Over the weekend the news broke fast and furious at the unexpected decision of B&B mainstay Ronn Moss’s  to exit the series after playing Ridge Forrester for over 25 years.  Moss was one of the original ” core four” characters along with Susan Flannery (Stephanie), John McCook (Eric) and his long-time scene partner, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke).

While thus far Moss had not spoken publicly or in-depth on his sudden departure from the series, it is has been reported to be contract related due to a paycut demand.   However, the popular actor took to his Twitter and Facebook page late last night with this statement to address his fans,”I want to make sure, without any doubt, that you guys all know how much I love you. Your support during this time and hopefully beyond is everything. I can’t say anything yet, but soon will explain. Hang in there with me.  We have a wonderful new journey ahead of us. Try and not be sad, angry, disappointed. It’s been a great run and all good things end eventually. As this door closes, others are opening I want u all to come with me through these new doors of opportunities and experience how cool it’s going to be. Have faith, be strong, I’m yours. Know I’m eternally yours.”

Moss also to took his Twitter earlier in the weekend shortly after the news of his exit got out by stating, “You matter so much.  More than you know. I will explain soon. Please be with us. We need you more than ever … all of you.  Try not to be sad. I will explain in a couple days. Hang in there with us. We love you guys   I can’t even tell you all how much I love you all so frickin’ much. You’re the best. The best!”   Moss, we believe, was referring to him and his wife, Devin DeVasquez during his tweets, as to the “we”.

DeVasquez also took to her Twitter page and added, “Thanks for all the love and support, all fans please retweet how Ronn feels about you. Time to rally the troops!” Earlier in the weekend she tweeted, “Ronn will speak when he’s feels like it, as you all know he’s a man of few words. I cannot confirm or say anything for Ronn.  He will never leave his fans; he loves all of you so much.”

In addition, the lady loves of Ridge’s life, Katherine Kelly Lang and Hunter Tylo (Taylor) also took to Twitter and shared their surprise and shock at Moss’s decision and shared their love and support of each other with the news. Lang tweeted, “I am crying too! I hate this!”   Hunter Tylo tweeted, “I hope you got my message. I had no idea this was coming. You know I wish you and your family the best in this world and eternity! I will miss U!”  Tylo then reached out to Katherine Kelly Lang and tweeted, “It’s a sad time for us all right now. I’m sure you are devastated. I hope you know I’m here for you.”

With Moss’s final tape date set for tomorrow,  we will continue to bring you any further developments as they become available.   So soapers, what do you think of Moss, Lang and Tylo’s sentiments shared in their tweets to their fans and each other?  Let us know!

I love them so much! It’s devastating to see Ronn go.
I hope he can let his feelings go in his music. B&B will never be the same without him.

All these networks are hiring talk show host and paying them a fortune and asking soap stars to take a paycut. Is there something wrong with this picture?

Maybe if they did not show LIAM, HOPE & STEFFI every SINGLE DAY repeating the SAME LINES-Oh My God-today when Steffi took Liam to the dance club-God, it was embarrassing to even watch. Liam looks like an idiot on the dance floor. These women are fighting OVER HIM? Such a tired, tired, story. Hope needs ANOTHER wedding? Steffi is so desperate-get over him already, he’s not worth it. Back off this crap & you won’t need for Ronn to take a damn pay cut.

So sad, but so sweet. It’s good to know that they all care for each other and get along so well. They have played on of the most memorable love triangles in daytime.

Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews Exit ‘Dancing with the Stars’

The ballroom dance-competition will look quite different when season 29 of Dancing with the Stars makes its return on ABC.

Longtime host of the series Tom Bergeron (he has been with the show since 2005) and sidekick and co-host Erin Andrews are not returning to the series.  Andrews joined as co-host in 2014 and was a previous contestant.

On Monday, Bergeron got ahead of the news addressing his departure on his Twitter account sharing: “Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?”

On Tuesday, Andrews  put out a statement sharing:  “Thank you ABC and the entire Dancing with the Stars family for 6 memorable seasons.  Those years wouldn’t have been as special without my loving host Tom Bergeron, the talented dancers, and witty judges. I will always cherish my days on that set, even if I wasn’t the best at walking in heels.”

In a joint statement from ABC and producer BBC Studios, they thanked the duo: “Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the Dancing with the Stars family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success. Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Fans have been rooting for her since she originally competed as a contestant back in 2010, and her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show.”

Just how the dance-reality competition series will look comes this fall in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic remains to be seen.

So, what do you think of the departures of Bergeron and Andrews? Who do you think will be named hosts of the series for its upcoming season? Comment below.

OLTL’s Erika Slezak Featured In Film ‘Guest Artist’ with Jeff Daniels Available On-Demand Starting July 21

Great news for One Life to Live and soap fans who want to see more of six-time Daytime Emmy-winner, Erika Slezak (Ex-Viki).

Now comes word that Slezak’s recent guest-star role in the film, Guest Artist with Jeff Daneils, will be available on-demand through Redbox.  You can rent or buy the film on-demand starting next week on July 21st

Guest Artist tells the story of  a young man coming face to face with his hero (Jeff Daniels) and exploring the tangled relationship between the dreams of youth and the wisdom of age.

In the film, Slezak plays Daniel’s agent, who sends him off to Michigan, of all places.  Erika appears at the beginning of the just released trailer for the film, as well.

Back in 2018, when she landed the part, Erika noted to her fan club: “My manager said that one of his clients is Jeff Daniels, that he’d shot a movie called Guest Artist, but he needed a little extra something in the beginning, so he wanted someone to play Helen, his agent. When he asked if I’d be interested, I dropped the phone and said, “You bet!” It was a lovely scene of three or four pages, just with Jeff. He is a very nice man and a very good actor, and Timothy Busfield directed it.”

Check out the trailer for Guest Artist below.

Then, let us know if you will be interested in watching Guest Artist when its available next week, and if you hope to see more roles and performances from Erika in the future via the comment section.
