In a very special episode of Hallmark Channel’s talk show  MARIE on Monday, April 1, Marie Osmond celebrates 40 years of The Young and the Restless with many key members of the cast who inhabit the town of Genoa City on the number one soap!

Marie is first joined by Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) and Peter Bergman (Jack).  Melody talks about her journey working on the set for 34 years and her character’s diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, while Peter discusses his path to joining Y&R.  That segment  is followed by the duo known to Y&R fans as “Phick” , Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) and Joshua Morrow (Nick).  The talented twosome talk about their start on the soap, and how their personal lives have changed dramatically since then.

Next, comes Lauralee Bell (Christine) and Doug Davidson (Paul).   Lauralee dishes about her return to the show and what it was like being the creators’ daughter while Doug reveals what it was like romancing the bosses’ daughter on screen! And last but not least, Jeanne Cooper (Katherine) and Jess Walton (Jill) discuss the classic rivalry between Katherine and Jill, and some of their favorite catights and more!

In addition, the cast answers fans most pressing questions about what goes on in front of the camera and behind the scenes.  Marie closes the episode with a tribute to William J. Bell!  So will you be checking out Marie to see the star of Y&R this Monday? Let us know!

Great hour long interview with the cast, great to see them all together, but Marie has got to be the lamest talk show host of all time. How annoying to be a guest and have to listen to her disingenuously fake her way through everything (reading note cards, a teleprompter, etc.) It would have been far more engaging if she honestly watched the show and was a fan.
