The Practice favorite, Michael Baldalucco is set to debut on The Young and the Restless on October 13th when he begins his role as bookie, Hogan, who will go after Jeffrey Bardwell (Ted Shackleford) and Gloria (Judith Chapman) to get back some much needed cashola!  And, what if the bungling lovebirds don’t cough it up?  Ah, well let’s just say Hogie has a bad side too.  In a new interview out today with TV Guide, Michael B. had this say about his first foray working in daytime with soapfamous Y&R EP, Paul Rauch, and a bit about his new alter-ego Hogan.

Baldalucco on how it is going being on a soap: “Well, they haven’t fired me! Paul Rauch is the big executive over there and he’s very, very nice, but he did have to give me some pointers. That guy is like the voice of God, with his voice coming over the loudspeaker. I was trying to do a little bit of business with Judith — I had Hogan being kind of friendly with Gloria because in soap operas you fool around with the girls, right? — but I guess I was moving too quickly. Paul told me to stick to business! At Y&R, there is no screwing up! There is no slouching!”

Baldalucco on just who is this Hogan fellow he is portraying: “He’s a great character — the kind of guy who’ll cry at a wedding, but then the next day he might have to break the groom’s legs over an unpaid bet.”

Total exclusion of Ashbys/Winters/Tucker from ALL GC Events and limiting this Family to one bloody day a week whilst inundating us with worthless shitake about nothing the other four days?
