On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, Bradford Anderson’s Spinelli attends a movie screening of the new upcoming Marvel super-hero movie that will sure to be a hit at the box office, Avengers which goes into release nationwide on May 4th!

In a good piece of product placement and cross-promotion between GH and Marvel, while at the movie theatre Spinelli is contemplating his theory on who killed evil and very unpopular doctor,  Lisa Niles! Spinelli also bumps into little Cameron and Matt Hunter, (played by Braeden Walkes and Jason Cook respectively) who are attending the Port Charles screening.

You can visit Avengers website here featuring all your favorite comic book heroes come to life and working together, starring Robert Downey Jr,  Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner.  And then tell us, who actually do you think killed GH’s  crazy Lisa Niles?  Matt, Patrick, Maxie, Connie  (why not just throw her in there) Anthony, Lisa herself?  It’s been so long now, do we care? And if  you do, weigh-in on this whodunit!  And, are you thinking about heading to your neighborhood movie theatre to check out Marvel’s Avengers?  Let us know!

I think that Maggie did it since she’s on the way out anyway. She was the doctor dressed as a clown acting weird the day after Lisa died.

Or I hope it’s Ewen that did it.

I just hope that if Matt was the one that did it, he won’t go to jail or get written out because of it. Matt seems to be the latest suspect from Spinelli’s POV.

And I think it’s cute that Matt takes Cam to go see The Avengers. I just wish that Liz would have joined them – Matt/Liz have a lot of potential as a pairing.

Does anyone really care who killed Lisa Niles? I know I don’t.

Matt did it.

who cares who killed lisa niles, and no she didn’t kidnap Robin and fake her death, thats giving the character to much credit, just be done with this storyline already, talk about overkill.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo,to her being the one who kidnapped Robin,I never want to see or hear from lisa niles again ,shes dead ,leave her that way.Aria ,I guess you feel the same as I do about that woman.

Almost everything about GH seems like overkill lately. I have lost faith in CarTini, they are going the way of GagIn and The Luza!

Who gives a rats behind who knocked off lisa niles I hated that woman,How she tipped toed around Patrick all the time made me sick and when anthony woke her up I wanted to ring his neck, there are villians that are really bad but lisa niles was one of the worst,Theres nothing I hate worse is a bitch who goes after some ones husband ,I hate that Patrick slept with that monster.Who ever killed her should get a award of some kind she over stayed her welcome and I was so relieved when finally she was murdered .it was self defense who ever did it ,So a murder its not, maybe she did off herself,Either way she is gone, lets forget about her and get poor mixed up maxi out of jail.

I like the cross promotional idea. This is a Spinelli kind of event and I love hime on more! Bradford is so great! Getting so tired of the Lisa Niles story getting drawn out… but want to see Maxie cleared. Hurry up with the Lisa Niles murder storyline and hopefully it will be Anthony or Ewen.

FINALLY! A cross-promo and product placement! I think that they should do more of that to Save Our Soaps!

I agree with you!

mine, too… can’t wait to see Avengers coming out next week..(sorry,fans, I’m comic books fan all my life:) ) I think Maggie did it.

Don’t really care anymore who killed Lisa Niles…as long as she IS dead AND STAYS dead.

Amen, Sista!

With only 35 minutes of actual show do we need even more advertising. I can’t stand product placement which is really dishonest advertising because it masquerades as show content. OLTL never did this. They promoted worthwhile causes. ;-(

I didnt have a problem with it ,I thought i would have ,It beats seeing any ads of the chew and that revolution show, now thats dishonest ,because abc/disney knows we hate there stupid replacement shows for all my children and One life to live.,I thought it was cute the 3 guys going to see a movie and cameron ,Is that liz’s kids name ?Im having a brain freeze right now ,ice cream. You have it counted out of only 35 minutes an episode?Interesting.

I think Matt should get off. In self defense. Niles got what she derseve.

All the mobsters in port charles get away with killing people, But Matt getting rid of a low life nasty back stabbing bitch gets put away, THAT’S WRONG. What she did to Patrick and Robin on that boat was evil, I hated Lisa Niles since the day she showed up, I am so glad she is gone along with that franco guy. You bet it was self defense he was way to intoxicated to know what he was doing he belonged on that boat for that party she was the uninvited guest torturing Robin and Patrick.

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Take a look at the official GH spoilers for the week below.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4
Brook Lynn and Chase celebrate a milestone. Trina gets an earful. Carly’s plan backfires. Curtis is skeptical. Michael is anxious about his family’s’ future.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
