Prospect Park’s All My Children and One Life to Live Episodes Now Available on Apple TV

The online revivals of All My Children and One Life to Live which lasted one season in 2013 from Prospect Park’s Online Network are back!

Fans can now check out the reboots exclusively on Apple TV where all the episodes of the one and only season in its entirety.

The relaunched AMC and OLTL originally premiered on April 29, 2013, plagued with multiple issues with unions and a lawsuit with ABC, production was halted in September of that year.

ABC now has the rights to both series and recently there has been hopes of an AMC primetime series in the works, “Pine Valley” getting a green light, but not much is known of its progress of late.

You can watch One Life to Live on Apple TV here, and check out episodes of All My Children on Apple TV here.

So, will you watch the reboot episodes of OLTL and AMC on Apple TV? Do you hope that somehow, someway the two soaps will come back on a streaming platform with brand new episodes from ABC? Comment below.

Hey!! If Apple TV can do this, I wonder if there’s a possibility of having “Texas” shown in it’s entirety again. That soap lasted 2 years. That soap is my favorite soap of all-time. One can hope…

“Texas” never aired in Hell, so I’m not familiar with it, though I vaguely remember hearing about it in the early 80s. Whether it can be streamed anywhere probably depends on who owns the rights to the show.

So far we have CBS airing older episodes of their current soaps on Pluto, which is owned by the same parent company, Viacom. So far, there’s been no mention of airing episodes of other long – dead CBS soaps, but it would seem to be an easy fix, should the existing shows prove successful on this platform.

These episodes of AMC/OLTL were owned by Prospect Park who have apparently either sold or licensed them to Apple TV. Since there weren’t very many episodes to begin with, this stream will probably get “old” really quick… but on the other horn, it might cause ABC and/or Hulu (which they have a controlling interest in these days) to look at airing the other seasons of these shows, as well as older seasons of General Hospital

NBC has already moved Days of Our Lives to their Peacock streaming service, and has shown enough interest in the show to create the stream-only “Beyond Salem” mini-series. It would be relatively easy for them to upload past seasons of the show to the Peacock servers.

What network did Texas air on up there?? Who would be most likely to end up with the show, should this idea of resurrecting old soaps for streaming really take off.

It was a Another World spinoff owned by Procter and Gamble and broadcast originally on NBC. Old episodes appeared on TBS cable for about a year after the show was cancelled. PROCTER AND GAMBLE doesnt want to pay the residuals on its old soaps. I remember former cast members of Texas raising this issue when they learned the show was on TBS and arguing they should be paid. All that is old becomes new again.

Texas was a spin-off of Another World, therefore it aired on NBC.

Texas was a spin off of Another World and aired on NBC. I believe AW was a P&G soap, thus I’d assume Texas was too.

The AMC reboot really was well-done, better than AMC had been in years on ABC. I’m glad the Prospect Park episodes are seeing the light of day once again.

Please ABC save us from the horrible too loud music in Prospect Parks ONE LIFE TO LIVE…

All for reboot V3!

It’s .99 cents per episode for $57.00 or $37.00 for the one season. Hmmm? Don’t think i’ll be watching this anytime soon. So together that’s $74.00 at the least. Not included on Apple+ TV for free. Yet.

Not many will watch-
They are near solely counting on the Boomers of the day to tune in–

Back then; TV was just that TV with a few good stations and cable being brought in..
The now day people have 1,000 entertainment choices and
a soap opera of their grandmas are not what they hunger for..

So– even the juiced-up hot sexy reboots of long-dead soaps will not grab in many new viewers..

None will follow along and along and along, on a daily basis- not many have the want to do that..
Today people are about easy and speed, especially the younger…
The times have greatly changed,
That is my opinion 🙂 🙂

I enjoyed the Prospect Park reboots of OLTL and AMC and was looking forward to seeing where their stories would go. Unfortunately, business got in the way. I’d love to see those episodes again. I won’t because Apple TV has the nerve to charge for something that I’ve already seen for free.

The proposed new show, Pine Valley, sounds interesting and could potentially incorporate elements of both AMC and OLTL since both shows are from the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. They did crossover stories years ago. I always said instead of cancelling the shows, the alphabet network should have combined them under the title All My Life to Live.

Not a day goes by the I don’t miss our beloved One Life to Live.

Mark Consuelos Celebrates One-Year Anniversary as Co-Host of ‘Live’ Alongside Kelly Ripa

Today, April 17th marks a full-year since Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) took over the co-hosting duties of ‘Live” alongside his wife, and longtime co-host, Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley, All My Children).

Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest who are six seasons decided to be back on the west coast full-time. For Consuelos, now having the opportunity to work off of Ripa as co-hosts has been something of adjustment for him, but viewers have been eating it up.

Live with Kelly and Mark has remained the No. 1 entertainment talk show on television over the past year, growing 3% in average total viewers to 2.23M per episode.  It is also the most-watched daytime talk show in the last year in key demos of women 18-49 and women 25-54. All of this, since the real-life marrieds teamed-up.

Speaking with Deadline, Kelly Ripa shared why the two are gelling on-screen, “I do think that there is something very possibly relatable about our relationship. We have disagreements like a normal couple, and we’re not afraid to let them unfold on the air and in front of America, and I think people find a lot of themselves in that.”

Mark weighed in how he has progressed as a host, and what he could improve at, sharing, “I’d like to get better at my interviewing skills. I’d like to get better at reading a teleprompter…I think I’m getting better at throwing to commercial. The other day in the middle of the show as we go to commercial, my sign off was ‘See you guys around.’ I mean, the show wasn’t over. The most obvious thing to say would be, ‘We’ll be back right after this.’ But I just said, ‘See you around.’ So we went to commercial and one of the producers (goes) ‘What was that?’ I don’t know… So for the next few sign offs, as a joke, I’d say ‘See you around.’ We got a kick out of it.”

Meanwhile, Kelly has given huge props to Mark, “I find Mark utterly compelling, really interesting, super funny, and he’s bold in a way like nobody else. He says what’s on his mind. If he’s thinking it, he says it.  I’ve done this a long time and oftentimes people will adjust their natural personalities to pander to what they think the audience wants to hear, and Mark will tell people what he thinks, and he doesn’t care if it’s not a popular opinion. It gives him an edginess that I think is really missing in the landscape today. Everybody’s so afraid to say anything, and Mark is unafraid to say exactly what he’s thinking.”

In a statement, Debra O’Connell, President News Group and Networks, Disney Entertainment shared, We could not be more thrilled with how Mark has seamlessly joined the show family as permanent co-host. His undeniable charisma and his and Kelly’s natural chemistry are evident as they deliver the laughs and smiles to our viewers each morning. We are incredibly proud of how Live has continued to evolve and that the audience is responding so enthusiastically.”

So, do you think Mark Consuelos is the best co-host his wife Kelly Ripa has ever had on ‘Live’? How would you say he is doing as co-host after one full year on the job? Comment below.

Jacob Young Shares Production Pic of Cast of His New Film Featuring Joan Collins and Nadia Bjorlin

Last month, during a livestream conversation on the Michael Fairman Channel, while promoting Jason Cook’s film, Four for Fun, and featuring soap notables Jacob Young (ex-AJ, AMC, ex-Lucky, GH, ex-Rick, B&B) and Brytni Sarpy (Y&R), Young revealed some intel on his upcoming movie project.

Jacob shared that he was set to direct, produce and star in a Agatha Christie-like murder mystery feature film, Murder Between Friends shooting in Prague.

The actor/director expressed, “I’m flying at the end of the March to Prague to direct, produce and star in a film with Joan Collins (ex-Dynasty). Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe, Days of our Lives) is in it, and Toby Alexander Smith from Eastenders (ex-Gray Atkins). Plus, a couple of my Broadway friends and a very well known Czech actress (Hana Vagnerova). It’s very ‘Knives Out’ without having a hundred million dollars to shoot it, but still will be a lovely film nonetheless.”

Young is currently shooting the film’s principal photography abroad through April 17th.

Over the weekend, Jacob took to his Instagram to share a photo with the cast of the film where pictured is former Dynasty star, Joan Collins (ex-Alexis) and former Days of our Lives star, Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe). In addition, former All My Children star, Trent Garrett (ex-Asher) is seen in director-mode kneeling.

Trent and Jacob are both co-directors of Murder Between Friends Joan Collins shared the pic on her Instagram citing, “This was the #secret I posted about several weeks ago!”
