i’m tortured ; crestfallen it was a matter of time that came to quick Marci Miller : “sensation” that’s not taken lightly ; as soon as she found her footing , the camera followed and spotlighted a new act she should be featured the nuance; her delivery ; is breathtaking. Kudos congratulations to this WOMAN THIS IS A HIT. smash all record . is she the first woman to land a best leading nomination for only 2 years on ? TAKEN from @Wiki: “…In June 2016, it was announced that Miller had joined the cast of Days of Our Lives,… Read more »

It took a little bit to warm up to her version of Abigail, but it was clear from the get go that she had the acting chops. I do think it is odd that she is leaving so soon. Don’t most new daytime talent get signed to three years or more? Has it even been two years? Front burner story, leaving out of the blue, seemingly way before her contract comes up for renewal – just curious circumstances. And the news that Kate coming back – but possibly only for a limited time? I’ve been wondering if Billy was half… Read more »

Damn shame that she’s leaving. Even more of a damn shame that so much of her time was wasted on ReRon’s 666th idiotic DID storyline.

This seems like a role thats either going to often be recast or written out for good…i see Ab being carted off for treatments like Rosemary Forsythe was when she played Laura…will they recast or not after KM brief return to the role i will wait and see!!!

Often after an Emmy nomination a soap actor is motivated to try to spread their wings and try to break into prime time or films– the work load is lighter and the money better– other actors are happy for the steady gig and count themselves bless to have the gig on the soap– to each their own– wish her well

Marci is a star is born mark my words. She reminds me of Julianne Moore. Shes smart to exit to captialize on primetime and movie opportunities. It was a huge surprise she cracked the lead category. One of the youngest actresses ever to do it. Buzz is she has a primetime show on the horizon

Most likely do die is Marci’s other horror movie,She has such beautiful eyes. Do you like her better as a blond or dark hair? My friend and I think she looks better in darker hair.Dont get me wrong as a blond she is fine just that the darker hair brings out the color in her more.

I know the reason also why I loved the mental illness story so much except for some of the stupid cracks like we are looneys or nut cases,That is not true it is a chemical imbalance in the brain.I should know I have 5 different mental illness.I think it is good for people to see that having a mental illness is not a joke it is very real.I am lucky I dont have a split personality but mood disorders are bad enough.I can certainly relate to this story line and the way Abby is acting now I can see some… Read more »

Marci also has a beautiful singing voice, I can sing to, it doesnt bother anyone because nobody has left there apts yet lol Actually I have been told by several people that I have a nice voice. Well I do love to sing. To be honest I wasn’t to sure if that was Marci singing or not on Days I had to look it up. She sings like an angel.

I will miss her. She was very good in the part. Never cared much for Mansi and not thrilled about her return.

I will miss her portrayal of Abigail. She was a more mature self confident Abigail. The former actress’ portrayal was too “immature, hopefully she will bring more experience than previously demonstrated

I’ll really miss Marci Miller. I think she was great in her role. I find it very hard to relate to Kate Mansi. At least she could have come back as a blond. What does that do to the story line with Gaby and the black wig. The story line has gotten so complex lately, that I’m probably going to give up the show completely.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Julie Stands Up to MarDevil; Susan Seaforth Hayes Reminds Us Why She is Soap Royalty

Friday’s episode of Days of our Lives brought with it, let’s just say, not your typical Turkey Day episode in Salem.  It also moved the story along with MarDevil being exposed!

At Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) Thanksgiving, Doug (Bill Hayes) shouts that Marlena (Deidre Hall) is the devil. However, Marlena still insists that Doug is delusional and needs to be locked back up.  It is then that Julie stands by her husband.  Julie is on to Marlena and wonders if she should call “Marlena,” who she truly is at the moment, “Satan”.

Courtesy/NBC

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) also believe something is terribly wrong.  Marlena tells them this is ridiculous, but Belle wants to hear what else Doug has to say.  Then, Shawn handcuffs Marlena to take her down to the station for questioning.  Julie doesn’t believe for one second that handcuffs will restrain the devil, and she was right! MarDevil breaks the cuffs and flings Shawn across the Thanksgiving dinner table complete with food-a-flying, leaving him unconscious.

Now with yellow eyes and lights flickering, MarDevil goes after Doug and Julie, but Julie stops Satan in his tracks professing “Not today, Satan!” Just then, MarDevil grabs a knife and in a counter move, Julie holds out her rosary saying love is the power and that the God of love is stronger than the devil! Julie defiantly tells MarDevil that the truth is out and Satan’s reign of terror is over! But MarDevil turns the tables and sneers, “It will never be over!”

It was in these scenes opposite Deidre Hall, that Susan Seaforth Hayes shined as she has done for decades given the material, as Julie went the toe-to-toe with the devil and Susan made us believe that love can win out over everything, especially the love of Doug and Julie.

In another touching moment in the episode, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tells EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) from her hospital bed, how she used herself as a human sacrifice for the devil to keep John alive and to protect her son.  An emotional EJ can’t believe that Susan was willing to die for him. However, Susan explains that a mother always protects their child and she would do it all over again when faced with that decision.  Haiduk and Feurriegel also delivered in these scenes.

With John (Drake Hogestyn) freed by Anna (Leann Hunley) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis), he eventually makes his way into the Horton house to confront MarDevil, but Satan is gone.  Instead, John finds Shawn with Doug and Julie and they inform him that MarDevil had left to fulfill her true purpose.  Just then, Marlena arrives at Ben (Rob Scott Wilson) and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal). We fade to black.

Now below, check out Susan Seaforth Hayes in a scene from Friday’s episode as Julie fends off the devil.

Then, let us know, what did you think of Susan’s performance? What do you think MarDevil will do next to Ben and Ciara and “their” baby? Did you enjoy the Susan and EJ scenes? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
