Fan favorite Patsy Pease (Kimberly) is on her way back to Salem and Days of our Lives, most likely to help or deal with her troubled daughter, Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley), or maybe Kimberly let her step-daughter, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) have a piece of her mind!

Whatever the case, the good news is Pease is reprising her role of Kimberly Brady!  The actress took to her facebook page to clarify that she is not yet coming back for the show’s 50th anniversary that will air in November, but taped episodes months ago that will air in April!

Pease noted:  “There are 5 shows airing in April (I taped already last Dec.) They are not part of ‘Days 50th anniversary.’ Hope that clears things up! Thank you everybody!”  So, excited to see Patsy back on DAYS?

Do you hope the brass works something out to bring classic super couple Kimberly and Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) back to the fold in a story in time for the big celebration? Share your thoughts below!

Where’s Peggy McKay…or did i miss her…if she is unable to appear as Caroline Brady maybe Florence Henderson could fill in as Mrs. Brady and be head of Salem’s Brady Bunch—i mean family…lol

Patsy Pease has SO much presence… and a piece of auld lang syne… her acting lends SO much history…. LOVE… and a devotion ALL her own. if Shane and Kimberly came back to Salem permanently… I’d be through the roof Happy dance as posted previously it’s time to bring a core family forefront… and the Donovan family is the perfect combination of all Salem requisite Shane and Kimberly… dynamic recast Andrew : for Abs ! lets celebrate LIFE : dance and party with Eve and Theresa.. as they so deserve and inarguably bring LIFE to Salem…. imagine the shared screen… Read more »

i’d much prefer the Donovan family

over Jennifer, JJ, and Abs : the Horton clan acting skills are never all their

time to elevate the Bradys

get a love interest for Kayla and you’ve got magic

Thank You : couldn’t agree more

I just know… that the actresses (Eve and Theresa): have it in them to be FUN, supportive, and all the Brady-Donovan family members rise to the occasion and take over Salem

Ahh, Patrick! I simply adore your loyalty to the Donovans But, Eve is a tramp……which really upsets me. It is really infuriating for the bosses to have taken such a wonderful, seasoned, perfect actress such as Kassie, and turned her into Eve.

Yes, I would like for Eve and Theresa to have their father make an appearance solely to do something about his wayward daughters. Eve should be completely obliterated for her unsavory, vampish and her femme fatale behavior. Theresa? Well, she is in honest-to-goodness pain. The elusive ache of which she speaks is the void she feels but cannot grasp. Her baby is alive; Theresa is uneasy….call it a mother’s instinct and intuition. I love Theresa. She and Brady belong together. I cannot wait for the baby drama to begin. Surely Theresa will sense something when she sees the baby for… Read more »

Oops…Kim is Theresa’s mother, not stepmother.

I love Patsy Pease and Kimberly Donovan, but I need Shane Donovan, the one and only Charles Shaughnessy, to be on screen, too. I am hoping they’ll both get a call for the 50th. In the meantime, Theresa’s current story isn’t one of my favorites, to put it kindly, but I can stomach it a little better if Kim is around.

I know they hired new writers and fingers cross the show will improve in time, but the way its going I think the 50th anniversary might turn out like a bad high school reunion– you are all excited to see old friends and when you do, everyone and everything has changed that you can’t help but be disappointed. Sometimes it is better to remember things the way they once were than face the truth they can never be that way again. So at this point, unless things improve, I rather the 50th year be repeats of episodes from the show’s… Read more »

I like Patsy Pease a lot….should be a good addition! Will Shane be back as well? I would welcome him as well. Why are so many leaving Days? I always find the leaving hard.

DAYS Jackée Harry Joins Freeform Comedy Pilot ‘Everything’s Trash’ in Recurring Role

Jackée Harry is one busy actress in Hollywood!  On the heels of learning that Harry has signed on more full-time on Days of our Lives in her role as Paulina, comes this bit of casting news.

Harry will join the cast of the Freeform comedy pilot, Everything’s Trash along with another notable actor, George Wallace.  Both will have recurring roles in the show should it go to series.

In story, Everything’s Trash follows Phoebe (Phoebe Robinson), a 30-something podcast star navigating her messy life. When her younger brother Jayden emerges as a leading politician, she’s forced to grow up, so she relies on her friends and close-knit family to help her figure out adulthood, since she doesn’t seem to have a clue. The series is inspired by Robinson’s book, “Everything’s Trash But It’s Okay.”

According to Variety, “Harry will star as Zora, Phoebe and Jayden’s mother. She and her husband are mid-Western transplants, but they have made a home in NY . They love and support their children equally, but truth be known, Zora acts (and dresses) younger than she is and straddles the line between “I’m my daughter’s mother” and “I’m my daughter’s best friend.”  Meanwhile, Wallace will play the role of Abraham, Phoebe and Jayden’s father and husband to Zora.

So, looking forward to hopefully seeing Jackée on a half-comedy sitcom at night, and doing her role on Days of our Lives? Comment below.

Victoria Konefal Will Be Back On Days of our Lives

This week Days of our Lives viewers saw the exit of both Theo (Cameron Johnson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal), much to the chagrin of Cin fans everywhere! But hold on! Days head writer, Ron Carlivati revealed that Victoria Konefal will be back on-screen this summer on the NBC soap opera.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Carlivati revealed: “From the moment we were coming to that point and we knew Ciara was going to exit town with Theo, we were immediately pursuing the next chapter with Victoria: When would she be available or willing to come back, and when could we tell the next chapter because I knew that would feel unfinished and be unsatisfying to a lot of people. So that’s why I’m happy to announce here that Ciara is coming back and we are going to tell that next chapter of the story and hopefully, this time, the audience will get the payoff that they’re looking for and hoping for.”

And as to just how long will Konefal who chose to go on recurring status with the show be back for her summer run, Carlivati shared: “At this point, and I can’t speak for Victoria and I can’t speak for the show, and this is not an official announcement in any capacity, but I will say at this point, there is not an end date. We are working with Victoria to keep the story going and keep Ben (Rob Scott Wilson) and Ciara’s love story alive.”

Cin fans should note that Carlivati added, “I would encourage the audience to remember that they (Cin) have an important anniversary coming up this summer that may figure into their story, so she will be back sooner than you know.”

So, happy to know there will be more of Ben and Ciara? Where you upset to see Ciara exit the canvas with Theo? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
