After all the turmoil of the previous ‘Bachelor’ seasons, it looks like the ABC reality-dating competition may have found their man.

Multiple sources are reporting that Clayton Echard, who no one has seen yet, and who appears as a suitor in Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette, has actually been given the nod to be the lead in the new upcoming 26th season of the series.

On Wednesday, leaked photos appeared online of Echard with a camera crew by E! News  questioning if he would be the new “Bachelor.”

Variety is saying that their sources are saying Echard is ABC’s choice for the lead, but that no official announcement will be forthcoming especially since Young’s season of The Bachelorette which bows October 19th had not even begun.

What we can glean on Echard from his Instagram page is that he is 28-years-old and from Missouri and played college football at U of Missouri and was signed as pro to play with tight end with the Seattle Seahawks, but he is now an orthopaedic saleman.

Original Y&R cast member, Janice Lynde, is now set for a return visit to the top-rated CBS daytime drama, when she reprises her role as world renowned pianist, Leslie Brooks.

Viewers of The Young and the Restless last saw Lynde when she appeared on the series back in 2018 along with her on-screen sister, Lorie Brooks played by Jamie Lyn Bauer for the show’s 45th anniversary.

While not a lot has been divulged as to what brings Leslie back into the storyline, we hear she will be in scenes with other prominent long-running characters.  Look for Lynde to appear in multiple episodes come mid-October.

Janice began on Y&R back in 1973 and stayed on through 1977.  Later she appeared on Another World and One Life to Live throughout her daytime career.

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt) and his wife, Kelly Kruger (Eva, B&B and Mac, Y&R) had a little gender reveal party over the weekend and took to Kruger’s Instagram to share some news with all of their fans, friends, and colleagues.

The couple who are already proud parents to their almost two-year-old daughter Everleigh, asked their little one, does she wants baby brother or baby sister, now that Kelly is expecting baby number two! Darin and Kelly revealed that news back in August.

Now, sitting with Everleigh in a black and white post, Kelly asked her daughter, “Everleigh… what’s in mama’s tummy? A baby brother or a baby sister?”

Next thing you know, the video goes to pink everywhere complete with confetti! Yup, Everleigh is going to have a baby sister!

The beautiful song by Colbie Calliat called “Capri” played as the backdrop to the disclosure.
