Lisa Rinna Flips Off Fans After Hearing Jeers at RHOBH Bravocon Panel, and Says It’s a “Rite of Passage”

Photo: JPI

Former Days of our Lives and Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem star, Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie) has been making the celebrity gossip columns a lot these days; because of all the drama and her ‘attitude’ following the latest season of Bravo’s, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The soap alum has found herself embroiled in several social media controversies that have caused a backlash against her from many followers and viewers of the franchise.

This week at Bravocon’s RHOBH panel, when Rinna was introduced, she was met with some cheers and several boos from a throng of fans. The jeers elicited a reaction from Rinna, where she flipped them off with her middle finger.

After the panel, Lisa addressed the boos with E News! and called it a ‘rite of passage”.

She went on to compare her ‘heel’ reaction to those in professional wrestling, noting: “Everybody was really worried that I was booed and I take it as a rite of passage like a wrestler. It’s like wrestling. When I grew up, I watched wrestling at the local armory and if you were booed you were the star!”

Rinna said she couldn’t wait to share what happened with her husband, Harry Hamlin:  “It’s been 30 years since I’ve been in this business and I can’t wait to call him and say ‘Harry I was booed!’ He’ll be like ‘What? You were?’ I’ll be like ‘Yeah I was.'”

The DAYS alum was recently called out by her RHOBH co-star, Kathy Hilton who deemed Rinna as the “biggest bully in Hollywood” after Rinna accused Hilton of talking trash about her own sister, and the other ladies in the cast in scenes from their trip in Aspen, Colorado. Hilton doubled-down on her comments about Rinna when she spoke to Extra.

In addition, Andy Cohen, who was on stage for the Bravocon panel, was asked by a fan if he could fire Lisa Rinna now. You can watch his reaction below.

So, how do you feel about Lisa after the latest season of RHOBH? Is she now the ultimate villain? Would you like to see her back on DAYS, if they produce another ‘Beyond Salem’ limited-series, or on the main series in a guest arc? Share your thoughts in the comment section. But first, you can check out Kathy Hilton’s comments on Rinna below.

I don’t watch RH of any kind, never have, but I’m 100% behind Lisa giving those “fans” the finger. RH fans can be as big a pain in the ass as soap fans, apparently, and it’s time somebody started telling them where to get off. Actors are people as well as characters and some of these troglydyte fans don’t seem to know that.
Figure it out, knuckleheads.

Chrishell Stause Makes a Return to Days of our Lives

You just never know who you will find in purgatory (ah-hem) on Days of our Lives ! And now, in a surprise return, Chrishell Stause reprises her role of Jordan Ridgeway in all new episodes on the Peacock streaming soap opera.

In the latest promo released on Friday, Chrishell is seen in the ‘afterlife’ as Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) runs into Jordan … her old arch-nemesis! Let the games begin.

Stause, who is one of the mainstays of the Netflix reality series, Selling Sunset, comes back to her old stomping grounds at DAYS just as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Kate have ‘died’ and have all landed in this white space which looks to be heaven, but really is hell in disguise, especially given Marlena’s latest visit with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), who seemingly reveals herself to be possessed by Satan.

Chrishell made her DAYS debut back in August of 2013 and exited the series on March 9th of 2015.  Stause returned in 2019 until Jordan finally met her demise. She returned once again in 2020 in a series of flashbacks.

Watch the promo for next week’s DAYS below.

Now let us know, what do you think of Chrishell returning to DAYS to raise some hell for Kate and company? Comment below.

In the category of Daytime Drama, only Days of our Lives was nominated, thus DAYS becomes the automatic winner as the sole nominee.

The nominated and winning DAYS writing team consists of: Head Writer Ron Carlivati; Writers Lorraine Broderick, Jazmen Darnell Brown, Joanna Cohen, Carolyn Culliton, Richard Culliton, Cheryl Davis, Kirk Doering, Christopher Dunn, Jamey Giddens, David Kreizman, Ryan Quan, Dave Ryan, Katherine D. Schock.

DAYS head writer, Ron Carlivati shared in a statement: “My team and I are thrilled to be nominated for the 2023 Writers Guild Award for Daytime.  We submitted three scripts from the storyline about Craig’s late-in-life coming out, the impact it had on his wife, Nancy, and of course, his ill-fated romance with the ever-scheming Leo. We felt that these episodes were a good representation of what Days of our Lives does best: high-stakes family drama with a comedic twist.”
