REVENGE Casting News: Barry Sloane Cast As Man from Emily Thorne's Past!

The hit ABC primetime soapy drama, Revenge is beefing up its casting additions for season two.  We have previously mentioned that the show is bringing on Emily’s mom and another Grayson son, but now comes word from TV Line that Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp)  is in for a blast from the past when British actor, Barry Sloane comes on to the scene in a recurring role.

Sloane will play Ethan, a mystery man with ties to Emily’s past.  The Liverpool-born actor’s previous credits include ITV’s DCI Banks and the BBC series Holby City and HollyoaksRevenge will return with it’s new time slot on Sunday’s this fall at 9PMESt/PST!

Days of our Lives Returns To Production After Temporary Halt Amid COVID-19

Monday, the cast and crew of NBC’s Days of our Lives returned to taping ahead of schedule after a positive Covid-19 test shut production down originally scheduled for two weeks.

However, Salem is reportedly once again hoping and new scenes and episodes are beginning to tape a week ahead of when originally planned.

Although not officially confirmed by the show, the word of the early return got out, apparently, via a posting by Lauren Koslow on her Instagram account where she is pictured in a Kate Roberts outfit in her dressing room.

Koslow shared: “Stepping into Monday in alice + olivia black velvet,” She also tagged the post #dressingroomselfie and the words. “Stay strong.”

She also added a quote from poet Maya Angelou: “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.”

GH’s Ingo Rademacher Shares Insight With His Son On Parenting & Anger On Maurice Benard’s “State of Mind”

Maurice Benard has brought his State of Mind  to You Tube, and his guest for this week is none other than Sonny Corinthos’ longtime nemesis Jasper Jacks, Ingo Rademacher.

Rademacher decided to appear on State of Mind along with his son, Peanut, to talk about the incidents of parenting and anger when raising his children, and the effects discipline can have on the kids.

There are some very emotional moments within the segment, as Peanut opens up about his feelings when his dad was upset with him and how he dealt with  it

Ingo also shares how over the past few years his relationship with his son has approved, while Maurice offers key moments from his past with his father and his own son.

Per Maurice on the concept behind the show and his ongoing website: “State of Mind to me means being 100% present, feeling completely at peace inside of you, not letting your thoughts control your life and always looking for ways to be the best that you can be.”

Y&R Shares ‘Most Memorable Moments Of Dina Mergeron’: What Was Your All-Time Favorite?

Yesterday, viewers of The Young and the Restless needed the hankies as they had to say goodbye to the character of Dina Mergeron and actress Marla Adams who was killed-off the CBS Daytime drama series due to Dina’s battle with Alzheimer’s coming to a a heartbreaking end.

Adams had been with the series on and off for over five decades.  In story and during her run, when Dina reappeared or disappeared it was a game-changer for the Abbott family.  She was a wealthy woman who often put her own needs in front of her children and her marriage to John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).  From affairs, leaving her children when they were young, to becoming a manipulative business woman, Dina Mergeron was no push-over.

When Marla Adams returned to the series four years ago in 2017, it was the intent that during Dina’s decline from Alzheimer’s  disease that she would reunite with her children and help the family find some inner-peace from all the damage and pain she had caused them through the years.
