Season four of Revenge has centered around the shocking return of David Clarke (James Tupper) – the father of Emily AKA Amanda (Emily VanCamp) – and former lover of Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe).  For three seasons the series focused on Emily’s takedown of the entire Grayson clan to exact revenge for their part in killing him.  But now that David is alive, was all that for naught?

Actor James Tupper who plays the mysterious-acting David Clarke chatted it up with TV Line about: David’s reunion with Emily which began at the end of last week’s episode cliffhanger, what David truly feels for Victoria now, why the guy is acting so strange and much more.  Here are a few interesting excerpts below!

Tupper on the audience finding out what did happen to David for those 20 years he had been missing:  “Oh, you’re going to find out soon. It’s like peeling back the layers of an onion; every episode moving forward will reveal more of what happened. This Sunday, the FBI begins to investigate more of David’s history. You’ll find out more about the surveillance photos from last week and what he’s been up to. David and Emily finally also acknowledge each other as father and daughter for the first time. He finally gets to tell her how he feels about her past actions, how she’s taken revenge. I think it’ll be shocking for the fans.”

Tupper on if David’s opinion of Victoria is changing:  “I think, even from the beginning of the season, that was a question. But she’s also the love of his life. When he went away, he dreamed of having her back, having that life back. In a way, it’s a battle between his head and his heart when it comes to his relationship with Victoria.

So, what do you think is going on with David Clarke?  Do you want Team Clarke to work together to bring down Victoria? Do you think these two will even get on the same page when it comes to Victoria? Comment below!

He has to even think about being with Victoria? For God’s sake he almost knifed his daughter in her sleep because Victoria was setting him up about how bad Emily is.

This is a man who remembers “his” Victoria from 20 years ago. She was probably different then…and he’s held on to that memory for all these years. However, if there’s not some twist where he’s been watching the entire revenge from a secret camera he had set up or getting info from a spy he planted in Victoria and his daughter’s midst…I would hope he’d choose Emily/Amanda in the end. OR…maybe he’ll turn on his daughter and get “revenge” for all she’s done to Victoria!

i want David and Victoria together in the end..After all Emily/Amanda has done plenty of harm as well…And Victoria never would have betrayed David if she wasn’ t forced to in order to protect Daniel.

General Hospital and ‘H.R. Pufnstuf’s’ Billie Hayes Dead at 96

She was one-of-a-kind, and now actress Billie Hayes has passed away at the age of 96.  Hayes’ family announced her death from natural causes on April 29th at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Hayes was best-known for her unforgettable role as Witchiepoo on the 1969-70 Saturday morning live-action children’s classic H.R. Pufnstuf from Sid and Marty Kroft.

However, daytime fans will remember that then General Hospital executive producer, Gloria Monty, hired Hayes to play the recurring role of the street-smart international spy, Brighton O’Reilly, back in the 80’s series hey day.

GH’s Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) took to Twitter to mourn the loss of Hayes on Monday sharing; “My dear wonderful Billie Hayes has died. Sadly I only got to work with her on GH but it was a magical relationship. Right away Gloria Monty saw something unique and ran with it. I cannot tell you how her passing saddens me.”

In story, Brighton O’Reilly was shot and killed by Victor Cassadine back in 1981. Billie told Soap Opera Digest back in 2003 about her time as an agent on GH, and her exit from the series: “I asked Gloria why she killed me off, and Gloria said, ‘To tell you the truth, Billie, we really hemmed and hawed at it. But I decided to do it for selfish reasons. I knew if I killed O’Reilly there’d be such an abundance of sympathy and love for Scorpio that his stock would go up. And he’s my new leading man!’ I understand why Gloria knocked me off, but I would have loved to have gone on with it because I feel it could have been developed into a fascinating character.”

Sid and Marty Kroft also took to Twitter and expressed:  “Margaret Hamilton (Wizard of Oz) once told us that Billie Hayes was “one of the best witches ever” We couldn’t agree more. Rest in Peace dear friend.”

Billie’s career spanned decades including Broadway, television, motion pictures and voice-over work. In addition, she founded the Los Angeles-based animal rescue nonprofit organization Pet Hope, a cause she had championed since adopting a puppy abandoned in the basement of Broadway’s St. James Theatre during the run of Lil’ Abner in which she was featured in the role of Mammy Yokum.
