Didn’t FV say that they couldn’t bring Nat until the rights came back to ABC and was one of the actors/characters that were part of the deal.

I hope to high heaven that Natalie never joins GH, she is awful and the character should not be in PC in Johns life.. Enough from OLTL and Natalie is not needed.
John has a good life now and has become an awesome character without Nat ,the best he has ever been, actually..
John is is great/awesome/alluring without our Nat in his life!!!

I find the lack of Natalie within the story YET using her to make John appear sympathetic, a little half-a**ed and I borderline hated ‘Jolie’.

If she’s good enough to mention and try to drag her name through the mud, she’s good enough to be on the show. The age bracket in which she is in is lacking on GH. They could have made space for her. They certainly did with the rest of the characters they brought from OLTL to GH.

Except, she’s not there. So, she’s used as this subplot to build up John and Sam and I simply do not buy it. If John was so concerned about being a father to Liam, he would have. Instead, he’s off being some friend to Sam and saving her day. While Natalie is supposedly off doing whatever it was the writers felt like writing that day to justify John’s actions. I’m sorry but it doesn’t. He chose to chase Sam. He chose to ignore the fact that he had a son with Natalie and he missed the majority of his life and should have been trying to get to know him better. If he was doing that instead of going after someone who was married and obviously emotionally unstable to handle the situation that they had the potential to be involved in, I do not feel sorry for him nor think Natalie is the devil for taking their son elsewhere. Even now, he’s not making an effort to see Liam or making sure he’s not cut out of his life.

Also, Melissa, you are wrong. This is General Hospital; not Port Charles. The fact that this industry STILL thinks they can cross actor/actresses pairings on another show from their original is astonishing. Do they not get that the audience hasn’t brought one pairing done in this manner? Why is that? Because they try to force the issue; which is exactly what they tried to do with John and Sam. It’s the exact reason why they haven’t truly been brought among fans because no one wants to see Caleb and Olivia. We want to see how John McBain and Sam Morgan (nee. McCall) stack up. Write the story that fits the current characters; not the story that they have with their ‘chemistry’ and previous working experience with one another. As far for them stacking up as John and Sam, they do not stack up as characters to make me want to root for them and their romantic relationship. I have never seen a pairing who has chemistry but doesn’t have chemistry at the same time and yet the writers are insisting on forcing the issue. I honestly like the friendship between John and Sam; when they aren’t forcing them to be romantic and something they don’t need.

To end this long ended response, it’s nice to know that Melissa isn’t ruling an appearance on GH completely out but if you do not want to come on just to have Natalie on, I honestly do not want to see Natalie thrust into a situation where she’s coming in to be a romantic spoiler like she’s some other woman that he doesn’t have some long and complicated history when she’s not.

If MA came on GH as Natalie I would watch without a second thought because she would definitely shake things up. The show has become boring and John’s story is one big mess of badly stitched together plot points, that consists of script that would never be part of John’s vocabulary and where they can’t decide whether he’s a cheater or a dummie but three things he’s not anymore is likeable, rootable or a hero. His scenes now stink of badly recycled Jolie moments, like we wouldn’t know . At least write an original story because John and Sam suck at Jolie part 2. Nat had spunk, beauty and she was an original, a character of her nature is sorely lacking on that show. IMO,this means to me that there was no reason for OLTL fans to have tuned into GH in the first place in hopes of seeing their beloved characters go on. All FV and RC have done is slap loyal fans of GH and a cancelled OLTL in the face. They’ve run Jason off and refuse to bring Nat on all for two aging vampires from a previously low rated, cancelled soap, who’ve lost whatever appeal they once had. John and Natalie ended happily on OLTL, if they wantted to have Kemo and ME then he should have come over as another character because now I wouldn’t watch him if you paid me, he’s ffwd material now. Without Natalie and Liam John is now just a loser, a deadbeat and a coward, not to mention boring. I have no interest in a character like that.. The show took our timeslot, our characters and destroyed them especially John McBain and our happy endings. It’s definitely time to stop watching, they’ve proven they don’t care about us as their new viewers. Until MA as Natalie is bought on to kick John’s behind and show PC what Bam really is I think I will take a leave because as in the arrogant words of RC ,’This show is obviously not for me”.

Since Jason is gone (for now) I wouldn’t mind seeing John and Sam become romantically involved – if only for Natalie to come back and throw a wrench in their plans.

I haven’t been a fan of MA’s (just never cared one way or another), though I have heard glowing things about her through her castmates at OLTL.

This response however has made me a fan of her’s personally.

I can just imagine at least a dozen soap “divas” being insulted and disparage their former boss over a choice like this. They would see themselves as so invaluable, how dare any show not kiss their feet to come back on!?!?

But not MA. A classy, appreciative, hopeful response with no hint of spite whatsoever. Truly commendable.

As for my hopes for her to return to GH, still couldn’t care less. Not watching the show either way.

I personally don’t see how she’d fit into Port Charles. I think it’s best she stay away from the show.

I loved One Life to Live i miss everyone from there my #1 soap . I wish they would bring Natalie and Liam so John could see them they were so close for so long its weird how they broke up over a nasty jerk like Todd . I always wanted them to get back together they were such a cute couple . I miss Natalie and i miss her sister Jessica it would be nice if they would add David Gregory and his brothers too. There are not that many families on Gh they need new blood to keep it exciting since they lost their Best man Jason i always liked him . I think hes awesome too. I was lucky i knew that Oltl was going to be off so i taped about 6 months of it on dvd.:-)

She is a class act and very smart to answer those questons in a smart political way.

I would love MA to come to GH as Natalie but I agree is not time. Although interaction with Sam has diluted my love for John McBain. I wonder if TPTB are aware that we do not swallow every pairing they shove down our throats. It also took away from the credibility of the JASAM happy ending they rushed through. Damage is usually done to the woman characters on GH and this time is no different = Sam looks less like a woman who is madly in love with Jason and more like a woman who does not have the courage to be alone.

All this Prospect Park bs doesn’t make sense. First of all, Michael
Easton agreed to join the online version pending AFTRA approval, so did Florencia and they both have been on GH; Easton even has a contract. So how can PP be holding up anything? And how can people like Melissa be under contract to somethng that doesn’t even exist? Is she being paid while being held hostage by PP? I doubt it. And what about Erica Slezak – she was the first to sign on to PP. Is she prevented from doing anything? No matter how you look at it, this whole PP excuse doesn’t make sense. If ABC wanted more OLTL stars on GH those stars would be on GH. And I’ve also heard that ABC will bring back OLTL after the rights are relinquished by PP. Not buying any of it.

Although I feel that bringing Melissa Archer over to GH would be fantastic, I have to admit that the John and Sam pairing brings alot of heat! Like Melissa said, the two were great together on Port Charles, so why not use that chemistry again. However, I have a feeling that somewhere down the road, Melissa will be asked to stir things up on GH once John and Sam become an official couple…you just know that is where the storyline is going!

They should bether as a family…….

I am hoping Natalie will come back and make John someone tolerable. I can’t even look at his face presently.

As of now, his character has abandoned fatherhood for months because he needed justice for his sister. He spent most of that time, helping Sam instead of seeking justice. Finds out that Joe Jr killed her, and then nothing. Joe Jr practically ran around Port Charles having sexy time with Tracy, kidnapping the children and bank rolling Trey’s projects/marriage. He was even an acquaintance of Jerry Jax.

Add that john cheats on Natalie, goes home to her and makes no mention of it. Todd tells Natalie, and he goes to attack Todd for his role in ending his relationship? Did Todd hold a gun to his head and make him a cheater?

Then he was going to “fight for his Family” which involved staying far from llanview in Port Charles, hiring the mother of the woman he cheated with, ranting that Natalie has no right to take his son which he ignored for months, pity seeking and of course, spending time with the woman he cheated with. Yes, This is EXACTLY how one goes about building a family.

And since I have no interest in Sam, John the scumbag with Sam is the worse part of GH for me. I not so secretly wish Duke would have killed John instead or has him somewhere being electrocuted with Robin.

OLTL is over and the stories and couples need to RIP with OLTL..
GH is not and should not carry on stories from a a long dead soap into its’ realm..
The crossovers now have new lives in Port Charles and are not carrying their OL baggage with them into their futures on GH.
There should never be a Natalie and John in GH, Port Charles is a new start for the crossovers.
I understand how much the OL fans miss their soap but expecting RC and FV to continue on OL in GH is crazy..

I love MA & loved her as Natalie. However, it’s getting really old when “Natalie” is continually being used as a “plot point” for John on GH. If Valentini/Carlivati want their dream of “Calivia – Part II”, they should have had John come on as already being single, with a custody agreement already agreed on ( then when ME took time off, it could be explained he was spending time with Liam) OR they should have brought him on as a new character. Plus, they should realize that neither John nor Sam are anything like their PC characters – but instead character assasination has taken place (imo) with everyone involved simply because Valentini/Carlivati are living in the past & want to recreate the past. Regarding MA – yes, I would watch if she came on GH BUT if all her story would be was a “spoiler” for the great “McBam” romance – then no thanks (and I hope that’s what she says IF offered).

I love Natalie and hope she comes to GH. Not into Sam and John. Sam doesn’t even believe Jason is dead yet and then she needs time to grieve for her husband and get to know Danny. Not a good time for a Sam/John hookup if you ask me.

Hope TPTB read this blog. THE FANS WANT MELISSA ARCHER’S NATALIE ASAP! Make it so.
