Rick Springfield Releases “The Wall Will Fall” with Celeb Friends including Y&R’s Doug Davidson

Pop icon and former General Hospital star, Rick Springfield (Ex-Noah Drake) is back with a brand new single and music video.  But this time to bring awareness for a good cause, Rick came up with a very cool charity angle to help Feeding America during the coronavirus pandemic we are all experiencing.

Springfield’s new track, “The Wall Will Fall” was co-written with Ellen DeGeneres’ brother, Vince.  Featured in the all-star music video for the track are: Rick’s best friend, The Young and the Restless’ Doug Davidson (Paul), Ellen DeGeneres, Richard Marx, Henry Winkler, Andy Cohen, Paul Stanley, and Sammy Hagar to name but a few.

Rich told Page Six that he actually had not been battling depression during COVID-19 something he has been publicly open about in the past.  He revealed: “The lockdown hasn’t increased my depression. It’s actually alleviated it to a degree because I’ve been so busy in the studio doing stuff and feeling like I’m doing a little part somewhere to lift somebody’s spirits and so that’s helped my mood.”
