Next week, beginning on the Monday, July 25th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, look for Daytime Emmy-winning favorite, Vincent Irizarry to reprise his role as Dr. Jordan Armstrong on the CBS daytime soap opera.

Vincent took to his Instagram to share the news, expressing: “Look who’s back! Dr. Jordan Armstrong makes a house call on @boldandbeautifulcbs next week! Tune in to @cbstv and check it out”

Irizarry played the role of Dr. Armstrong previously back in 2019, when he was the doctor that treated Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson)when he was hospitalized following his fall over the cliff.

Ugh. Once again, another soap actor snatched up by this soap to be WASTED! Bradley Bell needs to stop stunt-casting and writing crap, and re-focus the soap or give it up. And Vincent Irizzary needs to immediately move to General Hospital as David Hayward.

100% agree with all of this. B&B hires well known actors like Irizarry, Hilary B. Smith, A. Martinez, Ricky Paull Goldin and many others for these bit parts that any background actor could play, and then they vanish. What a waste.

And you’re right about GH, Vincent would fit in seamlessly and David’s history with Anna would make for excellent drama, especially now that she and Valentin have gotten closer. I would love to see Vincent and James Patrick Stuart go toe-to-toe with each other. Plus, the hospital could always use more doctors.

Ricky was totally wasted. Could have been a good story. I was disappointed that it went nowhere.

I have to say, B&B has been the show to watch! GH for me, has been too slow moving and has too many characters U don’t really care about. Y&R is really trying with the Victoria and Ashland storyline, but it seems like a rehash of the story with JT, a few years ago.

Maybe a new love interest for Taylor since Ridge has returned to Brooke for the umpteenth time. He’s probably going to be essential with the Li recovery process at Bill Spencer’s. But he will ALWAYS be Lujack to me.

Hopefully, this Dr. ARMSTRONG is the Dr. Bill will send for to treat Li and he will recognise her.

Not to change the subject but can anyone see him as a recast Dr Jeff Webber on GH. Is he too close in age to BH?

Vincent Irrizarry should be on-contract and given a meaty story. But, this is Bold & Beautiful. If your name isn’t Logan…you get no real love, or story.

Anne Heche ‘Not Expected to Survive’; Suffered Severe Brain Injury From Fiery Crash

In just heartbreaking news, Daytime Emmy-winner, Anne Heche (Ex-Vicky/Marley, Another World), is not expected to survive after days in the hospital following being severely burned in a fiery car crash when her vehicle struck a home in Mar Vista, California last Friday.

According to family and friends of the motion picture and television star in a statement, “Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive. It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she is being kept on life support to determine if any are viable.”  Deadline notes, the actress will be taken off life-support.

The statement went on to say, “We want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers for Anne’s recovery and thank the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital.  More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life’s work — especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love. She will be remembered for her courageous honesty and dearly missed for her light.”

There are plans for Heche to get an Honor Walk, which is a hero’s goodbye donor patients receive by hospital staff as they are wheeled into the operating room in their final journey.

Heche will be featured on Lifetime’s Girl in Room 13, set to premiere this fall in September. Lifetime’s Executive VP  and head of programming, Amy Winter, revealed earlier this week at the TCA press tour, “As many of you know, Anne remains in critical condition and all of us here at Lifetime are deeply concerned for her and everyone affected. This project is important to Anne, along with each and every one of us. We all sought to make a film that would bring attention to this appalling issue of human sex trafficking.”

In addition, TMZ had reported that following toxicology reports, Cocaine was found in Heche’s system following the crash. They also found fentanyl. However,  sources say fentanyl can often be used as a pain medication in hospitals, so there is no confirmation that it was in Anne’s system at the time of the crash.

Anne was an amazing actress with such a tortured life.  We send thoughts and prayers to all her loved ones during this difficult time.  Share your thoughts on the latest update on Anne in the comment section below.

Anne Heche in “Extremely Critical Condition”; Still in Coma Following Fiery Car Crash

Although earlier reports over the weekend had soap opera alum and Daytime Emmy-winner, Anne Heche (Ex-Vicky/Marley, Another World) in stable condition following crashing her car into a home, on Monday an update on her condition looked more grim.

According to a statement provided to Deadline by Heche’s rep: “At this time Anne is in extreme critical condition. She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.”

Since last Friday, Heche has been hospitalized following a harrowing incident where she crashed her car which caught fire into a private home in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles.

In addition, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Annie Hernandez told City News Service that investigators obtained a warrant for a blood draw from Heche.

Over the last few days, a new episode of Heche’s podcast “Better Together” with her co-host Heather Duffy was released, which showed the actress slurring her speech.

Erroneous reports said that the podcast which dropped on Friday, was also recorded that day, and that Heche had been drinking prior to her accident during the show.  However, it has come to light that Heche taped that episode last Tuesday, not the day of the crash.

Share your thoughts and prayers for Anne as we continue to monitor and update the situation on the film and TV star, via the comment section below.

‘That’s A Wrap’ For Dynasty’s Elizabeth Gillies & Adam Huber As They Share Farewells

The fifth and final season of CW’s Dynasty is currently playing out with the series finale to air in the early fall.

However, filming on the show wrapped this past week for series star Elizabeth Gillies (Fallon) and her on-screen husband, Adam Huber (Liam).  Each of them took to their Instagrams to share heartfelt goodbyes and ‘thank you’s’ for the journey they traveled as part of the reboot of the classic ABC primetime soap opera with its own twist.

Huber shared his thoughts, when he expressed: “That’s a wrap!! When I got the call in 2017 that I was going to be flying out to Atlanta to join the show DYNASTY for a few episodes I had no idea what it would turn into. 4 years of my life and 84 episodes later is what happened. I am beyond grateful for this show. This is the first time I’ve ever really been apart of something like this. I’ve learned a lot. I’ve cried a lot. And I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to anyone and everyone who was with me on this journey. Thank you to my friends and family for your non stop love and support. My manager and agents who are absolute rockstars. The crew that wakes up day after day working lonnnng hours so we can have a finished product. The writers, directors and producers for making this show the success that it is. The casting director for saying “I think I found our Liam” The entire cast for being so welcoming from the first day I stepped foot on set. The day players, extras, stand ins, all of you!!

And gigantic thank you to all the fans!!! Thank you for staying with us the whole time during this wild ride. Without you watching and binging on whatever platform you watch the show on, we would have not been able to bring you 5 seasons and 108 episodes of DYNASTY craziness. Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart. This has been an experience I will never forget! 🖤Ps…new episode tonight!! I hope you enjoy the rest of the season! It’s going to be a lot of fun!”

Gillies, simply brought out her inner-Fallon with her Instagram post which said, “Every day, I take one man’s dirt and turn it into diamonds. And digging up insider info is even easier when they assume you work for the airline, instead of owning the plane. Bon Voyage, Fallon 🥂”

Elizabeth’s co-stars were quick to heap praise on the talented actress/singer/director (she directed the two most recent episodes of the series). Rafael de La Fuente who plays Sammy Jo, expressed: ‘What a gift for me to get to work with you for five years. Forever a fan, forever family.”

Pop superstar, Arianna Grande, a longtime friend, and Broadway co-star with Gillies in the musical 13, posted: “Oh my.congratulations, my Liz, on completing this massive and magnificent chapter with Fallon.  she is / you are utterly spectacular. !!!!!!!!! love youuu. sm.”

You can check out their farewell posts below.

So, sad to know that Liz and Adam have wrapped their run as the fifth and final season of Dynasty is coming to a close? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
