REVENGE’s renewal pleases me. Seems the story is back on track, although I miss some of the more sunny ways early chapters played out in Hamptons glory in Season 1. Recent episodes seem so dark and et in abandoned buildings and under cloudy skies. Admittedly this is the mod of the ‘hood where the Graysons reside but I’d like some more glam. the speed plotting is a bit cray-cray, too, but I guess it is what it is, no?

Will be interesting to see how the stories hang on the cliff after Sunday… and what fate is there for the prisoned Conrad (Is he done?) And Aiden (for the actor was associated with a pilot I think was picked up for series)?

Excellent news! Love the show…Soooo hoping NASHVILLE gets picked up, which if I had to make a choice I’d choose over REVENGE (though I do love them both) and DRACULA. C’mon ABC!

Lemme take that back. I wouldn’t choose NASHVILLE over REVENGE… I DO love them both. But, hmmmm…I think I’d be more disappointed if NASHVILLE gets cancelled…(is that saying the same thing in a different way? :/ )

‘Grand Hotel’s’ Lincoln Younes Cast As Lead In CW’s Reboot Pilot of ‘The Lost Boys’

In intriguing casting news, Australian-born actor, Lincoln Younes (Ex-Home and Away and most recently ABC’s Grand Hotel, where he played Danny) has landed one of the leading roles in CW’s reboot and upcoming pilot of The Lost Boys based on the 1987 movie.

Joining Younes in the other lead roles in the pilot will be Braeden Cook (Industry) and Ruby Cruz (Castle Rock).

According to Deadline the series is said to be about the following: “When a mother and her Gen Z sons, one played by Cook, move to the seaside town where she grew up, they discover there’s a sinister reason the local cool kids sleep all day, party all night, never grow up and never get old. Family bonds are tested as the brothers find themselves on opposite sides of a mythological struggle. Based on the 1987 cult classic that revolutionized how we think about vampires.”

In The Lost Boys reboot, Younes plays Benjamin, the charismatic leader of the gang of vampires in the town. It is a version of the David character played in the movie by Kiefer Sutherland.

The pilot is written by Heather Mitchell and Rob Thomas and will be directed by Marcos Siega.
