The action and parties did not die down after Sunday night’s WrestleMania 41 Night Two at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas which saw John Cena defeat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The win gave Cena a record-breaking 17th time holding a WWE title and officially becoming the GOAT of pro wrestling; even though he did it with some very questionable tactics.

The following morning on Monday, April 21st and into the afternoon, Netflix, the global streamer of WWE Monday Night RAW, hosted a brunch attended by invited celebrities along with many of the WWE superstars at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was held just hours before the explosive game-changing episode of RAW after Mania.

Taking to the red carpet was none other than Daytime Emmy-winner and one of the current stars of CBS’ new daytime soap opera, Beyond the Gates, Mike Manning (“Smitty”).  As it turns out, Manning is quite the fan of the WWE, so he took a moment to hit a double bicep pose for the paparazzi.

Also making a splash to resounding echoes of “Yeets” was the new WWE champion “Main Event” Jey Uso, who won the belt defeating Gunther on night 0ne of WrestleMania 41.  Other title holders in attendance included: one-half of the new WWE Tag Team Champions, “The New Day,” in Kofi Kingston, Women’s Tag Team Champions again (after losing at ‘Mania’ on Sunday, but winning back on RAW on Monday), Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Other WWE superstars in attendance included: NXT’s Trick Williams (Pictured below with DNA), WWE’s Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, The Street Profits: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, and the United States Women’s Champion, Chelsea Green, plus Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandon, and WWE President, Nick Khan.

Now below take a look at a few of the other snaps from the Netflix/Monday Night RAW Vegas Brunch.

New Day’s bad attitude had not stopped them one bit, now that they will do anything to win! And voila! Kofi Kingston is one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions with Xavier Woods.

Mike’s being wasted on BTG. He needs a hot romance. Not a husband who carries his balls in his purse!

Its funny to see Mr. Fairman with WWE ‘s “Final Family” Uos Uos! Michael, are you a fan of wrestling? It would be fun one day for you to write an article on the similarities between a soap opera and a WWE match up. Obviously there are always storylines on soaps, and that has always been the case with wrestling, but now more than ever, wrestling has stories that sometimes take months to cycle and move on with the wrestlers involved. Good drama.

Hey Michael, thats really cool. I will check out your weekly wrestling series. I love talking and listening to wrestling shows. And speaking of WM 41, the first Smackdown had a 6 man TLC match that belonged at Wrestlemania! It was incredible. The spots that these guys landed was amazing. Michael, I tell people who knock wrestling and call it fake, ok, they write stories, yes they pretty much know when they will peak and on which show. Who wins, who loses. Okay, Look at these guys and girls who fly out of the ring, land on top of a chair, table or ladder. It hurts. They cannot fake going off the top rope and landing an elbow on someones chest. You are live, you get one take, no do overs. Last week there was a 25 minute segment in the ring where John Cena and Randy Orton talked, listing their history and pushing each others buttons. No cards, no teleprompter, just exchanging dialogue and setting up a future match. You talk to an actor who comes back to a soap opera or never has been on one and they cannot believe the pages they have to memorize and how quick everyone works. Same with these wrestlers, everything is fast, one take. Some of these wrestlers are so good they could walk right onto a soap soundstage and hang with others on the show. Some could probably outshine some current cast members. But I tell people, watch RAW with an open mind. Dont worry about who wins or loses. Watch for the dialog and the one-take athletic moves.
