Paging Dr. Griffin Munro! Matt Cohen Makes A Return Visit To GH

Photo: ABC

Looks like a medical crisis will bring Matt Cohen (Griffin Munro) back to General Hospital today on Friday’s episode and next week on upcoming episodes of the ABC daytime drama series.

In addition, we wonder if Cohen might appear in scenes with Maura West, who’s Ava Jerome is checked into Shadybrook trying to deal with her emotional state, which unbeknownst to her is being caused by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

As GH fans know, Cohen first came on to the GH scene back in 2016, but departed the series earlier in 2019.

Meanwhile, Matt has landed a gig on Entertainment Tonight as one of their correspondents and anchors while continuing to do directing, and acting projects.

What will bring Griffin back to Port Charles? Happy to see Matt again on GH? Comment below.

Welcome back Matt even if it’s for a visit…I really like Matt Cohen, he is IMO an excellent actor and a nice man/person.

Very annoying

I’m getting sick and tired of the good people leaving. Then once they realize what a stupid mistake they bring them back here in there. Very annoying

It’s just for a visit. I actually like this. It makes it a touch more realistic. So many times on soaps, people leave town – NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM AGAIN. These folks still exist in the soap universe, so let them come back for a week or so. Why not?

I always liked his character, especially in the beginning, but now I can’t even remember why he left town??!!

He was tired of Ava whining about the dead Twit & blaming him for her death (even though it was Ryan who killed her, after Ava basically told him to do so)

Good to see him back. Hopefully his air time will NOT be wasted on Ava propping.

I would rather see Griffin, than the Parking Lot “Poet,” and Ned’s daughter ANY day of the week.

DMRR, we agree again. Do not like the new Brook Lynn, or the idea of her and Julian together as I read somewhere. Hope she doesn’t become worse with her grandma’s encouragement when Tracy returns.

Would like him to touch base with Anna. Bffs and she always treated him like a son of hers. He reminds her of Duke the 2nd love of her life.

Thank goodness for the Hallmark Channel’s feel good holiday movies. Especially in today’s real world. Matt Cohen is getting top billing in one of their upcoming movies. Jack Wagner (Frisco) is headlining a baking contest. I’m sure there are other soap people I haven’r seen yet. Then there was Kristin Chenowith (sp?) from the broadway play Wicked which I was fortunate enough to see. Maybe Hallmark should start their own soap show!

Almost forgot, add Ryan Peavey,,.Nathan, General Hospital who is making quite a good living on Hallmark.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Peter’s On Ice, But Is He “Dead” Dead?

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital provided more to the back-story of what Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) did with Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) body after Finn tussled with the guy and Peter fell down the stairwell and hitting his head on the wall, to his supposed death.

In story, Liz became worried when thinking back to how she suggested to Finn – and that they carried out –  putting Peter’s body in a freezer in the sub-basement of the hospital.

As she recalls their plot (to keep Peter’s body from being discovered until they have time to move him permanently), Anna  (Finola Hughes) is on the move of the hospital and uncovers a hidden service elevator that might just take her to the sub-basement, where she could discover Peter’s lifeless body.

But hold the phone! While we know it was revealed that Wes Ramsey departed GH, could it be that Anna could discover the freezer with no sign of Peter in it? Do you really think his reign of terror is over given that he is Cesar Faison’s bio-son?

Share your thoughts: Do you think Peter is really dead, or will the character come back to haunt everyone and try to get revenge on all who tried to stand in his way of Maxie and his child? Comment below.
