Patsy Pease Makes A Return To Days of our Lives!

Fan favorite Patsy Pease (Kimberly) is on her way back to Salem and Days of our Lives, most likely to help or deal with her troubled daughter, Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley), or maybe Kimberly let her step-daughter, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) have a piece of her mind!

Whatever the case, the good news is Pease is reprising her role of Kimberly Brady!  The actress took to her facebook page to clarify that she is not yet coming back for the show’s 50th anniversary that will air in November, but taped episodes months ago that will air in April!

Pease noted:  “There are 5 shows airing in April (I taped already last Dec.) They are not part of ‘Days 50th anniversary.’ Hope that clears things up! Thank you everybody!”  So, excited to see Patsy back on DAYS?

Do you hope the brass works something out to bring classic super couple Kimberly and Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) back to the fold in a story in time for the big celebration? Share your thoughts below!

Great Kimberly is back but where is Shane….wouldve liked Shane there investigating Teressa’s baby pregnancy claims and Shane is the one who discovers Kristen has his daughters baby!!!

Where’s Peggy McKay…or did i miss her…if she is unable to appear as Caroline Brady maybe Florence Henderson could fill in as Mrs. Brady and be head of Salem’s Brady Bunch—i mean family…lol

Caroline was on a couple of weeks ago.

Patsy should come back and stay 4ever!

Love your pun, 4ever…LOL.

Patsy Pease has SO much presence… and a piece of auld lang syne… her acting lends SO much history…. LOVE… and a devotion ALL her own.

if Shane and Kimberly came back to Salem permanently… I’d be through the roof Happy dance

as posted previously

it’s time to bring a core family forefront… and the Donovan family is the perfect combination of all Salem requisite

Shane and Kimberly… dynamic
recast Andrew : for Abs !

lets celebrate LIFE : dance and party with Eve and Theresa.. as they so deserve and inarguably bring LIFE to Salem…. imagine the shared screen times with Caroline, Kayla, Roman, Hope, and Ciera… amongst every one else

i’d much prefer the Donovan family

over Jennifer, JJ, and Abs : the Horton clan acting skills are never all their

time to elevate the Bradys

get a love interest for Kayla and you’ve got magic

I hope Kim and Shane come home FOR GOOD and SOON. They need to deal with their daughters and GUIDE them

Thank You : couldn’t agree more

I just know… that the actresses (Eve and Theresa): have it in them to be FUN, supportive, and all the Brady-Donovan family members rise to the occasion and take over Salem

Ahh, Patrick! I simply adore your loyalty to the Donovans But, Eve is a tramp……which really upsets me. It is really infuriating for the bosses to have taken such a wonderful, seasoned, perfect actress such as Kassie, and turned her into Eve.

Yes, I would like for Eve and Theresa to have their father make an appearance solely to do something about his wayward daughters. Eve should be completely obliterated for her unsavory, vampish and her femme fatale behavior. Theresa? Well, she is in honest-to-goodness pain. The elusive ache of which she speaks is the void she feels but cannot grasp. Her baby is alive; Theresa is uneasy….call it a mother’s instinct and intuition.
I love Theresa. She and Brady belong together. I cannot wait for the baby drama to begin. Surely Theresa will sense something when she sees the baby for the first time…..a pull she cannot explain or understand.
I thing she will need her father and step-mother when this happens.
I am not familiar with Kim and Shane…however I know their history….not so clean and rosy! Their only use would be to give a very supportive shoulder.

Oops…Kim is Theresa’s mother, not stepmother.

I love Patsy Pease and Kimberly Donovan, but I need Shane Donovan, the one and only Charles Shaughnessy, to be on screen, too. I am hoping they’ll both get a call for the 50th. In the meantime, Theresa’s current story isn’t one of my favorites, to put it kindly, but I can stomach it a little better if Kim is around.

Happy to see her back. Hope to see her and Shane for the 50th!

Great news! Glad to see Days bringing back the faves for the anniversary year.

I just love Patsy Pease as Kimberly!! I would watch more if she and the core Brady’s came back!!! Come on Days writers… Make it happen!!!!

I know they hired new writers and fingers cross the show will improve in time, but the way its going I think the 50th anniversary might turn out like a bad high school reunion– you are all excited to see old friends and when you do, everyone and everything has changed that you can’t help but be disappointed. Sometimes it is better to remember things the way they once were than face the truth they can never be that way again. So at this point, unless things improve, I rather the 50th year be repeats of episodes from the show’s prime than see beloved characters reduced to lame walk on.

I like Patsy Pease a lot….should be a good addition! Will Shane be back as well? I would welcome him as well. Why are so many leaving Days? I always find the leaving hard.

Happy for Kimberly’s return. Make it permanent and bring back Shane.

I am looking forward to your return even if it is for a brief stay. I would love to see you & Charles Shanghanessy back on Days. I loved Kim & Shane. The two of them can straighten their naughty girls out.

Days of our Lives Reveals Newcomers Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon

On the official Days of our Lives Instagram account, a photo has appeared featuring new additions to Salem, Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon.  The Peacock streaming soap opera is not offering up just who they are playing.

However, the smart money seems to be that Jimenez is a recast Gabi Hernandez and Calderon potentially her brother, Dario Hernandez, since the two actors are seen standing in Rafe’s (Galen Gering) kitchen.

In story, Gabi has been stuck in prison for “murdering” Li Shin. Looks like the character will be brought back on to the canvas, but will Gabi reunite with Stefan (Brandon Barash)?

If Calderon proves to be Dario that character has been off the show since 2017, when soap vet Jordi Vilasuso played the part. Dario departed Salem to avoid getting locked up in the slammer and in the process granted Abigail a divorce while in hiding.

If Jimenez looks familiar, she has been featured in roles on Pretty Little Liars,The Newsroom, NCIS, Maya and Breaking Tradition. Calderon has appeared in Walking Dead: World Beyond, and a few episodes of the soapy, The Haves and the Have Nots.

As for Camila Banus, her last day on the DAYS set was back on April 28, 2023, when she revealed she was exiting the role of Gabi, a role she made soap-famous for 13 years.

Do you think Cherie and Al are the new Gabi and Dario? If not, who do you think they are playing? Weigh-in below.

Melissa Reeves Returns to Days of our Lives

Longtime Days of our Lives star, Melissa Reeves, who has not filmed episodes with the Peacock streaming episode since 2021, is reportedly back on set and shooting story as Jennifer Horton. Reeves began her run as Jennifer back in 1985.

Melissa is taping the Thanksgiving episodes, but will also be a part of the Doug Williams memorial in honor her beloved former castmate Bill Hayes, who passed away in January at the age of 98.

According to TV Insider, Melissa had one concern in returning, in that, the role has been most recently been played by Cady McClain in her absence. Reeves expressed, “My one thing was, ‘I’m not taking this away from Cady.’ If this is Cady’s thing and she loves being here and she really loves playing this part, I don’t want to take it away from her. I’m so good either way.”

Previously, Melissa had moved to Tennessee full-time with her husband, Scott Reeves (ex-Y&R, GH, DAYS). Speaking on being back to pay tribute to Bill Hayes, Reeves shared, “I heard about Bill, which was just devastating for all of us. I was like, ‘I wonder if they’re going to do tribute shows.’”

For decades, Reeves along with Matthew Ashford (Jack) formed the Salem supercouple of Jack and Jennifer. She related that she reached out to Ashford who said to her, “Would you ever think about going back?’ to which she replied, ‘Matt, I think about Days all the time.’ Melissa added, “So I said, ‘Matt, you know if they called, I would say yes, but I haven’t heard anything.’”

Being a part of the tribute to Bill Hayes and to say goodbye to his beloved character of Doug Williams, has special significance for Melissa. She mentioned she weeped, recalling, “Of course I cried because he’s such an incredible man, but what an incredible legacy he has left behind as a man, as a father, as a grandfather, as a husband.“

So, looking forward to seeing Melissa Reeves reprise the role of Jennifer Rose Horton later this year as we say goodbye to Doug Williams and honor Bill Hayes? Comment below.
