well for herself but if Hope and Liam don’t get back together I am SO done! Wyatt has no acting ability in facial expression and Ivy has no ability but to be love struck! Letting one actress go with true talent really? The new Ridge has not held up his part but that is not why I watch…. Hope and Liam make the show! Brooke and Ridge getting back together is always a great suggestion and Katie and Bill working things out. you can create drama by Caroline being pregnant with Rick’s baby and that gets them back together and Brooke and Ridge move to Paris and get married! Ivy gets with Wyatt and Quin is the outcast, she goes to jail for murdering the diamond guy! Liam goes and looks at he puppies at the shelter and Hope has a photo shoot there, she confesses her love for him and gets hit by a man on a scooter and she loses the baby, liam takes her to the hospital and finds out she was further along than they thought and it was Liam ‘s baby all along, They finallly get married and have twins, but during one break up she has sex with wyatt , the twins, as they are brothers, one has Liam ‘s DNA and the other has Wyatt’s!

They are probly leaving for the same reasons we all grip about,boring story lines,it’s boring to watch everyday but it must be twice as boring to read the same lines over and over. B&B thinks it’s so great because they go to Europe for shows but are they really there or are we fed tourists sites with back ground pictures they stand in front of? Like Hope waiting for Liam near the Eiffle Tower,she was behind a hedge for crying out loud,!
I agree!! I was beginning not to watch it all the time even after 25 years! I loved her for a long time and she is a good actress, it was the storyline that was getting too old, making me feel almost stupid for watching!!
I really enjoy Kim as an actress. She is beautiful and has always had a wonderful message. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was that the storyline took her to Wyatt. They had always showed her as NOT being like her mother and how important a message that was, and then they had her going back and forth between Liam and Wyatt. She deserved to be with Liam….someone on the show could at least be happily married.
I would not watch if they took KKL off. She has been the real reason I have watched as long as I have. Since inception of the show in “87. I like Kim, but I have become very disillusioned with the show, everytime we think Hope and Liam will be together, Wyatt enters the pictured and mess things up. I do not like the character, Wyatt, nor his mother Quinn.
I dislike! I wanted her and Liam to finally get together like they should of from the beginning! I will miss her.
Let’s bring Kim Matula back to the Bold Fold! She is definitely the Hope Logan we all love on the day time soap opera. I realize Kim wants to explore her opportunities but she knows the people and she can hold her own when it comes to her character and the men. Kim needs to return so she can put Quinn in a clinic where she belongs. Quin n should pay for what she did when Hope fell down the stairs. Well I hate Wyatt and Quinn. So if her leaving means those two will be off the show, maybe it will be more bearable. Wyatt is just like crazy Azz Quinn. It will show up soon. Maybe Hope will exit by going to Italy to live with, raise her child with along with work for her mother at a Forester Creations there. Then maybe Hope will come back to B&B when her child is a adult. They make children grow up extremely fast on soaps. And last but not least ; I don’t want to see Quinn kill Hope off. .Hope Quinn will flip out & self destruct leaving Wyatt to be his father Bill’s president at Spencer Publications & Liam will move over seas somewhere to work for a Spencer Publications there or another big business leaving Ivy to hook up with someone else that’s a new handsome very powerful character.
This would be crazy maybe she moves to paris and character Hope and steffy become real close friends. i know i may get hammered for saying this i just hope they have Hope lose her baby and she leaves because she just wants to get away from Wyatt and Liam and moves to Paris to work with Steffy and forrester creations in Paris who knows .
Without crazy the show gets boring.Crazy makes soaps more interesting & helps keep the viewers focused so they keep tuning in to view B&B again.

I will miss Kimberly (Hope) on the show. I am hoping with all those leaving that The Bold and the Beautiful will still remain #1 in soaps! I am kind of worried as this is a soap opera that is only 1/2 hour long and they will loose their rating. 🙁

Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

Jacob Martinez is ‘Days of Our Lives’ New Javi Hernandez Replacing Al Calderon in the Role
Finally! The casting has been revealed as to just who would be Al Calderon’s successor in the role of Days of our Lives, Javi Hernandez. On Friday, April 30, the long-running soap opera revealed Jacob Martinez is taking on the part and he will first be seen this coming June 30th and then on all-new episodes streaming on Peacock.
As previously reported, the popular Calderon exited the soap opera last year to join the cast of the NBC primetime medical drama, Brilliant Minds as nurse Nico Silva, who in May will air the remainder of their second season. The series has been on the bubble for renewal by the network. His last episodes as Javi will also air this May on DAYS.
Since DAYS tapes ten months ahead of streaming, Martinez has been secretly ensconced in all the drama in Salem for quite some time. When viewers see the new Javi in story, we should learn what will happen in Javi’s relationship with Leo Stark played by Emmy winner, Greg Rikaart, plus his continued relationship with his relatives in the Hernandez clan. Currently, when Javi returned to Salem after taking care of his ailing father, and after the bust-up of his marriage to Leo thanks to Dimitri (Peter Porte), he claimed he had moved on with someone else while he was away from Salem.

Like Calderon before him, Martinez is a multi-talented actor and singer. Jacob’s resume is impressive having appeared in the musical In Pieces: The Musical at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater and he was hand-picked by Joey Contreras to play the role of Grey. Other credits include: the short film, Memory Swim and the play Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage.
Martinez hails from Norfolk, Nebraska and appeared when he was very young at the Johnny Carson Theatre, and as DAYS fans know, Jacob is now working at the Days of our Lives studios, right where the “Tonight Show” is filled. In addition, Jacob Martinez is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA).
Taking to his Instagram on Thursday, April 30 once the news of his casting was revealed, Martinez, expressed, “Way too many people to thank in one post, so I’ll just say THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART to each and every person who continues to pour into me and encourage me to chase my dreams. I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am. I already feel beyond blessed, supported, and loved. See you all in Salem ⏳”
