REVENGE Begins Its Roll-Out Of Next Week's Season Finale! The Fate Of A Major Character Will Be Key!

It’s getting even more dramatic in the Hamptons, if that’s even possible!  This week the story picks up on ABC’s Revenge  (10PMET/PT) after Charlotte (Christa B. Allen)  has been kidnapped and Pascal (Olivier Martinez) was chopped to bits thanks to a shove by Conrad (Henry Czerny) of his nemesis into a helicopter! And this was right after Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) pledged her love to her former flame.

Now with everything caving in on the duo, will we finally know what happened to David Clarke  some 20 years ago?

In the second to last episode of season three, entitled “Impetus”, ABC previews, “Dire circumstance leads Emily (Emily VanCamp) to take extreme measures against both the Graysons and those closest to her.” What will she do next?  Last week she was posing as Agent Rebecca Stone!

ABC’s Revenge has released this promotional image for next week’s season finale on May 11th, which clearly indicates that one of the main characters pictured will be killed-off!  Who will it be?  Let us know your thoughts on who will meet their maker? But first, watch a teaser for tonight’s episode after the jump!

I think it’s either going to be either Charlotte or Aiden who dies or maybe the show will have more than one character die.

    Big fan of Revenge..
I always hate when it end ..
I really like the opening; the sea of blood ..

I pray to the lord above that it is Aiden!!! I hate him and have from day 1!!! Unlike Margaux who I have come to enjoy now that she is falling for Daniel, Aiden just always seemed out of place, and forced.

Hate? Such a strong word for a TV character.

    Please let it be Daniel!!

His character is as awful as his acting.

Well, rumor had it that Josh wanted his character killed off. Maybe, he got his wish granted.

Although a fan of Aiden, I must admit his character has become redundant. Since Barry booked a pilot, I guess it could be him. I’ll cross my fingers and hope it’s Daniel.

The Young and the Restless Pushes Back Production Restart Date Due To COVID-19 Spike

As the coronavirus pandemic is spiking again in LA County and California, CBS’ Daytime-Emmy winning The Young and the Restless has now postponed their previously announced goal of a production restart of July 6th to now eyeing July 13th as their new start date.  Deadline first broke the news.

But all of this could change, given that California Governor Gavin Newsom and LA County health officials have come forward that the spike of COVID-19 cases, test positivity and hospitalization rates in California have given the Governor serious concerns, so much so that now he is tightening restrictions again for the state to include: once again shutting down indoor dining, closing all bars, indoor movie theatres, as well as all beaches being closed for the 4th of July holiday.

Just last Friday, Y&R picked up the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series at the 47th annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

General Hospital is still eyeing a mid-July production restart, The Bold and the Beautiful had gone back into production and Days of our Lives still has episodes banked into the fall, and at this time have not yet announced plans to restart production.

So, do you think Y&R can safely go back into production in a few weeks given the COVID-19 uptick in new cases? Comment below,

GH’s Michael Easton Posts “Ask Me Anything” Part Two

Over the coronavirus pandemic General Hospital star Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn) has been answering several fans questions posted to him in a series of posts on his official Facebook page.

This week, Easton posted part two of his “Ask Me Anything”, and the fan favorite said he he will do his best to get through everyone’s questions and thanked those who made donations to America Health Care Workers and food banks during COVID-19.

In part two; questions ranged from: his connection with his on-screen brother played by Josh Swickard, if he would ever consider a return to Days of our Lives to reprise the role of Tanner Scofield (his first soap role), what is his favorite part of playing Hamilton Finn, and the casting of his on-screen daughter Violet played by Jophielle Love and more.

One question posed to Easton revolved around the just completed Daytime Emmys, when he was asked: “How many times have you submitted yourself for the Emmys? Some actors seem to put a real emphasis on being nominated but you don’t seem to care that much?”

Michael responded: “I’m pacing myself. I’ve maybe submitted three or four times in twenty years. It’s a lovely honor but not something I focus on. Everyday I try to give the best, most truthful performance I can and as I long as I can do that…I live with myself.”

Make sure to “Like” Michael’s official Facebook page, if you have not already to see more of his “Ask Me Anything’s”

So, what are your hopes for Hamilton Finn when Michael returns to taping new episodes of General Hospital in the future?

47th Annual Daytime Emmys Draws Over 3 Million Viewers For CBS Telecast with Return to Network TV

Friday night was a good night for daytime!  With its first foray back on to network television since 2011, the Daytime Emmy kudofest, while for the first time held this year virtually, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, scored very well in its timeslot.

The CBS broadcast averaged 3.1 million total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating.  That is way up from the last time viewers saw the award show on TV when it was on cable network POP TV back in 2015 with just over 900,000 viewers for its initial broadcast.

According to TV Insider report: The first hour of the Emmys garnered 3.3 million viewers to top the hour by edging out a rerun on ABC”s Shark Tank, and then slipped to second place for the second hour with 2.8 million viewers.

These were strong numbers for Friday night, and hopefully CBS and the other major networks will now continue this, and serve up the Daytime Emmy Awards moving forward.

The ladies of CBS’s The Talk hosted the event; each virtually from their homes, in an event filled with at-home acceptance speeches and presenters, and clip packages. The show was produced by NATAS and Associated Television International
