THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Don Diamont & Scott Clifton Shine In Father/Son Scenes; As Bill Watches Liam’s Meltdown Over the Accident that Killed Vinny

On Thursday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, emotional two-person scenes were the order of the day featuring three-time Daytime Emmy winner, Scott Clifton (who may nab a nominations next year for this story) and longtime soap vet, Don Diamont.

In story, Dollar Bill has done everything to protect his son by covering up all the evidence in his attempt to save Liam from surely a murder sentence and going to prison.

Bill’s theory: if anyone were to find out that Liam was driving Bill’s car when suddenly out of nowhere came Vinny (Joe LoCicero) – who Liam hates – and he hit him with the car and fatally killed the guy, they would think he had intent and motive. (However, to us there has to be more to the story! Did Vinny just randomly happen to be on the road that Liam and Bill were driving on and walking across it?)

At Bill’s place, Liam is agonizing as he keeps flashing back to the accident.  When Bill comes in from a morning jog, Liam is astonished that his father was out jogging, when they are in deep hot water for covering up their now hit and run.  Bill gets angry and tells him he actually went to see if there are were any cameras near the accident and he is happy to report there were none, so Liam is in the clear.  Therefore, Liam needs to keep his mouth shut and let this go and move on with his life and reuniting with Hope (Annika Noelle).

Not able to live with the cover-up, the lies, and what he did, Liam is insisting he has to go to the police, but Bill shouts: “You are not going to the police!” Liam goes on to his own subplot theory that they can say he hit an animal and then turn themselves in. Bill keeps firing back at his son, that he cannot do anything of the sort. He has done everything to protect his son in this mess and Liam could screw that all up with one wrong move.  Bill says, “All you have to do is…” and Liam fires back, “Pretend it never happened.”

It is then that Bill tells Liam that killing Vinny will haunt him whether he’s behind bars or a free man, and that he should opt for the latter.  Now unraveling, Liam’s convinced the police will figure out their cover-up. Just then, Bill pulls out a news report on his phone about the hit-and-run that has no leads and no ID of the body.  He assures his son there will never be any leads because he took care of everything.

Just then, Hope texts Liam wondering where he is for their lunch date.  Bill tells Liam to text her back saying something came up, he is in no condition to see anyone till he pulls himself together.  Liam texts back that he can’t make it.  When Hope texts back in response, “I hope you’re okay,” that sets up the end of the episode where Liam begins to hyperventilate and cannot catch his breathe, and is frightened and grief-stricken, and horrified at what he has done.  Bill comes to his aid and tells him he will not let anything happen to his son, and to dig deep to put this accident behind him.  Bill expresses that if Liam can’t do it himself, to lean on him.

However, Vinny was just ID’d in the hospital morgue by Finn (Tanner Novlan), so there’s that!

Kudos to both Scott Clifton and Don Diamont for the riveting scenes between father and son within the episode.

So, what did you think of Scott and Don’s performance? How will Bill and Liam be able to continue to cover-up the hit and run of Vinny? Share your thoughts in the comment section. But first, watch the final moments from the episode below.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Bill and Liam’s Car Ride Has Life-Altering Consequences

On Monday’s The Bold and the Beautiful, fans were shocked by the final moments of the episode leaving viewers, who knew that this week the show was promoting a murder mystery, just what will go down from here?

After Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) looked to be having a moment where they were finally finding their way back to one another, while Bill (Don Diamont) was talking about their children to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), and having some tequila at the same time, that set up the kick-off to a new story arc.

Things will look pretty bad for Liam after he told Hope his feelings for Vinny, who is out on bail.  As viewers know, Vinny switched the DNA results to make it look as if Liam was originally the father to Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby, not Finn (Tanner Novlan).

Liam shares his feelings to Hope on the guy, stating: “I think I hate him. He treated our lives like a game.” He then advises Hope to keep her guard up in case he comes around looking for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). Hope says he doubts Vinny will approach anyone.

When Bill and Brooke come to the cabin and Bill says some kind words to Hope about how much his son loves her, he exits with Liam.  Outside Bill tells Liam to drive his car home because he has been drinking.  Liam has never gotten to drive Bill’s car.  Once on the road, Liam is all smiles, as he says to his dad that things are finally looking up for him and Hope, and then suddenly Liam hits the brakes!

Liam is shaken as he knows he hit something and is visibly shaken. He utters, “Dad!” As the duo run out of the car they see a male body laying in the road… it’s Vinny (Joe LoCicero)! And the episode comes to a conclusion.

So, what do you think happens next? Vinny dies and there is a cover-up? Is there still a mystery? Will we go back in time and find out how Vinny was in the middle of the road anyway? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Cameron Gets a Gravesite Visit From Zander; A Very Preggers Brook Lynn Returns

Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital revealed the return of Chad Brannon as Cameron Webber’s deceased father, Zander Smith, as well as the return of Amanda Setton in the role of Brook Lynn.

In story, an emotional Cameron (William Lipton) is overcome by all the loss in his life as he visits the gravesite of his biological father, Zander Smith, on the heels of losing his stepfather, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).  As Cameron looks at his father’s grave he goes on to say that he finally had a complete family unit for it to be taken away like everything else and everyone else he has cared about in his life including his friends, Dev and Oscar.

Cameron begins to lament what would life would be like for him, if Zander would have stuck around, instead of getting himself shot at such a young age.

Then, Zander appears to Cameron stating, “I get it, it’s all my fault.”  Cameron goes on to tear into Zander about the way his life ended, while Zander thinks he can still teach his son a thing or two, but Cam says he had the chance to be his dad and really blew it.  No matter what, Zander explains, “I will always be your dad.”  Zander understands that Cameron is angry and feeling all hope is lost, but tries to rally his son to not give in to that way of thinking, because he has so much potential.

Zander truly does not want to see his son give in to the same impulses that he did when he was young and that he wants Cameron to make the right decisions while at this crossroads in his young life.  As Joss (Eden McCoy) and Trina  (Sydney Mikala) show up at the cemetery, the ghost of Zander disappears.  Joss wants Cameron to stop the pity party as they all have been there, and all have lost people they love, but shares that they will get through it together. Cameron looks back and sees his father as he says he is loser just like his dad.  But, Trina and Joss tell Cam they don’t hang out with losers as Zander looks on.

Elsewhere, Brook Lynn, who is hiding outside the Q mansion, comes inside once alone with Michael (Chad Duell) and reveals she is pregnant.  Michael figures out the baby daddy is Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), but Brook Lynn is not sure if she will even tell Valentin.  Michael warns her that she will be playing with fire with Valentin if she is not truthful.

Finally, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has realized she is in a bad, bad way with all the creepy vibes she is now getting from Peter (Wes Ramsey).  She knows she has to protect her unborn child any way she can.

So, what did you think of the scenes between William Lipton and Chad Brannon? Are you happy to see Amanda Setton back as Brook Lynn? How will Maxie get away once and for all from Peter?  Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
