Réal Andrews Back To General Hospital

Photo: JPI

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital confirmed what everyone had believed, that Marcus Taggert did not really die!

In key scenes on the pier, it was revealed that Jordan helped fake Taggert’s death, so he could protect his daughter, Trina (Sydney Mikala), and so he could go underground all in an effort to catch Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)  at his own game.  That meant that longtime fan favorite,  Réal Andrews is back on GH.

Upon his return on-air today, Andrews took to social media sharing:“I’m Baaack… Taggert is alive.”   To the fans of GH, he expressed: “Thank you so much I am so grateful and appreciate you.”

Now the question is, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) never told hubby Curtis (Donnell Turner) that Marcus was alive, while we also learned Curtis and Portia (Brooke Kerr) have a history.  So is this about to become a quadrangle?

Will Marcus stay “dead: or go rogue to bring down Renault?  Share our thoughts via the comment section and let us know if you are glad GH did not really kill Taggert!

Glad he’s back and HOPE that means Renault is going down soon. I can’t stand the character of Renault! GH has been very good over the paswt few years about developing evil characters you can’t wait to see “get their’s” only to have them exit in a disappointing way. I would have loved to have seen a who-dun-it where Shiloh was concerned, but instead we got the boring Sam shot him and went to jail for a month storyline. Nelle went to prison for a bit longer and is back to do evil in PC, but I suspect nothing terrible… Read more »

Sorry Rodd, Cyrus has chemistry with Laura (and Kober is a big get). Until his character bests Sonny, he isn’t going anywhere.

The whodunnit “victim” is likely to be Nelle.

The writers were heading towards a whodunnit with Shiloh then were likely told to expedite his exit. This led to the contrived Sam’s in prison for a month then out on parole fiasco we’ve been subjected to.

He never showed up in Hell, so I figured it was a fake death from the beginning. Nobody really thinks Taggart was going to Heaven, right??

Well, Taggart didn’t stay hidden very long, did he? Jumping right in the middle of the Julian vs Psycho Nelle thing, obviously not aware of what the deal was there, and letting a psycho kidnapper run off with a baby, only to get himself injured in the process.

And in the final irony, being discovered by the last person he would normally ask for help, Jason! A Devil has to laugh his pointy tailed ass off at that one!!

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Peter’s On Ice, But Is He “Dead” Dead?

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital provided more to the back-story of what Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) did with Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) body after Finn tussled with the guy and Peter fell down the stairwell and hitting his head on the wall, to his supposed death.

In story, Liz became worried when thinking back to how she suggested to Finn – and that they carried out –  putting Peter’s body in a freezer in the sub-basement of the hospital.

As she recalls their plot (to keep Peter’s body from being discovered until they have time to move him permanently), Anna  (Finola Hughes) is on the move of the hospital and uncovers a hidden service elevator that might just take her to the sub-basement, where she could discover Peter’s lifeless body.

But hold the phone! While we know it was revealed that Wes Ramsey departed GH, could it be that Anna could discover the freezer with no sign of Peter in it? Do you really think his reign of terror is over given that he is Cesar Faison’s bio-son?

Share your thoughts: Do you think Peter is really dead, or will the character come back to haunt everyone and try to get revenge on all who tried to stand in his way of Maxie and his child? Comment below.
