For those wandering where in the world is General Hospital’s Noah Drake these days, look no further than HBO’s hit Golden Globe nominated series, True Detective!  That’s right!  Rick Springfield is currently filming episodes for the second season of the series and he confirmed via his Twitter account!

Springfield tweeted just the other day, “Just finished my 1st day of shooting for season 2 of HBO’s True Detective. What a great script. Working w/ Colin Farrell & Rachel McAdams!”

The eight-episode sophomore season, now in production, centers on three police officers and a career criminal who must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder.  No word on just what role Rick will play in the drama series.  In addition, look for another GH alum, Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) to also have a recurring role in season two!.

As for rocker/actor Springfield, he is on a roll after completing a part in the film Ricki and the Flash with Meryl Streep! The American comedy-drama film directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Diablo Cody, about a woman who gave up and left her family to become a rock-star, and then gets a chance to get everything back where it was, is set for a June 2015 release.

Will you be checking out Rick on True Detective? What do you think he will play? Comment below!

YES! 30 yrs after my 10 yr old eyes discovered Dr. Noah Drake on GH, my heart still pounds when I see him or his hear name!

RS does not sit on his laurels. He hasn’t been out of work in 3 decades!! He was so funny as an exaggerated version of himself, “ROCKSTAR Rick Springfield” in that crazy Californication arc. Last season’s “True Detective” was just compelling and disturbing, to say the least.

Paging Dr. Griffin Munro! Matt Cohen Makes A Return Visit To GH

Looks like a medical crisis will bring Matt Cohen (Griffin Munro) back to General Hospital today on Friday’s episode and next week on upcoming episodes of the ABC daytime drama series.

In addition, we wonder if Cohen might appear in scenes with Maura West, who’s Ava Jerome is checked into Shadybrook trying to deal with her emotional state, which unbeknownst to her is being caused by Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

As GH fans know, Cohen first came on to the GH scene back in 2016, but departed the series earlier in 2019.

Meanwhile, Matt has landed a gig on Entertainment Tonight as one of their correspondents and anchors while continuing to do directing, and acting projects.

What will bring Griffin back to Port Charles? Happy to see Matt again on GH? Comment below.
