Daytime Emmy winner and fan favorite Peter Bergman is celebrating this month his 25th anniversary with The Young and the Restless playing the one and only Jack Abbott!

To kick-off the festivities, CBS Connect hosted a live event chat this week where fans on Twitter using the hashtag #AskYR posed questions to Bergman and his long time scene partner and on-screen sister, Eileen Davidson (Ashley)! During the chat, Peter revealed what he remembers of his very first day on the set, and then both he and Davidson reveal their most challenging or difficult storylines.  Peter revealed it was the “Keemo” storyline where it seemed odd talking about Jack’s years in the Vietnam war, while balancing him being in the boardroom and in corporate business at Jabot!

Eileen said one of the more difficult stories for her was Y&R creator Bill Bell’s classic storyline where Ashley has a miscarriage and then follows it up with a nervous breakdown.

One of the fun moments of the chat happened when a fan asked Peter when he will get a Twitter account, as right now the Newmans have a higher Twitter count than the Abbotts! To which Bergman replied, “As soon as hell freezes over I’m getting my Twitter account!”

Watch the entire video replay featuring Eileen and Peter after the jump! Then let us know …  do you agree with Eileen and Peter’s selection of the stories that they liked the least?  What is your favorite moment from their chat? Comment below!

I love peter Bergman, he is a wonderful actor. Peter is still very good looking for his age, he is 61 years old. Eye candy lol.

Ayy Eileen! What are you wearing? Love the flag but that shirt has to go! Kristen not Ashley wouldn’t be caught dead in that! Maybe Susan.

Peter Bergman does not age. Hence, he’s one of the best looking men on daytime tv. Sexy doesn’t always mean shirtless. He has such a charisma about him. Hard to believe he’s in his 60’s!! He’s sexy as hell!! I would date him and i’m 30!!!

General Hospital

Adam Huss Fills-in as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital

Look for Nikolas Cassadine to have a new look on tomorrow’s Wednesday, September 29th episode of General Hospital when Adam Huss temporarily replaces Marcus Coloma in the role for that episode.

Although no reason has been given for the short recast, Huss shared on his website: “I heard a little rumor that I’ll be on @generalhospitalabc this week, getting to play #nikolascassadine for a moment.”

Huss had previously shared on a post on his Instagram which has since been taken down: “Tune in Sept. 29th, Wednesday, on ABC for the juicy stuff!”  It appears Huss got to play opposite Maura West (Ava) and Kin Shriner (Scott) in scenes when he also added: “Got to work with some amazing folks and consummate professionals! Thank you to the best (casting director), Mark Teschner, and his amazing crew.”

Adam has previously appeared in daytime on Days of our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful and Passions, and in primetime on Power, NCIS and Everwood, to name but a few.

So looking forward to seeing Adam as temp Nikolas tomorrow on GH? Comment below.

Lori Loughlin Returns To Acting; Set To Reprise ‘When Calls The Heart’ Role in GAC Family’s ‘When Hope Calls’

Former Fuller House, Edge of Night, and When Calls the Heart star, Lori Loughlin, has landed her first acting role since jail time and her part in the College Admissions Scandal; where she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, paid half a million dollars in bribes to get their two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, accepted into the University of Southern California.

While, Jade is now also in this season’s Dancing with the Stars, now comes word that Loughlin has gotten her first acting gig since all the legal trouble, and while still on probation following her two months in jail.

Look for Lori to reprise her beloved role of Abigail from When Calls the Heart on its season two spin-off on GAC Family, When Hope Calls.

According to Deadline: Loughlin will appear in the two-part Season 2 premiere titled When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, to air on Saturday, December, 18th.  Lori was last seen on TV as Abigail in Season 6 of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart before she was let go over her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

Last week, speculation began that Loughlin may be back working after a report surfaced from Mercury News  that she had been granted permission by a Boston federal judge to travel to Canada for about a week in late September-early October for “a filming production project.”

So, what do you think about Lori’s return to acting following serving jail time? Will you be watching her as Abigail on When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas? Comment below.
