Maura West Is Back On The Scene On GH's Friday Cliffhanger! Is This Mysterious Visitor Ava Jerome Or Someone Else?

2015 Daytime Emmy winner for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Maura West gave General Hospital fans a shock and a thrill on Friday’s episode of the ABC soap opera when after some time off the canvas, she re-emerged!
The set up – While Julian’s (William deVry) children, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes), and his niece Kiki (Hayley Erin), along with Julian’s girlfriend Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) were all at Julian’s penthouse to lend their support while he grieved the supposed “death” of his infant son with Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) the doorbell rang! Lucas goes to answer the door just as Julian has informed his loved ones he is getting out of the mob for good. They will no longer have to live their lives under the threat of being harmed.
But the next thing you know in walks a woman with long black hair/wig with quite the thick New Jersey-esque accent who utters the words, “I’m Parched!” That woman happens to be West, whom when we last saw her character of Ava Jerome she was asking Silas (Michael Easton) to help her end her life since since she was dying from cancer.
But it would appear at first glance that Ava is alive and well and kicking, and about to reveal herself to her family! And now that Morgan and Kiki are back in each others bed, it’s quite the interesting time for Kiki’s mom Ava to return, especially since she was once the gal friend to Morgan! The flipside: Could Ava be truly dead, and this is another Jerome relative no one knew about? Or, is Ava just back to claim her daughter from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and she is going to do this by masquerading as someone else? What do you think is going to happen next?

Well first let me just say, it’s about time! I’ve missed Maura and Ava immensely. The show, to me, lacks something when she isn’t there. It doesn’t have that pop or that zing or that refreshingly fun feeling you get when she’s around. Granted, it wasn’t fun to watch her “die” of cancer, isolated to only scenes with Silas in that dungeonhole of a room but you know what I mean.
The story isn’t what I would have chosen. I mean, it’s definitely soapy but it also seems a little out there. She doesn’t look that different, just a bad wig and the accent. So how is she going to fool the entire town? Granted, most of the people in this town are idiots, but the audience isn’t. It just seems like Ron under-estimating the intelligence of the viewers again.
That being said, I’m looking forward to the story and seeing what they come up with. I hope there’s some kind of unusual twist that will be revealed. What will she call herself? Who will she disclose her true identity to? Is she going to try to see Avery? I’m interested in all of that.
And as long as Maura West is around in any iteration, I will be glued to my screen to watch such a true gem.

Seems like a plan! Hope she lets Michael still be involved with Avery/AJ since he’s been so good to her, and helped keep her safe. Plus it never hurts to be on good terms with a Quartermaine. Interesting to see how Silas will come out of this. Want him back at GH. Also I think she will be able to get over Kiki and Morgan together with not much problem.

As for Maura West…IF she’s still Ava…she might have a twinge of jealousy re Kiki and Morgan..or there might be a budding relationship with her and Silas…
It would make more sense if the mystery woman is not Ava, because it’s not realistic to rebound from dying of cancer that quickly. However, I hope Silas didn’t actually go through with ending Ava’s life, but instead, saves her somehow. Would love to see that play out as Silas/Ava scenes have been really terrific.
As for Silas, despite his involvement in helping a fugitive/murderer, I sure hope he is exonerated and gets much more happiness in his life. He deserves that.
Personally, I hope this is the real Ava, so that she can reclaim HER baby, Avery, and get that poor infant out of the grips of those moronic child usurpers, Mikey and Sappy. (Particularly the latter, since her M.O. is to covet other women’s offspring, then move in for the daddy figure so they can all play “happy family.” It was sickening enough the first time around with Patrick, I’m not interested in a repeat episode…..)
After today’s episode, Su, I am leaning towards agreeing with you. I really think it is Ava. She is just too well-versed with everyone’s personae. She really looks beautiful with that hair and make-up.
We shall see. Ava may be able to get away with the disguise, even after being arrested. I wonder how she will prove she is not Ava….

Well, I hope what you hope…that is, for Ava to reclaim her rightful place in Avery’s little life; being her mommy. But, how will she pull that off? She did kill Connie….then again, perhaps not. Is it possible that someone else shot Connie and Ava thinks she did? Just like Shawn’s bullet missing its mark, Hayden?

@CeeCee….Well, it would seem the devil is in the details, eh??? Perhaps “Real Ava” will sneak into “ChezQ.,” abscond with her infant and hightail it out of the country? If this screwball “Denise” chick truly isn’t the actual item, then could she be the new full-time character for MW, whilst Ava remains “on ice” and off-canvas for the foreseeable future???? Just a conjecture…. All I do know is that it’s cruel and unusual punishment for this mother and child to have been barely together since Avery’s birth….especially given the extraordinary maternal measures required of Ms. Jerome to safely bring her baby into this world. For all of her many transgressions, that was the one fine, decent thing she did and while it certainly doesn’t absolve her sins, it does go quite a ways toward redeeming her once-unlikeable character. Plus, it simply has not set right with me to see that precious little bundle handled like a piece of chattel, being carted from one home to another, amongst all the so-called adults. Save for Silas and Delia, no one else should have ever been in charge of that sweet poppet during Ava’s absence! P.S. Personally, I’d love to see Carrrrr-LOS! legally blamed for Connie’s death….he was a slovenly, scummy dirtbag that deserves to burn for all eternity given his multitude of crimes.
So this is how it will go down…..if Ava is truly in disguise, she will willingly undergo through the process of having her blood drawn, then she will somehow tell Silas who will in turn switch the vials of blood……Or, he and Ava had this all planned out and were prepared to expect the situation to ensue exactly as it did.

Many, many posts ago, I had intimated that this poor child, Avery, albeit a fictitious character, is very much misused and abused. I truly believe the writers should keep storylines that, more or less, focus on very young children as real as possible.
The same could be said of little Danny. TPTB should really hurry Jake along in ‘finding’ himself tout-de-suite, for his child’s sake.
I do hope Ava absconds with the baby….yet, again, that would mean both mother and daughter would be out of the picture. None of us wants that.
Nonetheless, the writers must devise a way to hold on to Ava/Denise as firmly as possible. Later.

.What if…..in his search to find a bone marrow match for Ava, Silas comes across one Denise DiMuccio?
What if……Delia had identical twin girls and two different families adopted the babies? There is a chance Delia keeps in touch with Denise, but does not divulge the existence of the other to either Denise or Ava.
It is also plausible that Delia knows about Ava and she is the one who brought Denise onto the scene.
Denise is a match, of course…..her DNA is a match. Well, no DNA is an exact science/match even with identical twins (my husband said there is a number variant, or something?), but with a 99.999% inclusion.
Silas, Denise and Ava form a pact that, in case Ava dies, Denise is to take the responsibility of rearing Avery as her own. Whatever needs to be done with details, Silas will take upon himself.
Perhaps, Denise’s ‘appearance’ is not coincidental, but a set-up devised by the trio: deliberate and resolute.
I cannot wait for the fireworks, whatever the circumstances.

@CeeCee….It does seem after these past few days that the tide is running in favor of a twin or “doppelganger” for Ava in the form of Denise, which would play into your theory? Of course, it still could just be a brilliantly-devised scheme on the part of Ms. Jerome, Silas and perhaps even, Delia (since she is slated to suddenly appear on Friday and Monday!….) to deceive law enforcement and most of Port Charles! (Not a terribly tall task to be sure…..) It actually matters none to me, as long as it serves as a means for RealAva to reclaim her daughter. Not unlike you, CeeCee, I am appalled with the lack of intact families on this show, and particularly, that sorry situation in which little angel Avery has been placed. Time to reunite her with her bio-family, and especially, her mother, if at all possible. Ditto for Danny and “Daddy.” I realize that the notion of the nuclear family is consider passe’ by many these days, but for those of us with traditional values, it would be nice to preserve at least an occasional vestige of that illusion. (Right now we only have Lulu and Dante, and Val-Chops is definitely doing her level-best to change that!) Nearly every child on this show is living in a broken home and most are illegitimate. (Come to think of it, at least half the cast is, too! I’m not kidding! Off the top of my head, there’s Avery, Ava, Alexis, Lucas, Carly, Sam, Franco, Mikey, Jakeson, Britt, Nathan, Spencer, Georgie, TJ, Dante and Baby Falconeri, not to mention Laura, Christina, Ethan, the late Gabe the Babe and possibly Brad, Val-Chops, Grossalie and Sappy??? That’s quite a list, even for a soap opera! Phew!) P.S. As for Carrrr-LOS!? Yes, they should besmirch his name as much as possible….he was a complete piece of garbage, and I’ve also had quite enough of his “ghost” terrorizing Anna! She has no reason to feel guilty for taking him out….that lady did the world an immense favor by exterminating the mangy, blood-thirsty freak. Instead of being haunted, she should be lauded…give Ms. Devane a medal!!!!

There is also a chance the treatment may have altered her mind? The wig could be from hair loss due to chemo.
If she is indeed a twin separated at birth , but later find each other (stab in the dark, here), perhaps Ava left documentation, giving her ‘twin’ guardianship of little Avery.
….Better yet, it is indeed Ava with falsified papers with a different ID. All of it accomplished with the help of Silas. Am I making any sense? LOL.

It could also be a Massachusetts accent……later lived in Boston; so, the accent would come easily to her.
If truth be known? I can’t really tell. New York ‘accents’ are regional….as I am sure the same applies to New Jersey.

I live in Jersey and didn’t take offense to Michael saying that whatsoever. We all know the New York and New Jersey accent is very similar. It’s not like Michael said it in a derogatory way. I’m just glad to have the super talented Maura West back on my screen.
Lol, Dan. I think Kathy feels the sting of stereotyping….I, personally do not blame her. It’s usually ‘those’ who have no clue about regional accents that ridicule us. I honestly think that the JERSEY SHORE debacle, which was not a true representation of what a Jerseyite is, did not help by presenting a false image of the state and its citizens. Sewer rats are found in every state. My husband has relatives in Ridgewood, New Jersey that are very well-to-do professionals.

Funny, you speak what I feel about Sam/Jason. Don’t see the chemistry either, so KM and BM really have to ACT well to make it believable. With Liz, Jason/Jake is so natural and the difference is obvious.

Re Julian…his reason makes no sense. Now that he thinks he lost his infant son he’s quitting the mob…but Lucas getting shot and almost dying, Alexis having her house blown up which might have blown her up as well…THOSE weren’t enough reasons for him to get out and stay out. And now, even though he ordered Duke’s hit and, hangs head…Duke’s dead…and Alexis is leaving him AGAIN…well, wow, golly gee…he’ll just get out for good this time. At least Sonny never makes that promise! LOL…

Well, then….You know how I feel about Sam. I agree, she cannot stand on her own. The writers ALWAYS, without fail, bracket her with other characters as supports.
I am very familiar with Billy Miller’s stage presence, skillful acting and positive response from any audience, but not Kelly Monaco’s so much. Nothing spectacular or outstanding about her acting made be do a double-take, so far…..her love-scenes with both Silas and Patrick were/are as boring as oatmeal. Her boring mode of dress, combined with her less-than-bubbly personality make her a wall-flower.
Nonetheless, I saw a scintilla of a spark during Sam’s interaction with Jake, at the garage….you know…..where there’s a spark, there’s fahya!!!! …..we shall see, Patrick and Molly…..Jake may have that ‘thaaang’ Sam needs ……we may be pleasantly surprised.
In a way it’s too bad what they’ve done with the Alexis character over the years. She originally was a very competent lawyer. Fun to see her work in court, and her “marriage” to Jax.. The writers seemed to dumb her down when it came to he choice in men and clients. Same with Diane. Wish they didn’t do that to otherwise strong women. Can forgive Alexis’s first encounter with Julian. She was a rebellious then, and didn’t know anything about his family. No excuse for Julian, Sonny and Jerry Jax when she “grew up.”
So glad to have her back! I was just wondering when she was gok g to be back among the citizens of Port Charles!! Welcome.back!! I cannot wait to see what happens next!
I hope this not a long lost twin sister or Olivia St. John storyplot. If so I’m gonna be really upset with Gh. I swear sometimes they get it right and sometimes it to comical….. The Fluke/Luke storyline took forever. Jason/Jake storyline is taking forever. Only good thing I seen in a while was the big reveal into Luke’s past!

Good catch Chrizzxxx although Rena Sofer as Lois was more natural in her portrayal as a Brooklynite; I don’t think her accent was as affected,or say, put on as much Maura’s is. I think Maura is taking a page from Kelly Sullivan”s Connie Falconeri. or perhaps Michelle Pfeiffer in Married to the Mob .
I was born in Brooklyn, grew up in Manhattan and don’t have a trace of the type of accent people try to stereotypically affect when acting to represent N.Yawka s. Accents are regional in N.Y. and it’s five boroughs, as well as the rest of the state.

So glad Maura’s back. Betting/hoping it’s Ava in disguise. Looking back, we never did see who took baby Avery out of the hospital. Then we never saw much of Silas recently except small stints between GH and Ava’s bedside. The last visit was supposed to administer Ava’s dying wish. Or was it really bone marrow from Avery since Silas was very uncomfortable with the other? Did the bone marrow work? I hope this is the case and Ava’s back, better than ever. If so, watch out!

As soon as the baby disappeared, and the fact that Ava was on her deathbed, I, and many others assumed Silas took the baby. That was the reason why the good doctor tested Avery’s blood. There was no way TPTB would allow Ava to die. Alors, VOILA’.
I believe it’s Ava……I think Silas took baby Avery (prettier name than AJ!) & ran a bone marrow treatment on Ava. During the time when the baby was taken, he said to himself, ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this’…..what else could he have meant?!!! Since her late half-sister Olivia St. John is also supposedly dead, she might pose as a long-lost cousin. However it goes, I’m glad to see Maura West back onscreen!

I am surprised at the way they’ve drawn Alexis in this situation. There is a point of no return and killing Duke should have been it. She knew Duke; she knows Anna, Emma, Robin…people who loved him. She’s given Julian an ultimatum before. I like Alexis…a lot. But this decision goes against everything she believes in. She’s left others for less…Shawn…for one. And she actually cared for him, too.
There are too many interlocking ties…Sam loves Patrick and Emma who loved Duke. If she stays close to Julian after learning he ordered the hit, then she betrays them.
Alexis is friends with Mac…which by the way…BRING BACK MAC!!!!!!!…the powers that be just tossed him aside! Mac used to have a pretty strong moral presence on the show, though they never gave him front burner story. Don’t know why. He’s got soap opera good looks, he can act…why hasn’t anyone developed this character past cop/dad. But I digress. Alexis is friends with the nowhere to be found Mac; if they ever deem him worthy to appear again…how will she reconcile that her man killed Mac’s close friend, Duke?
And on another side note, everyone keeps saying Julian ordered the hit…I’d say he approved it. It was Carlos’s idea from the start.
Almost every character in the show has some ties to the mob…and they’re all one big love/hate dysfunctional family…
We’re on the same page about Alexis for different reasons. Check my comment under Aria/Patrick. Don’t like what they’ve done with her character. In a parallel way they’ve done the same thing with Mac. Dumbed him down with less story time since he’s no longer commissioner…and now he’s a bartender?!? Like you said it would be more interesting and fun to pick up on his past skills. Have him team up with Anna work on a few cases independently once in a while, and even throw in Felicia for fun, since they so unceremoniously cheated her out of becoming mayor. Or just discover the vote cheat and put her in as mayor.
Unfortunately none of that will probably happen, Rose. They apparently have no interest in developing stories for the vets; they just pop in occasionally for old times sake and to create the illusion that they’re actually still part of the story.
If the fans that are really serious about getting our legacy characters back boycotted the show we’d be cutting off our nose to spite our face (never really understood that expression! lol) but you get my drift. They’d lose so many viewers the ratings would go down and we’d lose the show…so that’d defeat the purpose. But it really irks me…from Duke and AJ dead to Mac, Felicia, Kevin, Lucy, Monica, etc…barely there.
They should put their little writer thinking caps on and come up with a plan to actually use GH cast members!
Rebecca! Guess what? The earth is flat and we are on the same page as far as Alexis is concerned. I hate what they’ve done to Alexis. She ought to be paired up with another attorney–someone smart, savvy and witty. They could could be throwbacks to Spencer and Hepburn. I am tired of Alexis turning a blind eye to Julian’s crimes as it makes her seem to be a bit of hypocrite.
I remember when Alexis was first introduced to the canvas. There was a brief scene featuring Alexis reading a book. You know what that book was? Ava by Vladimir Nabokov, my all time favorite writer. Now any woman who is smart enough to read and understand Nabokov is smart enough to know she is sleeping with a rattle snake.
Harry…I love the comparison to Tracy and Hepburn. Actually, if Sloane was on the up and up I could see him with Alexis. He’s got a biting wit and a slow drawl…seems savvy…but I always loved her with Ned. Remember them back in the day? But she was commitment phobic if I remember correctly.
I’ve said this before…unfortunately, lots of the women on the show are with or love murderers…Sam/Jason, Liz/Jason, Tracy/Luke, Joe Scully, Diane/Max, Olivia/Johnny, Sonny,…lol…Britt’s even warming up to dear old dad, Faison!
We need Jax…the gorgeous voice of reason….

I was thinking that too. Didn’t watch the show when she was killed so I don’t know if they ever confirmed she was dead as in bullet-ridden/under the ground dead… not that that would matter… 😉
Rebecca, Olivia was obsessed with Duke and stalked him while tormenting Anna.
If the writers pay fidelity to history and this is Olivia, then she will not be happy with her brother for killing Duke.
I hated the actress as Ava and thought her expressions looked annoying. She is much more attractive as a brunette. BUT, I hope that it’s a new character (like we don’t have enough already) as it’s very unrealistic to portray a bone marrow transplant patients as up and about after only a few weeks. It should be treated like the AIDs information the show uses to make the public aware.
Irene, when Maura West came in snapping the gum and utilizing a poor rendition of what she thinks folks from New Jersey sound like, I just sighed. I mean, really? Is this is the best they can do?
The Jerome family lives on and keeps growing while the Quartermaines and The Scorpios continue to dwindle into the endangered species list.
Denise/Ava said she was from Queens. Her rendition is actually pretty good, Harry.
Maura West is from Springfield, Mass. I am very familiar with that particular, regional accent….so, the affectation is not so far-fetched.
Port Charles is rife with slithering scum, for sure. However, I must admit that the mighty Corinthos is the bane of everyone’s existence….more so than Julian, for me. I just wanted to punch that toothy, feline, feral grin/smirk right off his swarthy, ______, face when he was harassing Denise.
I am seethingly taken aback each time Sonny exhibits that hypocritical display of righteous indignation by spewing his special kind of garbage. Really? He killed AJ…an unarmed, innocent man!! So, now, ‘Mini-Me’ is threatening Denise/Ava with Pentonville? Isn’t that where he should be, as well?
I do agree with you…I also wish there were more Quartermaines than just Michael and Tracy.
I do hope that soon the citizens of Port Charles will have Jake/Jason Quartermaine in their midst.
I love Mac and Felicia….however, the chance of seeing this couple on a regular basis seems quite slim.
Finnnnally, Queen bee’s back !! I was starting to go into withdrawals. How FUN
would it be to have her play DUEL roles… Not just a run of the mill disguise to
protect Ava’s identity from the PCPD, although they couldn’t find their own A–ES
with both hands and a road map. Maybe a long lost, LOW BROW cousin from
the wrong side of the tracks, who can take the fall when the “COPS” come
knocking at Ava’s door. Or perhaps an identical twin separated at birth another
great way to bring Delia back as well. That’s when FV should consider getting
Mike, Sonny’s father to make an impromptu visit.
I hope this is a different character and Ava really isn’t dead so Maura West can play two characters at once.

My wish would be that Silas took Avery and got the bone marrow, returned her, Ava had a remission and is back with a vengeance to get her daughter! That would be so cool because the character of Ava is to awesome to be dead!
I think it will be Ava’s twin that nobody knew about and they will bring Delia back on the show to explain. or she could play the older sister Olivia that Julien supposedly killed. Maybe she wasn’t killed after all. Either way I am sure this will be great. Bringing Ava back would be too hard and I think that’s why the writers came up with this.
Well if it is Ava I will be ticked because I really wanted to see the scene when she awoke after she thought she was going to die– I’ve been waiting for weeks for them to go back to that, to see her confront Silas about lying to her and for using her baby for a donor when she forbid him to do it. Of course they could show those scenes as flashbacks, so as long I get to see those scenes I’ll be okay with this being Ava– but if it is all played off screen and we just get to hear about it– then I stand by my I will be really tick statement.
If she is a new character because of her resemblance to Ava I suspect she will either be murdered so Ava can take her place, or they will make her look like Ava, shipped her to prison and Ava then takes her place on the outside.

I agree with you. I surmised the same thing, among everyone else. The baby and Silas saved Ava’s life. This is why I am so looking forward to this storyline….if the baby saved her mother’s life, is Denise really Ava? Does one thing have anything to do with the other?

It doesn’t matter to me who she’s playing, Maura West is one of those actresses that, as the old saying goes, I would watch read the phone book. Back in the day when we still had phone books, lol. She’s the cream of the crop on the female side of the cast on GH these days. Very glad to have her back, and I look forward to seeing this story unfold.

This could be either Ava in a horrible attempt to get back with her family, or GH is repeating what they did when they lost the rights of using OLTL characters by bringing them back as new character. Unlike Sonny, I don’t think Ava got a pardon and got a hair dye job! 🙁
Love Maura West and she looks amazing as a brunette. Hope this isn’t another version of Luke/Fluke. Let her be a new character, which would be fair since Ava did murder Connie and shouldn’t be another character that gets away with horrible acts…time for that to stop. Maura can play anything and this should be a fresh and exciting new character.
I think its Ava’s twin Aron, Abby or Angel? She will get a lot of attention because people will accuse her of being Ava and then Ava will slide into PC in a wig to see her daughters and use her unknown twins arrival to her benefit. Plus, if you remember, as soon as Julian declared he is out of the mob, the knock at the door and its BRUAVA [Brunette Ava] and I’m sure she is looking for her brother because she is in trouble or wants a piece of the Jerome pie? Whatever the case, Maura will make it interesting/

What I absolutely cannot stand is how nonchalant the entire room was when ‘Ava” or Denise walked in. You would think Kiki, Morgan and Juluan would have a tad more of a reaction than they did. Kiki should have ran into her arms…Morhpgan, regardless of whether he’s now back in love with Kiki…should have been thrilled that the woman he once so desperately loved was alive, and Julian should have been relieved, emotional..,to think the sister he claims to have loved in the end was standing there before him. And Lucas? Lol…okay, she’s nothing to him but he knew she was supposedly dead. Instead, there’s a second knock on the door and he’s like…” Oh, that must be Brad.”
When the audience is more surprised to see a character return, then the people in the story…there’s something a bit off emotionally…

Your right about the “room’s” reaction to Denise. How about Surprise!, “Wow, you look so much like Ava,” etc., etc., etc. And even if down deep they think Ava is dead, someone like Kiki and Julian also know she is a survivor. Maybe… But she’s assumed guilty of something by everyone instead. To be fair, maybe that’s a knees-jerk reaction because some really did grieve when they thought she was dead. And Dante is just “doing his job” but being a jerk doing it.

‘General Hospital’s’ Jonathan Bennett Receives 3 ‘Critics Choice Real TV Awards’ Nominations for Hallmark Series, ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’
Many things are coming up roses for Jonathan Bennett! On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Winners will be announced online at CriticsChoice.com on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the nominations, GH’s Bennett, enthused, “3 Critic Choice Nominations! I’m so proud of the FINDING MR CHRISTMAS and to be in the company of all the legends in all these categories is so surreal! Congrats to Hallmark Channel and to our nominated cast and nominated show and everyone who made this magical show possible. This is crazy! This gives FMC 6 Critics Choice nominations in 2 years. Not bad for a little show on Hallmark Channel. What are your thoughts on our show?” Jumping first into the comment thread was one of his new GH co-stars, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) who expressed, “Yeah buddy!!!🔥🔥”
In the series, Bennett, the host and co-creator spends eight weeks guiding 10 aspiring actors through a series of “festive face-offs” and acting challenges alongside actors like soap opera notables, Hunter King (ex-Summer, Y&R) and Alison Sweeney (Sami, DAYS). Along the way, they develop their skills and a bond with one another. The show, which is available on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Plus, highlights LGBTQ+ representation with openly gay contestants vying to be the next Hallmark star.
It should be noted that Traitors received the most Critics Choice Real TV Award nominations with 6 nods, followed by Dancing with the Stars with 4.
Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Daytime Emmy winner, Kelly Thiebaud spoke to Soap Opera Digest, about the story point and getting the opportunity this time back at GH to work with Ryan Paevey, when she hadn’t had the chance to before.
BROTHERLY LOVE?
Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Reveals His Plan to Set Up Chase and Willow to Have an Affair
After the Wednesday, April 29 episode of General Hospital, it’s clear outside interference and other circumstances are set to blow Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) marriage sky high, as Michael (Rory Gibson) reveals his plans to entrap Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and use her relationship with Chase to do it!
In story, Michael dropped by unexpectedly to Carly’s (Laura Wright). A plotting Michael reveals his plan to nudge Willow and Chase into having an affair. Michael hopes it would create both a political and personal scandal, where Willow would lose her seat in congress. In the scenario, she would be having an affair with her ex-husband, while taking care of her supposed disabled husband, Drew (Cameron Mathison), who cannot speak and is confined to a wheelchair, which in turn will look horrible for Willow’s character.
Carly asked does he really want to destroy his cousin, Brook Lynn’s life in the process? Michael goes in on Chase’s holier than thou attitude, and says he is going to set-up the circumstances that would lead Chase and Willow to betray their spouses, and hit the sheets together. Michael swears to Carly what the two of them do is up to them, but he’s going to go on the offense with this.
MICHAEL HAS BACK-UP
Later, Jacinda (Paige Herschell) is talking with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) at Crimson and how much she dislikes Willow because of what she has done to Michael. Just then, Michael shows up and tells Jacinda privately, he’s figured out a way to fight Willow. Looks like Jacinda might work with Michael to bring down Willow and use Chase as the person to do it!
At the hospital, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that Carly is cheating on Jack, but he doesn’t know with who. Josslyn suddenly flashes back to the moment she found her mother harboring a fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), in her attic, and as figured out that her mother is sleeping with him. She heads out.

BRENNAN IS ABOUT TO LEARN ABOUT CARLY
Next thing you know, Josslyn has showed up inside Jack’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room at the Metro Court and when he enters his room, he is shocked to find her there. He lays into her for not keeping his distance and that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will have no problem killing her if he knows she’s WSB. Josslyn fires back that he is only concerned about that because his relationship with her mother depends on her being safe. But then, she lays the boom, and tells Jack, Well, you’re too late. You already lost her.”
LULU GETS A GLIMPSE OF CASSIUS’ TEMPER
In addition, Lulu (Alexa Havins) sees a different side of “Nathan.” Since she is unaware that the man before her is his twin, Cassius Fasion (Ryan Paevey), he tells her that Rocco (Finn Carr) blabbed that he shot Cullum to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and now he thinks they should send him away to stop him from talking to everyone else. This concerns Lulu, who rails at Nathan for telling her what to do with her son and that she isn’t going to abandon him. With “Nathan’s” outburst at her on the matter, will she finally get a clue this is not the man she thinks it is?
