On GH: Todd & Heather Switch Sam and Tea's Babies! Now What? – Watch the Video!

If you watched Monday’s episode of General Hospital you witnessed the set of circumstances that landed Sam (Kelly Monaco) passed out in the same place as Todd (Roger Howarth) brought Tea’s (Florencia Lozano) dead baby in the pouring rainstorm.  Tea then showed up at the same location and found Todd there with a crying and alive baby in his arms, which was Sam’s baby, whom she left outside, while she went to get some help before she passed out.

With Tea excited and wanting to hold her baby in her arms, Todd hands over to her Sam’s baby.  When Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) arrives back on the scene, she comes up with the bright idea to switch the babies, and give Tea’s dead little boy to Sam, because  in Heather’s warped mind,  Sam didn’t want Franco’s (James Franco) baby anyway, plus she was having troubles in her relationship with Jason (Steve Burton).    Follow?

So soapers, what do you think of this set of implausible but dramatic turn events that led to the babies being switched?  How do you think this story will play out before Sam and Tea learn the  truth! What do you think of Jason’s tactic in all of this, roughing up McBain (Michael Easton), who tried to help Sam?  Weigh-in and watch this week’s General Hospital promo about the baby-switch after the jump!

Thanks to Carly, Jason TRIED to call it off, but it was too late.

Jason referred to the baby as “his son” yesterday. He has embraced the baby without even seeing him. Once they learn it truly is HIS son will probably be a long time. Sam even hinted at this by saying how much the baby looked like his “Uncle Jason.”

What I do not understand, and I hear that Tea’s baby is actually ALIVE, is how can that be? And who has Robin and Hope and all these other allegedly dead people? Maybe this is the AMC part coming into play? Maybe Heather has more to it than appears as it it really starting to look like she was Franco’s mother.

I did hear that they are recreating some Llanview sets for GH. All these hybrid possibilities.

It is more important than ever that we watch this show and do NOT watch The Chew or that stupid Good Afternoon whatever show, not to mention Katie Couric’s show. Let them all go black in our homes until GH comes on!!!

Right on, Christine! A little AMC incorporation would be most welcome! I believe someone mentioned David Hayward? Good point about Heather and a possible relationship with Franco…she had a very strong reaction when Dante’s mom spoke negatively of Franco the other day, like she was going to rip her head off, very protective of Franco’s reputation, like a mom would be?

I am actually looking forward to tuning into GH every day with the influx of Llanview characters and the spotlight finally shining on others but the mob boys. If these good storylines continue, I might become a loyal GH fan again. I’ll admit, it’s been years since I have been one.

And how about rallying for the Buchanans and Viki to ride into Port Charles? They could inspire some good storylines competing with the Quartermain gang!

David hayward would be very welcome In Port Charles and I would love for the Buchanans and Vicki to show up, There would be a lot of good stories to tell, Vicki can move next door to the quartermaines.

I thought it was great !!! What a perfect way to “marry” GH and OLTL, by a baby switch !
I hope the little baby boy doesn’t find out the truth for many years to come. ( Hint – that GH will be around for many years )

If we are down to a lone ABC soap, I am happy the OLTL lives on thru GH. I just hope and pray that ABC realizes what a great show they now have in the new GH and do not cancel it. If they do, I promise ABC that I will be 100% done with anything your network airs.

      June 5, 2012 at 12:00 pm

Well said Brian, I just want to see that tea’s baby is alive, crazy Heather did something, And knows something, But rumors are, that tea’s baby is very much alive and so is Hope, I would love to see Dr. David Hayward, that’s my all my children wish. And I agree with what you said about abc even though I am done with their network all I watch is General hospital and they have to be insane to get rid of it.

        June 6, 2012 at 10:25 pm

anonamouse – it’s a soap that I and many others have watched from the beginning, right along with OLTL, or other soaps, and this is good old soap writing. A baby switch plot is nothing new, not even to General Hospital, but they haven’t done it for a while. GH hasn’t really had “original” writing, I think, since they did Casey the alien living in the garage story with Robin when she was little. Now that was original. I don’t think I’ve ever had another like that in all the soaps I’ve watched. Vampires, witches, werewolves were normal on Dark Shadow, but I don’t remember any aliens. Baby switches, and murder, mobs, crime, over the top passion, villains you love to hate, rapes, secrets, lies – most of soap writing isn’t exactly like real life, but then that’s the fun of it. If you want real life, watch news. I watch soaps cuz they’re fun, even if they repeat a plot. They get us all happy, sad, anxious, excited and riled up… they give us plenty to whine about here, that’s for sure.

But as I’ve said elsewhere, the actors/characters on General Hospital are now General Hospital actors & characters. Many of the GH actors have been on other soaps, and sometimes they’ve portrayed the same characters they do now. But now they’re all OUR General Hospital stars and characters. There’s no more OLTL, unfortunately, and those of us that loved that show and many more of us that loved BOTH shows, are very pleased to be able to have a permanent cross over, for as long as we can — and still so very pleased that General Hospital is still on the air, getting us all riled up!

If all soaps put all the bad guys in jail, and all the couples together, or divorced, and all the crazy people back in their padded cells, put all the correct babies in their correct cribs, if no one lied or kept secrets, if everyone was nice to each other, if the police station was quiet and empty, and the hospital was empty, if the Cassadines decided to be upstanding citizens, if all was just fine and right in Port Charles, it wouldn’t be like real life, but most importantly, it would not be a soap opera. All these things, crazy or not, are what soap operas survive on. The juicier the storyline, the better. The more surprises, cliff hangers, twists and turns, the better. The more people misbehave, the better.

it’s not real life, it’s better! It’s a soap opera!

        June 7, 2012 at 8:07 pm

Baby switches, while played out, ok… baby killing (most recent Jake, Hope & now Tea’s) not ok. Even if the baby turns out to be alive. Too much… as a mother.. just too disturbing. Btw, I can see that on the news.

Haven’t watched at all this week, and stopped watching after Tuesday of last week. I never go this long without my soap operas….but I find myself completely disgusted with the writing on the four remaining soaps and the directions that they have taken. So, unless OLTL comes back to television, I’m done. Never thought I would be, but I am so over it.

    • barbara t

      June 6, 2012 at 3:55 pm

Not me, I could never give up on my soaps I will support them till they are gone, I like them to much and will be very disappointed when I can’t watch them anymore. I will continue to scream at the tv stories can’t go my way all the time if they did it would become boring.

Not Impressed at all classic OLTL writing, believe it or not, there was a reason that show was cancelled and its coming to light why through GH

    • Susan M.

      June 5, 2012 at 4:14 pm

I think the OLTL classic writing is bringing GH out of the dumper…I find the stories more interesting now then before the writers of OLTl came on board…Wasn’t interested in GH before because they were heavy into the mob/gangster stories…I like the direction GH is going in now.. And it shows..The ratings are good….Gh is in third place as of this month……..I am impressed……………………………….

      • barbara t

        June 6, 2012 at 5:55 am

Before when general hospital was on I would fall asleep, not any more, Lets get those ratings up more.

    • barbara t

      June 6, 2012 at 6:37 am

The truth is all 3 abc soaps were going to be cancelled, general hospital to be the last soap to go, the soap fans let abc have it something abc wasn’t expecting, Lets just say the backlash caused abc to con the soap fans with pp and going on line with the soaps, then that fell through, because of all the one life to live fans boycotting the revolution that took the one life to live hour general hospital was saved for 1 more year. You are right it is most definitely classic soap opera writing and it’s bringing general hospital back to good story telling, with drama, comedy, and hopefully bring back the family which has been neglected for so long because of the boring mob taking over Port charles.

truth is the point of soaps is to complain and create conversations and get entangked in emotions and just get away it is nice to freak about a show instead of the real life stuff

Well it promises drama and months of secrets, but a baby switch story in not my favorite move here. Thankfully, we have a colorful cast of characters engaged to leads through this old reliable chestnut of a plot. But please Cartini, give us more romance and joy and “love in the afternoon.” And remember the HOSPITAL in GENERAL HOSPITAL, a center for drama, life and death, but also for hope and recovery of body and spirit. This serial is vastly improved but I would like to see less mob and more uplifting moments.

This storyline is horrible. My heart breaks for Tea.Her baby needs to turn up alive! Why all the baby-killing???

    • Susan M.

      June 5, 2012 at 4:21 pm

I don’t think so………….Sam will find out soon enough..When she saw the dead baby, she said: THAT ISN”T MY BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will get a blood test (DNA) and things will pan out …

        June 5, 2012 at 8:25 pm

oh no… i’m scared now! i’m usually about 4-5 days behind… i dvr…. the only way they should do these baby switch is by keeping both babies alive… my heart breaks as well… for both women… but, it’s a classic story… done with good keeps our attention actors.

      • Susan M.

        June 6, 2012 at 5:12 am

Can’t keep both babies alive because Tea’s baby was born dead(still born) .. It didn’t cry or anything when it was born..Dnd not breathing…………..They couldn’t revive tea’s baby….Sam’s baby is alive only….

    • Susan M.

      June 6, 2012 at 3:01 pm

Sam looked at her dead baby and said this isn’t my baby…And she is right..The coming atractions for THURS. Todd say’s to Tea your baby is dead…I don’;t think this story will drag out too long…I feel sorry for Sam & Tea………….Tea will never forgive Todd for lying to her again.. This time about the baby being dead………

I’m going on record and saying – I HATE THIS BABY SWITCH STORY LINE !!
It’s been done to death !!
It’s insulting to give Tea this beautiful legacy from a husband she believes to be dead and then kill off her baby….BAD MOVE RC – a pox on you !!
The only thing that will salvage this tragedy is for Tea’s baby to be alive.

As for Jason , I think he has been a jerk.
Monica is not his natural mother but she grew to love as her own very quickly.

Fix this story – toot sweet !!

Frank and Ron have breathed new life into General Hospital. I may not like every single storyline, but one I might not like, someone else loves. GH fans need to get over themselves.

    • Emily

      June 5, 2012 at 3:53 pm

Very well said Cindy!!! All the GH fans and the OLTL fans have to unite if we intend to save our last ABC soap.

That’s true everyone should come together. And I am getting tired of having to defend my characters from one life to live, They are now officially general hospital characters and they blend in beautifully.

  14. Jane

    June 5, 2012 at 12:33 pm

This storyline is utterly ridiculous! The writers should be ashamed of themselves. Sam walking around in the woods after just having a baby? Absurd! Why not go to the front desk? And then Heather, Todd, Tea and Sam ending up in the same place? Come on guys, get a grip. I am bearing with the influx of OLTL characters, but not with this horrendous writing. Please correct this horrific storyline now before you lose all your faithful fans.

    • Susan M.

      June 5, 2012 at 4:26 pm

They are made up stories not reality…I like the writing on GH now then before..I see nothing wrong with the storyline….I like OLTL on GH…I would like it better if OLTL would come back.. But that will never happen unfotunately..

    • Jennie

      June 5, 2012 at 6:47 pm

      Jane, I completely agree!!!

A “made up” story doesn’t have to mean completely implausible & absurd. The only thing worse than all of the mob story lines are the dead baby ones.

Horrible story line… it’s ridiculous and in bad taste to keep killing off children and babies. It is even in worst taste to have Todd running around outside in the rain with a dead baby. Also, it is an insult to our intelligence to have Sam wondering around outside in the rain minutes after giving birth looking for help. She was in a HOTEL.. was there no one else around to find for help??

this is a tough one…. the Smoldering Tea. alliance mode here. She layers, nuances, her act. it’s underlying conniving … LOL.. or just too hot to get ; she’s gentle… sweet… understands the break in conversation… she’s all senses aware… A calm inner mystifying Senses. Stimulates.

You could see Todd… in love with this woman. Passionate Heat. Soap digest and/or carolyn hennesy… recognized the sparks w/Tea/Carly/Johnny/ &todd. Ummhh… hello. breaks from the MOB… distractions..

Back to intrigue… IMO Sam’s “shell-shocked” pregnancy… wasn’t supposed to be happening {she’s having a baby}… time has flown by. She acknowledges this baby… believeable performance and acting. on Sam’s lead… it’s like feeling Jason’s aura;energy prompting her wait.

To believe he readily admitted it’s not his to “port charles”… and Sam, like Tea… “holding” what’s being…

Todd and John… Dag! how’s that for OLTL fans… This is going to work… cause its soap 101… good actors… who from the start… got attention. i’m not 100% torn about John McBain.

I’m waiting for Sams…. behind her eyes… release. Tea’s past “alive”.
it’s good story that could last years… memorable performances

It’s a classic soap opera, Good drama. I hope that Jason sees where he was wrong in all of his actions, But I think it’s to late, and him sending those goons to hurt John made everything even worse, Wait till Sam finds out about that on top of everything else.Agree with everything you wrote. June 5, 2012 at 12:57 pm

well, it will work out in the end… we’ll just have to watch and wait! 🙂 I think Todd should tell Starr right away, like maybe she figures out something is going on when she goes to visit Tea in the hospital or such.

funny, that Todd said he could never do that to someone (make them think their baby is dead…) I was waiting for him to say ‘not again anyways.’ As he did this years ago with his own son with Blair, thinking it was not his baby and then finding out it was, he tracked the kid down and offered it up as a ‘we should adopt this kid’ Of course, in the end, Blair found out everything…. as will Tea!

but pairing Todd with Heather – that’s fun! Heather has always been like this, Todd used to be… will be interesting to see if he can handle this or

OR maybe Todd will feel so guilty, he tells Blair to get to Port Chuck and spills the beans to her (she is coming for a visit soon!) Maybe Blair will tell Tea.

and in the meantime, poor Sam will be looking like she’s as crazy as Heather thinking that her baby was a live and hmmm, this dead baby doesn’t look like my baby…. it’s good ‘ole soap writiing! ha!

      • Patrick

        June 5, 2012 at 11:25 pm

LOL… that’s so funny. “Sam looking as crazy as Heather.” for all that Sam’s “lived” thru. she deserves to go spastic… “Carrie” mode… ala sissy spacek… wreak havoc for suppressing her emotions for 9 months.

Well once again after watching for 3 days we have made this all about Jason! None of this would have went down if Jason was not the self-righteous creep/murderer/goon he leaves a pregnant wife in a seedy motel all this time then decides to rough McBain up and oh by the way I can love this baby. They did the same thing with Little Jake Jason hadn’t given the baby the time of day he was too busy being a mobster when the baby died it was his pain, I love the actor but the character well just sick. Sam when you get your baby back send this goon down the road.

Florencia is not on contract with GH. She should be. I hate this storyline. I am die hard OLTL fan, and love seeing Tea, however one thing I have been counting on was Tea getting to have her baby. So I hate that story, and baby switch. If Tea is given Victor back maybe that would help. We One Lifers want that conclusion. Us soapers are so used to baby switches, but Tea deserved her baby. I am upset with Ron for this writing. Give us back Victor. Trevor is willing, bring him back to Tea to pick up these peices. She needs him, and it’s the only way this story can make sense to me.

    • Christine

      June 5, 2012 at 3:04 pm

I think you will get Victor back at some point, Bruce. I think when they kept showing Tea looking at the picture of herself and Victor on her phone it was leaving the possibility open. I think it is to help GH fans know who the OLTL characters are. Just like with John and Natalie’s picture. I heard Natalie will be in “Llanview” and John goes to see her. Llanview being a new set on GH, that is.

Bruce, I felt so bad about your post and how you feel, I feel bad to that tea lost her baby, anyway go to soaptown usa (looselips) scroll down to general hospital and read what’s going on, Tea’s baby may not be as dead as we are to believe he is. Pay close attention to heather, there are things going on in port charles that will change everything, when you read whats going on at soaptown you will see what I am talking about. Yeah, We may be going to landview for while that’s good news.

I went to soaptownusa[dot]com and I can barely imagine how all of the recent dead aren’t really dead. I couldn’t believe the first thing Ron did was kill off Cole and Hope, and now he’s magically going to bring back the dead? I suppose on soaps anything is possible. I hope this doesn’t turn out to be a dream because that’s the lamest storyline of all time. I will believe Llandview sets when I see them. I can’t believe ABC giving GH money for that, but they could take it out of Katie’s $20 million salary and she wouldn’t notice.

you know Bruce, if Tea gets out of Port Chuck with the (live) baby… she’ll have to come back to Port Chuck or the baby will… or maybe she’ll show up in the new Llanview sets I’ve read about they’re making for GH.

General Hospital use to be so surprising. Another baby switch?!! Really?!! Seems Like they’re taking a step back to the 60s and 70s when such a thing was believeable. I admired the writing in the past where the reveal of dastardly deeds use to be a mistery for viewer to ponder. Now it’s just plain predictable. You could definitely see the point where the writing changed to something that has become known in the soap world as ” Cancellation Mode”. What a disappointment that GH is going out this way.

I can’t remember general hospital ever having a baby switch either, and I have been watching gh since the beginning. I could have forgot but I don’t think so.

      • Christy

        June 6, 2012 at 9:37 pm

well, there have been baby switches at GH, but it’s been awhile – but Barbara T maybe this will jog your memory!

60’s – Audrey hid her baby (Tommy) at her house and told everyone the baby had died – in order to keep her husband from invalidating their divorce.

Then there was Lesley’s baby – she was told her baby had died in childbirth. Years later, Nurse Roach confessed on her deathbed that she had plotted with Lesley’s father to switch Lesley’s illegitimate baby with a dead baby (sound familiar?). The live baby was given to the Vinings for adoption … that baby was, of course, Laura.

Then there’s Heather herself… in the 70s she was desperate to get Jeff Weber. She gets pregnant, but he refused to leave his wife. So then Heather tried to sell her son, Steven Lars, to Peter & Diana Taylor. That didn’t work, so she left for New York and told Jeff that the baby had died, which of course it hadn’t, and the baby was sold and anonymously adopted by the Taylors. Once she found out where the baby was (after she married Jeff), that is when she tried to lace Diana’s drink with LSD and accidentally drank it herself. That’s where they say she went insane, but honestly, she was nuts already!

In the 80’s, Tiffanny’s sister Cheryl gave birth to a healthy baby boy, but was told that he died. Bobbie desperately wanted a baby and purchased one from the black market. Unbeknownst to her the baby was Cheryl Stansbury’s baby. Bobbie tried to keep the truth a secret (after she found who’s baby it was), but the truth came out — Tony left her and she had to give the baby back to Cheryl.

Not exactly a baby, but when Carly came to town, she was of course the baby that Bobby gave up for adoption when she was 16. Carly lies about who she really is, and Luke tells Bobby that her daughter Caroline is dead, because he’s just found out that Tony is having an affair with “Carly” and Luke knows that Carly is really Caroline. Well, you know how well that went down.

And of course, there are all the times women lie about who the real father is – even Jason pretended to be Michael’s father for a while.

      • Christy

        June 6, 2012 at 9:39 pm

oh, and of course there is the more recent news that Heather took one of her cousins twin boys and sold him off – Franco.

      • MK

        June 14, 2012 at 2:53 pm

all of these are not baby switch stories (except Lesley’s which was her back story and it all happened off screen). The rest only featured one baby. You need 2 babies to switch.

Telling everyone that the baby died (Audrey and Heather), or giving the baby up for adoption (Cheryl and Bobbie) or selling the Baby (Heather) or claiming Paternity (Jason) is not the same as a classic baby switch that has been done on AMC, OLTL, Days, etc.

    June 5, 2012 at 1:51 pm

No, no, not another baby switch storyline. Must we travel this tired old road? Imagination, creativity–where are they? Hoped for more from the new team. We want more romance and joy, not yet another dead baby. A good soap has a balance of dark and light. Too much darkness here.

It’s over the top and to campy, it’s a little hard getting use to these new plots which makes everyone come across as stupid. There’s a reason oltl was never an Emmy darling, RC AND FV seems to be more interested in putting every soap cliche into and hour of air time, it’s like they’re writting for high school kids.
My grade for their stuff is B- I do like them better then the old team but if they don’t start writting smarter I’m going to have to start praying for new saviors to save GH .

    • David Larsson

      June 5, 2012 at 3:59 pm

As a former OLTL fan, the odds of them writing it smarter are incredibly, incredibly low.

You are not missing anything in prime time. Most of it is garbage (except for PBS). Regarding response to other post, people cling to whatever they want to believe; women are no exception. Naturally, Sam doesn’t want to give up on Jason because of their history. Wait till she finds out he was responsible for stopping McBain from helping her.

Too bad you missed out on OLTL. Tea and Todd/Victor (Trevor St John) were hot. You can see edited (sanitized) clips on YouTube: “OLTL ~ Todd & Tea ~ Love Slave ~ 4/16/09” and “OLTL-Todd & Tea 3/07/11”–or if you prefer music video form–“One Life to Live-Todd and Tea-Teenage Dream” and “TnT Halo”.

As for Sam and Patrick connecting, you have imagination. That never occurred to me and it might be an interesting surprise. A ready-made family for Sam without the baggage of a partner who is a jealous, insensitive hit man.

I want Sam to have her baby back right now, she already been through to much and Jason to be the baby real father!!! I’m so angry over this latest twist & turn, I love the GH/OLTL, I love seeing them together but please give Sam her baby back ASAP, ASAP, ASAP, ASAP!!! She saw the baby and one look at the baby TEA holding and she’ll realize the truth!!! My heart is with Sam!!!

Laura Wright you’re OUT! The baby story was done on guess where??? OLTL!

    • Christy

      June 6, 2012 at 9:47 pm

oh a ‘baby switch’ is just a regular soap writing plot – not just OLTL. GH has had a few “dead” baby switcharoos themselves. I’m sure all soaps have had a switch or two. I’m sure it started from an idea of baby getting switched in real hospitals – accidentally or on purpose, like back before they put barcodes on babies! 😉

Soaps just take it up a notch.

everything will work out – it just gets people riled up in the meantime, which i suppose it’s meant to. 🙂

Christy, You have to refresh my memory, When was there a baby switch before on general hospital? I’ve never missed a episode and I forgot about any switch. I know that Heather brings it up but that was so she could explain franco and Jason being twins and how they were separated.

  30. JMCW

    June 5, 2012 at 6:58 pm

I hope the “baby switch” storyline doesn’t last long. Of all the people to bring to “General Hospital” these are the worst. I didn’t like Todd, John McBain, Star or Tea in “OLTL.” GH didn’t need these people to keep it interesting. In the process of fusing the two shows, Sam has become ridiculous. She’s a PI, but with McBain she’s weak and insipid. I hope Jason or Sam find out what happened to their baby quickly and that Heather gets the punishment she deserves.

    • david

      June 5, 2012 at 10:42 pm

Maybe GH didn’t need these characters, but it needed new viewers and storylines, and OLTL was the easiest source. I don’t blame the writers for Sam for being ridiculous, I blame how unsupportive Jason has been during the pregnancy. Besides, she’s weak and insipid with Jason too. The character has been poor conceived for some time. Perhaps Sam seeking the truth about her baby–when no one will believe her including Jason–will lead to the character being transformed into a stronger woman independent of the men around her.

      • barbara t

        June 6, 2012 at 5:52 am

I’m with you on this one david, And Jason is the reason that Sam is all messed up if I was her I would give up on Jason for now. Wait till she finds out that Jason hired those goons to beat the crap out of John. I hope that comes back to bit Mr. Jason morgan in the ass. Every sunday soaptown has more news but wasn’t it interesting how victors baby and hope are still alive? Heather is involved somehow, last week soaptown said to keep a close watch on her shes involved in more than just a baby switch, I wonder who she is working with, I think this is turning out to be a very interesting story.

      • Patrick

        June 6, 2012 at 10:45 pm

I have to remind myself… that Sam… has already lost a baby before…. she’s in that shell-shocked mode… because of the rape… and thought she could never have another baby…. and she is a newlywed… and is clinging to what every woman “does”??? I’D LOSE MY MIND. it was agonizing… watching Sam go thru the motions… biding her time.. waiting.. for Jason to come around…. so, i could see how it could be perceived that she’s not a strong woman. Port charles… along with the birth of Sam and Tea’s babies.. found out that Jason wasn’t the father… and are also just learning of the rape.

Tea… is a natural…. i watched in “horror”… as she “clung” to Todd in the backseat… “save my baby!”. “you killed Victor… the father…. You owe me”.

This can’t be easy to bear witness to… but, it’s captivating stuff. I’m rooting for both Sam and Tea… meaning… they better both get their baby back.

I never watched OLTL… so, watching Todd and Tea for the first time… and i’m hooked with their acting. OK… i watched Todd on ATWT. Todd is a strong person/personality… A force. he’s already… IMO a GH’er. He’s taken over the Men folk.

two things: i wish they hadn’t of taken so much time… from the time Tea born her child to Todd taking and running in to Heather. they both clearly made it seem like her son had died. giving us hope for Tea? Tea’s past “alive”. Her husbands memory.

as for Sam… she was woozy… passed out at the cabin… and woke to her nightmare…. “it’s not mine” was well done tho. her walking in the “woods”… like lil red riding hood… the bad wolf(s). Todd/Heather.

Watching how Jason is with Sam.. should be telling. how genuine and true to his word…that his commitment to Sam is.

      • Patrick

        June 6, 2012 at 11:00 pm

one more thing to say… if the fall out… is story line dictated… i posted this before… SAM and Patrick!?!? Two lovers… grown adults (husband and wife – Taken/ripped apart) too soon… not their own doing… Hurting… gravitate and find their way to each other… i think these two have chemistry. It’s about love, family… being in love… married… with kids. A mutual attraction… simmering… smoldering… honest being together.

    • 1loveabcsoaps

      June 6, 2012 at 5:29 am

I agree. They chose the worst characters from OLife. I didn’t like Todd at all. McBain is dry, other than police stuff he is all boring, AND he’s half dead doing that too. Star, my God. How many Star types can you find on a soap? Nothing unique about her. Blair. She doesn’t fit into GH with her southern slang, when GH is Port Charles NY. Blair was a perfect fit for the Cowboys and girls of OLTL. The only one I like is Tea. Now if they were continuing the story of the two Todd”s at GH, then her role would be multiplied and further appreciated. Thus, Roger H (Todd) would be more appreciated as well.

I always watch the soaps live or if I miss it I go to soapnet, Yes I still have soapnet for how much longer I don’t know, I have only gone to u tube to watch once just a few weeks ago, I go to u tube then put in general hospital and the date it was on they play the first half hour then you look for the 2nd half hour. I do think that soapnet plays it on the net and I think plays it the next day abc has the whole week. have you missed general hospital? It really has been good, but then again I have been saying that all along, I am mad at Jason and his actions since his surgery, Talk about cold stone. The way he has been treating Sam is awful If I was her I wouldn’t go back, wait till she finds out that the reason john didn’t come back to help her and the baby is because of Jason hiring goons to beat John up.Todd has to tell tea the truth, NOW, What he and Heather did is BAD, But like I said at another post Heather can talk a rattlesnake out of its skin, So we will see what will happen next. You really have to get caught up, Port charles is interesting it’s like an old fashion soap opera.

wrong. McBain is ten times better on GH than he was on OLTL. They have given him a personality and more dialogue. He’s awesome. Todd – meh. Starr – like her but never been a great actress. Tea is great. Blair is good. I like what they have done with the OLTL characters coming on to GH. Mostly good storylines (don’t like dead baby) but GH needed a BIG shot of “Fresh” and OLTL folks gave it to them!

No wonder I haven’t heard from you, Last night I read that christy got you the info, I thanked her. (oh gees, my response was nearly “by Hillary”!)

anyways, as I was reading thru wikipedia’s extensive list of General Hospital characters, I came across these two:

        Jason Morgan Jr.
        (Unknown child actors, 2012-present)
Son of Jason and Samantha Morgan.

        Téa Delgado
(Florencia Lozano, 1997–2000, 2002, 2008–2012 on One Life to Live; 2012–present on General Hospital)
Attorney. Mother of Danielle Manning and Victor Lord II (stillborn).

so one listed baby alive, the other listed as stillborn… it’s on the wiki-it must be true! ha ;-b

Once Sam starts insisting the dead baby isn’t her baby, everybody will feel sorry for her and think she is crazier than Heather. Jason will feel guilty for contributing to the baby’s death, which he should. Hopefully, Sam finds out about Jason’s goons beating McBain and delaying care, causing the whole mess of Sam seeking help alone.

I’m sure this cabin is the same cabin in the woods where Michael killed Claudia to save Carly and her baby. Then there’s the dark, rainy, nights, with car accidents, babies/kids getting killed off, and ddd thing. Go to the well ,and find something more original, and while I don’t like mushy, good-feeling love stories all of the time, I really don’t like all of the baby/kid stuff either. There’s enough of this type of stuff on the news everyday.

Dr. David Haywood is a character that U want to hate, but U can’t because he always have GOOD wrapped up in the BAD that he is doing, always! And he has these mean, and yet, misunderstood looks of expression. U just love to hate him. He is however a FINE doctor, which means he has to be a fine actor because he really makes U believe that he is a doctor-in the way of those medical terms roles off his tongue. Because he is a dark character (BUT not all evil -one who really tries to do good), I think he would be a perfect fit into General Hospital, which I spoke of a few days back. I will say, David Haywood would bring a demension of bad to GH (without it being mob related) because, when David was caught up in bad, it was never any mention of the mob. I would like to see David interwine with the mob on Gh, (for a flair of difference). BUT, also have Sonny deal with other bad bays (just plain ole bad boys) that have NOTHING to do with being mixed up in the mob. It would be a nice twist for BOTH of the character’s, or types like them.
        Google him: Vincent Irizarry

    Implausible? YES
    Dramatic? NO

There is nothing “good” about this story line. Do the writers and TPTB really think we want to see babies killed off, kidnapped or switched? As a mother, I HATE these kinds of stories. And now Sam has “lost” two babies at birth? How much is one character supposed to endure? Whether you like Sam or not, it’s cruel and inhumane story telling.

This story has also made me hate Teá…and I used to really like her on OLTL. She may be a good actor, but she has been so over-the-top with this pregnancy story that I can’t stand her anymore.

  37. Annick

    June 6, 2012 at 12:35 pm

Florencia Lozano is a true class act because the killing of Tea&Victor baby was downright cruel and lazy writing, even if the child is still alive. I will not wait around to get one day of Tea,Victor, & baby and give my viewership to the Todd, McBain, returning Blair, JaSam, Carly, and Sonny and his latest squeeze show.

Tea has served her purpose. Like, Victor’s death and return, RC has totally destroyed Victor&Tea&Baby to prop & provide angst and storyline for the played out boring coupling of Blair/Todd & Jason/Sam, and add John to the mix. I knew this when Tea was isolated with Todd & Starr instead of being properly woven into the GH cast or doing her lawyering job like she should have been. Tea was there for one reason and one reason only, to kill her baby and further intertwine Todd & John with the GH cast as well as give Jason a remorse story, and Sam more airtime. The saddest part is Tea did not even get a chance to not only hold her child, but to look at him as well and she never will because her job is done.

Again, do not care if the baby is alive down the road, as of right now, RC is writing Tea&Victor baby as dead and I will not wait for a one day cliffhanger shock like TSJ Victor. It is not worth it because as far as I am concern, RC & FV hate Tea&Victor fans to be so cruel & heartless. I know they have to provide angst for the show, but there were other ways without a dead baby, and I feel this way about Hope also. I also feel bad for Todd & Sam in all of this also, but this is their story, not Tea, she just provided the main ingredient, dead baby.

FL should take a bow, she has also done her job since Steve Burton, Kelly Monaco, and Roger Howarth have their emmy reels for next year because FL will be overlooked once again, which is nothing new, but I hope FL know that this fan think she is one of the all time great on Daytime TV and I am honored and priveleged to take the journey with her as Tea Delgado.

Honey…….. I love Tea. Florencia Lozano is one Fine….. Actress in EVERY SENSE of the Word. I love Tea like I loved Erica at one time. I hate what they have done to the Tea and Victor fans, and I love Victor right up there like I love Sonny.

you asked elsewhere, where you could watch full episodes of GH on youtube…

there are gobs of episodes to watch. They are commercial free and split into 2 halves (part 1/2 and part 2/2). There are many promos on the site too. I like it cuz it loads so much faster than the ABC viewer, which also has commercial interruptions on it.

otherwise, if you’re looking for a particular episode, you can google it and a youtube link will usually popup for you.

Totally agree. I can’t believe they would kill off Victor and Tea’s baby.

if he’s truly dead, only reason I can think of would be because she is not on contract and Trevor isn’t available to reprise his role… but who knows…. they could have some devious twist to the story down the line for us.

I’m talking about Victor, the baby, not the adult character Trevor played. If her baby had lived and off she went back to Llanview, well that would be the end of that. With her baby switched, she goes back home and then John goes back to Llanview, figures things out and eventually they all have to go back to Port Chuck… but I figure her baby maybe was written out because they can’t get Trevor to come back, or maybe just not for quite a while – if they had the child living, well the next time we saw it, it would probably be an older child. With Tea and the baby not on GH all time, maybe this made more sense – writing and actor-wise. Of course many fans always want everyone to live, and live happily ever after and like closure. But sometimes we don’t get that.

I hate the whole baby switch/die thing. It sucks! This storyline better wrap up quickly with Sam getting her baby back. Hate this!!! Heather needs to go; Olivia needs to SPEAK UP and loudly!! about her. She’s caused more damage in the past few months as most characters do in years. Send her back to the funny farm, lock her up and throw away the key!

Christy, Victor is not dead and I would love for him to pop up in Port Charles and Clear Todd of his murder, he would be a good addition’ I liked that victor and Todd turned out to be twins the story of two todds has to continue we have to have a end because we got ripped off when abc then pp canceled One life to live.

Thank You for the sentiment Christy. And… that’s one thing that we have in common. Helping people.

” He who helps one, helps the world ENTIRE…” One of my favorite quotes, but I have forgotten by whom.

whoever saves one life, saves the world entire. Thomas Keneally…….Schindlers list.

1loveabcsoaps – your quote… ‘He who saves one life, saves the World entire’ was a line appropriately used in Shindler’s List.

The original saying is a Talmudic quote, “Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.”
The Talmud is a set of books of centuries old documents on Jewish law, ethics, customs, legends and stories. Essentially a Jewish Holy Book.

And you know, the original longer quote reminds me of Jason and Robin. He, in Sonny’s world, is a destroyer of souls, and then there’s Robin who saved his life more than once. I really like Jason, but we don’t really see him as his character’s job, not really… more like sweet Jason, thug with a kind heart…

I think this latest deal he did with getting John beaten up and setting off a series of things that it is showing him how much damage one harmful act can cause. If he hadn’t tried to hurt John, Sam and the baby would have gone to the hospital with John and been ok, and Jason could have told her he wanted to be a family. But with that one act of Unkindness, he set in motion all the bad things that happened to John, and Sam and her baby, and actually to Todd and Tea and Tea’s baby. If Sam and her baby hadn’t been wandering around outside by themselves, they wouldn’t have bumped into Todd and Heather, and Tea. All this caused by Jason’s act to harm John.

I always wish he’d bonk his head again and be a new kind of Quartermaine and not a mobster anymore.

GH’s Mark Lawson Fuels At-Home Workout With Soap Opera Competition: “Dante, Dante, Dante, Dominic, Dominic, Dominic … But What About Dustin?”

As fans and colleagues of General Hospital and former One Life to Live star, Mark Lawson (Dustin, GH) know, he often posts on his Instagram account at-home workouts from his garage including: exercises with: kettlebells and free weights. In real-life, Lawson is a fitness guru, as well.

In one of his most recent posts over the holiday weekend, Mark used the constant chatter of a potential return of Dominic Zamprogna to GH to reprise his role of Dante Falconeri (which would pit Mark’s school teacher alter-ego Dustin at-odds with Dante, for the love of Lulu (Emme Rylan)) to charge up his workout routine! So what’s a guy to do?  Bicep curls!

Next, fueling his workout in a hilarious send-up, Lawson, as he is curling dumbbells remarks: “You want Dante back? Dante, Dante, Dante … Dominic,Dominic,Dominic … It’s all you talk about.  It’s all you care about, but what about Dustin?  What’s up with Dustin?  Where’s good guy Dustin? School teacher Dustin, who never shot nobody.  Never hurt anybody and all he wanted was a girlfriend.   All everybody talks about is Dante, Dante, Dante. Dominic, Dominic, Dominic.”

You can watch Mark’s IG post below!

Then let us know, if you hope there will be some healthy soap opera competition for the love of Lulu down the line between Dustin and Dante, if Dominic returns to the show.  If he does return, would you be Team Dustin or Team Dante? Share your thoughts via the comment section.

GH’s Michael Easton Posts “Ask Me Anything” Part Two

Over the coronavirus pandemic General Hospital star Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn) has been answering several fans questions posted to him in a series of posts on his official Facebook page.

This week, Easton posted part two of his “Ask Me Anything”, and the fan favorite said he he will do his best to get through everyone’s questions and thanked those who made donations to America Health Care Workers and food banks during COVID-19.

In part two; questions ranged from: his connection with his on-screen brother played by Josh Swickard, if he would ever consider a return to Days of our Lives to reprise the role of Tanner Scofield (his first soap role), what is his favorite part of playing Hamilton Finn, and the casting of his on-screen daughter Violet played by Jophielle Love and more.

One question posed to Easton revolved around the just completed Daytime Emmys, when he was asked: “How many times have you submitted yourself for the Emmys? Some actors seem to put a real emphasis on being nominated but you don’t seem to care that much?”

Michael responded: “I’m pacing myself. I’ve maybe submitted three or four times in twenty years. It’s a lovely honor but not something I focus on. Everyday I try to give the best, most truthful performance I can and as I long as I can do that…I live with myself.”

Make sure to “Like” Michael’s official Facebook page, if you have not already to see more of his “Ask Me Anything’s”

So, what are your hopes for Hamilton Finn when Michael returns to taping new episodes of General Hospital in the future?

WATCH: 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Winners Virtual Interviews

This year’s 47th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were back on television for the first time since 2011, and back on CBS.  Due to the times we are living in the throes of the coronavirus pandemic, the usual kudofest, honoring the best in daytime programming, had to move from its originally scheduled live event to a virtual one.

That also means for us at Michael Fairman TV, the usual backstage “Winner’s Walk” interviews conducted immediately following some of your daytime drama favorites big wins also had to altered for this unique year.

So we had our own, if you will, “Virtual Winner’s Walk” albeit without the walk and without the glitz and glamour.  That being said, it all felt much more intimate as we spoke immediately following Friday night’s broadcast with these newly crowned winners:  Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series winner, The Young and the Restless’ Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott); Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series winner, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Heather Tom (Katie Logan Spencer); who tied One Life to Live’s Erika Slezak (Ex-Viki) with the most wins by an actress in Daytime Emmy history with 6,  Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series winner, The Young and the Restless’ Bryton James (Devon), and Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series winner, The Young and the Restless’, Eva Larue (Ex-Celeste).  All four of these conversations were emotional, candid, and touching.

Over the weekend, we caught up with Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series winner, Tamara Braun (Ex-Kim Nero, General Hospital) for another heartfelt chat on her second all-time win in the category, and Outstanding Writing Team in a Drama Series winner, The Bold and the Beautiful’s executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell, who won this award for the fifth time in his career as he shared how much he learned from his late legendary parents and Y&R and B&B co-creators: Lee Phillip Bell, who was part of the In-Memoriam tribute on the telecast, and the late Bill Bell.

Each of these interviewsare also posted on The Michael Fairman Channel on You Tube.  Make sure to “subscribe” to the channel for more celebrity interviews and features.

Now watch the reactions, thoughts and emotions of this year’s major Daytime Drama Emmy winners below!  Then let us know, who you were most excited about being honored with the Emmy, and more via the comment section .
