Kim Zimmer on B&B rumors & stealing the show on the Soap Cruise!

Will four-time Emmy winner Kim Zimmer join B&B?  Rumors have been swirling for months.  Nelson Branco aboard the Soap Cruise this weekend talked to La Zimmer for his new TV Guide Canada, Soapgeist column and here is what she had to say. “I’d be open to it. Something may happen or it may not.  I love Bradley Bell and Susan Flannery.” As had been reported recently Y&R wanted the former Springfield phenomenon to play the super-short role of Katherine’s faux daughter, Jojo.   Zimmer stated, “I want a short-term role — but not that short!”

Branco goes onto report that Zimmer and Robert Newman (ex- Josh, GL) collectively stole the show on the cruise during a re-enactment of GL’s finale scene!  Branco informed Soapgeist readers, ” The super-couple, who still exude more chemistry than ever, danced to their first wedding theme song, How Could I Ever Love You More, which was performed and sung live by its original composer. It was such a beautiful moment that even non-GL fans had tears in their eyes.”    Hankies!  We wish we were there with the soapers to see that one.

Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco Welcome Their Daughter into The World

Congratulations are in order this weekend for Guiding Light and As the World Turns alum Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, ex-Mick) and his girlfriend, actress Kaley Cuoco (The Flight Attendant, Big Bang Theory) . The two welcomed their first child together, a daughter, named Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.

Matilda was born on March 30 and Tom and Kaley delivered the happy news via their Instagram accounts.

Kaley shared: “We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓 Thank you to the doctors , nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief 💗 @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did.”

GL and ‘Nashville’ Alum Hayden Panettiere Loses Her Younger Brother Jansen at 28-Years-Old

Just devastating news to report on Monday evening.  Hayden Panettiere’s (ex-Lizzie, Guiding Light, ex-Juliette, Nashville) younger brother Jansen Panettiere has died at only 28-years-old.

According to TMZ,  Jansen died over the weekend in New York.  His cause of death is not available, but there was no foul play suspected in Jansen’s death.  Police responded to a call and came to a residence at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday where they found Jansen.

As with his sister, Jansen was deep into his acting career and was only five years younger than Hayden.

Throughout his career he appeared in Even Stevens, The X’s, Tiger Cruise, Racing Stripes, The Martial Arts Kid, The Walking Dead, Major Crimes, and the holiday film Love and Love Not.

Less than 3 weeks ago, Jansen shared an adorable picture on his Instagram with his hair being cut by his big sister, Hayden.

Jansen is survived by Hayden and their parents, Lesley Vogel and Skip Panettiere.

Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco Expecting First Child Together

Congratulations are in order for one of the finest actors we know, Tom Pelphrey (ex-Jonathan, Guiding Light) and his girlfriend former ‘Big Bang Theory’ star, Kaley Cuoco!

The couple each shared a series of photos on their Instagram accounts, announcing that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl!

Cuoco shared: “Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023💕 beyond blessed and over the moon… I 💓you”

Pelphrey expressed: “And then it was even MORE BETTER. 🎀🎀🎀. Love you more than ever @kaleycuoco ♥️🙏♥️”

The couple had confirmed their relationship this past May and recently attended the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards in September where they both were nominees; Cuoco for The Flight Attendant and Pelphrey for Ozark.

Tom and Kaley actually met back in April, and it has been noted in the press as ‘love at first sight’ when Cuoco attended the premiere of Ozark.
