Longtime favorite Lauralee Bell (Christine) is heading back for a return engagement to The Young and the Restless for a series of episodes starting November 9th ( in the middle of sweeps) that will be, according to TV Guide exclusively ” packed with juicy flashbacks — circa 2001-03 — featuring Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, who got her start on Y&R as Isabella, the ex-wife of Paul, who made Christine’s life hell!

Many recall that Longoria played, Isabella Braña,who got pregnant by Christine’s husband, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), and later faked her death and tried to frame Christine for the murder! Later the “dead” Isabella showed up one night and tried to drown Chris in the bathtub.

So what is the tie-in? Wel,l naturally the character of Ricky Williams played by sexy newcomer, Peter Porte.  Clearly, there is something up with this guy’s appearance in Genoa City and there has got to be more than meets the eye. So to get this mystery moving, Y&R needs to give the viewers a refresher course …  enter Lauralee and the drama goes on from there!

Wow! I sort of knew that Y&R was going to do something along these lines when Ricky returned to town. There was just no way that Ricky would show up and there wouldn’t be anything to really back up why Ricky came back to Genoa City. Smart move by Y&R.

Wonder if this has anything to do with Ricky’s sister Heather’s exit from the show…

Awesome! Will be a great way to bring in new viewers! Love that Cricket is coming back… just hope she doesn’t run into Phyllis, or the “BUG” is going to get squashed for kissing Nick at Jimmy’s last year! 🙂 I wanna see that catfight!!

If I was Maria Bell I would be a little concerned with showing flashbacks then you will see how really bad this show has become.

What’s the chances of Eva coming back for a while. I love her on Y&R. She was great as crazy. I too wish the show was as good now as it was then. I’ve been watching for a long time. I’m afraid Y&R will go bay the way of AMC and OLTL sad to lose all our soaps.

GH’s Carolyn Hennesy Addresses Why She Was Not a Part of Nancy Lee Grahn’s ‘Alexis-Centric’ 25th Anniversary Episode

For the past several weeks, savvy General Hospital fans were wondering why on earth was Alexis’ best friend, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), was not a part of Nancy Lee Grahn’s (Alexis) 25th anniversary episode of the ABC daytime drama series, which centered around Alexis saying goodbye to those near and dear before she goes to Pentonville to serve a prison sentence.

After all, Diane and Alexis have been through so much together, that it seemed like a glaring omission. Was Hennesy not asked back for the episode?  The answer came in the form of Hennesy herself via in a response to a fan’s tweet on her being MIA from the episode.

As it turns out, the ever-busy Hennesy was shooting a film in Atlanta and was not available at the time of the tape date of Grahn’s special episode.

Carolyn tweeted: “Not their fault, my dear. I was off filming on Atlanta!!! Cuz you know Diane wouldn’t have missed it!”  That came in response to this: “Watched the big @NancyLeeGrahn ep of #GH and I’m perplexed that there was no Diane! @carolynhennesy One of the most fun TV female friendships and she wasn’t there to send her off? Come on you guys @GeneralHospital”

Mystery solved! Carolyn would have gladly been at the GH set that day in a heartbeat, if she could have.

So, happy to know that GH did not forget about Diane for the Alexis-Centric episode, but had to work around it? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
