MORE All My Children and MORE One Life to Live debuted on Friday on Hulu, which gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the backstage production, in-depth interviews with the series stars and creative teams, and also added into the mix are some lifestyle segments.  In the case of MORE All My Children, it was a relationship expert telling us how to spice up our sex lives with our significant others!

Hosted by Leslie Miller, MORE All My Children’s focus for it’s premiere episode was an interview with Vincent Irizarry (David), Denyse Tontz  (Miranda) and AMC’s executive producer, Ginger Smith!  From discussing the current stories of David Hayward’s return to Pine Valley, the secret that Cara is holding about their baby, and what will happen between JR and David, Vincent teased the audience well, without divulging much of anything.

Denyse Tontz talked about Miranda being “friends with no benefits” with AJ Chandler played by Eric Nelsen, and playing the key role of Bianca Montgomery who is the next gen Kane woman!

Watch MORE All My Children after the jump and let us know what you thought of it?  Did you like the host, Leslie Miller? Did you enjoy the interview segments? Let us know!

Denyse couldn’t really explain the inappropriate relationship with AJ. Always fun listening to Vincent. I think I would rather have another episode. I doubt I will watch the recaps. Because the episodes are so short I will probably just watch them all together over the weekend. With the exception of Miranda, loving all the characters. It is not that I don’t like Denyse, I just don’t like the character. Also, there is too much cursing. Cursing is appropriate sometimes but too much gets to be distracting to the story. AMC has always been a classy soap….please don’t lose that. Love my AMC! Great job PP and Agnes Nixon.

All interesting however when I went to Hulu to get lost in my stories I was pretty disappointed that they opted for this discussion time. Hope this is not going to happen every Friday.

It is going to happen every Friday (for now). I wonder if they will change it later on when the shows start to do really well and they can afford to tape extra shows.

I have an idea… on Friday why not have it be a Michael Fairman Hangout with fans and cast taling about the shows and the week and the making of it?

How is the relationship between Miranda & A. J. Inappropriate? They were born on the same day, grew up together, and are close.

Looks like I will be skipping Fridays as I wont be watching the recap episode on Fridays.I wish they would put on a new episode on Friday instead of what they are doing.

read this wrong what did I think of the recap I liked it. I like seeing the actors. Makes me see the characters differently and not dislike them as much makes them more human. I am not a David fan, but I did watch GL when Lujack came on, played by VI.

I think the More recaps & interview shows of AMC & OLTL are interesting. I like to see behind the scenes of our favourite shows. I like the interactive aspect of it, too.

I think they should combine both more eps & turn it in to a soap talk show where the host goes behind the scenes of both shows & have 3 actors form each show come on & take about the shows & also have a spot in the show where they tell what else the actors are doing & the show will have fans from both show & there will be a Q&A sport & at the end gave a sneak peek of the next week shows .

I liked the recap show until they got to the lifestyle segment. I would much rather have longer interviews and Q&As with the cast and crew as well as a more in-depth recap. It would be nice to see how the actors feel about the situations their characters are in for that week.

I think the relationship advice is idiotic – sorry, that’s my opinion. If they want to interview the actors on Friday and ask them what they think of their characters that is fine, and some “behind the scenes” is all right, but aside from that I like the storylines and I don’t need to be inter-active. If they want to do a Friday re-cap that’s fine, I guess, but I don’t need relationship advice thrown at me and I don’t need to see where you can buy a bathing suit. I just want to see the show(s). I feel very strongly that every Friday of this kind of thing will get old really fast with the viewers.

‘The Masked Singer’ Runner-up, Ex- AMC’s Jesse McCartney, Recalls Working With David Canary

If you caught the finale of The Masked Singer this week, you know that “The Turtle” was revealed to be none other than former All My Children star and recording artist, Jesse McCartney.

While McCartney came in as the runner-up, losing out to Kandi Burress, he spoke to Digital Journal about his latest single, “Friends’ and recalled his time working with the one and only David Canary (Ex-Stuart/Adam) on the now defunct ABC daytime drama series.

As a young JR Chandler from 1998-2001, that put him sharing on-screen time with Canary, who played his father.  Jesse remembers all of the lines of dialogue thrown at him at a young age was not fun.

When speaking of his time with Canary, McCartney shared: “He was one of the sweetest guys on the planet and he was such a kind soul. He played my father, Adam Chandler, and not only was he the star of the show but he played his own twin brother, Stuart. He had double the lines of any character on the show, and in my three years on the show, he never messed up a line even once. There was a time when David helped me when I was having a moment and I struggled with remembering my lines, so as a result, the soap world for me is very sentimental.”
