REVENGE Series Finale Promo: Who Will Die? Will Anyone Get A Happy Ending?

Courtesy/ABC

Last night in a jaw-dropper final minutes of ABC’s Revenge, the series set up next week’s series finale, when Revengers have to bid farewell to the soap in the Hamptons!  But before its time to go, Sunday’s episode entitled, “Plea” featured some major moments!

First, and foremost as many expected, even though Madeleine Stowe did an “exit” interview, of sorts, Victoria is alive! Ben (Brian Hallisay) is tracks her down, and unfortunately gets killed in the process by Courtney Love AKA White Gold!

Elsewhere and sadly, David (James Tupper) is dying of stage four lymphoma, brain cancer.  He informs Amanda (Emily VanCamp) he maybe has six months to live at most.  Amanda is devastated and wants her dad to promise to keep up the fight as they will beat this, although David knows his fate is sealed.  And then we have one of the most long-awaited moments in the four year history of the series, Amanda finally admits to Jack (Nick Wechsler)she wants to be with him.  In a tender moment the two are about to kiss, only Nolan (Gabriel Mann) spoils the moment when he tells Amanda she needs to put her ankle monitor back on.  And let’s not forget Amanda’s confrontation in the vengeful Margaux’s (Karine Vanasse) prison cell!  Kudos to Emily VanCamp who wants again throughout last night’s episode showed why she is the heart and soul of the very dark and twisted series.

All of this sets up next week’s series finale on Sunday May 10th beginning at 10PMET/9PMCT.   In the series finale promo a few things to point out among many quick cuts:  Amanda pointing a gun at Victoria, Jack looking not so good in the hospital and Amanda kissing his forehead (Oh-oh!), and Amanda in a pool of blood!

Watch the series finale promo after the jump! Then weigh-in, what do you think will befall, Amanda, Victoria, Jack and Nolan as Revenge gives us one last dramatic hour of television?

Im gonna miss this show. There’s really no where else for it to go and its kind of written itself into a corner, but I’ve enjoyed it.

I felt this 4th and final season was set up in anticipation to be the end. I hope Amanda get her final revenge on Victoria. I want Amanda with Jack. Nolan their steadfast friend. Any other characters can fall by the wayside.

I didn’t understand Courtney Love as White Gold. Could someone explain?

Ugh. I’m not sure that I’d put it past this show to kill off the last five main characters – Jack, Amanda, Victoria, David and Nolan. I could see them throwing Margeaux and Louise into the grave too. I really can’t see Amanda and Jack riding off into the sunset at the end.

Charlotte should survive but only because she (rightfully) distanced herself from the whole lot of them.

This last half season has reminded me of the end of LOST with the high body count.

Have loved this show since day one. It has made me cry more than once and I’m sure going to cry on Sunday. I hope Amanda and Jack get their happy ended. We all know Revenge loves flashbacks! Hopefully Jack in the hospital is just a flashback from when Emily found fake Amanda and Jack on the boat. Seems like it’s either going to Victoria and Amanda killing each other, or one actually surviving. I would like to see Amanda and Charlotte reconnect as sisters before the end of this series. Guess we’ll have to wait for Sunday night. With… Read more »

Last night’s episode was simultaneously riveting and devastating. I HATE the irony that just when they found each other David is going to die…and I was shocked and sad that Ben took a hit, too. Great drama but just felt sad after watching it…

Great run of a great show…will miss it…although there’s almost no one left to miss…

Y&R’s Michael Graziadei Proposes to Girlfriend, Lauren on ‘The Talk’

In just a beautiful moment that makes you reach for the ‘hankies’, The Young and the Restless’ Michael Graziadei (Daniel) surprised his girlfriend, and the mother of his two children, Lauren Carey, during today’s episode of The Talk.

Graziadei along with castmates, Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Bryton James (Devon), and Christel Khalil (Lily) were guests on the show celebrating Y&R’s 50th anniversary.

During the group interview, Graziadei revealed it was Lauren’s birthday, yesterday, and so he called her up from the studio audience and surprised her.

Michael shared: “This is my beautiful girlfriend, Lauren.  We’ve spent the better half of 10 years together… she’s given me beautiful twins and I just wanted to do something special for your birthday. So I was thinking, you know, how there is no one on this earth that I would rather grow old and die with. So, I was wondering…will you marry me?”

A stunned but thrilled Lauren said “yes”, and then shared:  “I love you.  I guess I can thank you two (turning to Khalil and James) for this because he can afford the ring now.”

Next, co-host Akbar Gbajabiamila asked Lauren, if she felt the proposal was coming.  She confessed, “I mean it’s been 10 years, so I figured it was never going to happen.”

Watch Michael’s heartfelt proposal to Lauren below.

Louise Sorel Back Taping Episodes at Days of our Lives

During a guest appearance with Harvey Brownstone on his celebrity You Tube interview show, Louise Sorel revealed that she is back in-studio taping all-new episodes of Days of our Lives as Vivian Alamain.

This will mark the first on-screen appearance by Sorel in over three years.  However, we heard Sorel’s voice when Vivian made a call to Stefan (Brandon Barash) back in January of this year.

The last few times Vivian was on-screen in Salem, she was played by two different Daytime Emmy-winning actresses. First, One Life to Live icon, Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian) played the part and then exited the canvas back in the fall of 2019.  Next, Linda Dano (ex-Felicia, AW and ex-Rae OLTL), took on the role in early 2021 for a brief stint.

In this newly released interview, Sorel dished with Brownstone on the rigors of taping a soap opera, and how on her first day back she felt “God-awful.”  Louise qualified that with how she found herself apologizing left and right to the cast and crew because it had been awhile since she had so much dialog to recite and to get back into the swing of things.

The longtime DAYS favorite also speaks to the pace in which everyone works at DAYS to get the episodes completed each day in front of the camera.  Since Days of our Lives tapes so far in advance, it will be months till Sorel is seen on the Peacock streaming series.

Check out Sorel’s interview below, where she also shares some behind the scenes intel on her time on Santa Barbara as Augusta Lockridge.

Andy Kaufman to be Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

The late comedian, Andy Kaufman has been announced as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

Kaufman, who was best-know as Latka Gravas in the hit sitcom Taxi from 1978-1983, loved pro wrestling and used it in a gimmick quite often in his comedy routine including several times on Saturday Night Live.

Andy eventually declared himself the ‘Inter-Gender Wrestling Champion of the World’, offering money to any woman who could pin him as part of his act.  This led to a feud with fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Jerry “The King” Lawler.

As the ruse continued, Lawler and Kaufman convinced the audience they were bitter enemies. Some of the highlights of their faux feud included: Kaufman claiming that Lawler broke his neck when Lawler performed a piledriver on him, and the two trading insults on Late Night with David Letterman before Lawler slapped Kaufman, knocking Andy out of his chair.

Lynne Margulies, Kaufman’s partner, even received a book deal over the antics. It was called Dear Any Kaufman, I Hate Your Guts.  The contents were from a compilation of hate mail, Andy received from the women he challenged to wrestle on Saturday Night Live.

Sadly, Kaufman died from lung cancer and was never a smoker back in 1984.  He was only 34-years-old.

In an ironic twist to the upcoming ceremony, Lawler recently suffered another stroke back in February of this year, and while he would be the perfect choice to induct Hoffman into the Hall of Fame, it is unclear at this time if he would even be able to.

Kaufman joins Rey Mysterio Jr. and The Great Muta as the class of 2023 thus far.

The Hall of Fame ceremonies that will stream live on Peacock direct from Los Angeles on March 31st, the night before Wrestlemania 39 begins.

Check out two of Andy’s matches – one against a woman from Memphis Wrestling and one from his battles with Jerry Lawler.
