OLTL Back In Production! Kassie DePaiva Tweets First Images With Erika Slezak & More!

Today is a historic day for soap operas and for the beloved and iconic series One Life to Live, which was taken from us way before its time when it aired its last episode on January 13, 2012, after ABC made the decision to cancel it while it was on a ratings and creative high.
Now today, production begins anew thanks to the efforts of Prospect Park and all those behind-the-scenes to bring Llanview back to life in their new Connecticut studios!
Kassie DePaiva (Blair) has been our “Johnny-on-the-spot” getting images of this exciting day and tweeting them out to all her followers and One Life fans. The one that struck us the most is pictured here – seeing six-time Daytime Emmy winner Erika Slezak (Viki) returning to the role she loves so much, along with DePaiva.
In addition, there are images of balloons, her on-screen son Andrew Trischitta (Jack) and the younger set: Robert Gorrie (Matthew), Laura Harrier (Destiny), Kelley Missal (Dani), Cordin Bleu (Jeffrey), plus one of new executive producer, Jennifer Pepperman!

I will be so happy when OLTL is back .
So happy that its back!! I also hope that our Canadian friends will get to watch it too. My cousin who lives in Canada told me that Canadians don’t have access to Hulu, and therefore won’t be able to see either OLTL, or AMC. In a way it won’t be a true celebration, until all fans on either side of the border get to see our beloved shows.

Im in the u.s. and for some unknown reason cant get hulu, and i even had a computer wiz try but i might get someone else…im not giving up yet.

I am totally excited that all is going back to normal….I have missed One Live to Live that I have watched with my mother when I was a kid…..I am so glad the family is back together.
who says that bringing AMC and OLTL will be an uphill battle? it will only be and uphill battle if the soap fans don’t watch online and I don’t think that’s going to happen! Every person I know that has watched in the past says that they will be watching. Have missed these shows and looking forward to their return… can’t wait for April 29th to get here!!

This is great news! I am SOOO looking forward to One Life to Live! Love this show. It comes across as being a real family. I can’t wait to see Bo, Vicki, Cassie and the rest of the cast. I am not sure what the casting departmnent was thinking with the new Destiny but I will give the new actress a fair chance. I hope Prospect Park and GH can work together. I think this would be in the best interest of all of the soaps.

51st Daytime Emmys: Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Receive Talk Show Host Nominations
On Thursday, nominations were announced in the Outstanding Talk Show category for the upcoming 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.Â
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) coming off his first-year as co-host of ‘Live” with real-life wife, Kelly Ripa scored his first Talk Show Host nomination along with Ripa who has been nominated previous times.
Joining Mark and Kelly in the race are: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, The View
Kelly Clarkson, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, Sheryl Underwood, The Talk and
Tamron Hall, Tamron Hall.

As previously reported, The Talk is coming to its end when its upcoming 15th and final season ends in December of 2024.
The 51st annual Daytime Emmys are slated to be broadcast and stream live on CBS and Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th

51st Daytime Emmys: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Nominations
On Thursday, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards revealed nominations in several key categories via four entertainment news programs: Access Hollywood, E! News, Extra and Access Hollywood.
Three of the four announcements were major categories in the field of Daytime Dramas.
The nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category are: The Bay, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Neighbours and The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital won this category last year, and has the most all-time wins for a series in this category. For the first time, the beloved Australian-based soap opera, Neighbours is now eligible for competition due to its reboot which streams on Amazon Freevee.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out in ceremonies in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th.
Previous categories announced tonight via the entertainment news outlet included: Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.
